5361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 20, 2019, 06:33:12 AM
I think the best case right now is keep going. Look at the price, from 7800 dollars to 9100 dollars it went up small by small and not all in one move which tells you more than the price. If the price moved from 7800 to 9100 all in one day or at most 2 days that would have mean that there was a pump and you could be scared about another dump that would have made someone rich but most people poorer.

However, right now we are seeing the price go up small by small which means there are people who are still willing to pay these prices for bitcoin whereas not as many people willing to sell to these prices, that is why the price will keep continue to go up until the amount of bitcoin people willing to buy equals to amount of bitcoin people are willing to sell for the same price. That doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.
5362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 19, 2019, 05:30:18 PM
The reason they became gamblers or addicted to gambling is the same. They cannot control their emotions and they will fall prey of that intrinsic desire to play more and make more. Making more for the house in turn, obviously.

But they fail to realize that with more bets being placed the more chances of them losing. I have rarely seen gamblers who have cashed out and never played again. All of them come back with that money at one time and play again to lose it. That is why the casinos are a flourishing business in these sectors.
I don’t mean to approach this in a derogatory manner, but truth be told, greedy gamblers do not only lose money enriching casino sites, they also lose their self-respect and happiness and perhaps some even lose their loved ones and it is absurd how it fails to occur to them that the game does not mean well for them.

I think the dynamics of our focus now should be on how there can be an end to gambling entirely because over 80% of gamblers are without self-control and what this implies is that as long as gambling remains, we would continue to breed losers  in the gambling sectors and they would be a threat to their various communities and the world at large.
5363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on: June 19, 2019, 04:04:36 PM
Normally, in these U21 type of games you get to see how there are shifts in change for big countries and small countries. For example some third world country that normally doesn't even have a big chance of world cup could beat some big name team like for example Germany or France and what not whereas when it comes to national teams the difference becomes very big.

I think that only happens because any person under 21 that is not playing on a big team will be capable of playing on these U21 teams and could be potentially same talent level wise whereas training wise none are on a big team.

However, on national teams there are players that is u21 but not playing on u21 because they play on teams like real Madrid or Barcelona and what not which they gather more talent and training as well which makes them better. So playing field is quite leveled in these u21 games and the lower odd teams have big chances to win these games.
5364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to delisted Alt Coins on bittrex, Binance and Poloniex? on: June 19, 2019, 03:24:52 PM
I keep seeing  that exchanges are delisting a lot of ALT Coins, are those projects basically dead? I really like loopring (LRC) but I don't know how well it will do while its banned in the US. Do you guys have any input on this Alt coin ban/delisting? What will you guys do with your coins that are on the chopping list?
Well, if the coin is delisted on ALL exchanges than it is most likely that the coin is basically as good as dead.

However, if you are delisted on just those three that is fine since there are tens of exchanges out there who deal with the small coins that the big exchanges do not care about. Places like idax for example make their profits from keeping the small coins on their roster and making sure they have as many small coins that binance/bittrex/poloniex doesn't list. Those trading fees even if they are 50 bucks a day combined make above a thousand dollars per day for them when they list all small coins and that makes sure they are still profiting and having a good business.

There are many coins that is no longer listed anywhere though, so they are totally dead and will not even return because once you are delisted from every where there is little chance you can come back.
5365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Horizon State working on massive 25-year, $1.5B project in New Zealand on: June 19, 2019, 02:51:36 PM
This is just a showcase of how much blockchain has a use, I mean who would have thought that a blockchain company would be eligible to help a whole nation to rebuild one part of their country. Building new homes and caring about what the residence of that place says and collecting the data to make sure nobodies voice goes unheard, these are all awesome stuff for crypto and blockchain usage.

I didn't even know they existed even though they were working with governments and even a political party but now thanks to their awesome usage of blockchain on rebuilding a big part of our world I know who they are and what they stand for. We need blockchain companies like this all around the world helping minorities to get their voices heard for what they want from the governments.
5366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: June 19, 2019, 02:08:36 PM
It is over the two months now, no update from the OP if he has been able to meet up with his target, or has been improsoned or dead, we still need to know what has happened to OP. I am sure he is still alive though.

lol , why the heck your so eager to know the real status of the op ? we dont even know if this thread that he created is serious or just only a come up story  or what if he is only looking for a solid strategy to earn fast profits  .

btw , 2  months is i think long enough , some can even earn instant profit pofits in a signle day every day but they are skillful enough  . plus not all strategy will work for other people ( as what most people say ) .
@Lawrenzoo is actually right to some extent, and come to think of it, it has actually been two months now that op created this post and I do not want to believe that he is swimming in cell, I am sure that by now, he will rather be swimming in the pool in his house because there are some coins that if he had invested in by then, especially bitcoin, he would probably be outta debt already.

