5361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 15, 2019, 04:18:30 AM
No matter what they still can't compete with Lakers and Warriors though.

It's something I would not agree with, the warriors is not gonna be the same without Durant and the Lakers still hasn't prove anything yet, I don't underestimate the Rockets capability here, let's just see what will happen when season opens.
5362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 12, 2019, 07:46:58 AM
I think that it is not necessary to express such a possibility that Bitcoin can crush altcoin, because today the whole cryptocurrency is in demand in society only as investments that bring profit due to their instability.  If users treat cryptocurrency not as a means of accumulation, then it will be able to survive only in the best.

I guess not the whole because if we will try to analyze, majority of the coins which has value until now are shitcoins or those coins that has no potential in the future. This is because of the lack of regulation, there is a massive increase of coins especially during the time when ICO was still popular and some of the teams are not really doing it to develop for long term, they just want to take advantage on the situation when people are still eager to invest, but look at what happen now, people have learn, they are investing on in limited major altcoins and mostly focus on bitcoin.
5363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why president Donald trump is not a fan of bitcoin? on: July 12, 2019, 07:38:48 AM
He has his own stance on bitcoin and he sees the lack of regulation but he cannot stop the revolution of money and sooner more and more people will recognize bitcoin as money despite the fact that there are high official in every country that will opposed it. They will leave with no option but to regulate it and give the freedom to the people to use what they think will protect them against a corrupt centralized system.
5364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: July 12, 2019, 06:08:24 AM
I trade on Latoken, but since a huge update has passed, my coins are stuck and I cannot withdraw them, I wrote technical support on the site and said that there would be a withdrawal soon, wait.  I don’t recommend keeping funds there.

What particular coin you are holding their? I think they cannot hold your coin as that is yours, you can withdraw it anytime.
If you are familiar with the livecoin scam, they suspend the withdrawal of coin since the user has violated the TOS according to them, but the community is not in favor with livecoin and they got tagged, if you feel you have a similar problem, you know what yo do.

5365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 12, 2019, 05:38:05 AM
The OKC Thunder traded Russell Westbrook to the Rockets for CP3, first round picks in 2024 & 2026, and two pick swaps.

The thunder is better off without westbrook at this moment. Best of luck to the rockets with the reunion of James and Russell.

Meanwhile in New York, it appears they now have a meaningful signing in Marcus Morris stealing him from the Spurs.

But I think Westbrook in other team might adjust with another superstar, WB is better than CP3 if we based it on stats and no one can beat WB triple double stat padding. Both MVP are playing together in one team, it's interesting who will lead the team but it should be harden as he was the main ma before WB arrival.

I also think they can easily reach in the playoffs and they might just face a problem in the playoffs.
5366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 12, 2019, 05:24:22 AM
I've won some good amount with paylay in sports betting in the past but when I start doing it in a regular basis, it seems my overall return is negative.
So my question, do you bet on parlay and why?, and what's the biggest odds you've won so far?

Hello, this progression won’t work long term.

The only way to have an advantage in gambling  is increasing your prediction, without that, all progression will fail eventually

It's simple because parlay does gives lots of advantage to the sportsbook, the more leg we parlay the lower the chance of winning so you cannot make this method if you do regular betting with a decent amount.

Parlay is fun but with a small amount of bet only, believe if you'll win, you will have more satisfaction than odds like 1.90 and below.
5367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is slow in price? on: July 11, 2019, 10:30:00 PM
I believe that the pace of development of prices for ethereum, which is today, can be considered a healthy pricing of a promising project, and not due to artificial manipulation in the market, as often happens.  Perhaps if this continues on, we will see real, not fake, ETH results on the cryptocurrency market, which can achieve not only $ 500, but higher.

I guess no coin at the moment that is safe from manipulation, ethereum can also be manipulated as well but it's time has not come yet just like other major altcoins. Once we will be in the altcoin season, we will surely witness a lot of manipulation of our favorite coin especially ethereum since it's the 2nd most popular coin in the crypto market.
5368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: July 11, 2019, 10:22:03 PM
yes is this goodtime to buy ethereum we already know its never hit 300$ after big dump in early 2018.

Well, it may dump now as you can see in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#charts which the current price is only $269.82, but this year it was already able to reach $300 and that so far is its major achievement, but I'm hoping a $1,000 like many Ethereum investors.
5369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: July 11, 2019, 01:29:51 PM

It reaches $1000 in 2017 and it always follows every time there is a huge pump on Bitcoin, so there is a big chance that a new pump or all time is coming this year or the next year,  but definitely Ethereum is a good and highly profitable coin to invest whenever you want to get in at whatever price.

For sure, if we believe on ETH there is no need to worry if it is still not moving to $1,000 right now.
As long as it will maintain the trading volume and the price is still above the ICO price, we can expect it will surely rise at the right time.
1 year, 2 years, and 3 years, doesn't matter how long we have to wait because the moment it will start to rise, that ATH will be surpass easily.
5370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 11, 2019, 12:47:17 PM
Bounty hunting is also like investing, we cannot be certain.

There is a reason why you remove signature and join other campaign, because you think the other has better potential but things happen and you cannot undo your mistake, so move on and instead you learn from your mistake.

As long as the bounty is still present, there's still a lot of opportunity to earn money in crypto, so don't let your past mistake dictate your future.
5371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: July 10, 2019, 07:53:46 AM
you can because there are gambling sites that do not ask for sign up rather they provide auto generated names . you can use those to login instantly and play the game directly without any hassel  .
Most gamblers want that and we can do that if the casinos are not regulated, good for both the casino and the gamblers although the risk is on our part.
Unregulated casinos operates through their reputation only, and they can enjoy their profit as they are not paying tax on anything, the only risk from us is if the gambling site will go dark and scam us, we have no option but to accept our loses and move on.
5372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: July 10, 2019, 07:35:20 AM
XWallet v2.0 is now available for both android users and iOS users in order to celebrate this release, they will host a Crypto Gift Drop event at 20:00-21:00 GMT+8 on July 12.

