5341  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [DISKUSI] LTO Network - Blockchain Hybrid untuk Alur Kerja B2B Terdesentralisasi on: April 19, 2020, 04:28:33 AM

5342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto sentiment of a kid: How can I improve learning about crypto on: April 18, 2020, 11:15:10 AM
If your goal is to contribute, and code is your thing, maybe try to built a simple program every month. Let's say for example, you want to built a block explorer. A simple one where people can type the tx id and then shows the confirmation status. Work it from there. Find out how you can get data from the blockchain and then output it to the web, do you need to use an API, if so, which one. What knowledge you need to make the project works, learn it. This way, you'll have a clear goal before you start diving in everything.

After you finish your project, improve the difficulty a bit. Now you have a website where people can type and shows the confirmation status, how about adding a feature to see the recommended fee per byte, or showing the priority of this transaction on the mempool like some service did, etc etc. I believe you'll gain lots of knowledge and practical exercise by the time you finish the project.
5343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Bitcoin Sextortion Scam Emails Sent to U.S Users - DON'T PAY on: April 18, 2020, 11:01:42 AM
By the way, this is not sextorsion! I thought this would be an e-mail from someone asking for nudes or in 24hrs a big "bomb" of personal information would be exposed on the internet.

I think this fits the definition from a dict shared above. Are you saying that sextortion is an attempt to get nudes pics/vids from somebody and not anything else?

The question whether watching adult website is a sexual activity is not really important imo. It's a blackmail attempt, that's for sure, regardless of what kind of medium they use to force you.

Let's just hope the address can be identified even though the chance is small so we can catch the perpetrators.
5344  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinEx CET daily repurchase and burning policy better than binance? on: April 18, 2020, 08:26:01 AM
Decrease in supply is only good if something is valuable. If that tokens (or essentially the exchange) is terrible and doesn't have a huge userbase, then the effect would be small.

I believe most people won't buy a token just because it is deflationary anymore. They've grown up and don't fall for petty tricks like this.
5345  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain has not been working for past 2 days even after app update on: April 18, 2020, 07:29:52 AM
If you have your seed/private key then do the suggestions from several members above. If not, and you need to 'log in' into the blockchain to recover your seed/private key, try to use VPN or dnscrypt. I think the problem lies in your network (at least the connection to their server is laggy).
5346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin halving real or just a theory?? on: April 18, 2020, 06:58:04 AM
I checked the original article and I didn't found the conclusion you write on your OP. Maybe you misunderstood their article a bit, on this part:
Quote
Sometime in May, the number of bitcoins (BTC) entering circulation every 10 minutes (known as block rewards) will drop by half, to 6.25 from 12.5. It’s a milestone that’s easy to see coming because it happens every four years and has happened twice before.
Source: https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-halving-explainer

The article doesn't contain any major misleading information about the halving imo. And I don't know how why you ask "theory or real" when in the article it was explained this thing has happened twice already.
5347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 18, 2020, 06:37:58 AM
You should read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222338 (dunno if you search before you create a new thread and didn't found this). Then wait for similar suggestions and discussion pop-up here. After that, lock this thread.
5348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the dream of crazy on: April 18, 2020, 06:25:23 AM
For someone who had more than $1k of crypto, learning how exchange and wallet works is a must. OP, don't trust anyone with your money. Crypto is irreversible. If they fuck you up then that's that.

On top of that, nobody knows what will happen in the future. Manage your funds wisely, don't gamble all your money on something so volatile (you know there have been multiple cases where people do suicide after the 2017 boom). Luck is also a part of this. So, hope your luck is not as bad as the others.
5349  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Share][Diskusi] Legalitas Pembayaran Menggunakan Crypto Beberapa Negara Dunia on: April 18, 2020, 06:13:55 AM
Btw, kenapa klasifikasi aturannya cuma 4?

5350  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [HATI-HATI] Salah Satu Exchange Yang Harus Kamu Hindari on: April 18, 2020, 06:04:19 AM
Apalagi agan sampai nyetor KYC, bahaya banget.

5351  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [LOG]Reputasi on: April 17, 2020, 11:01:27 AM
Khawatirnya malah jadi doxing.
5352  Other / Meta / Re: Where are the notifications? on: April 17, 2020, 10:03:59 AM
Development is on-going since I registered on this forum (the process started way before that iirc). Migrating is not as easy as you think. If something breaks in between then I bet people will complain about this and that. You can contribute by testing it so they could speed it up too. Or make something like Loyce or giammangiato did.

I know it sucks but what else can you do.
5353  Other / Meta / Re: AltCoins Announcements Rules discussions on: April 17, 2020, 09:35:29 AM
I presume you're posting that ad on various coin threads?

Instead of doing that, make your own thread and then post the update here regularly. Things such as "we add new coin" can be posted there. The way you phrase your message is a clear template of ads that prolly belongs to the "other traits of advertisement", especially if you post it here and there.
5354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoin KYC reply on: April 17, 2020, 09:11:51 AM
I imagine they and their partners are using some sort of algorithm to search your name online or crosscheck it on multiple databases, find out how often you do a transaction and how much, etc. That being said, unless your name is explicitly stated on one of those 'political organization', I find it hard to believe they can conclude that you're a person like that just looking at your transaction history (well unless one of the address belongs to the treasury of those organizations).

Things like this are hard to debate as they don't provide the details on how they conclude that you are an exposed person. I'm assuming they do this to protect their source while at the same time give you a headache.
5355  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO NEWBIE] 3 Potensi Penghasilan Tanpa Modal di Dunia Cryptocurrency on: April 17, 2020, 07:06:03 AM

5356  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitforex is Scam! on: April 17, 2020, 06:54:01 AM
They closed all my Tickets, and replied that I violated the rules of trading on MT 5 accounts) I also ask you to note that they canceled not only profit but also the initial deposit!

Even if you violate that rule, I don't think it's their rights to take your funds. Is this on their TOS?

Last time I recall most exchange (at least the reputable one) would send back the deposit money to the address where it comes from after closing the account. But this is straight-up stealing your money using a somewhat debatable offense.
5357  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Purse.io is shutting down on: April 17, 2020, 06:39:44 AM
The explanation doesn't really mean anything (as you'd expect from public relations talk). It's hard to know why they close down at this point, and probably not worth questioning further. Do we have alternatives for this? I never managed to use purse but will probably need something like them later this year if I upgrade my PC.

Also, this June 26 should not be final given how uncertain our current situation is (covid-19) with shipping delays going on.

This is for ongoing withdrawals and orders only btw. As for registration, it is disabled on April 16th. Shop & Earn & open orders will be disabled too on the 23th. Just to make it clear for someone who doesn't have time to read the news.
5358  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Share][Diskusi] Legalitas Pembayaran Menggunakan Crypto Beberapa Negara Dunia on: April 17, 2020, 06:13:39 AM

Btw, kenapa klasifikasi aturannya cuma 4?
5359  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitsprox.pro Exchange Scam or legit ? on: April 16, 2020, 10:17:04 AM
^
I guess their response is understandable. Not all government bodies are taking care of such scams. I think you can report the abuse to the name registrar services and try to take down their website. Though they can simply create a new one. Pursuing or suing them will cost time and money which you probably don't have at this moment.

Btw, if you're sure they're from Spain, maybe try to use the report link from https://www.europol.europa.eu/report-a-crime/report-cybercrime-online.
5360  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Edukasi] Privasi dan Anonimitas Bitcoin on: April 16, 2020, 10:04:38 AM

Kalau sebelum, koin akan dianggap time-out setelah 1 menit.
