For me, there is no easy way to make money in every kind of gambling games,
Of course, otherwise things would be too easy to earn. There needs to be something in the system to prevent you from winning too much otherwise the casino would go bankrupt. These are things like luck in an EV- game and EV+ games to some extent.

Quote
it is just that we must know how to play the game and wait for your luck for you to win because sometimes even if how professional you are in gambling you may still lose at the end.
Well talking about sports and eSports in particular, you have to understand that matches can be fixed in many ways and often bookies are aware of those. Some of the big tech companies are hosting these events and they act like the mafia there. So whatever you bet on, know that losses are going to happen.

Quote
For me, there is no proportional way or a proper way for us to win it is now our strategy to be more strategize for us to win.
There is no such thing. Its called gambling for a reason.

Seeking Serious Investor/Investors
How about you start being serious yourself first? Every "beggar" in the road is also seeking a "serious investor" and one who does not waste their time throwing pennies. Cheesy

LMAO, what else are you going to think of tomorrow? A crypto-powered world? crypto-powered blah blah blah vaporware?

Just spill it here, honestly if you have something worth saying you would already say it instead of asking people to PM you. Do you have a team to get this started? Have you developed anything worth of labeling an MVP?

Remember that the one who is investing gets the PM, never sends a PM if its context is about investing.

5283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 11, 2020, 07:28:47 AM
Healthy discussions on Altcoins will make room for new investors to trust investment this year. But then again its hard to have such discussions as we wake up everyday to new scam or exit scam of a reputable project. One can't ignore all this there's nothing to trust here anymore it gets scary as the day passes by.
Healthy discussion and that too in this section? Give me a break. Most of them here are just spamming to get their signature quota done.

Not even a single altcoin in this market is worth putting your money in. Everyone of them are down and that craze with ICOs has been long gone. All tokens are back to where they came from reminding you all that the real leader is Bitcoin and not any altcoin that promises to bring huge changes to this universe. Talk about delusional devs/scammers. Grin

Anyway, even if this new year has just started and we are in the second week of it, alt-seasons are over for now. Those of you hodling it painfully, learn your lesson and sell them when you can and exit altcoins to enter into Bitcoin.
5284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How easy is it to start your own crypto exchange? on: January 11, 2020, 07:22:41 AM
There are exchange scripts that you can just install to your server, not sure about the security but its sure not easy since even the well known exchange like Binance were still hacked.
It is a big risk to take. You are taking responsibility of thousands of coins trusted upon your exchange by innocent people and you would use a bought script? There will always be a problem is hidden vulnerabilities. Hackers often pose as developers of such scripts and sell them for some money and then one day they execute those exploits and steal coins from the exchanges.

Its a very risky to do meetups when the country's law doesn't allow cryptocurrency, I would rather be selling coins thru DEX exchanges than going into such path. You'll never knew the person you intend to meet is a government agent.  Meetups alone is dangerous to do even when crypto is allowed in your country.
Meetup exchange also has the risk of robbery and getting beaten by by goons hired by a scammer. This was the reason why exchanging assets online was started.
5285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 10, 2020, 01:09:30 PM
If there's ever an app available, it can only be accessed via external sources (like CoinPoker does).
Actually sites like Primedice, stake and FJ all have a web browser based interface optimized to run in a smartphone screen. It might seem a bit cumbersome to locate everything for the first time but once you use it you get the hang of it.

Quote
It's much safer to play gambling games on your mobile device by visiting the site itself than downloading an app.
That is the idea behind Play store's policy.

Quote
In today's world where many hackers are on the hunt for crypto wallet's private keys, one needs to be careful when installing anything that's not widely trusted or recognized within the mainstream world.
It would almost be jumping on a gold mine of bitcoins if you manage to get your handmade malware on some whale's device. It not something ethical and I am sure that person is a criminal if they steal it, but it is possible and they wont give it back because this was their reason for preparing that malware.

