5321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 19, 2020, 03:36:36 PM
It's hope that sustains those who are hodling their coins, without hope that the coin they are holding will give them big profit in the future then there is no use HODLING their coins, it's no easy to HODL for a long time, it's very tempting to sell it when you need money especially in times of pandemic or when you are already in profit and you fear that the market will crash and you will lose your opportunity to make a profit.
5322  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 01:52:40 PM
After 2017 billionaires would have realized that they can make good money in bitcoin and those who had understood its potential to grow in future after that downfall would have invested heavily. And today those who all will look back will be proud of their decision because they would have made a huge money from it easily if had purchased few btc even during 5000$ price as well. Going forward seeing it rose back to almost same levels we would have more such who stayed away to start investing quietly in it.

These billionaires have financial advisers that advise these billionaires where to invest and how to invest, I'm sure they already have Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency on their radar it's just that this particular billionaire announces that he invested 10% of his portfolio in Cryptocurrency, maybe other billionaires have invested more than 10%, Bitcoin is still for the record the best asset to buy in the last ten years and will continue to be.
5323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to KittieFIGHT (KTY) old token holder on: November 19, 2020, 12:35:33 PM
Bounty hunters should immediately stop promoting any project that has a bad report, you are at risk of getting tagged, not getting your rewards, and ruining your reputation I have seen a lot of accounts tagged for promoting scam project, and those who tagged then do not want to take them out immediately, losing your chances to join other bounties, always check the reputation of the project you are joining,KTY with it's many bad reports should be reported and tagged their developers.
5324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: November 19, 2020, 12:11:04 PM
No insurance can cover insurance for gambling loss, because the probability of losing a lot in gambling is very high, a gambler who insured can lose everything the next day, not profitable, if you want to minimize your losses, then minimize what you allocate in gambling, unless you are good in gambling you should allocate what you can afford to lose, gambling is a pure game of luck and it's so rare to be lucky everynight.

5326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 19, 2020, 05:27:05 AM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.

I don't see it happening, even if Ethereum is not performing above expectation it is still going to be the most used token and smart contract in the community and the fee is not always that high, there were times that confirmation and fees are the issue but it resolves itself, remember the days of the KITTY hype, where there were traffic congestion but it did not last, right now the fee is not that high.
5327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith Super Middleweight Title on: November 19, 2020, 03:39:34 AM
Callum Smith is good with his left hook and straight but can can he connect that big left hook and straight punch, knowing that Canelo is very intimitating with his jab and right cross, I'll go for Canelo he has fought a lot of great fighters and conquered all of them Callum will just become another feather in his cap, I still love to see trilogy with GGG, many of us do.
5328  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I suspect that KittieFIGHT is scam on: November 18, 2020, 03:07:12 PM

KittieFIGHT has been receiving questions from the owners of old tokens for several months and so far no announcement has been made in relation to us.

They should address this, they cannot ignore their old token holders, it's tantamount to scamming their investors, if they ignore and left their old token holders, what guaranty that the new token holders that the developer will not do the same thing that they have done to their old token holders, they will lose their reputation right away and they will be marked as scammers.
5329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 18, 2020, 01:47:28 PM
I'm just opening the post in advance.

It's been a long time HODLing, not selling a dime.

It's been worth it.

Cheers guys!

Smiley

Not yet but almost over there, we are as of writing in the $18000 and it seems to continue to climb up and we are not yet on the last month of the year, there's a big possibility that we will eventually reach $20000 before the year's end.
There's a lot of speculation of another all time high, I doubt that two weeks ago but now I'm believing that we can reach another all time high this year.
5330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 18, 2020, 12:49:15 PM

Here is what I want us to discuss.

Since ICO investment is very risky as it depends the new startup whitepaper and the token, how did we know Ethereum would become successful through it ICO?

If Ethereum is to start afresh and do an ICO, why will you invest?

Ethereum is not going to launch an ICO why would they, they just infuse new token or put their token in the market and people are going to buy because of their status and what they've achieved in the industry, everything that Ethereum will do will become a success, even if they are going to shift from proof of work to proof of stake, but I doubt if they are going to do a crowdfunding at this point in time.
5331  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next move of Bitcoin after $17000? on: November 18, 2020, 11:25:31 AM

Now the Question is can we break that 19 hundred dollars this November?if does then maybe we can bring new ATH just before December come.

How I've waited for this lol, hoping 50k is the ATH for this 2020 halving.

I'm glad I'm wrong that I'm thinking that another all time high this year is not possible and save our hopes for next year, I'm very surprised on ow the the market performs it took only 3 days for a big dramatic increase of the price, it's now possible, we can wake up and find out that we are in a new all time high, this is the best week ever after 8 months, now I'm a complete believer.

