5341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My journey on December 2019 (Nothing is impossible) on: January 04, 2020, 01:04:39 PM
  • The sentences have a correct grammatical function and written in proper punctuation.
  • The paragraphs are made in the right order, from opening to closing.
Punctuations, proper paragraphing, grammar, lexical proficiency etc are all of additional benefits to a user, it definitely makes whatever you write appealing to readers and makes it easily understandable and appreciated.
But even if you do not have an impeccable command of the English language, it's never a barrier or a hinderance, as long as you can write out what anyone with even a primary school education can understand, then you can operate on the forum without any barrier whatsoever.

I have given you quite a few merits if think, and I'm sure you'll earn more from me as long as you continue doing good on the forum as you have been doing for weeks now.
5342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Beware}:Fake Elon Musk giveaway and how someone fall for the trick on: January 04, 2020, 10:07:18 AM
Can it be anything more than just greed, there are some scams that are probably more difficult to detect than some, but the moment it comes to send X to receive Y, anyone who falls for that was just trying to ride their luck and double their money quickly, even though their heart must have muttered to them of how impossible it is. How can a giveaway still request for you to give to them first, what then makes it a giveaway  Huh
I feel sorry for that person who falls in that fake giveaway.
TBH, I don't!

Eriksen has informed the Tottenham board that he wishes to leave in January, and there’re only two teams that can currently purchase him one is Manchester United and second is Inter Milan.
I do not think Spurs will be eager to sell one of their best talents in Eriksen to a premier league team(Manchester united), that will just be strengthening their fellow premier league rival, and spurs really know how to do business, so they will know better.

Now the deal must be wrapped up this January, the more it lingers, the more the possibility of Eriksen going out for free becomes possible, he'll be a huge addition to conte's inter Milan as they chase the seria A title after so many years drought, but imo I do but think Eriksen will suit their style of play(every player is bound to adapt anyway).
5344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 03, 2020, 05:39:24 AM
The invincible liverpool would get a real test on 12th January on the next league away match at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium,
If Tottenham continue playing the way they have been doing in their last games, then this one wouldn't even be any test for Liverpool, Spurs must improve their game all round to take anything from that game. The only thing spurs fans can hold on to in that game is the fact that Mourinho is usually a tactical genius in this sort of games, and he would be scratching his head on what tactics to use in order to stop Liverpool, he usually comes up with something, let's see if he does.
That's 37th unbeaten for liverpool , 12 more to go to beat the invincible arsenal.
This is really unbelievable, klopp is building one of the best teams in premier league history, and if they can achieve the feat of going 49 games unbeaten, then they themselves have created their own history, up next is Spurs, let's see if they can stop them.
5345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex Barclays exec starts fiat/Bitcoin bank. on: January 02, 2020, 07:57:42 PM
I do not know if we bitcoin enthusiasts are to be excited about this news, I don't really think bitcoin was ever designed to be kept or saved in a bank, that a is centralized system imo, we are supposed to be in total control of our funds, that is why we use a bitcoin wallet and not a bank.
5346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 02, 2020, 04:50:03 PM
Manchester United are the worse team in the EPL, it's quite surprising to see that when when their competitors vying for the Champions League slots next season seems to drop points
That's quite an exaggeration, and Manchester United are in 5th place and are just five points behind 4th place Chelsea, that isn't too far behind for them or irrecoverable in their battle for a top four slot, they are still well in it, even though I personally do not think they'll make it into the top four(there are still a lot of games and a whole lot could happen though).
I have no doubt Liverpool today because they keep trying to set an unbeaten record,
Liverpool are favorites against any team in the epl this season, except maybe city when it's at the etihad. Sheffield are a good side, I'll love to see their approach in this game, defend and try to hit on the break, or be bold and just play their game.