Quote
Of course, people have different experiences when it comes to gambling with a mobile device versus a personal computer. But the trend will most likely be a hit on mobile devices, since most people don't often have time to sit on a computer at all times (or don't even have one).
I dont know, but I always feel comfortable with playing on a PC/Laptop than smartphone. Cheesy
5286  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 10, 2020, 01:02:18 PM
However, I think that the reasons are not always that governments do it in bad faith.
Bad faith may not be the correct phrase, its easier to say that they dont wish to take part in this mode of payment and prefer to keep to fiat. Lets not jump conclusions without proof.

Quote
Through irresponsibility and panic buy, and later bear market many people lost a lot of money.
But you cannot blame anybody for market movements. They are your own risk of buying a speculative asset.

Quote
Due to the lack of regulation of the ICO market, many people have been scammed.
Again due diligence should be from the investors side. They are old enough to handle their money, except the Americans who need to be babysitted by SEC. Grin

Quote
I think governments will start supporting cryptocurrency when appropriate regulations are in place to protect investors. However, it will definitely take a long time.
They would probably first regulate it. But its far from happening now.

Many governments are still struggling with how to deal with the cryptos. Those who banned are treating it as a threat to their monetary system and don't like to lose their control over the same.
Well there is a point to ponder, because the countries which have banned crypto are very low economy countries where power and oppression are going above any type of democracy.

Quote
I don't accept the reason of showing their corruption because it's not completely transparent, everyone knows only the balance of each address but not the person who owns it nor the country it belongs too. In fact, it's even easy for hiding the corrupted money in the cryptos and access it wherever they want in the world if more merchants start to accept cryptos through various spending options that crypto already offers.
Probably the revealing of government transactions will lead to nationwide problems and dissent among public.
5287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is worth doing trade mining? on: January 10, 2020, 12:57:11 PM
trading while mining ?  this was the first time i hear a kind of exchange that got this feature although i saw other exchange before that you can play gambling , chat while trading  .
No you are getting it wrong.

Like I have previously posted, a group of exchanges started this thing that the investors of that token will be getting a share of the trading fee based on the proportional share of their tokens. So whoever wants to take part in this had to buy the token, hold it for long time to generate enough ROI and then probably sell it.

Now this is not anything like legal equity, it is a risky investment and people need to be careful, because I have seen exchange go rogue and scam their investors after a few months - like nexybit. But this is a side effect that people got greedy about passive income and bought large volumes of the token.
5288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good ICO Review Sites on: January 10, 2020, 12:53:34 PM
If there's an independent ICO review sites that do not accept money or there is an option for premium review I will subscribe to that,
Independent is every site. Who is even dependent? And dependent on whom anyway? Premium is something that every ICO aggregator site is asking for. They all start off like good boy not asking anything and then gradually go to that direction to make good amounts of money. You have to understand that the people running these sites have to get paid, but they choose the quick and easy methods to earn. This is a continuous cycle because once a site goes downhill people move to another site which follows suit and people move to another site and so on.

Quote
I remember finding on ICO review site they do not offer premium review on their page but they offer it personally via pm, I just found this out and I never trusted any ICO review site from then on.
They asked money in private? You should have shared in here and it would been an amusing thread for sure. Grin
5289  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixer reccomendations? on: January 10, 2020, 12:50:13 PM
Ive been scammed on a bitcoin mixer, and was wondering if you could suggest to me reliable ones as of the new year ?
Sorry to hear that. Nobody deserves to be scammed of their money while trying to get it more private and this is why you should always do research prior to using a service to keep yourself safe. I would recommend Chipmixer which I believe is unanimously the only site that everyone would suggest. You may think its biased but if you want safety with efficient transaction then CM is the best choice.

Quote
Ideally they would have a forum where people have very recently used them
That is not really a necessity. A forum thrives on the content of the community. Now how do you expect a person trying to hide his money to chat about it? But CM's presence in this forum is pretty good as you can see.

