5301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 22, 2021, 10:18:56 AM
Thank you guys for all the replies.

But I have to locked the thread as Crawford has won the fight. Hopefully we will see him fight Errol Spence Jr. next.
5302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 22, 2021, 09:50:21 AM
I think these dirty style plays from LeBron are going to become more and more common as his aging lowers his play level to be below some of the young guys in the league. I don’t he’s going to have an easy time adjusting to him not being the most dominant player on the court. When I start seeing stuff like that, it makes me think he should start considering retirement before he cheapens his legacy.
Agree with you, that's a sign of frustration that he cannot be dominant anymore, plus his team now is struggling and I really thought they would lose against the Pistons but I'm surprised they bounce back really strong in the 4th quarter. They had struggled against a weak team, so they have no chance to beat a good team especially in the playoffs if they won't adjust and Lebron acted like he began to doubt himself.

Or he could be feeling insecure about this young guys because he is disrespecting him. And if I may recall in this game, he was really frustrated, he was blocked twice with no fouls. It was clean block though so maybe this really fuel James attitude in this game specially a team like Detroit. Yes, he is not a dirty players, but this time he really went overboard and it was a cheap shot.
5303  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Gifting Bitcoin to minor on: November 21, 2021, 09:41:49 PM
I would like to gift Bitcoin to a minor - how would I do this please?

Paper wallet would be a good idea.

Or follow this tutorial, (might be outdated though), but the idea is still there [Howto] Give Bitcoin as a gift.

Or you can buy this: https://opendime.com/ and use it as a gift.
5304  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 21, 2021, 09:13:28 PM
If the FUD were not taken place, I think we already beat the BTC at 70K mark this November. Nonetheless, I think the BTC market will still recover to its 60K+ price within this month and could potentially drop again by December. I can see a lil bit of correction up to 59K+ and could again have momentum at the start of the year. We're witnessing a bull trap this month and dont be fooled with it.

Regardless, I think we are bound for a correction after getting to a new all time high.

Yeah, it could recover to $60k, but I doubt that it will take months though, we are getting closer to it. And with the Asian market opening in about few hours, maybe in the start of this week, we will have a good attempt at it and maybe sustain. So, if that happens then this is not a bull trap but a full mode recovery and on the way to at least $70k.
5305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 21, 2021, 11:03:34 AM

I mean this fight should have happen many months ago and maybe boxing fans has gotten tired of this one. So it make sense for Kambosos to sell the fight in his native Australia so that many of his fans will buy the tickets PPV.

Lopez though is quiet now, and the next time that we will see them together is the weigh in.

And I'm still expecting a lot of fire works and trash talking during their face-off.

I hope the long wait is worth it, I lost count of the delays, Lopez is planning to fight Haney when this fight is not yet finished, he is so sure that he will win the fight, Kambosos is a good well deserve fighter you don't overlook Kambosos he is putting Kambosos to shame by making him look a weak fighter, I hope Kambosos wins the fight so he will not underestimate good fighters like Kambosos, he thinks he is invincible, bypassing his opponent.

I expect Kambosos to really put up a good show in the beginning, maybe going toe to toe with Lopez and trying to test Lopez chin and resiliency.

But I don't think it will be enough though, Lopez is too good here. So I'm not seeing an upset by Kambosos, and maybe this could be a tko/ko win by Lopez late.
5306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 21, 2021, 10:10:36 AM
Live betting on Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards.

Wizards down by 10 points if I'm not mistaken when I put my bet. But my gut feeling says that they are going to make a comeback and will defend everything in their home court and will take that win.

So after a tough lost on the Warriors yesterday, come up with this huge win for me.
5307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 21, 2021, 09:33:11 AM
Great performance and a well-deserved win by Crawford Porter's father stopped the fight after Porter suffered two knock downs

That's the instinct of the father to protect his son from further damage. After that second knockdown, Porter doesn't have the legs anymore to continue competitively so that's a good decision by the father to stop the fight.