From that time till now, I have used 3 BTC to trade and from then, I have made over $16000 without having to even leverage, although I could get this much because of the several high fluctuations Bitcoin has during those period of time.
5367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 19, 2019, 11:42:23 AM
I am looking for some altcoins to invest, which is profitable in this situation. Theres lot of coins, so i am confused Where to invest. Thanks in advance
Choose altcoin which belongs to the top 10 like ETH, TRX, BTC, etc.. though it does not matter which crypto you choose to invest in, what matters is your strategy and hard work. You must do your research to be able to decide and choose the best coin that suits you.
Choosing projects carefully really matters a lot when investing or trying to make a trade with any of the coins we have in the market, and like you have advised rightly already, there is absolute need for everyone to ensure that a very deep research is made on some of these coins before deciding fully to make them the choice for our trade, because strategy can only work with coins that are reliable.

If you take a look at shitcoins, there is no amount of strategy you can use to make it in it, and if you want to practice the method of buying deep and getting out by selling when they pump, it is not every shitcoins that pump.
5368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a full-time crypto trader, here're my recent trades on: June 19, 2019, 11:19:44 AM
That's interesting. I often watch these signals and the opinion of other experienced traders about a particular coin. I'd like to follow on you, too. You really good, what were able to make crypto trading your only source of income. I also dream to achieve this.
I did not have other opportunities and therefore I also chose to work in the cryptocurrency market as the main source of my income.  If we consider 2016 and 2017, then everything worked out quite well for me.  But today I am practically at the bottom and I don’t know when all my assets will be able to bring me real profit.
There are other people like you that have cryptocurrency as their major source of income for now till further notice, and are not discouraged by the events of 2018 that has kept most of their crypto investment and bounty campaign money at the deepest value they have never seen before, but one single thing I know is that Bull run is coming and some of these coins that you said has bottomed will surely rise and may even rise above your investment in 100x.

It is a chance of 50:50 though, because we have also participated in projects that are already dead and gone while we are still keeping them.
5369  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: June 19, 2019, 10:05:35 AM
I think taking your money away is the biggest weapon people have. Think about it, how much of your money in banks are actually in banks? If everyone in the world who have money in the bank wanted to cash it out on paper what would happen? Banks would collapse and there would be a lot of scams coming into light and banks would be looked like criminals and investors would never reinvest their money.

So, if Hong Kong rich people wanted to withdraw their money from China in bitcoin form they may have to cash out in cash form and buy bitcoins with it (since direct bank is difficult right now) and that would result with China allowing Hong Kong to do whatever they want just to keep those people with money happy with the situation. I would fully support it since it both stops a dictatorship plus hurts banks.
5370  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 19, 2019, 08:50:05 AM
I think the best case scenario would be making it a paper work like the banks do it with their regular loans but also having the governmental back for it as well. Like when I give you bitcoin and expect you to pay it back and than you do not than I have no power of claiming that loan from you.

However, let's say a bank gives you a loan and you refuse to pay it than they come to your door with cops to take away your stuff for a lot cheaper than they worth and sell your items to pay your loan for them. Which means if we can get that type of support for our crytpo loans from the government like giving the lenders cops to go get that money like mafia (which banks are actually mobs) than we can actually issue loans without any problems since it would be easy to reclaim it back.
5371  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: June 19, 2019, 08:18:51 AM
I think stability aside it doesn't threat the fact that we are still digitalizing our current monetary system, me and my wife realized we didn't had any cash today for example, literally zero cash available at our house today, she was going some place where she has to use a parking lot and it was 2 bucks per hour which is not that much and don't get me wrong we have plenty in credit cards and debit cards I can put my car there and keep it there for a whole month without a problem yet in cash we had zero.

She took my debit card to withdraw some so she can pay in cash (parking lot doesn't take card) and that tells you how much we are moving away from cash to digital without crypto anyway. So it is definitely possible that banks are already ready for the crypto revolution more than we think they are.
5372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex coin, why not? on: June 19, 2019, 07:46:53 AM
It would at least have a utility to use unlike many coins out there. The reason why bitcoin is loved by many is that there are many places that accepts bitcoin now which is awesome, people love ethereum because you can do dapps with it and use it on those dapps or you can do ICO with it and fund new coins with it and many other things, people like eos because you get to do dapps with it too, people love bnb because you use it on binance as well.

So, as you can see there are awesome coins that has a "use" for them, if bittrex created their own coin I am sure it would be in top 25 right away or at least will take a bit of time but will reach there. People will always be drawn to coins that have some sort of use for it, a coin you buy and hold until you sell is not liked that much anymore.
5373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB first and only coin to hit all time high! on: June 19, 2019, 07:17:52 AM
I think it will be the first one (it already is) but it will surely not be the only one. There are others that will reach the all time high pretty soon, some of the coins got affected by the bear run of 2018 very badly but some others didn't get affected as bad as the others so it will be possible to break the all time high for them.

However, this doesn't take it away from BNB which was basically recently came out during 2017 peak so they didn't have their peak and only had the bear run so they were affected badly and now they are recovering from it, that is good to see because that shows us that all other coins could basically have the same opportunity soon.

