5341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain to be used to verifiy authenticity of Nike Shoes on: July 06, 2020, 11:12:49 PM
The  shoes are making by Chase Shiel. Those Customizer Sneakers have fare often a better desgin than the designs from the original brand.
Here is the shoe with traceability: https://chaseshiel.com/products/am1-cherry
But I cannot find anything at the website what indicates to Vechain. Which is a pity, because how will the customers know?
I'm sorry for responding late here,

Quote
Finishing off with the detailing. The tongue has an embroidery tag of the triple flavour ice cream in a cone, embedded inside the tongue is the VeChain authentication chip. Chocolate leather lines the inside with a waffle print insole. The ‘Cherry on top’ (or heel) feature is a cherry motif embroidery.

https://www.thekickzstand.com.au/sneakers/2020/06/air-max-1-cherry/

So if you have bought the shoes, there will be a chip inside that will authenticate it in the VeChain network. So this chip is encrypted containing that unique ID to say that your shoes is really real and not fake. And to authenticate it, you need to download VeChain apps on your phone.

5342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 06, 2020, 10:48:19 PM
It's good that governments are stepping up the plate, just like what I reported here, Nigerian SEC warns about iBSmartify investment. And Philippines, starting to be one of safe haven for crypto and very open and welcome to its idea are really doing good by trying to curb out this kind of illegal crypto schemes in the country. I still remember that there was also a huge ponzi scheme busted early 2019, netting billions of Philippine Peso. But at least today, there are giving warnings already before investors fall for this trap.
5343  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has been a colleague of Pablo Escobar! on: July 06, 2020, 10:25:29 PM
A nice story out there but it doesn't have enough "meat" to support the theory.  Anyone can create a story but providing facts and evidence is the hard one.  It is like a person's word against the other on claiming a Bitcoin address without  signing a message using that address.  Grin
Who's next? El Chapo? Lol. CSW already made a bold claim to be Satoshi himself, but up to now he has proof anything to lay on his claim to be the main. And then we hear someone from the other side, saying that Escobar knew Satoshi? Then we should ask CSW if he know back then who Escobar is. On the bright side though, it just echo has Satoshi is today, famous and legendary because everyone wanted to be his colleague or friend.
5344  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: July 06, 2020, 10:05:15 PM
As long as there are regulation for public production and mass consumption of cannabis then why not? I think in paper it is really good to see and trace everything and if it is written in blockchain as it is immutable. Most industries are also moving to blockchain to help them in the same process of tracing, example, pharma and other drug companies. It's just a question on how they are really going to utilized this latest technology to make their process much easier for them.
5345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 06, 2020, 09:26:46 PM
lol i iive in las Vegas and yea a lot more people out . Also casinos are open but tons health stuff. But yeah its a casino they need our money lol

They need our money but most importantly is the government would benefit from that through tax collection.
Straight to the point, they need to generate some money and the best source of it is obviously gamblers that are willing to play in this pandemic. It's like "symbiosis", so there is really a relationship.

That's the reason why they still allow the casino to open despite of the increasing number of cases as they want that money to help the economy survive.
It's the process that the government and the people itself needs to go, gamblers are not forced to go to landbase casinos, but they understand everything, the risk, the protocols.