Damn, lost my bet but that's okay as the fight was very exciting and personally I have Porter leading the scores going into the 10th round.

I did bet on Crawford winning by KO at the last minute:

I just thought that if someone is going to knockout Porter, it could be Crawford. Bud's power is underrated, but I see the fight like the Jeff Horn in which he always tag Horn coming in.

And this is what happen in this fight, yes, Porter has some moments, but Crawford is just waiting for the right time to counter and score a knock down.
5308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 20, 2021, 09:30:03 PM
~snip~
What do you think about the statement of Kambasos that Lopez was scared of him?
^ That is a part of could it be their marketing plan, throwing such statement to get people interest and can able to support them not even inside the ring. Let us see if where Kambosos it goes, Lopez still have a great experience and I think that is not a reason that Loez will lose at this fight and it seems the fight is near, it should be next week and I hope I can able to see their fight on a live channel or any platform services they have used.
However, do you know a gambling casino that has an alive show one on this event, take note just for free?

Yeah, and he is playing mind games with Teo Lopez. And as the fight gets close, they are in the stage wherein it is a mental game now.

Kambosos though is still a huge underdog in this match so let's see if he really has the tools to beat a good power boxer in Lopez and hope that his chin will hold to, because once Lopez touch that chin, he will feel the power and successful all his plan and strategy will change.
5309  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 20, 2021, 01:56:10 PM
Most likely that was the bottom. If BTC fails to make a new ATH from here then I can see it dipping lower. Many people are holding positions this month because they are expecting that S2F model to come true where Bitcoin will hit $98K and something like $150K next month.

Yeah the expectation that we should be at least in the $89k at the end of the month might not be realised though the way the price is moving.

Also November/dec in the past were always bullish months so many are trading this seasonality. Kind of like Nov 2018 but instead of going up it went down and everybody was caught off guard.

That's the only thing that we are holding for now, if history repeats itself, Nov/Dec should be very bullish for us.

But as far as lowest for this dip, I think we've reached it already at $55k.
5310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVOID THIS CONTRACT AT ALL MEANS.A SCAM BOT. on: November 20, 2021, 01:02:08 PM
This contract address has constantly been creating meme tokens. the owner has been creating new tokens, adds to the exchange and then removing it.
https://bscscan.com/address/0x608756c184a0723077b0c10f97f4d054c9ee1c0f
you should try as much to avoid the tokens being launched here. although it might look like a bot. it is recommended to avoid the address to avoid getting dumped.

Thanks for the warning, yeah there are a lot of scammers right now, and it's obvious because we are in a bull run and they will do everything to dupe people with their hard earn money.

So it's better to really check first the address, and the people behind this address really knows what he is doing. And I do believed that this is compose of certain individuals, who manipulates it as describe by the OP.
5311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 20, 2021, 12:00:06 PM
I already put my bet on the Warriors, not sure if I will cash out, accept few losses and then put it on other games.
Do you mean you put your bet on the Warriors in today's game against the Pistons? As reported, 4 players are out, so maybe this time they won't be able to come back again as the Pistons are very desperate to win and they'll take this opportunity to beat the Warriors without their best player, and the best defensive player in the team.

Honestly even with those people out Pistons are gonna have a tough time beating the Warriors.  I'm not in on the game but if I was I'd still take the Warriors in this o e.  The Pistons are incredibly young and incredibly sloppy.  They are gon a struggle hard this year.

Yeah, it was very close game and it could have been into OT if the Pistons would have make the 3's in the dying seconds. Unfortunately, I didn't cash out early and let my bet goes through.

And obviously, even if the Warriors won the game, it didn't cover the handicap. But it's all good, there's a lot of games that I can recoup that losses, it's just one game.

What was the handicap when you put your bet?

AFAIK, the handicap was -2 Warriors when it was announced that 4 players from the warriors' roster will not play, and that's including Curry.
The Warriors won by 3 points so if you put your bet on the Warriors, you'll still win the spread.

