just watched an incredible documentation about john lennon and his time in the US.
(after watching "The day the world stood still" )

People like him give me hope that it isn't over yet for humanity. We humans have the power to change, to decide for ourself that we can live in peace and love with each other and nature.

Great insight to infer mbs program to a tend towards owning all land.. However as all suuply is dried up and becomes unaffordable the whole country will default.. Why would the govt have incentive to do this? Or is it judt s byproduct of a malfunctioning system nearing its end? Its like askmg miners to collude so they can double spend.. Theres no incentive to break the network?

Is buying the mbs somehow a way to foot the bill for the interest on the outstanding loans via printing paper through selling treasury notes?

I think this inevitably leads to more and more assets get defaulted and bought up by the banks, and they might rent those house to you later and become the land lord of the whole country

Treasury note is just another name of debt, banks only buy debts nowadays (with money out of thin air), and eventually the whole country will be the debt slave of banks

This is not what happens.  If you default your mortgage the bank takes possesion of your house but if the market is down they eat the loss.  Banks don't want to sit in an inventory of houses nobody wants to buy.  Often they'll sell it at auction at loss.

Banks don't want debt slaves they want a booming economy where they can create more loans

you should read up some more about the 2008 housing bubble, i think it will clear up a lot of things for you!

5344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Time Travel Kill Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2015, 12:55:57 AM
Sure, time travel could kill. Imagine I could go back to the time when your mom was a teenager, and drive over her with a truck. You'd be no more.

time travel paradox

solution: multiverse

answer: in a multiverse basically everything would be possible, the different timeline you went back too could/would develop completely differently then your original timeline. so might be possible you went back in time and btc will be worthless after you bought alot  Cry

5347  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC increasing because of an attack on FIAT based wallet accounts, $350M stolen on: February 15, 2015, 02:58:20 AM
over 100 banks in 30 nations, we talking about the US, Europe, Japan, China, Russia.
some banks had $10 million transaction limits, they got robbed several times lol.
if the report is right and this operation is going on for nearly 2 years now - i bet it is more then 300 millions....

/edit

interesting though if some money went into crypto?
they could basically transfer the money everywhere they wanted.
5348  Economy / Speculation / Re: New fake rally has to be a China pump on: February 14, 2015, 07:50:14 PM
Right now is the biggest profit are ever going to make on bitcoin, sell or short. This is the very top. It will never be higher again. Next up is a huge dump, then decline to $100 or possibly even below before some stabilisation.

LOL
Saying that while registered since 2010.

5352  Other / Politics & Society / Re: C.I.A. Estimates 20 thousand to 30 thousand Foreign Fighters Flooded Into Syria on: February 13, 2015, 02:51:19 AM
Unfortunately, it is the brutality of ISIS which seems to have attracted these foreign fighters.
That and money. ISIS are savages, so they will always attract sociopaths. There aren't many places or societies in the world, that will not only allow you to kill a bound hostage, but also praise you for it and even pay you.

These middle-eastern groups seem to have an endless supply of oil money.

because they have their own oil fields in iraq and syria - they sell the usually unrefined oil to assad, turkey and some states of the EU.
And well, from there it probaly can go pretty much everywhere...

tbh the chances are high that assad is more or less actively supporting isis as leverage against the west.
and turkey with there pretty much neutral stance doesnt help much either as one of the biggest players in that area.

also this is only a part of their finance; they get money from human trafficking, exortion, kidnapping, donation.
in big areas they are already acting as government, providing people with water/electricity, taking taxes; actual numbers say they control an area with more then 2 million inhabitants.
the situation is super bad and i dont see a solution without the use of ground force.

5353  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Aid money for development projects in Nepal linked to child labour on: February 12, 2015, 07:39:38 PM
Well at least that child has a job now. Don't make the mistake of imposing your values on those of other countries.
Just because you give them money doesn't mean that have to do everything the Western way!

people like you makes me sad being a human

Sorry this is wrong thread but WTF has happened to XC?! Its almost disappeared..

Where are any XC discussions - is it still just on "slack"

Cannot believe what seems to have happened here, complete and utter loss of focus...

Yes, most of the discussion re: XC has been taking place on Slack.

PM me with an email address if you need an invite.

I would mate, and thanks for the option, but I dont want to encourage it, I think its a terrible idea....

I second this.

I agree with this as well...

I don't think average occasional investor joe wants to have another account tied to his email address. Things aren't looking good for crypto in the public eye and the average person doesn't trust or understand it enough.  Most would probably just turn and go somewhere else.

I am one who holds long term, but I just don't have enough time to stay on top of it all.  Recently, I've only had about 30 minutes a week to spend on crypto, and I have to split that time between all the coins that I have.  It would be nice to spend a lot more time researching and collaborating with different communities, but there isn't just enough time... I'm sure that I'm not the only one in this position.

Ease of access to info should be looked into by your team.  For example... go to XCupdates.com and bang, you have updates from the team and a read only copy of the slack postings for everyone to see...

The irony of complaints like this are that you need an email to sign up and post here. Do you not?

I didn't find it difficult to join slack and bookmark it with the rest of my crypto accounts.

Thats wrong. You dont need a working mail to register here. But thats kinda offtopic...

Tbh would be nice to see more updates about blocknet here.
im watching since the ico and there is basically only a handful updates at most.
5356  Other / Meta / Re: Just noticed I had negative trust while I've never traded with anyone here on: February 10, 2015, 11:37:18 AM
yeah thats trusted feedback.
i think this feedback is 100% wrong!
self-moderate says it all - if you dont like dont post, but it is the choice of the OP if he wants to delete a post or not.
5357  Other / Off-topic / Re: HAVE YOU STAYED AT "AUSCHWITZ" WHERE APPROX 1.1 MILLION JEWS GOT KILLED ? on: February 09, 2015, 04:26:47 PM
Well yes. Was there and in dachau.
it is not unusual for german schools to visit a KZ as a history hour.
in my schooltime we visited kz dachau for example.
and yeah its really fucked up what happened their - makes you really question society and to what it evolved
