5301  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 22, 2020, 01:38:07 PM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.

This pandemic has been ruining a lot of lives and even affecting the global economy. Lots of people have been dying and it has changed our way of living but despite everything, I don't think China would take over huge countries' economies like the US or even Europe. It still has a lot to go through or to prove. I believe that if things would get better, these countries will still recover.
5302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are research on altcoins for long term investment worth it?? on: April 22, 2020, 10:15:48 AM
It is true, research is just an initial step for you to gauge if a project has a potential or not. Once the project gathered enough funds for project developent, it all depends on the whole team how will they maximize the fund and how will develop the platform/product as well as marketing which will determine the growth in the long-run.
5303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: April 22, 2020, 09:42:59 AM
Very rarely it was only during initial days when I was so obsessed to it as it was in moving money and wanted to make the most of it . But as times passed by and understood that it should be only taken as fun and entertainment purpose then it started to be a very good way to enjoy the game and time as well . So after that it was all good and never had difficulty in sleeping .
Gambling makes you feel like insomnia only when you lost , everyone knew about it, stressful thing always ended up with the same result.
So do with the joyful thing when you won a game unexpectedly it will always ended up with the same results,  a good memory that let you fall in deep sleep.

So yeah it's conditional.
it can make you sleepless also if you win big because you will consider going back again to win and win more because greediness will run your mind at most time.
Fortunately it never happened to me.

Knows the time to get some rest and stop for a while is a crucial factor here.
Thinking to play over and over again is indeed always there , control that thoughts and you'll see the better result at the end of the day include a sleep tight and wake happily.

I think it is normal to think to play over again, especially if you stopped for the day because you're on a limited bankroll or you're trying to control your self. I seldom have problem sleeping maybe during the days when I was new in gambling, I learned to learn from my mistake and consider it as a lesson instead of depriving my self from sleeping thinking of what should I have done.
5304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Implement a Max Bet Option on Sportsbooks on: April 22, 2020, 08:56:02 AM
This also happens not only in sports betting but also in other online casino games. I experienced adding a little more digit on my bet accidentally or rage betting whenever I lose several bets. However,  I doubt if some platforms would implement such limit because they also earn depending on the amount of bet.
5305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bottom is yet to come??? on: April 22, 2020, 05:29:01 AM
Guys, how many of you feel Bitcoin will test another bottom before the halvening event HuhHuh  I have a feeling that the price drop will be coming soon one last time to somewhere between 3k-4K range  Grin

I still have my hope for Bitcoin. I'm not losing my faith in it and I believe that it could actually reach a good price right before the halving. I'm not expecting that it will rise to a very high value but it won't drop that low. Bitcoin is quite resistant to every global disaster so even the pandemic wouldn't affect it that much.
5306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 22, 2020, 12:37:43 AM
Even famous platforms get hack, it is never advisable to store your money online even if it is a well-known platform, hackers will surely find ways to infiltrate platforms. Imagine million dollars have been stolen from different platforms since crypto had started and the majority is from small platforms which is an easy target for hackers.
5307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: April 21, 2020, 11:43:43 PM
As of now, there is no altcoin that can replace bitcoin. It had been the most successful crypto, people see bitcoin as the main cryptocurrency. It is too far from reality for ethereum to replace bitcoin at the current state since bitcoin dominates the market.
5308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 21, 2020, 10:54:23 PM
I honestly do not want to keep my hopes high since the pandemic had crushed both the economy and the crypto market. However, the market is unpredictable and anything can happen in a snap. To avoid any disappointment, I will just watch the market closely as the halving comes near.
5309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: April 21, 2020, 10:19:29 PM
It's a fact and this entertainment reason, I think it's still there but not that the priority anymore.

A gambler will always aim to win and when we win, there's money = profit.
Well, it is true, this entertainment reason seems to be their way to escape the fact what they really after. I don't think that there are some people who only gamble without aiming to win money. There is no such person with the idea of burning money without expecting a return.
There might be some but we don't know.

That could be just a reasoning to hide the real intent. Every person that gamble won't look further to that reason unless he's too rich and only wants to burn his money.
Rich people do not have that kind of mindset.

They won't be rich if they will just burn their money if they want to. Rich people only have one mindset and it is to make their money grow and nothing more. A person is good at hiding its real intent, but we all know that in gambling, our purpose is to win and not to burn money.