5346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Lost $9,300, Bearish Re-test In Play? on: July 05, 2020, 10:38:18 AM
We are green today, but I don't see any FUD though, it's just that traders are cashing it out and waiting how the market will play. We are still above $9k, indication that we are neither bullish or bearish. We are in the boredom phase, Lol, unless there is break out run this July that will make the market very lively, so let's wait and see.
Same today, the price is now green but only did a small increase of .61% up to this moment. I am not feeling confident that it will continue but it was a good sign nonetheless Cheesy. I haven't heard FUDs as well so we are relieved so far, maybe we just let the whales do their part. But I'm believing that it will not exceed below $9k resistance. Besides, today is only the second day of July so let's chill. Let's wait for more couple of days if it brings blessing or bad omen.
It went as $9100-$9200 range, unfortunately, it succumb to another selling presser, $90xx. And with the unemployment rate in the US climbing and other parts of the globe, it could have affected investors mindset. Of course, as we go along, we might see some good indication that the market could bounce back to $9500-$9600 levels. It's somewhat boring, but who knows, maybe we can see some changes even before the end of this month.
5347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 05, 2020, 10:18:01 AM
I think a good example is SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER 3.0 ♣️ Signature Campaign ✅[FULL]. They have a campaign early 2019, which I'm happy to say that I was part of. And after that campaign, it seems that SWC had enjoy success hosting poker tournaments in this community.
5348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave browser CEO apologizes for automatically adding affiliate links to cryptoc on: July 05, 2020, 09:53:46 AM
Damage has been done already, I don't know what kind of publicity that Brave needs to patch up things with crypto community with this mishaps, and it's really embarrassing and I'm sure they have lost some customers here. I also doubt that they can be forgotten by the community, and as much we appreciate their admittance for their mistakes, they look very suspicious already and it could defeat their purpose to compete with Google, unfortunately.
5349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 05, 2020, 09:17:11 AM

There weren't anyone yet postingg a thread about their tokens lost due to this fake mew, its number of downloads must be just from the dev to test. Its crazy why google store had not screen these app before makin it available for downloads.   If no one yet had lost money, the fake app failed.
Lol, you are a classic example of a crypto enthusiast who doesn't understand how hacks are happening around here. Do you know who this devs are? You shouldn't assume that no one has lost their tokens or their hard earn money until it is too late. The only way to prevent anyone is for Google to really be strict and to take down apps that has been reported multiple times already.
5350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 05, 2020, 08:49:28 AM
Allot of people are making investment in Bitcoin, even with the risks involved. Everybody want to own Bitcoin. Many have half or more than half of their portfolio invested in Bitcoin already, This digital currency is becoming  almost common to all, when everyone owns a Bitcoin who then will care about it as it will be as common and a boring investment.
I don't know where you get your numbers here, and saying that it is becoming almost common to all? We are far from adoption, and we even have minted all the bitcoin, so how can it be a common and boring investment?

I believe this is a treat in the Bitcoin market value, could this actually bring down the market? Or it is a sign for feature increase in the market? Your thoughts are welcome..
This is not a threat but rather the economics and design, not anyone can even own 1 BTC in their lifetime. On the contrary, being a scarce asset similar to gold, the price has the potential to grow overtime.
5351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Success of IEO is all on the exchange on: July 04, 2020, 12:28:40 PM
Do you mean some project needs to get their IEO launch on top tier exchange to get success? Definitely, launching it on a platform like Binance will no doubt gain some traction from investors because of it's reputation. However, there is still the element on how your project is really build, if it has a solid foundation and not just a pump and dump. Also there are also IEO launched on Binance but got de-listed.
5352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 04, 2020, 12:06:33 PM

Honestly this is basically showing how much Lebron cares about JR. Smith and how he values his contribution to the team back in Cavs time as well. Sure he did one amazing and unbelievable mistake but at the same time he was one of the key players that helped them get to that point as well. So in the end if Lebron didn't intervene and asked Lakers organization to not hire him, that could mean that he has forgiven JR for what he did and he thinks that he is more helpful than useless with how many games left in the league. Plus we all know JR and Danny playing together with a decent point guard would mean a lot of shooting and Lebron can be that point guard at any given moment, and they would have a very good defense with that duo as well.
I think Bron's mentality has really matured, I'm sure he value much of JR Smith's contribution than one mistakes he made and it has been forgotten by him. And it will really bring the best of both players, they are comfortably playing along many years, and with Lebron playing point guard and finding JR in transition or even alley-oop passes will be good to see again.
5353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Ethereum Transaction on: July 04, 2020, 11:26:25 AM
It's probably that the ETH wallet itself was compromised. However, the attacker might have a flow in his code that's why you see some weird transactions, fee is high as compare to the amount being transfer. So obviously, the next logical thing to do is not used that wallet anymore, or better yet, check the machine itself, it could have been some virus/malware that can potentially steal more of his crypto. It's good thought that the amount is not the big.
5354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: July 04, 2020, 10:18:24 AM
This is how CSW should proved that he is Satoshi,

Charlie Lee signing into Litecoin Genesis block, proving that he is the creator.

