5341  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: January 31, 2017, 01:37:12 PM
Compelling reason I still buy bitcoin is for investment. We can not be denied that the most profitable investment currently is bitcoin. Although prices are stagnant, but I am optimistic bitcoin is going up again. Every month I will buy about $100 from my salary.

Me too I do buy bitcoins for my own investment and that is just for holding and also for trading. And the results are good especially in holding I just don't have to rush with it. Because if I will rush and do panic selling when seeing the price fall then my investment for holding is not going to be worth it and the profit is not going to be maximize.
I totally agree. you will only loss if you sell in low price. Panic selling is for inexperienced traders or holder only. I think the best way is to hold bitcoin until it pick the price to maximized the earning in bitcoin. Don't sell it until it reach the pick price. So for overall longterm investment is a must in holding the bitcoin and to have a large profit maybe in some times you can sell some of your coins but not all.
In terms of the Cryptoworld you are right but in terms of overall investment Bitcoin won't be the best out their. Come one guys Bitcoin's price above 1000$ this January only last for a week, there are other good investments out their outside the Bitcoin world, from Stocks to Preferred Shares even buying a car for Uber can be profitable don't close your doors to other kinds of investments.
5342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing company leaks thousands of credit card numbers on: January 31, 2017, 11:37:22 AM
We can see is its not the users fault but the company. For me Bitcoin users tend to lose their assets (Bitcoin) on their own from being entice with gambling to being blinded by easy money woth so called HYIPs. All we now hope is that they are insured on what they will lose in paying those customers back.
5343  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 31, 2017, 09:58:49 AM
Less supply and high demand of bitcoin in the market will take bitcoin to reach 1000$, and one thing more investers are also play important role in increment of bitcoin's price as they invested their money in bitcoin and more people gain interest and trust and they also invest their money, this will make bitcoin unique in the market and will  increase their price due to high demand.
Exactly, demands of bitcoin really matters on how value of it increases. So like what happened in the opening of the year, the bitcoin reaches thousand because many people bought and hold bitcoin at that moment and one more is the increase of users of bitcoin, the adaptation too.

How we can make supply of bitcoin is less if the mining is always doing by many peoples ? Bitcoin volume is around 21 million bitcoin but for now more half of it was circulated. So i think the supply of bitcoin in the market is equal with demand bitcoin.
Even if half of the Bitcoin is mined already do you think it will have a high demand if all of it is circulated? Have you think of the possibility that a lot of that quantity is being hoarded by Bitcoin users? Of course there are users that hoard Bitcoin because they are waiting for its price to increase before they dump massively again.
5344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 31, 2017, 04:14:45 AM
One thing about cloud mining is only good if you are using the legit services and keeping the mined coins for at least 6 months. If you don't want to use cloud mining then better to mine your self, yes it might not be profitable at current price but think about it what was the price 6 months ago?

There is no good thing in cloud mining they are filthy scams and that's why it is not advisable if someone is going to invest there. I discourage my friends thinking that it is a legit one. Much better to invest into something good like trading but that is not easy as we say that it is a good way to invest because we still need to do some effort for it.
Just invest in gambling sites bankroll than putting your money with cloud mining, you cannot trust them anymore as their reputation in the community is not that good. Investing in gambling sites are one of the trends now, and actually they are profitable and their profit is increasing as the industry is booming.