5333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 18, 2020, 02:21:48 AM
Best way for Europe to oblige casinos helping the Covid victims and the affected people,in this they will be part of government movement in this very bad effect in their country as second to the US of most corona virus infected countries.

That's a good solution to implement, many gambling casinos will give more because it will give their site a good reputation and will attract more gamblers to play, but we all know the government, they always want to be in control of everything and take the credit.
By taxing them and announcing the tax will be used to sustain the fight against CoVid the government will receive praises and recognition.
5334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 18, 2020, 01:30:56 AM

Bitcoin has risen its price from the start, which was $0.08 per coin until now which is $14912.
today, I was reading a post on CoinBazar724.com which was directed from cointelegraph.com saying that BTC may reach to even $17k!!!

Do you think this is possible?

since BTC is not remained too much, some people say it may even reach $100k!!
in this manner, do you think it is worth the risk to buy bitcoin?  Cry

This is one of the prediction that proves to be correct, congratulations to those who bought after reading this post, I am one of them BVitcoin now is looking good at $17,600 and will soon head to $19000 with how the end it is moving.
There is a big probability that it can even surpass, that 5.4% jump $16,714.40 to $17,651.82 is just awesome, it made us think that things like new all time high this year is now possible.
5335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 17, 2020, 11:19:31 PM

I'm looking at ethereum, and some altcoins like nothing has changed. I am afraid that if the bitcoin trend continues the altcoin market will decline. so maybe now is a good time to sell altcoins before that happens.

That's what really happening now Bitcoin is moving up while some of the altcoins I'm holding are not, two altcoin that I want and wish to move forward is UNI and on new coin YOUC, but it's to early to speculate that it will be the trend when Bitcoin hit it's new al time high, I'm hoping that other altcoins especially those that are not in the top 10 will also move forward.
But of course I only want coins that has a good potential, not coins that are considered as pump and dump coin/token.
5336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 10:48:53 PM
I know someone that is working in China for 12 years now who told me that there is a lot of illegal gambling happening in China. He's working in this store and usually, people talk at that store about these illegal gamblings. If this is the case, I agree that they should just let it be legal but as far as I know, they are in the religion of Buddhism so I think it is related to that?

As China policy and laws they do not adhere to religious teaching, they are not banning gambling because of Buddhism they are banning it because their parties created a law for their citizen since the communist party cane into power in 1949, it's surprising that although they ban gambling in mainland China they have a state own gambling casinos in Macau and Chinese citizens have a lot of underground gambling sites.

I agree that there are a lot of money to be made by the government of China, but do they need it since they have already making huge money from commerce, remember they are already a superpower.
5337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 09:10:22 AM

There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

Who's talking? the bag holders the Ripple whales, or the development team, trying to hype their coin which is sliding in it's position, I will not be surprised if Ripple is nowhere to be found in the top 5, they are on the number 4 spot and will soon be overtaken by new coin Polkadot or Binance coin, that will end your dream of Ripple becoming the next Bitcoin in the market.

Do check Bitcoin dominance BTC 64.0% how will Ripple going to surpass Bitcoin with that stat.
5338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: November 16, 2020, 07:04:42 AM
...It was a 5k bet. . That was how my hope of winning 260k bet was dashed. I can never forget that very day in hurry, Sunday 10 Nov.2013

It was not mean to be, this things actually happen to many gamblers, I have a read a news about a first prize lottery winner but unfortunately he did not cash it out because the winning ticket was destroyed when it got wet,

he put in his pocket in his polo and it happen to rain when got out from his office and he is all wet, he just realized that he won because he has a written copy of the ticket he made a bet, but the ticket is unrecognized because it's all wet.

The bettor have made up his mind that it's not meant to be, he has moved so should you, there are a lot of important things in life, not just money.
5339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 06:13:47 AM
Compared 7 years ago we are better companies and individuals can easily create tokens or coins with the introduction of the smart contract, the market is better no win terms of volumes and new coins and tokens with good potential in the market, there are a lot of new coins or tokens in the market and they offer innovations, we are better than years ago and the technology keeps on evolving, moving forward.
Those who made negative impressions on us are now wanting to be part of us, like PayPal and Facebook and many others.
5340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 03:21:52 AM
It's a fact that we cannot go against, the government allow this because they are getting taxes here and gambling casinos have a huge cost to operate, but it's not like we are giving our money for free, of course we have a change to get our money or even win, there are times that gambler beat the house edge the most important thing is we only gamble what we can afford to lose.

It's still a win win situation for all those involve in the industry, the operators, the government and the player this is one of the reason why online and physical gambling is thriving.
