OMG, it's alive again! Run!!!!
5302  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Denver Murder Rate Cut in Half After Marijuana Legalization. Coincidence? on: May 21, 2014, 05:32:29 PM
In any case, I could see it cutting the murder rate linked to the Marijuana trade. Who's going to kill someone over a crop they could grow in their garden?
5303  Other / Politics & Society / FBI needs stoners! Aparently all the best hackers smoke weed. on: May 21, 2014, 05:04:39 PM
Kinda funny. The FBI is considering dropping it's requirement to avoid weed. They have concluded that many of the best computer hackers smoke and they need them badly. I wonder how much they are hurting for talent after the Snowden data dump? It must keep some people from helping them.

5304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are girls using Bitcoins? on: May 21, 2014, 01:50:30 PM
My wife uses them. Although I did get into them first, she now has a wallet. The last two meals I paid for in BTC included tips to waitresses. Tips they requested in BTC! Sure girls use them, why would they not?

I think it's bitcointalk that women don't use. I don't blame them.
5305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fee on: May 20, 2014, 08:24:30 PM
It is possible, though unlikely, that your transaction will never be included in a block. Payment of fees is voluntary, but so is including your Tx.

Could such "unincluded in a block" transaction, be deducted from the payer wallet while not shown in the payee wallet? Meaning that funds would be lost in a "black hole"?

If your wallet keeps re-broadcasting the transaction, then it's a pain in the ass to get your money out of this semi-black hole. If not, then it should be returned to you in a few days.
I mean, seriously, just add the fee, it's 0.0001. 5 cents.
This. It is a hassle to undo an abandon transaction. Way more trouble than $0.05.

5307  Other / Off-topic / Re: FACEBOOK IS DEAD on: May 20, 2014, 05:50:10 PM
What is facebook? A social network for businesses to spy on us or something? No thanks! I'm sticking with my Friendster account, lol. Grin

P.S. What do you know, friendster is still online. Reborn as a game site.
5308  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is driving the price crazily up???? on: May 20, 2014, 05:45:06 PM
Maybe it's news from the past few weeks? Perhaps people finally have their accounts funded and ready. Or an increase in demand from deals made at last weekends conference in Amsterdam?

Mhmmm... There really hasn't been any innovations at Bitcoin 2014. I expect Coindesks article to tell us the reason.
Maybe so. I was unable to attend this one so I am just guessing. We had a price bump after last years event that I assume was related.

Could China have secretly un-banned btc?  Cheesy

5310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mastercard hired 5 lobbyists to slam bitcoin in US Congress on: May 16, 2014, 08:32:04 PM
I doubt that is going to persuade a judge.
The reading comprehension is weak with this one.
I don't know what you are looking at in that link that is relevant to my statements?

Anyway, the only lobbyists working to counter the work of MasterCard are those employed by the bitcoin foundation. Considering how loony and in tatters the bitcoin community is MC has a good chance of winning their arguments and writing the policy you and I will have to live with.  Sad
5311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin Foundation behind the disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 16, 2014, 07:13:31 PM
Why is there a Bitcoin foundation and why is it important to Bitcoin or to me?
Would it make more sense for this thread to be the basis for policy makers to act on?
5312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mastercard hired 5 lobbyists to slam bitcoin in US Congress on: May 16, 2014, 05:39:25 PM
I may choose to ignore the laws I disagree with. But when I'm in court that is not going anywhere.
Obviously if you end up in court you're doing it wrong.

See this thread: https://lwn.net/Articles/598061/

5313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: High Value Sell -- how? on: May 16, 2014, 04:25:13 PM
I would try lining up a buyer in real life and keep off the exchanges.
5314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin Foundation behind the disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 16, 2014, 04:22:17 PM
Yeah, they killed him.

Has anyone checked under the foundation lately?

There is no body left, we ate it. At night BF members turn into monsters and eat people.  Smiley
5315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who are the youngest bitcoin millionaires? on: May 15, 2014, 05:55:16 PM
becoming a millionaire in the age of 19 and 20 I think is the luckiest thing on this planet
That does sound fun! It also sounds a little like a story that ends with an overdose in a swanky hotel room.  Cheesy
5316  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you look away whenever guys make out on tv? on: May 15, 2014, 05:39:47 PM
Even weirder to me is that almost every night on TV there are hideous murders followed by grotesque autopsies. We call that entertainment, but show someones ass and its pornography.  Huh
Who needs to hide something everyone has?
5317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sudanese Muslim woman sentenced to death for Christian conversion on: May 15, 2014, 04:28:21 PM
Gota love theocracy.
What kind of religious argument says that my god is so powerful that he needs me to kill a pregnant woman.  Roll Eyes
5318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ongoing Civil War in America on: May 15, 2014, 04:25:49 PM
Latest news leak from the American Patriots Militia Groups:

You can find members of the 13 inbred European Bloodlines of terrorist organization Illuminati by looking at their U.S dollars contributions to their politicians.
I knew Carl Rove was at the center of this!
5319  Other / Meta / Re: theyrnos on: May 15, 2014, 04:23:47 PM
Haha Good find.
Let's start directing forum questions to him and see how much he like the job then.  Cheesy

You are a long-time government associate, recommend TOR, and promote the idea that PBS is independent and/or objective.

I get ya.

Carry on Trooper.
lol  Cheesy Of course. There must be a secret plot that only you can discover. Anyone who disagrees must be in on it.
