5361  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Honeyminer? on: March 05, 2019, 09:54:58 PM
Mining is not profitable as it used to be the only who are making profits are the GPU maker, I used to mining on altcoins when I was just starting out but when the difficulty is getting higher and another miner is beating me I have to let it go, bounty campaign is much better now compare to mining.
Comparing mining and bounty campaign is really irrelevant. We can really say that profitability is already a problem but atleast you do gain some tokens which do have some value and might
possibly rise in the future but well it would really need for you to sacrifice on the expense (electricity & maintenance) if you do plan to proceed. For bounty campaign
you don't even know if the said token rewards would gain value or would just end up to be a shitcoin.
5362  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-11] Bitcoin Nothing More Than a ‘Lottery Ticket’: Harvard Economist on: March 05, 2019, 09:40:29 PM
I can see how someone uneducated could arrive at the analogy of a lottery ticket, because there are significant of people out there who buy Bitcoin purely in the hope of becoming wealthy.  There's no denying some people are clearly using Bitcoin for that intent.  But, as others have pointed out, it's downright disheartening that an educator, of all people, could arrive at such a simplistic and banal conclusion, particularly when even a hint of understanding would lead you to recognise that's not what Bitcoin is.

It's like when people say the internet is just people sharing cat videos.  Congratulations on your pedestrian surface observations, which technically aren't incorrect.  Lots of people are using the internet to do that.  Oddly enough, though, there's a little more to it than that.  See the bigger picture, perhaps?
I would rather say that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme is much better than Bitcoin is just like a Lottery ticket. I don't know why he do get those analysis yet same as you said
those are just like f*ckin pedestrian surface observations and didn't even tend to go deeper and to know more on how Bitcoin works and its true usage and I do even believe
that he do made such line by just having a single glimpse on BTC and didn't tend to looked once again.
5363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Make money by what? on: March 05, 2019, 09:18:47 PM
I would like to ask you to participate in any regular campaign?
 - I joined facebook and twitter and felt very little stake
 - So you can share what the campaign should do to get more stake
Thanks all.

To get a lot of skates, I think you should join bounty ICO campaigns and hard-working to earned skates. But now the circumstances of cryptocurrency market is not right and the price was stable and not any sign to go to the moon. Calm down and continue to working on bounty to get more skates and token.

Bounty is good option but not reliable since as of now there are so many unpaying bounty campaign, and by this I suggest to find another option like blogging, video making, community management and other related job that can use on crypto advertisement.
Well thats the risk in joining ico bounty campaigns sometimes your lucky and sometimes not, you wont get paid for doing the task for atleast a month or two thats very frustrating.
The duration of most bounty campaigns since last year aren't really that short finishing 1-2 months time which it is already mostly 3-6 months long which do really sucks
because they do extent out because they haven't reached out their goal amount yet which is normal for the current market condition on where most investors
still hesitating to invest that's why we can really see that majority of ICO's now are failing.
5364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cheat Sheet Collection on: March 05, 2019, 09:08:44 PM
Market cycles and chart patterns are useful but technoical analysis will only go so far in crypto.  These markets are heavily manipulated and you never know when one of those early adopter whale will decide to dump his bags on everyone.