Can we now have Good Reports but threads like this won't get deleted or its just a misclicked?
I do not know exactly what happened there, but from what I could think of, it may be a repetitive thread and leaving it open would just create so much spam replies, but the thread may be a good read, so locking it is probably the best option as it'll still be open for users to read, but locked to prevent spam.
5348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 02, 2020, 01:56:16 PM
But one thing that is very sure about haaland move to Dortmund... in the next two years or three, he'll signed for Bayern munich with crazy amount of money involved..
Looking at the way Bayern Munich have bought players from their rival Dortmund in the past, then I wouldn't be ruling this one out from happening, though if Dortmund are smart enough, they'll stop selling their star players to their rivals, how can they compete if they keep doing that.

However the cause of Haalands decision to move to Bourussia Dortmund is, the fact remains that he is now officially their player, and I just hope all the hype/media attention surrounding him wouldn't affect him, the boy has got some talent, so let's get over the transfer/dad/agent fee and see how quickly he'll adapt in Germany and how well his game will improve at Dortmund.
5349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 01, 2020, 09:50:15 PM
I was thinking a new club with new manager can usually get good results, so it seems Everton might get a good game from this.
Well they didn't, I watched the game and city imo dominated this match from start to finish, except probably in the last ten minutes or so, after Bravo gave the ball away and Everton pulled one back, they put city under a little bit of pressure after that, but they were never decisive to grab an equalizer. Well that leaves Carlo Ancelloti with his first epl defeat on his return back.

Arsenal are leading united 2 nil, Arteta is on his way to his first win as Arsenal manager and it's indeed a big win for the young manager, I hope he can build on this as Arsenal seek to come up the table.
5350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ★★ try to build your own ID without worrying about the bounty or the signature c on: January 01, 2020, 09:16:46 PM
Yes, OP needs to improve the quality of his English for effective communication, the forum has helped many users on that and with s little effort OP can be one among the long list.

More importantly for OP to understand is that it's better advising others on what to do, to become good forum members when you have achieved something for yourself on the forum. When you have contributed to the forum in one way or the other and you try to educate others, it's appreciated, but when you have not, you wouldn't be taken seriously.
5351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Rank Up on: January 01, 2020, 09:43:06 AM
Talk about The-devil Grin
You're already ripe for the member rank, you're just held back now by the required activities, so it's just a matter of time before you achieve that also, and with the good speed at which you're moving on the forum, you'll become a full member soon enough.

Congratulations, and do not slow down on your efforts, do not get complacent,do not rest on your laurels, just keep doing what you're doing right now and even more.
5352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Welcome to 2020, Lets set the goals to achieve this year. on: January 01, 2020, 06:51:14 AM
As we go about writing out our goals, let us also not forget that they wouldn't be achieved if you do not work for it, it's not about declaring them, it's about doing so and putting something close to a hundred percent effort to make sure that they all come to fruition at the end of the year, or maybe fee months to the end.
my 2020 goals
1) Firstly on real life matters, I'm in my final year in the university, so I hope to successfully graduate this year, and also complete my research project work, which I made numerous references to the bitcoin/blockchain technology
2) I'll also hope to rank up to senior member, and maybe hero member before the year runs out
3) I will definitely take few steps into day trading, I'm somewhat a hundred percent hodler, I'll try out other options, wisely though.
4) Lastly, I just want to enjoy another 365 days on bitcointalk forum, a really wonderful place to be in.
5353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system on: January 01, 2020, 06:09:23 AM
You have any ideas?
I'm not really good in creating a website(though I'll make enquiries)but I can also help in other ways. How about starting a new thread, you could probably get a forum user who can get this problem solved, don't you think.
5354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system on: December 31, 2019, 11:01:48 PM
I have been thinking for a while that it would be fun, and possibly even productively educational, to create a big online test/quiz about all of the various systems, etiquette, and history of Bitcointalk.
It will indeed be fun, and it will be a nice test on who really has in depth knowledge of some of the policies used in and around the forum, and also it would trigger users to find out more than they already know about the history of the forum.
I'm sure there will be a lot of high ranked users that'll be willing to assist you in this, coming up with possible questions is one way they can be of help, giving out merits to users who performed excellently is another way, etc.
especially if many users would be interested in submitting questions/answers multiple choice style to get a wide range of questions..
I'm sure they will, it all sounds interesting, so why not. Happy new year to you mate.
5355  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: December 31, 2019, 06:10:14 PM
Op is maybe getting too excited about the next halving, you must understand that things may not also go quite as smooth as you're envisioning it, if you're investing, you must still be wise enough as to prepare for both sides of the coin: if it's a profit or a loss.