You can read more at: https://medium.com/pundix/pundi-x-integrates-telegram-chat-and-adds-crypto-gift-feature-for-its-xwallet-app-9f841355e03d

Yes, we are seeing some more major developments from this Pundix team look at the twitter link https://twitter.com/PundiXLabs_kr/status/1148767128444555264  (Pay with XPASS through XPOS), these people are making the small retailer comfortable with the cryptocurrency payments.

Great update, we badly need some kind of update like this as altcoins are falling now.
PundiX is getting cheaper now, trading at 6 sats only and I can see the same scenario with high supply coins like DENT and HOT.
5373  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin and altcoin on: July 10, 2019, 06:13:56 AM
in these days bitcoin had a strong rise, but the other coins seem to be standing at the stake, is there a reason?
do you think that the whole market can be resumed? or will most of the altcoins fail in these months? sorry for my english=)
yeah, the price of Bitcoin is rising well and increas is high, it looks like other coins are difficult to keep up with the increase in the price of Bitcoin. I don't know what is the reason why Altcoin doesn't rise simultaneously with Bitcoin. not the same as years 2017 ago, where was that time Bitcoin and Altcoin rose simultaneously.
When investing in the market, I always believe that bitcoin and altcoins are bound for success and because of that I don't panic when I see bitcoin is rising and altcoins are falling as I know it's just temporary for altcoins, eventually altcoins will slowly recover and will rise altogether with BTC.

There are some altcoins which are already rising now but we know it's very small compared to the total legit altcoins, but we need to be patiently waiting for the time, otherwise we will not experience the success.
5374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: July 10, 2019, 05:31:50 AM
But the last IEOs on bittrex that called as STP already traded more than 5x above the ico price.

Wow, that's good, if I may ask, is this the first coin under IEO that is profitable?
I never heard a coin that is profitable in IEO aside from coins in the Binance exchange, so this is a good sign for a growing market.

It looks like a lot of people have changed their mind.

Hopefully so people will not only rely in Binance.

I'm checking the coin in the coinmarket now but it seems its not listed yet.
5375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 09, 2019, 08:07:59 AM
I never played any as for me that is not fun, I have no idea really as I only played a popular games that are available in most casinos.
IMO, when a game is unusual, it means the game is not popular and it's hard to win that game, casino's have house edge so I don't expect to win most of the time but to enjoy, I do it every time I play and like I said, unusual games are not enjoyable for me.
5376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 09, 2019, 07:46:08 AM
Therefore I'd like to get some of your opinion based on your experience, which is odds listed below gives you a better chance of winning?

a) over 2.00 or b) less than 2.00

Odds of over 2.00 means that team or player is the underdog or have low chances of winning. If you're lucky you will win double from your betting amount but that doesn't happen always. I would still prefer less than 2.00, they already proved their capability to win reason many people bet on them.

Less than 2.00 does not win all the time either, odds is not a measure of winning, if that is, we can bet blindly but still win, things like that doesn't happen in sports betting, I never come across a gambler who's been winning using the under 2.00 odds only.

The thing is, posters here just give their opinion but don't really experience the success betting on odds under 2.00.
5377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 08, 2019, 07:54:29 AM
Ethereum falls back and reaches 2019 lows against Bitcoin, will we soon see a breakout?

Yes, you'll see new ATL soon. Bitcoin will continue to appreciate.

I am hoping that soon will be this year, almost the whole year of 2018 was a bad year for ETH as that's the time it went down, if it will recover, it has to be this year, it's not too late year, though it did not rise in the first half of this year, we still more the 2nd half to make it happen.
5378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't FOMO in if you don't have what it takes - PATIENCE! on: July 05, 2019, 11:22:11 PM
People got FOMOd but it doesn't mean they loss, he bought BTC which is a legit coin and has a great potential in the future, as long as he hold and don't panic, he will never loss money on it as we know bitcoin can rise over time and one can also sell with a profit especially at this stage which is still early.

Your friend got panic and have a regret now but I hope because of that big mistake he will not stop his journey in crypto as all of us makes mistakes, what matters is we learn from it. We can set our mindset that crypto trading is for long term as bitcoin is here to stay, even longer than our stay in this world.
5379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: July 05, 2019, 11:17:05 PM
That question has been on my mind too but I see a lot of big investors keying in on the Facebook coin. It's the news around now and I see it bringing more adoptions in the cryptocurrency world when it's finally launched.
Therefore it's wise to buy this coin, when majority of the money from the investors are willing to buy this coin, why would we resist ourselves from doing so. Personally, I'm a facebook user and the fact that I use that means I trusted them, and this one for sure I could also trust them as they would not launch the project without complying to the law and that makes us protected and gives the project more potential to grow.
5380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIBRA - Strategy for world domination on: July 05, 2019, 11:04:53 PM
To run it, you need thousands of permissions, I do not think that even such a company will do it easily and quickly. In addition, I bypass her at all, it is not confidential, it is not safe, and I agree that such things are being done to capture most of the people under their control. Mark Zuckerberg with his support for gays, and most of his ideas are simply one of those who are at the helm and killing society.
I also think that this is only the first application for such a large technological progress. It seems to me that even to Ethereum it will be very difficult to do.
As long as we have the regulators to oversee the facebook or Libra, things will be safe for us.
We have submitted already with them when we use the facebook and we are with the terms of the company, so with Libra, it's not new as we know we can trust them and we know how strong the regulation is in their jurisdiction.