The service that scammed me was -snip-. Any website with that same UI is fraud ! Beware  Cry Cry[/b]
You should make a thread in "Scam Accusations" to describe it if you have any information still available. It would be of great help to spread awareness among other users.
5290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Generating Bitcoin on the side? on: January 09, 2020, 12:56:01 PM
I have looked into may different websites that claim to use your pc to gather bitcoin,  in return for a small %. I am not sure but this doesnt seem very legit to me. Would it be more worth for me to invest in my own set up?
Actually lets clear some things here.

You can "mine" bitcoin. This is the official method to mint coins into the supply and that what mining rigs are used for. But to generate enough bitcoins to get a decent ROI (Return of Investment) you would need not one, not two, but several thousands of mining rigs along with electricity costs and maintenance costs. It is no longer consider profitable if done solo at your home.

Second, some site claim to install miners to mine some altcoins on your device and you can claim those coins later on once they reach a value. Avoid those, because they are installing malware and what not.

Third, there are cloud mining sites which sell contracts to hire mining rigs and you get paid for the mined coins. But in reality these are ponzi schemes, all of them, none are legit.

I hope you get your answer from this, if not let me know.
5291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The Social Phenomenon on: January 09, 2020, 07:47:57 AM
For those who are not devs they can help people about knowing what is bitcoin and how it can be used. What its pros and cons are and how it differs from fiat currencies.

While doing such promotions, one may face a lot of arguments that bitcoin might be a ponzi and a so on. So one should keep handy the the things that has been said in bitcoin wiki which can help counter some of the arguments, though not all. There are people who are hardcore anti-bitcoin, one might not want to attempt to convert them.

It is difficult to understand who might be the correct target population of such discussions but discussing among those who already know about bitcoin is less helpful though it might "feel good" because they all agree with you. It is important to teach people who do not know about bitcoin or have some little bit of exposure to it. They will be hostile towards your approach but this is what comes as the challenge.  Wink
5292  Economy / Reputation / Re: Thanks for destroying my account on: January 08, 2020, 06:34:46 PM
I meant topic, and i always use google translate.
So it seems you are confessing a truth that you are using a machine translation service to get your posts done. I assume this is because you are wearing a signature that "forces" you to make a certain quota per day? Well there are many members who also take part in many other campaigns but you must understand that taking part of other posts, half translating them from other sources and posting there here means stealing content. Which is not a good thing to do. You campaign manager need to be informed about this too.

Being able to take part in campaign is a privilege in this forum and not a right. Never force yourself to post. It only makes your post quality go down. Some of them should just be humble enough that theymos has kept the altcoins bounty section as it is even though it has slowed down by a little bit.

Quote
If anyone has an issue with those posts, then I can remove, just do not waste my account,
I think its too late for that. Also I am sure you didnt just come to this forum to start learning about bitcoin or this community. I wonder when theymos will start a ban evasion detector to this forum. They all just come in with a new persona after a ban, just make a new account and a new bitcoin address and you are all set.
5293  Other / Meta / Re: How to remove a false review from trustlist on: January 08, 2020, 07:34:11 AM
You can add those users to your distrust list, by adding a "~" before their usernames and enter them in the box. They are not in DT1/2 so you should not be bothered. Chances are that if they are considered as not trustworthy by other DT1/2 members then they would never end up in their trust lists which should be good for you.

Move this thread to "Reputation".
5294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 08, 2020, 07:13:53 AM
Because games and plays are constantly changing with different patches and so do the players, hence you must be knowledgeable first before gambling.
Some matches are fixed too. Even eSports is not free from these things. Of course doing your analysis on the teams and players and how they have fared previously on similar games will point you towards a conclusion, there will always be some luck factor involved and every game may not end up as your predicted it to be. Still more or less the top gamers are not going to win every game because they are often paid by bookies to run their game and they ask for some matches to get fixed.