I wouldn't be holding forever, and I hope no one holds forever, we all should have an opportunity to have to make some profits from our investments and use them for our daily benefits at least when we're still alive  Grin. Happy new year to everyone by the way.
5356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 31, 2019, 08:49:23 AM
Abraham deserves the credit here.
He deserves credit not just for that goal, but for his contributions to Chelsea this season, that's his 13th epl goal of the season if i am not mistaken, so many didn't even expect him to hit double figure let alone score that much in just the first half of the season. At the start of this season Giroud probably thought he'll be Chelsea's main man upfront, but Tammy's form is doing well to keep him on the bench, I would not be surprised if Giroud leaves this January.
After losing to Chelsea this week Arsenal will face their heavy team this week with Manchester United getting hit even more for Arsenal.
Arteta is having a tough run of fixtures, it'd have been better for him facing weaker teams at least in his fist few games. Losing to Manchester United would leave him with 1 point out of a possible nine, that'll be a really bad start for him, he needs to do business in the transfer market starting next month.
5357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit Giveaway]Provide A Link Of Your Post That You Think It Deserves A Merit! on: December 31, 2019, 07:31:22 AM
Thanks, buddy. Reward received. By the way, I am interested to provide Merit giveaway as well...
Merit giveaways are good and AFAIK aren't frowned at, but for you to start a giveaway, you need to be a user with quite a lot of smerits or best a merit source, you've been doing very well lately on the forum I must say, and it's great. You've earned 55 merits, that should give you about 27 smerits to give out, but you've sent out about 13 in the last 120 days(which is really good), that leaves you with less than 15 smerits, I'll advice that before you start a merit giveaway, make sure to have at least sufficient amount of smerits, it'll encourage many users to participate.

@Nakamura12, I made this topic few days back: Possible red tag offences if you aren't out of smerits, you can review it.
5358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for partner starting bitcoin farm on: December 31, 2019, 06:29:52 AM
OP you need to be careful, if you really have that amount and want to start a company as you claim, you wouldn't want just anyone to pm you on it, because for sure more than half the people you'll receive pm's from will be scammers.
Also users should be careful when someone comes up with this kind of story, majority of the times, they turn out to be the scammers themselves.

If you want to start a company or whatever, why dont you talk to a lawyer, or maybe a business owner, family members etc, not any random person on this forum you don't even know the part of the world they are in
5359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 30, 2019, 07:01:38 PM
It also seems that Bitcoin is being collected by the rich, or at least those with spare cash to build an investment portfolio. All this moves it away from the people for daily use.
I get your point, but its not necessarily drifting into the hands of the rich, every and anyone who earns something in real life, no matter how little can have an investment portfolio, for sure some portfolios are hell fatter than others, and some will just grow out of satoshi's till its something reasonable, but the honest fact still remains that anyone can benefit from it, it's just a matter of patience, and starting, no matter how small the start seems at the beginning.
5360  Other / Meta / Re: Reducing (removing) airdropped merits for those who didn't earn 1 single merit on: December 30, 2019, 05:09:26 PM
I intended to use them in the Romanian board, in a merit giveaway topic.
I don't quite fancy hoarding smerits to distribute them to a particular board via a giveaway(do not take my word for it, you can do what you wish with your Smerits), but for the love of God if everyone hoarded their smerits and saved them for giveaways on some boards then you wouldn't even have any smerits for your own giveaway on the Romanian board.