I put my bet a day before the game, so it was -5.5 that time. I think there was no prior announcement yet, if I saw that definitely I will not go that high for a spread. And that -5.5 that time is @1.71 odds (good for a multi-betting).

Nevertheless, it was really close, they could have cover it though if only they could have made a three.
5312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 20, 2021, 10:26:38 AM
Here's the final weigh-in ladies and gents:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNZkQWRYBmY

Both make it to the scale, as usual Showtime Shawn Porter is all smile and very confident while Crawford is very tense. You can see the height difference as well in the face-off.

Goodluck to all bettors!!!
5313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle? on: November 19, 2021, 11:51:58 PM
Just spitballing this idea:

Current basis for btc 4 year cycles is based on the fact that we are assuming movements / time frames with repeat themselves or at least rhyme with the past movements, in stages of exponential highs, correction, accumulation, and continuation. And while those happen, there's no rule that it needs to happen with a similar pace.

I know we are assuming that btc cycle lenght is based on Bitcoin technical FA (halvenings) and that real world events would not affecting the cycle lenght. But Covid 19 just halted nearly everything in this planet for a very long time, so why wouldn't it affect all market cycles with it? Bitcoin wouldn't live in the vacuum when it comes to market conditions.

Well it could have some effects not just on crypto but the whole financial markets.

And then we also have bitcoin's narrative changes as well, institution money flowing like no other bull run before, there are government like El Salvador investing and then some known and unknown companies investing on bitcoin as well as hedge.

So the whole cycle might change not just due to Covid-19. There are so many for bitcoin in the table right now that this could be the first time that we might break the known 4 year cycle.
We will have to wait and see but I think we are close to be able to break away from the 4 year cycle as all the signs are in favor of bitcoin, bitcoin is a store of value and during times of an economic crisis that is caused by too much fiat being printed the most valuable thing for people is a form of money that does not lose value over time.

Gold has been performing this function but there are signs which are indicating that people are preferring to get bitcoin over gold, and this includes investors, so if bitcoin can take a great deal of the people which are interested in protecting their capital then the growth we have been experimenting will continue for a very long time, as the issues we are facing with the high level of inflation will not go away any time soon.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say, maybe we break away from the 4 year cycle this year because of the complete U-turn as I have explain earlier. One thing that can still be in our favour is adoption, as we gets closer and more individuals turn to bitcoin instead of gold, we might see a growth that will make the market somewhat 'stable', thus we will have new cycles on the horizon. This might take years though, but at least this cycle could be a good gauge in the coming future.
5314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 19, 2021, 10:40:20 PM
What do you think? Will he get another MVP award this season?
This is one of the best season of Curry and his performance is superb, not only that, the impact to the team is always good as the Warriors are currently sitting at the top now, so no doubt that Curry could win another MVP award as long as he keeps himself healthy this season.
It's now Curry - 1st, Durant - 2nd, Giannis - 3rd, Jokic - 4th, Doncic - 5th.
A big change from what was expected before the season starts where Luka Doncic was on the top. But I am still waiting for the Luka Magic. He is still there and may need to just step up his game a little bit when he comes back from his ankle injury. Average of triple-double with his points at 20-30 per game. Although, if he really wants to win the Season MVP race, he will need more than that. Because Curry is trying to lengthen the gap between them with his monster games.

Right, it the beginning, or prior to the season, it was Luka who are the favourite to win the MVP awards.

But Curry having another 2 good straight seasons, last year he won the scoring honours, and now it seems that he is again on the way. He already did break Ray Allen's record this early and maybe putting numbers that will be hard to touch in the coming years.

If Steph and the Warriors will maintain this kind of level of playing, then maybe we can see Steph running with MVP this year (although still too early to say). But with the way he is playing, that's already MVP caliber numbers.
5315  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 19, 2021, 10:11:36 PM
It looks like they are friendly in the convention, image for comparison:

So Ilunga is obviously the natural bigger guy, but Canelo is fight this guy in my opinion.

