5341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is good Mining or bountyhunting on: January 15, 2020, 07:16:42 AM
I have been working on these websites for the last one year but nothing special has happened yet.
bountyhunters.io
bounty0x.io
bountyhive.io
bountyhub.io
And it's very likely nothing will happen this year, the next and many more to come.
Are bountyhunters really making good money?
Btc bounty participants earn a token on the forum for their posts, some pay more than others though, and your idea of "making good money" depends on the country you live in.
Hello friends I would like to know Crypto mining is more profitable or BountyHunting,
Bitcoin mining is more profitable than most bounty projects but Mining(bitcoin)cost is expensive, to set up a mining rig is not quite affordable for everyone and it's even more expensive in some locations, if you have the money and can foot the bills for the electricity and other cost, then you can think about mining. Bounty hunting is just a way of earning little for posting on the forum, and many of us would still post even without it.
5342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways of earning merit. on: January 15, 2020, 05:55:23 AM
1) Take part in contests, for example, in 10th anniversary art contest there were tons merit being given away to participants (their work was good, no doubt on that).
The art contest is over already, and it was productive for many users in: earning merits, developing and showing their skills etc, but who knows when another opportunity like that would come again. I don't think it's a way users should hope to earn merits, probably they'll have to wait for another landmark anniversary, they can just do good works(with effort)on the forum to earn merits, maybe not a ton like the art contest produced, but with time if they double their efforts, the little would add up into a lot(many)
Be a scam hunter or buster and merit will pour in your account.
Users shouldn't want to be scam hunters because they want merits, they should only do so to help the community, and to protect them from losing their cryptocurrencies, merits would then come at the end, but should not be the first aim.
5343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 14, 2020, 08:30:48 PM
Valverde was bullied out of barcelona, perhaps because he doesnt talk much.
His made poor decisions like any other coach, but he has done a fantastic job.
Bullied you say, how was he, he was hired by his employees and they can terminate his appointment as long as all the agreements are met. If he talks much or not, it doesn't affect his job, as long as he's doing his job well, he could be even dumb and Barcelona would not care.

Valverde did not do a fantastic job imo, it is not even about his decision making, he just wasn't the perfect coach for this team, he didn't have their philosophy, Barcelona needed to rediscover themselves and that's why valverde was relieved of his duty as coach.
5344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2020, 07:53:09 AM
VAR or not, it does not make sense, because in Italy, Juventus is the King (unofficial). Then, they often get supports from referees as well as VARs for important moment in matches and decisive period in seasons. At the end, if their competitors are not extremely strong, Juventus will win the title.
I do not believe that juve do get favors from referees or VAR officials, it's not just possible in this modern game, they haven't been dominating the serie A for years now because they get favors, it's because they've been better than the other 19 teams in the league, and it's huge respect to them, painting them as a team that gets favors is not fair, their achievements is due to hardwork.

I'm in support of inter to win the league this season, maybe just because I want to see a different champion in Italy, and it's still very possible, inter are still in the fight/race and there are still many games to go.
5345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Analysis company that trains students to detect cryptocurrency scams on: January 14, 2020, 07:28:08 AM
What surprises me is that, there is no mention of such program in Ciphertrace website. Neither the same can be found in the website of Middlebury Institute in London
I just hope this is a legitimate information, and not scammers trying out another method using the name of this website and institute respectively. I don't know how long they have been working on this, if they actually are, but this attempt to try and investigate and recover cryptocurrencies after they have been stolen may be a difficult endeavour.
I'm personally more for educating the masses as to prevent hackings and scams in the first place; pretty much the "prevention is better than cure" approach.
I second this, prevention is a more feasible idea in preventing crypto scams, as for detecting and recovering them when the deed is already done, that is on a totally different level of difficulty and I don't know how it'll work.
5346  Other / Meta / Re: [mod & admin appreciation] the lack of censorship on this forum is amazing! on: January 14, 2020, 06:28:47 AM
The lack of strict or absolute censorship is amazing, though it to an extent allows trolls to flex their muscles on the forum, but that's part of the fun and the drama, the mods and the admins keep to the rules, and as long as you're not breaking anyone of the rules, your freedom of speech goes unchallenged in the forum.