lol.. can you explain how ppl make money here if TA doesn't work?
TA here on crypto market might work or wont work it is just really the same if we do use up these tools on forex too but the difference with crypto market
is that anytime it can break out technical analysis due to its characteristic where it do mostly reacts with news/fundamentals that's why sometimes I'm not
basing my orders on TA's.
5365  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: March 05, 2019, 02:05:05 AM
We did have too many ICOs with exchange as they project. Many were able to reach the hardcap. Many have come up with features and products which would bring in more crowd into their exchange. The offers they provided is really amazing. Even if you dont trade in the exchange, you will earn on just keeping their coins in the wallets. So the future depends on the exchange
But running an exchange also costs money. The employees, server, domain hosting, legal services (accounting). And many ICO exchanges made projections of income based on much higher trading volumes than the current one. Hopefully they will somehow survive these times of lower volumes and if they do, this will pay off during the next bull run when volume will be higher than ever before.
I noticed that during the bullish trend, most altcoins and tokens fall in price on the contrary, as traders try to buy bitcoin or ETH. There are a few exceptions, but the General trend is this.
That will always be the trend, since all altcoin depend on bitcoin, the altcoins have no life of their own, which is why they will always be at the mercy of what happens in the bitcoin market.
Not to disrupt on your belief but it isn't always the case. Altcoin market can stand on their own but we can really deny the fact that btc market do always have the decision on where the market
trend will go.If it do drops then the entire market drops too which is normal yet btc do have the biggest percentage when it comes to dominance.
5366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bounty Managers on: March 03, 2019, 11:12:26 PM
Either you are honest, or you are not. The amount involved is completely irrelevant. Those for which amounts may matter are unlikely to be completely honest. Yahoo is on the right side of things.
I agree with this. Yahoo just did the right thing even it is a big amount of bitcoin. There are many cases like this happens but not everyone make as what yahoo62278 did. Being right and honest will make you to become a trusted forum member.  Yahoo returns the big amounts of Bitcoin unlike aTriz.
With that $250,000 i doubt most people will surely run that amount of money when they do accidentally recieve it from somebody. This really proves out that Yahoo isnt aiming for money but rather he do focus
with his reputation. Being honest is always a valuable thing as a person.
5367  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-02] No, Facebook’s ‘FaceCoin’ Will Be Nothing Like Bitcoin (Or Even a C on: March 03, 2019, 12:31:06 PM
I'd wager it's centralized, closed-source or based on public permissioned/private permissioned blockchain.

It won't stop all the pinheads here writing 'I be buy facebookcoin. Goodest investment it'.

It's not exactly wrong thought process (at least for short-term investment) since people know anything made by big company always bring momentum and it could be used to gain short-term profit.
As a smart investor or trader then having these kind of fundamentals would really be the best opportunity to make money. Buying out that FaceCoin not on the meaning to support into it
but rather focusing or just for the sake of profits.
Lots of people will surely buy this coin and most of them doesnt even know on whats crypto yet this facecoin would be an another centralized piece of crap.
5368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a technical analysis?? on: March 02, 2019, 07:26:50 PM
I'm interest in trading but I have no clear idea how to do it in a profitable way. I saw that in some threads technical analysis is very important when trading but the way of doing it was not mentioned. So please can you tell me how to do it? Are there any resources which can be used to learn it?

If there something else which I have to know before trading please let me know.

Thank you

Hi!
There a lot of services video courses like coursera, for example. You can try to find in Google what is better exactly for as well.
Wish you luck!

There are too many videos and knowledge of Technical analysis on internet that it is very easy for anyone to study them and become expert of it. But one thing which i have observed that the information is too much scattered and it is difficult to find all the information at one place. There should be someone who gather all the important information and make one comprehensive course of T.A.
Those things needed could provide us good analysis, but for the bearish market I think it won't work the same way as previous green market experience. When there's a good market actively buying and selling technical analysis can be applied due to frequent movement, was through the running data behind. In any ways, learning can be a process that needs a lot of patience to do in order to obtain a nearly perfect analysis which we could consider in most certain cases of trading.
Not all the times that even on green market which technical aspect would really work but i agree onto the point that his do really help up to have a good analyzed kind of process
which it can give you out some presumptions or justification of your own analysis.
There are lots of tutorials and guides online which you can really search on.
5369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: February 28, 2019, 11:36:52 PM
Durant and Curry was just smiling after that Wade shot.
It was a lucky shot and they did not really expect it.

A good game though for both Warriors and Heat. Those are the kind of games that you really want to see. A 4th quarter game where both teams are getting the lead back and forth and you just dont know which one will really win the game.
That was fun to watch. I can see the faces of the Warriors fans. They may have a face with an open mouth in silence.  Grin
You can really feel up the thrill into these kind of times where the scores or gap is too close and the time is running out.You can feel up the intense since both teams
are doing their very best to score and avoiding opponents team to succeed and with these lucky shots, it can really happen anytime even me didn't expect for that wade buzzer beater shot.
Warrior fans reaction is just normal  Wink
5370  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-26] Tom Lee: Bitcoin Will End 2019 On A High Note on: February 28, 2019, 11:21:51 PM
Bitcoin To Soar Higher

Speaking during an interview at the Blockchain Economy Istanbul Summit, Lee disclosed his optimism about the future of Bitcoin. Tom was speaking just as Bitcoin reached $3,900. According to him, the $3,900 price is just a start and Bitcoin is headed for a much higher price by the end of the year.