He will be going around 180 lbs, maybe we can see a fat Canelo, or a more muscular here, but I still him having a good chance to bet Ilunga at this division. Reminds of Pacquiao vs Clottey.

I think Ilunga will just turtle up in this fight and get his biggest pay check. It seems that this is being set up by WBC itself.
5316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2021, 09:48:16 PM
Tonight we have a few games and I think that Cleveland can mess up Warriors

I really don't think so, I'll be gong with the Warriors here, the spread is at -9.5 and I'll be taking it, Warriors are the big deal right now, and I don't see an undermanned Cavaliers causing much of a trouble.

I also have an eye for the Clippers ML vs Memphis Grizzlies.

True, I don't think that the Cavs can pull a surprised against the Warriors, unless Steph Curry is not playing. But I don't like the -9.5 though, maybe it's a trap, I don't know. Cleveland is also pretty bang up, but they might want to get this game as close as they can.

I like the Toronto vs Jazz, I think the Jazz might pull this one off against the Raptors.
Although the Cavaliers played a back to back game they are at home now, this team are good at home and their defense is good, so yes, that -9.5 could be a trap, maybe we will see an upset here, who knows.

Curry is questionable to play due to a hip injury (new injury).
https://cavaliersnation.com/2021/11/17/warriors-stephen-curry-questionable-to-play-versus-cavs/

They can rest him of course since the warriors without Curry can handle the Cavs, but the spread is too high to cover.

About the Jazz, I doubt they'll cover that -10.5, Raptors is a good team, so again, we might see an upset as it happen to the Jazz against the Heat and Pacers.

It was reported that Curry will be questionable in that game against the Cavs, but hours before the game Steve Kerr confirmed that he is going to play.

It was almost an upset though, but the -9.5 was covered, thanks to their tenacious defense in the fourth, allowing only 8 points.

Jazz also covered that 10.5 spread for me, yes we both agreed that Raptors are a good team, but the Jazz needed this victory, so keep their winning streak to 2.

I already put my bet on the Warriors, not sure if I will cash out, accept few losses and then put it on other games.

Yep, that's right mate, I didn't see the news because I bet too early. That's why I'm thinking to cash it out right now with few sat lost and then bet on other games that I have a good chance to win.

So what's this, a crossover between lumens and shiba?
Why? What's the point? It  just looks like another moneygrab or scam trying to ride the hype train

Yep, you nail it mate, this is obvious another money grab project. And as much as the OP trying to spin everything, we all know what the people behind are doing.

They are riding with all this meme coin hype, create their own very quick, go to this community and then try to promote it as the next big thing. But experienced members can smell it a far, so hopefully those noobs who read this one will not fall for this trick.
5318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: November 18, 2021, 11:06:48 PM
Isn't it Nepomniachtchi hold the numbers against Nepomniachtchi? So I think it's good to bet on the underdog here. Perhaps I just biased but wanted to see Wesley So agains Carlsen in this years World Championship.

Anyhow, this is a long match. Take note though that as Nepomniachtchi is a Russian, but he won't carry the flag due to WADA sanction on Russia. So instead he will be carrying a neutral FIDE flag.

Man, I am still pissed off about that Bulls game last night.  I was so excited watching during that first half.  Both Lavine and DeRozan were absolutely killing it.  I mean silky smooth shots, great passing etc.  The defense was on point, I don't think Lillard got any points until a goal tending call was made with something like 5mns left in the 2nd quarter.  Then of course the meltdown in the second half and blowing I think was at least an 18pt lead at one point and I believe a 15pt lead at half.  I know the team is new, and it takes time to gel, but man this was a frustrating loss!  Angry

Well Dame started to get his outside shooting going, I know man, I have the Bulls at ML and I also thought that they are on the way on winning that game until that last 7 minutes of the game.

And that's all the matter for Dame, once he got started, it's hard to stop them. Give credit to Lavine and DeRozan again, they carry the Bulls but it's not enough to win against Portland in their homecourt.