good idea sir, because so many scam cloud mining that we can see in out side, we need to be careful if we want to make invest, gambling is good choice to invest but the amount is so big and i don't think that people that have less than 1 bitcoin can make invest in gambling because so far, i am not yet found gambling sites that giving a chance to make invest with less than 1 bitcoin or maybe i am missing something here.
Actually not all cloudmining companies are scams the way to prove it is their ROI real cloud mining companies has a return on investment that is longer than 365 days. While other cloudmining companies copy the scheme of HashOcean which is 1.3% per day. Remember you can't predict the real quantity of what you can mine that is why real cloudmining sites take longer for it to profit.
5345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: January 31, 2017, 12:15:01 AM
I don't think there is really a person named Satoshi, but most likely is a real person hiding his/her real identity. He might be now rich because I am sure he is holding a lot of Bitcoin which I know is good for his/her lifetime. Showing the identity of the person will only put their lives endanger because people will start pursuing them.
5346  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 30, 2017, 04:15:40 PM
by 2022? in 6 years?   Hardly so...
by 2030 - yes, very likelly.
by 2050 -  VERY sure. Not even small doubt. FIAT will be found only in the history books by 2050
Bro are you even for real? Or at least thinking about what you are saying? Because it is highly unlikely that our world will be dominated by something that is not controlled by the government. Even in the year 2050 Bitcoin won't run the show. As long as there is a government running a country, cryptocurrency won't be use by anyone. Also not all people in the Earth has access to the internet why would you think Bitcoin will be use by everyone?
5347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 30, 2017, 02:01:28 PM
Well for now you can assume that its quite stable and a worthy option to consider. It will never(not at least in the next 100 years) beat fiat, but surely as the number of users increase, could be the biggest competitor to fiat and even gold(if you talk about investments)
So it sure is going to be quite prosperous in the future, and it is the future of some money, not all of it I feel.

Yes, and there's only 50% 50% percent that bitcoin would be the future of money because the government won't let bitcoin be the future money because it is a poison to them. But, the bitcoin population will continue to grow everyday, and this is the only thing that the government can't prevent. But I think would be the future money here online and people are not going to use fiat anymore just to buy stuffs here in the virtual world, because using bitcoin is more faster and convenient rather that using fiat.
Yes it can't be prevented by the government but what the government can do is to ban Bitcoin permanently if it sees Bitcoin as a threat to their economy. We all know that Bitcoin gives power to the user not the government. And that is what the government is scared of a currency in which they have no power to manipulate. For all I know they won't allow it to happen even in the near future.
5348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: January 30, 2017, 12:43:35 PM
I think Bitcoin shops on either big or small cities are not relevant because you can sell your Bitcoin online on exchanges. Also price won't differ if you sell it on hand or online because they always follow the market price. The only way tou will sell your Bitcoin at a higher price is if the buyer is dumb and actually will buy your overpriced Bitcoin.
5349  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: January 30, 2017, 08:43:08 AM
Since i see many people only care or focus about bitcoin price and they say it's good for bitcoin future. But, of course we know bitcoin is a currency and we need people who use/accept bitcoin as currency.

So, Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase?
Of course, we're NOT talking huge price increase because mass adoption.
Mostly will answer mass adoption because the price will affected and automatically increase,,
We know that, huge price increase cause people sell out again, so better to have slowly increases, step by step and even big whales will manipulate market price, won't affected so badly. Stop giving them what they want by panic sell, at least mass adoption will lead to more stable price.
Well if we think about it this way, what if Bitcoin's price is greater than Gold? Of course the possibility of it having a nedia coverage is big because it has beaten gold in the market than it will be popular to new people. For me we old Bitcoin users will have the advantage of having a huge price increase, we will instantly profit from it because we now know its movement.
5350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: January 30, 2017, 04:07:40 AM
Well Western Union is just a remittance company. People who still use this method either don't have a bank account or a paypal account. Using Western Union will only make you add additional charges while using your Bitcoin Wallet you will send your money Free of Charge to anyone you want to send it to.
5351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Withdraw BTC if underage? on: January 29, 2017, 04:08:48 PM
From what I know even kids can have a Bank account, from there on you can easily withdraw your Bitcoin and convert it to Fiat if your Wallet allows that kind of option. They are the ones who will convert the current price of Bitcoin equal to the Fiat they will send to your Bank Account. It is one of the easy and hassle free ways to convert your Bitcoin.
5352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: January 29, 2017, 02:22:25 PM
As for bitcoin itself, absolutely nothing would happen, as bitcoin's decentralized nature makes a ban very difficult to enforce. There may be a few sheeple that would do as their elite masters told them and stop using it; either out of fear or brainwashing. However, most free thinking individuals who understand how bitcoin works would continue to use it, though, probably taking a few precautions.
in fact those people who know about the importance of bitcoin will always try to use bitcoin. bitcoin is the need of new generation. therefore i do not think that the modern people will be ready to quite using bitcoin. they will even continue using bitcoin if any start consider bitcoin as banned. but i can hope that they will much more think about bitcoin before banning it.
yes we can also hope so. bitcoin is now becoming of the most important part of our life. therefore it is not so easy to bane bitcoin. i think in future government will be thinking about how to legalize bitcoin.
Think of it this way if Bitcoin was banned in all countries who do you still think will accept it? Bitcoin will be useless even to criminals because it will be impossible for them to spend Bitcoin, also no one will be willing to convert Bitcoin to Fiat because it is illegal. Bitcoin won't have a value at all of it is banned everywhere.
5353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: January 29, 2017, 12:30:58 PM
I would tell them that it is just like $ but it is only used in the internet and will soon replace or thrive with $. You can exchange $ to bitcoins by trading 😀
It seems to be the simple way to explain what is bitcoin and how it is getting importance in all forms. If you say this to a person who have a little knowledge about digital currency they'll understand. The same thing to a person who is totally new to bitcoin won't make sense. So based upon the age group they need to be explained.
I think simple explaination is good, they do not need to understand how bitcoin works, they only need to know gow to use and earn it. Just say that bitcoin is money and you can use it to buy something.
Now that is just overstating thing that Bitcoin won't do. Bitcoin will thrive but it won't replace any Fiat currency even in the future it won't. One good reason is the government, it won't allow a currency to be its main currency if they can't control it. They have their own local currency because they know how to control their country's economy  and how they can plan with it. With Bitcoin they will be powerless to do so.
5354  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: January 29, 2017, 11:00:03 AM
When bitcoin prices goes up,when it goes down, when new merchants adopt, when more users discover, in all these circumstances, some people say its dying, its dying.Bitcoin is not dying. Its actually progressing. The only time we could say bitcoin as dying is, when quantum computing breaks the block chain system.Recently economists have proposed that the cost to the system is $40 per transaction which is incredibly high.Anything above $1per transaction is likely more expensive than any solutions. If this cost does not decline faster, then bitcoin usage as a currency will die due to excessive cost.Bitcoin may indeed be dying due to cost of transactions. Many people are still investing in it.So bitcoin is not dead. The block chain technology will live on long after bitcoin as a major currency.
I don't think that Bitcoin is dying for any reason even if the transactions are high. When I read this article about Bitcoin dying it does not reflect on the price of Bitcoin which as of now is 928$  a dying currency will worth nothing on the part of cryptocurrency but if its Fiat it can be valuable to collectors who want to collect rare money. The price proves that Bitcoin is well and alive.
5355  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 29, 2017, 08:37:59 AM
This is an old post but we have seen Bitcoin reach the 1000$, 1100$ to be exact, this 2017 but it only lasted for a few days. We can say that Bitcoin holders push its price to 1100$ and there comes a panic selling that's why it got back down below 1000$ . It all goes down to demand by having more demand we can see that Bitcoin can have a stable price above 1000$
5356  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: January 29, 2017, 02:32:59 AM
Yes of course I always believe in fiat, because since I was a kid fiat its used all over the world like spending on goods, transportation and currency exchange. Bitcoin is my main reason why fiat is very important all the time because earning btc can be converted to a fiat money which is more popular currency, as well as digital currency which only circulated in the blockchain network.

