5301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How easy is it to start your own crypto exchange? on: January 07, 2020, 06:48:09 AM
One of the biggest problems is trying to set up anew exchange is the problem with local regulatory systems. You have to follow them even if you are a CEX or a DEX. These days government is cracking down on every operator and making them KYC compliant to force them to give the transaction data of their users. This seems bad to us but for the government it is necessary to keep money laundering under check. Most of the users here may not be doing criminal laundering but there are people who do this.

Apart from that, you have to develop the DEX first, then have a source of funds ready, keep hot wallets and cold wallets in proper shape, maintain the system and take care of customer service.
5302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS on: January 07, 2020, 06:45:27 AM
Honestly, I have been in bounty campaigns for 3 years now, and maybe for the whole of 2019 I was not participating in anymore (unless you call a signature campaign a bounty,,, which it is strictly speaking) and I know the simple truths.
Again bitcoin paying campaign are still running well even if the market is a bit bearish. That shows that the demand for the leader of cryptocurrencies is always there. Hence I always ecourage people to move on from shitcoin bounties to bitcoin paying campaigns. But the truth comes out there because they are not willing to do this change since getting into a signature campaign needs a good post quality and bounty hunter have a poor one there.

Quote
People who complain do not usually deserve to get anything at all. I have seen all types of bounty hunters and even as one myself, 99% of them are beggars and people who expect free money.
Go a bit easy on them. They have tried to abuse ICO campaigns so much that they sold their logical thinking away. The demand for bounty hunters runs from the low economy countries and so they are still there but the number has reduced.

I think the world is unfair and we should get used to it. Stop supporting stupid projects and move on.
They still believe that these "stupid" projects will be able to become the next bitcoin. Cheesy
5303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: January 06, 2020, 11:12:38 AM
Most of the casinos have maximum reward for single bet so if you are not finding the maximum bet or reward amount then its possible scam
Seems a bit vague to me, because you can ask the support team about maximum bet reward if you are concerned about it. That does not necessarily mean that the site is scam. If you find bets to be not verifiable on third party verifiers then it is a scam. Often new sites dont show their maximum win value but they do incorporate it in the information somewhere else.

Quote
and also no one can consider giving more profits is the best site because profits are just random and if it got increased then you are lucky while betting on that site.
Can you please explain this further? Your statement does not make any sense to me. Why would a site suddenly give you bigger profit if you have not done anything yourself? Even if they do why are you even bothered about it? Of course I may have misunderstood which is why I ask you to rephrase it.
5304  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 06, 2020, 11:02:29 AM
One of the reasons is that prices are not always stable. At times for months it is stable and then suddenly moves abruptly.
Point to note here that for the last 2years bitcoin price swing range has been less than 5%. Those who are citing volatility are making a wrong conclusion. Volatility would be there if you consider the time range to be more than 4-5 years. But that is absurd. Actually this is a cognitive bias used by nocoiners to make bitcoiners look bad. Just check the price charts and you will realize what I tried to say.

Quote
Another thing is that not all government supports it considering it can create a risk to their existing country’s currency.
Governments wont accept bitcoin so easily. They have fiat and they like it. They dont want their money transfers on a public blockchain and showing all their corruption. So they wont accept bitcoin anytime soon.
5305  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we going to have a profitable bounty hunting in 2020? on: January 06, 2020, 10:56:31 AM
Last year was not a profitable year for bounty hunters like us, but as we are embracing a new year, a new hope has live.

so do you believe that we will have a good bounty year? if yes, why?
The bounty hunting days are over my friend. Its time not be nostalgic about them and move on to better and bigger things. All the ICO/IEO/STO/another Initial Blah blah offering that happened turned upside down after Dec 17 and now they are scraping for private funding secretly or development in order to get some traction.

At this point the fund raising that happens for projects also repeat the same outcome. Dont consider these to be profitable anymore. Its like throwing the stone in the dark and expecting gold to return back. Better to focus on bitcoin paying signature campaigns or skill development for service offering.

5306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you not relented in viewing your account wallet? on: January 06, 2020, 10:46:54 AM
What's the use of looking at your wallet when you know what you are trading and how much gains you are having in your trades.
This happens when you have a big portfolio, maybe some of which were bought by fake pumps making the person greedy to buy them. These types of people do exist and it is the reason why ICOs which turned useless have been existing and still continue to raise money in the name of another ICO/IEO or something.

Quote
Looking at your wallet won't increase your profits but will surely make you worry from time to time.
It only increases the mental trauma. If the person is confident of their coins to go up then there is no need to check them everyday but only when ordering a trade of buy/sell. You need to have nerves of steel to remain alive in this market which is way more risky than stocks or commodities. But I am sure this type of practice is not going to help anyone.
5307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Have PayPal<> Need ETH on: January 05, 2020, 03:18:37 PM
You can post up here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 but i doubt that anyone would trust up such transaction knowing that PP chargeback issue.

