How do we know whether we have been enrolled in this campaign or not? I checked on the Google spreadsheet but my name is not there.

It means you are not yet enrolled if your name is not in the google doc. I am waiting too to be enrolled. Hope it doesnt take that long.

Even SMS verification won't help when the hacker have the private key of yours. He can open that wallet in any PC without any verification at all.

If I will be accepted thank you. I learned throughout the forum that this is the only newbie friendly signature, so if all places are not filled yet, I would like to be enrolled and promise to never change this signature again.

Thanks a lot, fully understood now.
What was you have been understood? Do you mean you have been understood how to make loans?  Grin

No I don't need loan, I have a normal amount of BTC but yeah I fully learned how to sign a message to join some signature.

Always Remember, as long as you have 2FA enabled there will be few little chances of your account being hacked.

I am not that much in BTC , but I am in technology , I am using other sites with 2FA, you can get burned if you try to setup 2FA in an infected machine. The hacker can see that one time key needed for manual entry to disable your 2FA, so I insist that you do the setup of your 2FA in a PC you are 1000% sure it is not infected with anything.

I have downloaded Electrum and Multibit. Using both as per users instructions in this forum in another thread of mine.

Thank you for your suggestions, I am sticking with electrum now, I put its seed in a Password protected document, then I added it to RAR also with another password, and will open it only in secure environments.

I don't have a lot of coins, but what I have is precious to me as I have spent a lot of time earning it.

Well to me 1000 EURO is not a lot but very good, being in a third world country myself which I prefer not to tell names in here.  4000 EURO is a lot to me as this was my point in the beginning, making 2500 USD worth of BTC and waiting for price to raise, to sell them, to buy a very good used car Smiley

Thank you guys I installed Electrum and did as per your instructions.

In some other websites I am using them, they told me if I cared a lot about BTC-s in my possession then I should switch to Mac or Linux if I am using Windows as too many flaws  Huh

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit, so what to do ,keep it or change it Huh I am not familiar at all with Linux and I know a bit about Mac as my cousin have one.
I did a malware scan with Spyware Terminator and it looks clean. What to do, trying next step or relying on Electrum  Huh

Shocking story, I end up in this forum because of reading about BTC being robbed from people from hackers and malwares.

I have done research on the net, and by doing it, I ended up in this forum. Hi to everyone as this is my first post and I didn't see a section for just introducing ourselves in here.
I have some BTC not that really high amount but I have earned it online. The problem is I have read so many stories of people being robbed of their BTC so I would like to know , what you guys do to keep your BTC secure online. Don't have the tech capacity to do it offline for now.  Huh