According to Tom, the current rise of the global markets, especially the stock market, is bound to affect Bitcoin positively. Also, the fact that the dollar is stable is good news for the Bitcoin market.

Finally, Tom Lee realized that his reputation was falling just like the price of bitcoin, with only one difference: bitcoin's price could increase again in the future while Tom Lee's reputation in the crypto market will not be more the same. Other experts have disappeared, next that must give up making exaggerated forecasts is John McAfee
Only that McAfee dude is still persistent on making some exaggerated speculations. He do either tell positive or negative most of the time with BTC. When these so-called
experts do attack BTC then expected reputation and views of crypto people would be on the same way too which means losing out popularity and sooner would really be ignored.
It is much better for them to make some neutral-good feedbacks or views so community wont surely hate them.
5371  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [p2pb2b.io] The next generation cryptocurrency exchange [IEO (STO) for Startups] on: February 28, 2019, 10:56:38 PM
250.000.000$ Volume and 5-6 Btc in total over all assets in buy orders?
Looks legit
With those overall buy orders you can already conclude that it is legit  Grin

Scam exchange?
I have the experience on using up this exchange when selling/trading out some coin.Low volume is expected and you can really see some bots
making some orders.
About into their deposit,it is fast but on withdrawal confirmation it do take some time.
5372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Win and Share a total of 5 BTC when you trade LOKI!!! on: February 28, 2019, 10:18:11 PM
LOKI traders must be shaking right now as they have just released a trading competition on KuCoin!

Find it interesting? Go ahead and check out this link right now for further details:

https://www.kucoin.com/news/778-20
I don't think it's really a thing that will actually be done by the kucoin team, this guys run an exchange and are not Santa clause so I don't believe they will give out 5 btc that way.

This is just a method to market their exchange in order to get a lot of users to register and also trade with the exchange. It is just like shopping website, they promise 50% off but actually sells the product at the normal cost price.
there are really trading competitions not only on Kucoin but on all exchangers which when they do tend out to list a new token this is usually the set up.
Giving out some competition but even myself wont really believe into that 5 BTC giveaway or prize. It seems too good to be true but lets see if they would able
to push it through but besides that OP really likes to shill out this coin.

5374  Economy / Economics / Re: Bull VS Bear Markets, How Do You Tell The Difference!? on: February 28, 2019, 04:21:35 PM

I would love to hear your own opinions on how to judge where we are in the cycle between bullish and bearish, so leave your comments below.
Judging between bullish and bearish trends would always be hard and detecting specially with this very speculative market is nearly impossible.
You cant even make yourself dependent into fundamentals or technical. Price can turn upside down in an instant or without being noticed. As a trader you should really
be very versatile if you do like to make profits withier the price or trend either on both directions.
5375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Using a BTC Mixing Service and Power Went Out on: February 28, 2019, 01:15:45 PM
In that case he wont really have any option but to contact support and do ask for further instruction
regarding on the transaction.
There is only one option left for OP if the aforementioned option isn't viable, which is signing a statement from the address the coins were sent from. If that's not possible either, then I hope for OP the amount is very small.

I really hope it's not sent from an exchange, because that means it's officially impossible to regain access to the funds. That's why you should always first withdraw to a freshly created address of yourself, and then mix it.

I know beforehand that an exchange won't sign messages to help someone who really needs it, and even if it is possible, an exchange might not be interested to cooperate. It's time consuming and doesn't make them win anything.
Its rare for Exchangers to help out a specific user when it comes to private keys/sign message request unless if you are a huge volume trader then they
might consider or give you a chance.