A sane user would not deal with the OP. Paypal trades are risky because of the chargeback issue and this is the case where they can get scammed. Simply the OP would take ETH and send PP to the trader and then a few months later do a chargeback to scam them. The sad part is that the person who gets scammed will not be able to make any sort of appeal against it.

OP does not have any prior trading feedback, which makes it very suspicious.

Here is another shady thread by the same user : [Job offering] For hard working peoples who want a source of income!

5308  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting a loan of 0.2BTC loan until 1/10/2020 on: January 05, 2020, 12:21:05 PM
Lol, so I get a negative trust because of asking for a loan?
You have asked for a non collateral loan where you offer something like an advance payment as "collateral" but it is not accepted as a valid one,

I suggest you to read here - [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

This shows that beyond reasonable doubt you are trying to take someone's money and not return it in time because here nothing traceable is given by you neither it can be used in a court of law to extort the lent money to you.

Quote
You do realize you have the ability to deny the loan, right?
Irrelevant.

Quote
Your negative trust is dumb and unwarranted. Some childish crap because you have nothing better to do.
It will mark you as scammer and prevent anyone naive from trusting you with your money. Thats how this forum works. If you dont like it, leave it.

5310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Amount Of Available Dice Rolls Per Day on: January 05, 2020, 07:55:59 AM
I am new to Bitcoin Dice Roll games but was wondering what the best sites are to have large amount of dice rolls per day using a bot?
Is it possible to roll over 100,000 rolls per day on one site? Any recommendations.
I do not have a direct answer to your question but I understand what you are addressing the roll speeds of any site to determine the number of rolls that can be done on a single day. Now using the dicebot you can make a big number of rolls maybe exceeding 100k but this depends on how fast the server of the site processes them. Most of the older and reputable sites have a good number there. You wont be disappointed if you try.

Quote
Also, has anyone used Nitrogen before and what is their limit?
NS is not a trusted site as per the judgement from the community of this site. Their dice may be fair but their sportsbook has some accusations. You may want to ask them this question directly.

Quote
I tried Google'n this question but couldn't find the answer.
Of course you wont get this answer by Google. Try it yourself and find out.
5311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a bullish sign as halving approaches? on: January 05, 2020, 07:52:02 AM
Prediction is not always right and not always wrong.
True that but they all dont understand this and tend to take it for granted.

Quote
To be sure when approaching halving or halving has happened, certainly not immediately bitcoin suddenly increased. Because in my opinion, after halving, at least 1-2 months we will see the movement of bitcoin. Is it going to trend to increase or decrease altogether. We will see later.
It may not be just 1-2 months, we may not see any price movements at all. This halving related price rise is in everyone's minds and so they will buy and stock up coins before the halving making the market rise before the halving. Then they will sell at the inflated price and make a crash. Thats what I have seen happening previously and this will repeat.

So with the halving I am expecting a drop in price which will again take time to recover.
5312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any new projects that will go live soon & will have bounty? on: January 05, 2020, 07:48:33 AM
I want to know about some best projects that are gonna launch soon & they will run the bounty pogram too.
I like your optimism but like I always say, optimism without any logic behind it is useless. In this current state every new ICO/IEO or another coin offering is not going to do well. So their bounty would also not be worth spending time on. Now you can find a one in a million project that may become huge in future but that is rare to find and not worth your time.

Quote
If you can suggest me about some good projects then it will be helpful for me.
I will always suggest you to go for bitcoin paying campaigns and not indulge in shitcoins. They never develop their projects properly just wannabe fund raising occurs and then go into stagnancy. Better to also develop your own skills and get a job.
5313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you treat the current airdrop bounty? on: January 05, 2020, 07:44:55 AM
So I set up a telegram group to share good projects with everyone, not to waste time participating in junk content.
How do you determine which project is good and which one is bad? What is your yardstick of judgement? Also it is more of a subjective approach and not an objective one - something that is lacking among all PR systems in the crypto ecosystem except some few.

Quote
In fact, I don't think that judging the project depends on the number of people involved and the publicity of the project itself, but the real discussion and communication of the project.
No. A project that is having discussion may be using ICO thread bumping services to develop a fake buzz and keeping their thread on top or their group active. It would be a shady approach.

Communication is another blanket there. A company may have good communication but that does not mean development is actually occurring unless they show their MVP for testing and use. Someone can just run a project with delaying development like most corporate do and keep investors in the dark. Another shady approach.
5314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whale alert tool on: January 04, 2020, 12:52:37 PM
Classic scam method that people have been doing since time immemorial. Make the noobs drool over "whale indicators" and sell this vaporware to the dumb ones to make some money. The worst part is that even if you understand that you got scammed, you have nobody to report it to and even if you do you wont be able to save others because there will always be that few naive individuals who will believe everything that someone tells them on the internet and take it for granted.