It would have been an entirely different ball game if theymos was in total control,(you understand what I mean)he allows the forum to run perfectly without much imposition.Since freedom of speech is unimpeded, if you don't like what a user posts you can ignore them, that's why that option was provided.
5347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End to the Craig Wright FUD in less than a month - 3rd Feb 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 04:52:36 AM
Since we all know he is not satoshi, and he isn't going to prove anything, well then it's safe to say that all the lies and deception is all about to end. I do not know why Craig keeps up with this, but it's actually good this stopped, while majority of bitcoiners ignore his fud, there are some who may fall for his lies and be deceived by his fake claims, let's see what his comes up with before the ultimatum date, though it surely wouldn't be anything tangible to prove he's Satoshi, because he is NOT.
5348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 14, 2020, 04:19:00 AM
City can win all the rest trophies (domestically) who cares? But you see the champion league? City aren't champion league material and pep isn't likely to lift that trophy with Manchester city especially with this set of current players. Haven't you noticed, city get inferior (lesser) teams all through the earlier stage of the competition, which makes them look dominating but when it time to face tougher teams or teams with equal strength, they lose since they don't have the experience to win such games unlike the previous winners. Keep calm and watch Liverpool win both major competition with swag lol.
Lol, don't be too sure, it takes time to mature in the Champions League and rightfully so, city have been disappointing in the knock out stages for sometime now, but I have a feeling this season would be different, pep knows it, the epl is all but gone, failing in the Champions League would raise doubts about his managerial career, since it's been a while he won the champions league for himself, it'll also raise doubts about this team, on their ability to compete with the best in Europe, for me city's time may just have come.

As for last season city were the best team in the league, as they finished with the highest points, whether you lose or draw, it's points dropped, for example in a league of ten matches a team that losses once once and draws nine times, aren't better than a team who losses thrice and wins 7.

P.S: City have ruled Manchester for over 8 seasons now, as it stands Manchester is blue, when we talk about the present.
5349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 13, 2020, 09:13:34 PM
Interesting fact that Valverde is first sacked Barca manager since Van Gaal who was sacked in 2003. It's common thing nowadays.
I'm guessing that's why the Barcelona board have stuck with valverde this long, despite the fans calling for his dismissal for a long time now, the team was moving backwards under valverde, Barcelona don't play their usual style with him in charge, they do not quite like to sack coaches, and at least not even mid season, but right now, nothing but this will do.

Whoever the new manager is, he'll be under a little pressure, he has to try and bring back what the fans have been missing for a while now, he has to get it right, Barcelona cannot start the business of hiring and firing coaches.
5350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be a victim of second scam. on: January 13, 2020, 08:44:50 PM
It's good for newbies to understand how impossible it is for them to recover their cryptocurrencies once the scammers have taken it away, some are still new and may think of crypto as a centralized system where you can report scammers and get them tried before the law and recover funds, it's understandable in their case and they need to do more reading to understand how things work.

But those I'm unsympathetic towards are those who fall for the same type of scam multiple times, you were ridded off your funds in a fake giveaway and few weeks later you're sending out funds in another giveaway, that's just stupid and sheer avarice.
5351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 13, 2020, 08:09:15 PM
Leicester is a club with a winning mentality so they'll definitely bounce back from the defeats that have been coming their way of recent  Manchester city are currently in the second position but that won't last long considering Leicester get back on form and keep winning while City just keep disappointing as usual.
That's a very unfair statement directed at Manchester city, Liverpool may be running away with the title this season, but what pep and his team have done in the last two seasons is beautiful and really incredible.
They have not been too consistent this season, due to the injuries suffered in defense, they've had to play with a midfielder(fernandinho)in defense for nearly the entire season, sometimes even with two midfielders.(Rodri has played there a couple of times too) I love the team and peps desire to always win, there's is no way Leicester is finishing above city this season.

City could still have a wonderful season, there is the Uefa champions league, the fa cup and the carabao cup which they already have one leg in the final(after beating united 3 1 in the first leg of the semi final at Old Trafford)
5352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [NEED ADVICE] Which is most likely does not exist on: January 13, 2020, 01:32:22 PM
If what you need the money for is a life threatening issue, then you have no option but  to take a loan from the bank, friends, relatives, business partners, spouse etc, if you're looking for someone to hire you based on your skills, you wouldn't earn that much and the whole process(interview, assessment of your skills)before you get hired may not be in tandem with your 3 days ultimatum.
Unless you're willing to do risky or degrading jobs
Risky jobs, theft in particular seems to be the way people seek easy money this days, and no matter the condition, that's never something anyone should even think of, it has damning consequences.