We are all waiting for OP's response yet he haven't came back to tell regarding on the updates.
5376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three. on: February 28, 2019, 12:07:09 PM
excellent points here but I wouldn't really call them "investors" because an investor usually has some minimal experience and some brain function that he uses to analyze and research the thing he is putting his money into. these people who keep investing in shitcoins and ICOs are more like a bunch of desperate people who want to make profit so bad but they have no idea how to do it. the result is of course disastrous. and the damage is not just to their own pocket but also they are damaging the whole market with them giving the scammers the boldness to continue doing their crap.
Why cant we just called them as desperate zero-knowledge investors?  Wink With that diagram I do really completely get those points which are actually
real-life scenarios on where these 3 things are really milking out investors in between. What can we do? Theres nothing we can do yet we don't have any options
but to use them.
5377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending altcoin without fee? on: February 27, 2019, 11:35:54 PM
Generally, it is not possible to send altcoin without a fee. Because the altcoin system works based on Block Chain Technology. Some mining fees are required to send altcoin. So there is a fee to be sent to send the altcoin to the wallet address.

But altcoin can be sent without fees but it is not in wallet address. Altcoin can be sent through personal email without the fees. It's actually done to send the altcoin internally. In that case, the sender and the recipient need to have the same wallet. If not the same wallet, then altcoin cannot be sent. This is the only way to send altcoin without the fee. If you have any other idea kindly share with us. Thank you
I'm quite familiar on sending out coins by just having typing the email address of certain recipient.Like coins.ph but this is only applicable into
similar users who do make use of such wallet and also using fiat or fixed amount to be transacted. If it do transfers btc and other alts then fees would really be implemented.
5378  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-27]Bitcoin to End 2019 Above $3,900, no Need for ETF on: February 27, 2019, 10:59:03 PM
Lee avowed that regardless of the chances that the ETF will be suspended or even rejected, the crypto community still have a fruitful year for digital currencies in 2019.

They do keep on speculating blah blah blah.~

Rejected or not, this ETF would have significant affect it might not solely increase the price but the hype it would give into the entire market
which would drive or lead on such price increase.
5379  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: STRANGE HAPPENING TO MY BITCOIN WALLETS - HELP ME PLS!! on: February 27, 2019, 10:35:06 PM
SuperInvestor, you've already got the answers what you need to do, but to remove that malware or any other bad software from your device I advice that you use only best software. For example you can download free version of Malwarebytes for scan your device, and use premium version for 30 day trial.

Some malware is very difficult to remove, so in some cases it is better to make scan in safe mode.
There are really some malwares which is really hard to remove even how premium antivirus you do have that's why I decided to reformat
or completely re-install a fresh OS so that It would completely remove all of my doubts.
5380  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptominingFarm.io is SCAM DEFINITLY on: February 27, 2019, 09:54:14 PM
I created a scam accusations on this cloud mining on scam section because they are not sending me my withdrawal request after 3 weeks but after 5 weeks I received my withdrawal but I will not change my post I will still consider this as a scam site because of the so many complaints about this cloud mining site.
It legit surprises me that they sent you your funds. Did you make clear that you have a scam accusation post on this forum against them? If so, it might have been a desperate attempt to not allow their "reputation" to get even shittier.

The bear market made sure that a whole lot less people become a victim of these scams, but I'm already thinking about what's going to happen during the next bull run. I'm sure (unfortunately) that we will replicate what happened in 2017.
More scams are bound to happen the moment we start climbing out of this long bear market we're currently in; there's less interest in crypto due to the bear market we're in that's discouraged people from investing in crypto as a whole, and those that are still in crypto right now are pretty aware of most of the scams out there related to things like cloudmining, but the only thing we can really do in the meantime is teach people a few common characteristics of scam sites and what things to stay away from.

I would still consider this a scam site even after OP received his/her funds; it's very possible the site paid out the OP just to reel in more people to scam.
Paying out on early phase is always been a behavior of a certain cloud mining scam website. They tend to pay out and accumulate some amount threshold before they would
ran all the money.
With this bearish market even we do say that there are less scam as of these days but there are still some greedy bastards who do fall with some few number of obvious scams. They do never learn.