Its like a part of the system. I am sure people have read about the story of "Daredevil" and thats how bad it can become when someone refuses to fix the match. Tongue
5295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is worth doing trade mining? on: January 08, 2020, 07:07:45 AM
First of all this trade mining was the recently upvoted buzzword being started by the Fcoin exchange. Then the nexybit exchange followed and they also did a similar staking process which led to their investors getting rewards everyday.

Soon enough the bubble burst and nexy turned scam telling their investors to "F-- off" and they sold off to some other company.

This is the problem with such exchanges offering something new as a passive income and making people greedy to keep their money there. One fine day they will exit scam and you wll fools will have nowhere to go complain or do anything of legal sort to get back a penny.

Therefore treat these trade mining exchanges with caution.
5296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto ambassadors and influencers on: January 08, 2020, 07:04:48 AM
Hello. Anyone with a big crypto community behind them doing influencing and ambassador work? Specially in Asia. Or where can you find this kind of services?
You would get much better responses if you visit youtube and locate the crypto influencers there. Boxmining if from Asia and they are doing such work. The best way to contact them would be through their business email listed on their youtube page. Make sure you use the proper email and remember that they will never email you first. Otherwise it is an impersonator trying to scam you.

There are several other youtubers too. Do some of your own research there to find out. Wink

Here you will get some people acting like wannabe influencers but trust me, none of them are professional. You will not get anything worth the money you would be willing to spend.
5297  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan 0.1 Btc on: January 07, 2020, 08:06:44 AM
I do not know the reason but I think at least 80% loan request from newbie is alter from an old member.
Likely, they try to hide. But as far as no proof that can be dug up, it can be left aside.

Yes bro Browone read carrefuly what I have told to shasan I told him that I know this forum since 3 years but I have already registred
Why the unnecessary lies? It is not a difficult thing to browse your post history and find out that the first post that you made is asking for a non collateral loan. Even a small amount of honesty is so rare these days.

Did you have an account here before making this account? If so what was the username of that account and why you did not ask a loan from that one with or without collateral? Some lenders have allowed non collateral loans from to older users provided they sign a message from that account's address using that address.
5299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: January 07, 2020, 07:01:33 AM
Because Christmas and New Year celebrations are similar to each other, after the two holidays have finished, I would prefer to do it. Since there are plenty of extra costs for the event such as food, presents and gambling extra money is not a wise one to budget for all the expenses. I don't want to lose the money that i actually need.
Well it has been one week of the new year and the OP is nowhere to be seen in this thread. Grin

I am sure he spent his money well on food and booze and maybe some other stuff but I hope he didnt waste it on gambling like everyday else. Of course nobody wants a bad start to the year by getting a bad bust. But treat this just as another day in the life of a common man. Nothing special there if the casino is running a same algorithm. They dont give you benefits for playing on Holidays, except some bonuses.

I think it is time now to close this thread.
5300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 07, 2020, 06:58:19 AM
I think that if we talk about mass adoption, it should mean that Bitcoin is largely recognized as a payment method. So I'm talking about the reality where you don't have to look for specific stores to use Bitcoin but can go to your regular ones and use Bitcoin to pay for groceries.
The number of stores accepting bitcoin is still just a handful but more and more merchants are gradually coming in. Besides Bitrefill is a good place to buy gift card to redeem and use the credit to buy things on Amazon if that is what you are looking for.

Quote
I know, scalability. It's indeed a serious problem. Is the Lightning Network the only solution? Is it even a realistic solution?
You should take a look at what LN is and how it operates. This will clear this doubt. It is the next step.

Quote
Now, I realize it won't solve all of the problems, because if there are too many transactions that are being put through like that, the number of unconfirmed transactions will be building up. However, I think it could be a solution for a less significant adoption step or as a temporary measure. What do you think about all that?
Well I think this is a problem of the debit card system. It is something that you have to accept if you want to use a debit card. Now the bitcoin payment does not work like it, money is sent instantly just waits for the miner to mine that block in which it gets included and the money is sent. Take a shorter time but both has its own pros and cons.