To be honest fiat is a basic necessity of each and every individual at this stage we are using bitcoins and love it as a innovative currency but the fact is bitcoin is dependent on fiat as if we have to spend our bitcoins then we need to convert them to fiat first and we cannot spend our bitcoins directly anywhere for buying anything and I think it will take a long time for bitcoin to get accepted everywhere and till that happens fiat will always remain on the top and the first choice of the people.
That's it, if we believe in bitcoin then we should believe in fiat. Bitcoin is not usable without the help of fiat money, we all live by looking for fiat to have something to spend for our daily survival. Bitcoin might be very successful and we all believe on that of course, that is why we consider it as investment as well. But, never think it's more power than fiat and you will loss your belief because you are too confident about bitcoin.
Yeah to be honest Bitcoin really needs Fiat because without it Bitcoin won't exist in our lives. We still need to convert Bitcoin to Fiat to make our earnings more useful into our world. It still proves that Bitcoin needs Fiat to survive in the world because without it, it will become useless as there is no basis for what Bitcoin is worth.
5357  Economy / Economics / Re: What Would Happen If Bitcoin Were Declared Illegal in the USA? on: January 28, 2017, 04:57:51 PM
It would simply be non-existent to your Country because the government can control everything the onvolves internet related stuff. One good example is torrent sites are being shutdown quickly and illegal doers pay the ultimate prize. Even if they create a dozen proxys of the torrent site a day or two than it will be gone again. Bitcoin will just be a legend in America after that.
5358  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 26, 2017, 05:51:34 PM
How can Bitcoin be used as a money laundering method? As a result, they will be asking for the source of these dollars when we convert our BTCs and transfer my bank account in dollars.

They will ask us how we won these BTCs. Then how we will give they an answer.

chances are they wash the money only for dimpan first, just to get rid of any traces let untraceable anywhere goings
Laundering money with Bitcoin is something that anyone can do. Of course there are many ways for you to have a bank account that will not associate to you. Banks also have the client secrecy in which they are not allowed to put your bank account in to someone's police investigation it is a violation of privacy. Bitcoin can be a tool in money laundering.
5359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 26, 2017, 03:17:21 PM
Maybe, because people need to exchange and history has demonstrated: the exchange of goods, using precious metals, money and digital cash
 Grin Grin Grin
Maybe what you are trying to say is change not exchange? Also history tells us that we change for a development. And the thread specifically ask if Bitcoin will be replace by another cryptocurrency not by other means not related to it. What I know is that even if there are better altcoins out there they will still pick Bitcoin because it is the most widely known among any of them.
5360  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: January 26, 2017, 01:23:52 PM
And some high rolls continues... Leveling up pretty fast Smiley

http://prnt.sc/e0dc7x

Regards,
Alex.

Holy s**t, so brave player to use martingale with big amount. How much is his profit at the end? Hope he will not be greedy to continue the martingale, he should spend his profit for something first before come back.
Congrats to him anyway.

I bet this guy really know what he is doing Smiley see the printscreen at the end?  He end up having 50 BTC profit.  I wonder he continue to bet after gaining 50 BTC.

A martingale approach Cheesy I knew it is handy as long as we know when to stop.
Dont know how to calculate his profits though seeing only the last bets I could say he earn about 25 btc I don't know how much profit he had on previous bets using martingale system. Seeing on the bets he made seems like 1 btc is just like betting 100k satoshi for him as I assume he might own hundreds or thousands of bitcoin since he could able to bet like that big.

I really like when we all "try" to explain how much or how a high-roller thinks... Grin
So, i will state this as a clue. The user starts with all he is got at his account. Approx 16BTC....
He lost them all and ofc he didnt expect that, so he use his wallet and deposit again (10' difference from his "last" 9.36BTC loss).
Only Alex or an admin can verify the deposit Amount and if i am right.... Wink
I am interested in his bet setting. If he lose it will bet instantly until it wins, and if he wins his bet will go back to 10 Bitcoin which is also High. A high roller like this really knows what he is doing because he is confident with his money. That is big money right there and it is quite impressive on what he profit from it.
