Does seem a little odd to produce a device slower than a good (2 year old) GPU or FPGA device.
Yes I do realise the chips in both ASICs (ASICMINER and Avalon) are slower than a good GPU or FPGA, but the point of them is that there are lots and cost less per MH/s and use less power per MH/s
Connecting 10 devices to a computer via USB is gonna be problematic for some - USB cables need to be good quality and so do the hubs There are a lot of cheap crappy USB hubs out there - especially when the hubs need to supply power to 10 devices ...
It's kinda obvious this isn't designed to connect 10 via USB. Cool gift to a friend, "my first ASIC", etc.

Why don't I just do it myself?
It will also take more than 2 years to get your principal back.

what are you trying to fund with $50 ?
A FPS game

The amazing thing about small products is that you can charge a lot more hashrate wise. People want a cute USB ASIC miner, and even if it's four times the price per MH as other ASIC offerings or what there will still be a lot of people who buy it.

What I think: There isn't any chance at getting the Avalons shipped to someone other than Ian Bakewell. Yifu/Avalon is not going to do it, it's under his name and maybe we have a slight shot if he was scammed, but the 2 Avalons are going to him. Going after him through the police and the legal system (for the loans) is the way to go. In addition, we need to ruin his reputation - wonder if a mod would be willing to change this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=98764.0 to "SCAMMER: Ian Bakewell" as it is the #2 result in google for his name already. Voting a new CEO isn't going to do anything.

Experienced web developers do not charge $40. I'm also dubious of your SEO and web design talents.

I wrote 19 academic articles for my friend (female offcourse) FOR FREE !
And I am a professional that writes for $5 ever 1500 word. Mind providing a sample of some of your work? I find it a little hard to believe your "professional" time is worth a third of a cent per word. It is also generally not very nice to spam other people's posts with your advertising.

I'm surprised that the username meow wasn't taken already.
Also, please don't do paypal trades with people who have no rep. They can chargeback.

I noticed that when purchasing from a merchant using BitPay they give you about 15 minutes to make the payment.
What happens if you happen to be paying right at the peak before a crash?
For example you want to buy a widget for $90, which at the checkout equals 1BTC. However you don't pay for 10 minutes, at which point your 1BTC is only actually equal to $75 due to a flash crash.
Who eats the loss? Does the merchant still get $90, or do they only get $75 or do they refund your 1BTC and say it's no good for the order (or god forbid do they just hold your 1BTC and hope it goes back to $90)?
I am NOT bitpay but..... It is pretty obvious if you use their service to receive USD, you get $75 - 1% deposited to your bank account if that is the invoice amount. Since the price has been rising far more then it is falling on average this would probably make them money long term. This could be upset by bad luck, but on average if BTC keeps rising they probably are not feeling unlucky right now. Nope. BitPay guarantees the rate.

It looks like that Mt Gox is trying to get the price back up through.

Had a question that I'm going to answer here:
Interest payments are prorated. Say that you deposit 10 BTC 12 hours before interest is paid per day. You only get half of the daily interest rate, since your deposit has only being there for half a day.
The next day, you will get the full interest payment.

I'm buying bitcoins for PayPal USD. Send me a PM and we can discuss the price (or /query TradeFortress on IRC)

With everyone coming to place their orders at the same time.. I can't see how this can go well.