That is true, all people gamble for money. Some rich people might be gambling for pleasure, thrill, or to have more connections with pther rich people or to socialize. But mainly, everything in gambling is about winning and profit.
5310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 05:20:00 PM
I doubt if he will totally stop gambling. Once you have the taste of winning, it would be difficult to leave. What more if you had won a lot of money or hit a jackpot. This might push him, even more, to try his luck again. Gambling can make people greedy.
5311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 19, 2020, 02:44:17 PM
Crypto gambling is not different from real-time gambling, vices like smoking, drinking, drugs, and anything else has nothing to do whether if you are gambling at home or casino. It depends from person to person, if you are a smoker, alcohol addict, or drug addict this will not stop you even if your gambling online.
5312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 19, 2020, 02:12:45 PM
Even before the lockdown, I am not comfortable gambling somewhere crowded and I don't want to get destructed by voices and opinions whenever I gamble. It is either I play online or play with only a few people when I gamble. Staying in crowded places will only put you at risk, and suffocated.
5313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 19, 2020, 12:58:18 PM

Gamblers, I think, should be aware of the fact that there are people who are lucky and there are people who are not, pushing your luck and expectations won't result into betterment of an individual, gambler perhaps in this situation. When it comes to income, people should not depend on resources that won't show consistency ; you may win sometimes in gambling but take note of how many times you have lost.

Most people's mentality is stuck that hitting a jackpot in gambling can change their lives. The chances of winning a jackpot are really slim. To add, not all those who have won a jackpot had changed their life completely. There are people who had won a jackpot and had lost their fortune in just a short span of time.

The more people stick to this mentality the more they depend their fate on gambling, the higher the chance they get addicted to gambling. I know a lot of people who are gambling addicts who had won a huge amount of money and are still stuck on the same spot financially. Winning a jackpot might lead to a bigger problem, because most people are greedy and will continue to push their luck in gambling.

5315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we are not having more sites like freebitco.in[unique cases of freebitco.in] on: April 19, 2020, 09:25:13 AM
The longest-running faucet I have known. Freebitcoin had been trusted by many users since they don't have complicated requirements if you are withdrawing your money. It would be difficult for other developers to create something similar to free bitcoin because most people look for something new and unique, they avoid patronizing replicas of other trusted websites.
5316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: April 19, 2020, 07:07:44 AM
I've known free bitcoin since I used to claim in their faucets and join their lottery when I was new in crypto. It is one of the oldest lottery platforms and it's good to know they are still operating and they even had their fundraising to help frontliners from the US. I hope more platforms even it is big or small will conduct their fundraising charity to help those who are on the frontline or those who are incapable during the pandemic.
5317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 19, 2020, 06:07:22 AM
I am not sure you are not a gambling addict even though you can control it. Controlling the desire to gamble is an attempt to avoid various problems that are often felt by gamblers and in my opinion, this effort is not to avoid addiction because someone who can return to playing gambling are those who are said to be addicted.
That is not a call in the name of addiction, their desire is only to return to playing gambling to have fun and enjoy it as entertainment when he wants, something that has limitations not included in the addiction category, let alone can control themselves.
Everyone has control but they only say that we have no control I think anyone can stop gaming at any time when they realize that playing any more could be risky but sometimes people try to recover the loss and they lose even more so better have control on your emotions and not to let your greed or your addiction give you financial lose, self-control is the most important feature for a good gambler.

It is easier said than done. Every gambler is aware of this, however, people always push their luck if they are winning or they don't lose their hope when they are chasing their losses. So, most of the time gamblers stop when they are even or they have lost all their fund. Only those who have a good self-control wins.
5318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 17, 2020, 05:43:08 AM
With the economic crisis, nobody know what will happen this coming halving. We cannot expect something same as the past halving because the pandemic changed the whole course of the market. However, remember how crypto atarted, it started when the market crashed in U.S. and no one knows what will happen this halving.
5319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best stories about your crypto experience on: April 17, 2020, 04:14:57 AM
I started in crypto a little over 2012 when I was a fresh graduate in college. I just had my first job and was skeptical in crypto since this is something new and was wondering how people can earn via online. From the beginning, I knew that crypto is undervalued and the demand on it will explode in a few years, however, I was not financially capable during that time which is why I missed out on buying crypto really cheap. I went back to crypto just before the last bull-run and this time I was able to earn decent amount of money not just thru investing but also bounty hunting. I have learned a lot of lessons either in a good or heart breaking way and I am still in progress in learning in regarda to cryto.
5320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: April 16, 2020, 10:16:05 PM
Doing bounties since the end of altcoin season last 2017 had already been difficult. There are only few bounties that had paid bounty hunters but only few of it had been listed in the market. ICO and IEO is dead because of the number of scam project that had come out. There might be some good projects out there, so it is difficult to find a rewarding bounty nowadays.
