5321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / MtGox ticker b0rked on: June 28, 2011, 09:30:22 PM
The Mt. Gox ticker is returning this info:

"buy":17.0099
"last":17.0098
"sell":15.1

How come the sell is so low? It's already been like this for an hour or so. My 3 orders between current price ($17) and $15.10 should've been filled but they are still there. Hmm....
5322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cracked Passwords List Leaked, were you cracked? on: June 28, 2011, 09:18:00 PM
I'm not there. My password was 10 chars long.

Or use an instawallet. When funds make it to the instawallet address, send them to an offline wallet that you have previously set up.

The last one at 21:15 GMT was real, it fulfilled one order of mine.

I'm pretty sure the bids and asks weren't cleared out between 15 and 16.8 two times.

Mine weren't, but that's old news.
5328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, how many of you were hoping the price would fall off a cliff? on: June 27, 2011, 11:23:31 AM
I expected around $11.

I also support the theory "Let's turn this USD into BTC and take them away!".

There's data at bitcoincharts.com!
5332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FirstBits.com - remember and share Bitcoin addresses on: June 26, 2011, 08:49:51 PM
One question, when you put an address that is too short (say 1k) why does not show all the addressed with that first characters? Should you get a warning when your address has the potential of being confused with another one?

The service isn't designed to do that. It returns the first address (as it appeared in the block chain) that starts with "1k", ignoring case.

Instead of ฿ or β, why don't stick with good old B?</irony>

I'm in Spain and I guess it'll take some time for bitcoin to hit the streets, but I'm already prepared for that Grin.
5336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:30:08 PM
LOL, why are there slanted lines on the depth of market chart? Is that because the books are so empty?

I would say so.
5337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:14:20 PM
You don't have to trade to move your bankroll.

If you had USD trapped in MtGox, it's faster and cheaper to wait for the market opening, turn them into BTC and move BTC away than withdrawing the USD directly.

That said tho....really hoping we see another exchange that can rival these volumes.

I'd say only a second gox would make people (including myself) begin to think about it.
5339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 07:49:46 PM
Volume is steadily increasing, seems they're no longer halting the trade.

Feigned or not, I admit my statement wasn't very bright.
