Unfortunately I just found a bug in our chain processing code (not the game code, but the one that stores all the blockchain data for use in our multiple services).
Nothing really major but still needs to be fixed asap, and given the volume of information it is going to take a few hours to do. All bets will be processed once that's done.
Sorry about that, but it really must be done now. Just my luck, I just sent a small bet, hahaha. I can totally understand your reasoning though. Good luck!

I have a full node running but the vps it's hosted on isn't powerful enough to sustain 100+ connections so I won't be able to collect the price. It's still a petty neat idea!
100+ connections are not needed, your nodes has a PIX of 8.5338. All you have to do is register an address. Edit: more here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=952996.0Wait what? I thought their program was only for notes with a thousand connections or more. I'll look into it. Thanks shorena!

Snorek, that's an easy question. Dice websites have already proven themself to be a good way to get people's money. Why try something else? You never know if it works. So people and companies play it safe and create yet another dicing website.
I'm going to try out this website once I get home. Looks different and I like it.

I mostly hang in Amsterdam as that is the closest big city with a Bitcoin life to me.

That was a nice survey and I hope you can use the information I've entered. Can't wait to see the results.

Thank you for stealing my thread design. If you had asked, I would have allowed you to use it.

Around ~12 hours are left until this auction is over!

Double spends are possible, but really hard to do because you would have to send both of them quickly and to two different parts of the network and hope that the seller picks up the one you are going to drop and the miners the one you want to be confirmed. Once a miner has seen a transaction it will reject any address that contains the same inputs. I'm sure DannyHamilton or DeathAndTaxes can explain this a lot better. See this post by DeathAndTaxes for more information about sellers that accept 0 confirmation transactions.

The only thing you can do is contact him and get him to remove or change your trust rating. Trust ratings aren't moderated and nobody can change them (except the person who rated of course).

I'm looking for someone to manage a signature campaign for gebbit.com would you be interested Mitchell? If not I'm also willing to consider other members. Also, it is worth noting I have a low trust rating because I got scammed not because I scammed anyone. Link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=986642.0I'm sorry, I don't manage signature campaigns right now. It costs a lot of time and I just don't have that at the moment. I've removed my negative feedback for now. Let's see how this plays out.

But i have seen plenty of threads on the games and rounds section doing that and they werent deleted. ?? Just because we don't delete it, doesn't mean it is allowed. We can't possibly read everything on this forum, so we will miss things. If you see stuff like that, report it and it will be handled.

I can use my bitcoins on AliExpress, but only because I use my Xapo Debit Card, which is loaded with Bitcoins. However, it would be pretty neat if they added a Bitcoin option.

Hmmmm, a timeline with all the major threads would be a pretty sweet idea. I can't help you with it (sorry), but I would love to see something like this.

Aren't NFC thieves on the rise? Seems like a less secure method then he thought. He doesn't store the private keys directly on the NFC. They are encrypted with BIP38, so that only he can use them. Yes, thieves could steal them if they got near his hands, but they would be useless to them as they don't know the secret passphrase that encrypted the private keys.

Extremely small font engraved onto tiny plate which is placed under your skin!
Embedded chip under the skin that can hold coins and record transactions? This way you know your precious bitcoins are always with you wherever you go Mr. Bitcoin has a NFC chip implanted in his hand that holds his Bitcoin wallet. Hand-implanted NFC chips open this man's bitcoin wallet. He is a fascinating and amazing man.