So how much did you lose? Maybe provide some more information about where you found about this and if you have any info of these scam channels. Would be a good way to raise some awareness about these even if it does not help much for those who actually need it - evidenced by the fact that these scammers still exist at large.
5315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 04, 2020, 08:49:19 AM
If you happen to know of good Android apps which allow you gamble with crypto, please let me know. Also, feel free to share your experience when gambling using a mobile device. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Are you aware that Google does not allow gambling apps on their Play store? That is why none of the reputable sites have their apps in the store and neither would develop any for such.

Instead they develop the site in such a way that it gets optimized for both PC/Laptop and Smartphone view. All the dicebots have been developed with the PC/Laptop idea in mind and they also dont go for any smartphone.

In this context I think I should mention that some scammers have tried to use the same names of reputed sites to create apps and put them on play store either to steal money or install malware. They get taken down quickly though. But this should be kept in mind.
5316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 04, 2020, 08:45:33 AM
Before introducing a new system of payment as a financial manager one would have to take in the concepts of who are the buyers of the service, here its drivers and owners - whether they are coming from such a city with crypto adoption prevalent or not.

See humans are creatures of habit. They like to follow routines and not step out of the daily routine. If you introduce something new to them you have to make them use it and this is the toughest part of the job.

Otherwise you will end up setting a POS with nobody using the system. You would not be able to raise the money you needed to set that up eventually will end up returning it. So I believe that you need to know your ground - where such a system would be used properly and then expand from there once the word goes out.
5317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: January 04, 2020, 08:40:30 AM
which is not true sucess of the project will not be base which exchange that project listed . the project will be successful if tthey continue to make solution and develop thier project to the real goal of it .
Accepted but, at the same time Binance IEO may be a good option for those who are looking for quick flip and thus they put in a 100$ in some new shitcoin with a lot of vaporware and a bunch of braindead shills. They can execute the trade of 120$ even when the shills are fighting among themselves and thus get a quick 20$ profit out of it.

Now imagine the condition if they are doing this everyday with not just one but several IEOs. They are like venture capitals taking their profit and leaving. They are not bagholders. They are the reason why exchanges see a lot of activity besides the bots.

They need to be engaged in the project market making and that is why big exchanges have the upper hand.
5318  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: January 04, 2020, 08:36:38 AM
Yes I think it would be a good thing to convert BTC to GOLD especially since i am an American and our money is based on the value of gold. Right now BTC is not really recognized as money in the UNITED STATES but I hope it will be soon enough.
You might want to hold your horses there fellow member. There is not going to be an acceptance of bitcoin into massive proportions without massive anti-bitcoin movements. See although here you might see the pro-bitcoin attitude but trust me, out there it is not so. Because here members are those who are interested and trading bitcoin thats why this target population is responding like this.

But trust me, the people of this world dont really believe all things bitcoin stands up to. The percentage of bitcoin users is still very low even in America. Now gold is an investment you thus would want to keep aside for future. There is no guarantee that in future your country will be pro-bitcoin whatever the situation now is. Then what would you turn to? So keep both and see what happens in future.
5319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still bigger in 2019 from all other Commodities on: January 03, 2020, 08:57:36 AM
While somewhat a good news, Bitcoin is not meant to be an asset, but rather a mode of payment, a currency. And so this news is good for speculating investors, but for true adoption to happen, people must not see it as an asset but rather a currency that they could actually use in alternative for fiat currency.
Well it is complicated to start with. There has always been the speculative market with bitcoin because it has been a center of attraction for long as to how and where it can be used. Now it became a trading asset or something to store value in recently when prices went up. Whether to use it as an asset does not make it stop its use just like gold.

It has a value and so it can be used for transactions and stored. So what is the problem here? It is rising in price and people are making profit from it.
5320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: January 03, 2020, 07:16:39 AM
Typically, privacy, reputation and good services like withdrawal and deposit are significant. These are the most common factors that gamblers wanted every time gambling sites are searched and reviewed.
To add some few more things that players commonly complain of if not provided:
- quick response support system
- a bonus/rakeback system
- a VIP and leveling system

Quote
Just to make sure they don't get abuse, and the gambling site should have a validated fair system and algorithm. I can recommend that you first have your own research before using a gambling platform to avoid future problems such as getting scammed.
I think the most basic and hands-down only thing to be accepted as a fair casino is the provably fair system. Without this, it is not a casino at all, if not they are only a sports book since those dont need this system. But yes for dice slots and other games where you are playing against the computer, you have to have a system such that the casino is not rigging bets. Otherwise it is a scam.