For what price you looking? I see its a stake.com copy but im still interested on this! You have any price in mind?
LOL, are you for real or just a complete troll? Can't you read the post above you? How come you are still interested on a clone stake.com, unless you really wanted to give that scammer your money, so go ahead and be the victim here.
5356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 01:38:53 PM
I once wished that bounty hunters can come together as one to escape the ruined reputations of bounty hunters and the unfair ways we've been treated but I think this can easily be done not by bounty hunters but by bounty managers
How? As much as I hate to say this, bounty hunters are just simply that, hunting project to earn some penny and then move along.

If bounty managers can starts doing screening on new bounty projects scam rate will be limit, for example come face to face with team using video chat and forcing them to do KYC just to confirm they are real, this day many new projects only chat with bounty managers and that's all, I think this is why bounty detective can't figure out that kingcasino scammers are from Nigeria[/b]

Please bounty manager make sure the team you doing a job for are real atleast, don't just take a job through chats only
I think they do, but they don't control everything, they are just a manager, if the project choose to exit scam then they can't do anything about it. Plus their reputation are ruined, how many bounty managers have we seen being tagged already? Many of them.
5357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Motivation on: July 03, 2020, 12:33:59 PM
I guess if you are going to look at what's going to happen to you in the next five years, then I'm sure you will be motivated to reach your goal, regardless if you involved your self in crypto or not. So you have to really look at other ways to generate income and continue to learn. And if I may just add, of course you will falter along the way, but don't get discourage and learn to get up and learn from your mistakes.
5358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Robeisy Ramirez vs Adan Gonzales on: July 03, 2020, 12:15:34 PM

Done betting Cool, use eth instead of btc because of high transaction fee atm on transferring bitcoin.

Unfortunately, the streak has stopped as the Filipino lost his fight against a tall Albert Bell, at 6'0 and obviously take advantage by using his jab to make Mark Bernaldez very uncomfortable in the early going of the fight. And it was a shut out as all the 3 judges score the fight for Bell, 100-90.

https://www.boxingscene.com/albert-bell-easily-boxes-past-mark-bernaldez-decision-win--149928

Not bad on trying to get some luck, that odds was really attractive but it's very clear from the very beginning that Bell has a bigger chance of winning since he is the heavy favorite, if it resulted to an upset, that could have give @bisdak40  a good return of his bet.
Just the breaks of the game mate, @bisdak40 take the risk again, but it didn't went his way. Just another day for a gambler. I haven't seen the fight myself, but just looking at the physical stats on paper, the Filipino is really at a dis-advantage but I'm sure the Filipino warrior mentality and did try his best. Good learning experience for him though. We don't know, we might hear from this Mark Bernaldez in the future.
5359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 03, 2020, 11:39:56 AM
Google needs to step up their shit. I used to frequently crap at Apple for their App Store being super restrictive and for their OS being a "walled garden", but I've recently been advocating for the usage of iPhones for non-tech literate friends and family due to crap like this.

There is no doubt that the iPhone is far better security-wise than an android phone and the same is applicable to the store. I have been using both and found the iPhone far better in security. Almost all apps are payable and that is one of the reasons why people do not fiddle with apps store. Whereas on Google store every app is free and people would download anything just to check how it works.
Well, this is completely up for debate, but I would agree that security wise, Iphone or IOS is far more better specially if we are going to compare it regarding this security. But there are still majority who wanted to used Google so it's really up to them. Specially if they are a crypto enthusiast and suddenly feel a victim for this kind of attacks from cyber criminals. Sometimes you really need to experience this kind of things (although its not good), before realizing which one is better.
5360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 02, 2020, 11:13:42 AM
I don't think there's really a asset that we can call safe-haven to begin with. There is gold, but it also had some ups and downs. As for bitcoin, really depends on how you look at it, of course bitcoin maximalist and fanatics are going to preach how it will be a good hedge in this pandemic. But you have to understand how volatile it is, the risk involved, supply-and-demand scenario, etc. So it's really hard to answer your questions.