5354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Tezos in 2020 on: January 13, 2020, 12:37:25 PM
Well!! Did you know? Stellar is performing really well in the crypto space, several crypto experts assume the stellar price will rise high in the coming next months, and gives good returns on investments.

Here: https://coinpedia.org/information/stellar-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
You posted almost exactly the same thing about stellar coin some days back, and I do not understand if this is a method of advertisement or if it's about your curiosity to invest in the coins you post on, if you're looking at their performance in just a short time to base your assessment of "performing really well" you may then just be making a wrong investment.

You can DYOR, this same threads with the same pattern and response is not helping anyone, not even yourself if you are really interested in trading or investing.

Aston Villa are getting sexually assaulted here, 3-0 down to Man City after 30 mins & they’re playing at home.
Lol, city are really on fire, Villa can't even find a way out of the front of their 18 yard box, and I'm sure they cannot wait to hear the half time whistle. Mahrez has improved a lot in the past couple of weeks, very clever player, showed that the way he took his first goal today, so clinical. Now I think all villa can do is try to stop a 5 or 6 nil hammering, that would destroy their confidence as they struggle to get out of the drop zone.
5356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 12, 2020, 12:38:37 PM
A new record will be won by Liverpool this season with an unbeaten team.
This is very much possible, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed till it happens, there are still games to come and they may lose soon or maybe when it becomes mathematically impossible for any team to reach them, those games left could be really tricky games, when you know you're already champions, It takes the sting out of your game, well because a loss wouldn't mean anything then, so for winning the epl, it's definitely sure they will, but going unbeaten, we have to wait and see.

City have the chance to go above Leicester today, the last time they had this opportunity, they went on to lose, we'll see if Aston Villa can serve them the very same medicine wolves did that time.

Bitcoins prices is not even near it's peak and we are not in any bull run, I don't think anyone would be rushing in to buy because of a bull run, because imo there is none, BTC price is at 8000+ this morning.

Do they have to do any research at all, if they are to buy now, it may not be a bad time to do so, if they are going to be hodlers, patient ones, then they will get ROI in the end. Were they should do much research on or maybe not even go to is with this scam altcoins and icos
5358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cool Forum Facts that Maybe you didn't know about Bitcointalk Forum. on: January 12, 2020, 07:36:51 AM
If one is a scammer and send display name change request to admin, he will never accept it.
Not being a scammer isn't even enough to get that request accepted, I think it's based on a "valid" reason to request for a name change, and it's theymos who decides on the "validity" of the reasons the user will give, but from my perspective it must be based on security reasons, probably when signing up the users didn't care about it then, but now, having an established account on the forum they would not love to share the same username with all their online/sicial media accounts. Theymos would be more likely to grant that request based on that than just for the fun of a name change.
I know some here knows these already but I assume some or few high rank doesn't.
The idea and the thread is good, but the facts you've posted about are not hard for users who are active on the forum and also read to know on, I believe things that have to do with "did you know" should really be something many didn't know about.
5359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware: Black Hat team working at BitcoinTalk to mislead newcomers. MalwareChain on: January 12, 2020, 07:18:14 AM
That's why any project who hired such ann bumping service should not be trusted, and people must stay away from joining or participating them in any way.
They shouldn't even be trusted with an amount lesser than a cent, they are not being honest when a project bumps it's own thread. sometimes its really easy to know when a project is a scam and just takes a more closer look into how they operate, it's not really easy to hide behind shady or dishonest activities.
It is quite so disgusting to see people who are getting to be so professional in churning out so many scam projects victimizing people who are just looking for ways to earn more out of their hard-earned money.
The people who invest in this projects may not be doing themselves any favors if they continue, or are they trying to just make easy money, well that's so it seems to them(but they continue to lose), they must have been updated with the information that almost all this ICO projects are scams, why are users still then investing.
5360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 11, 2020, 03:39:19 PM
The match ended in a draw. Pretty good results for Arsenal because since the 67th minute they played with 10 players after their captain was hit by a red card.
I don't think it's too much of a good result for Arsenal, this was an opportunity to build on their victory against Manchester United, now this draw has Arteta under a little pressure with just one win in over four premier league games, he's yet to get his "own" team and buy players of his choice, but for now he has to find a way to start winning with the players he has at the moment.

Over to our late kick off for today, I have actually just placed a bet on Tottenham to win against Liverpool, I know it'll be a difficult one, but Mourinho knows how to win games of this nature, Spurs to win and both teams to score is my prediction.