I really want to see altcoins recover as well, just having bitcoin going up will not be enough to make crypto known everywhere again.
5374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: June 18, 2019, 04:10:36 PM
Depends on the trader, some traders do make more money than holders because they find the perfect spot to sell at the top and buy at the bottom because they are good at trading and they know when it hits the top or bottom. However, some traders do not know the difference between a bottom and a fake bottom or a hype vs a dead cat bounce so they mistake everything together while making big losses.

So, when you hold, depending on how long you can hold you will always make profits, you can even buy at the all time high price and eventually that will be passed as well, that is why I honestly think that bitcoin is the holders coin, if you hold too long and everyone joins you there will be less people selling and there will be a finite amount on exchanges which will also increase the price because we all hold as well.
5375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading victims and how to avoid losses on: June 18, 2019, 03:51:04 PM
Margin trading will always have victims, there will be people who put too much leverage on their trading and they will lose because bitcoin is a very volatile currency and it will always go up and down in small numbers when you least expect it, so there is no way of stopping people from losing their money on high leverage.

What you can suggest people is to keep the leverages down if they really want to which I think they don't even need to since bitcoin is already giving you a decent profit on no leverage at all, you can simply have bitcoin and put it on a wallet and wait and you can double your money easily, if you doubt it check out people who bought at 3 thousand levels and now selling about triple that amount. Of course these are the only two options that have less risk but less reward as well so some people won't even listen.
5376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 18, 2019, 03:30:06 PM
I think Chris Pauls contract will create a lot of trouble for rockets in the upcoming seasons, they already spent the past 2 years as the possible candidate to beat warriors (even though raptors did it before them) but now they have an aging Chris Paul on a super max contract plus players they can't afford so the fact that Harden is getting weary of this situation would make sense.

If I was harden and I just missed a chance to get a ring in the past 2 years I would want to have a better shot in the future as well whereas Chris Paul contract keeps that from happening and his decline is causing rockets to be worse every single year. With now AD trade I would say Lakers have a better shot this year with Durant and Klay out to be leaders of west then rockets have a shot.
5377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for fair & trusted site? on: June 18, 2019, 03:09:27 PM
I played on a familiar gambling site few weeks a ago and I lost a lot of money, it’s a site from this forum and was recommended, for now I do not know whom to blame, either the site or myself for been cajoled. How odds do not favor players is still one thing I cannot comprehend, I tried to be smart with the games but then I guess they had 50/50 house edge.

What I learnt from this experience is never expect so much from any site, if there’s ever a need to play games, play for the fun and spend less so that if at all you make loses you would know you had a nice time. Rather than searching for trusted site, we should look out for sites with more interesting games.
I don’t think you should blame yourself or the site you used for this, it just happened and mind you, you can never be smarter than the casino sites. This is a business that the games have been arranged in such a way that it provides the house with built edge that would always stack the odds in the favor of the casino site. They need the money of the player, so regardless the games you choose to play or hoe experienced you might think you are, the odds of the casino winning our money would always be greater than the odds of us winning the casinos money.

Like you have mentioned, it’s okay to limit the expectations from sites, and never believe there’s any site out there that allows 100% win. This doesn’t mean we should give up on gambling but at least lets expect less and also play with caution.
5378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: June 18, 2019, 02:41:52 PM
This is both true and not true. The longer you play the better you will definitely get but not as much as you may think you would.

Like if you start gambling at the age of 18 (legal age in many places of the world) and keep gambling poker for 50 years that doesn't mean you will be as good as the best poker players, there are people making millions of dollars in poker tourneys and you may never become like them, you still can, there is a chance but that doesn't mean you will be. That is why the longer you play the better you get but not as good as you think. That requires both a god given talent of calculation and mathematics and social cue understanding plus reading a lot of books and learning the tricks of the game and what not plus a big set of balls to actually pull off some bluffs.
5379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance Is Becoming Too Powerful (and really scary). on: June 18, 2019, 12:17:38 PM
Honestly, I am not afraid of binance getting too big because I trust binance, would you rather have 10 places that you are not sure about or 1 place you are definitely sure about.

If binance wasn't this powerful and we spread the volumes over to 10 exchanges next than we may had 2-3 bad "hacks" like binance recently had that would have affected the market horribly whereas right now we have binance which can continue to operate even after getting 7000 bitcoins hacked.
5380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The main factors pushing the ICO market down on: June 18, 2019, 10:27:35 AM
I think there are couple of stuff, one is definitely people thinking they won't earn as much as they used to from ICO (or it could be STO/IEO doesn't matter) and since they think they won't be making too much profit and even maybe lose money they decide not to invest neither, wouldn't make sense to just support a new coin with your money without making anything in return.

The second and the biggest I believe is that the regular coins that already exist were low already, so people decided to buy them and wait instead of investing into unknown coins, why would you risk your money into a coin you have never heard before when bitcoin went from 20k to 3k, just buy bitcoin and wait.

The idea is usually similar to when interest rates goes up in real life, business tend to keep their money in bank interest for guaranteed profit instead of becoming bigger companies by hiring more people and opening more stores.
