Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer?

I'm just curious if you are mainly talking about higher chances in terms of mathematical proof/facts or the number of wins that you have with those corresponding odds that you said. Because, from a mathematical standpoint, it's odd that gives you the less multiplier with your bet. That's the general rule.

For the times that I have done sports betting, I would say that I have won a lot more of higher odds because I only bet those sports that I know. My favorite is the games in the NBA.

In sports betting, I don't believe in math, I mean the odds maker are not using the math here, they are reading the minds of the people and made a line accordingly. They could be wrong also but most of the time they are right since that's their job and they are master of that.

The high odds which is over 2.00 is a good odds if you see some value, determining the value is not easy, not because you know the game, you would be confident that you can win, man, there's an odds in every game, you need to analyze that carefully, and please don't rely on math alone.

I think I would prefer the over 2.00, I just notice that when I pick the odds 2.00 and over, my bankroll does not easily wipe out, LOL.. I still loss but at least I can still enjoy more playing time in sports. It's really not necessary to have as many bets as you like, if we are talking of long term, then we should find a good value among lots of games offered in a daily basis, and you can just bet one game per day.

It is not really about less than or over 2.00 but most times, I go less than 2.00 for reasons not really clear  to me but one basic thing I know is that it is very easy to beat odds just by spotting hen the odd trader  have not gotten something right. It may be rare unlike bookies watches pieces  like it is with benchmark, but it’s   realistic

I don’t really have so much bets like you mentioned but aside when I use stats form, I’ve discovered that odd prices are mostly dependent on public opinion. Once an horse gets the opinion of everyone, then there’s is probability of the price dropping any moment soon. Whenever there’s a feeling that the everyone is not getting  it right, it might just be a good time to strike.

For sure less than 2.00 will give you more winnings than the odds greater than 2. But this is not how gambling works. You need to change your odds after every game depending upon the result of your previous bet. You cannot just bet on less then 2.0 and think you will be safe. This is not the reality in gambling.

I always prefer to bet on the underdogs with odds >2.00  giving me a good return if they win.
I usually aim my bets relatively okay in amount and want to more than double it instead of getting less.

Literally we do have higher chance on those 2.00 lower odds but it doesnt mean that it makes you win everytime.I already tested out to have this betting style which stick into those favorite ones mostly but end up on messing my entire bankroll.Its a mistake because i do come to a point that im not even realizing or whats my basis regarding on my bets yet i do only focused on odds selection.

I can't make a betting decision based on the odds only.Every game and every match is different.
If less than 2.00 was winning more often,every gambler would bet on less than 2.00 and the bookies will change the odds to benefit themselves.There's no easy way to win from sports betting.

If you are good at games and you have knowledge about the team so it will not be hard for you to bet on the game, as we should keep eyes on the performance of the every game and the players so them it will be not be hard to bet for making money, if you choose 2 it is same as 1, but for this you will have to give little more time and get fully understanding with the game and the team.

Martingale is another type of betting strategy, I tried to experiment that in the past but I have no success on that, if you will be hit by a cold streak, it's hard to stay discipline as you loss more and more.

It doesn't really matter as I have come to the conclusion that odds are irrelevant,they are only a tool of the hous to confuse us,the gamblers.I have bet on all kind of events and even odds of 1.10 have come to fail sometimes and not be a winner bet.

I agree that martingale is a bad strategy but I can't conclude and judge that it's not a working strategy.
Sports betting is no different in dice or any games with house edge, so martingale could also work here but I don't want to use it as my strategy.
We got to stay focus and consider sports betting a long term gambling and flat betting is way better, not exciting if you don't have a decent bankroll, but if you do, for sure you will love it as that will make you last.

Better chance says who?
I guess we sometimes too rely the chances based on the odds alone, which is wrong IMO.
Odds are created to balance the betting as these odds maker knows how people react with the odds, that's why we also some some line movement prior or during the game. If odds with lower 2.00 gives better chance, then making money would be easy by just betting on it.

I did not think this way in the first place. A local professional gambler once told me that ” if I gamble with low odd that will not increase my chances of winning and losing, therefore, why should I adopt low risk”! your post makes me remember the man advice and I think both less than 2:00 and above that is good and what matters is either you are able to win or lose.

I admire that kind of strategy, I've been experimenting on betting most underdogs line as it gives good odds, but actually not too much underdog.
Usually the line in a good sportsbook if the game is 50/50 would be 1.92 both, but that 8% is big enough and that would make us loss money even if we are 50/50 in win/loss ratio. For me take, I will take the close which is around 2.01 to 2.10, no juice in the odds and you got little extra if you win.

If you are going to use small bets, just go with odds higher than 2.00x, there is no reason to betting with lower odds than 2 00x with small bets since you will get small profit too. Better to risk in parlay if you are gonna using lower odds.

Odds of over 2.00 means that team or player is the underdog or have low chances of winning. If you're lucky you will win double from your betting amount but that doesn't happen always. I would still prefer less than 2.00, they already proved their capability to win reason many people bet on them.

Less than 2.00 does not win all the time either, odds is not a measure of winning, if that is, we can bet blindly but still win, things like that doesn't happen in sports betting, I never come across a gambler who's been winning using the under 2.00 odds only.

The thing is, posters here just give their opinion but don't really experience the success betting on odds under 2.00.
