5361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 18, 2020, 12:49:15 PM

Here is what I want us to discuss.

Since ICO investment is very risky as it depends the new startup whitepaper and the token, how did we know Ethereum would become successful through it ICO?

If Ethereum is to start afresh and do an ICO, why will you invest?

Ethereum is not going to launch an ICO why would they, they just infuse new token or put their token in the market and people are going to buy because of their status and what they've achieved in the industry, everything that Ethereum will do will become a success, even if they are going to shift from proof of work to proof of stake, but I doubt if they are going to do a crowdfunding at this point in time.
5362  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next move of Bitcoin after $17000? on: November 18, 2020, 11:25:31 AM

Now the Question is can we break that 19 hundred dollars this November?if does then maybe we can bring new ATH just before December come.

How I've waited for this lol, hoping 50k is the ATH for this 2020 halving.

I'm glad I'm wrong that I'm thinking that another all time high this year is not possible and save our hopes for next year, I'm very surprised on ow the the market performs it took only 3 days for a big dramatic increase of the price, it's now possible, we can wake up and find out that we are in a new all time high, this is the best week ever after 8 months, now I'm a complete believer.

Go here if you are interested to buy

Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images
5364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 18, 2020, 02:21:48 AM
Best way for Europe to oblige casinos helping the Covid victims and the affected people,in this they will be part of government movement in this very bad effect in their country as second to the US of most corona virus infected countries.

That's a good solution to implement, many gambling casinos will give more because it will give their site a good reputation and will attract more gamblers to play, but we all know the government, they always want to be in control of everything and take the credit.
By taxing them and announcing the tax will be used to sustain the fight against CoVid the government will receive praises and recognition.
5365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 18, 2020, 01:30:56 AM

Bitcoin has risen its price from the start, which was $0.08 per coin until now which is $14912.
today, I was reading a post on CoinBazar724.com which was directed from cointelegraph.com saying that BTC may reach to even $17k!!!

Do you think this is possible?

since BTC is not remained too much, some people say it may even reach $100k!!
in this manner, do you think it is worth the risk to buy bitcoin?  Cry

This is one of the prediction that proves to be correct, congratulations to those who bought after reading this post, I am one of them BVitcoin now is looking good at $17,600 and will soon head to $19000 with how the end it is moving.
There is a big probability that it can even surpass, that 5.4% jump $16,714.40 to $17,651.82 is just awesome, it made us think that things like new all time high this year is now possible.
5366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 17, 2020, 11:19:31 PM

I'm looking at ethereum, and some altcoins like nothing has changed. I am afraid that if the bitcoin trend continues the altcoin market will decline. so maybe now is a good time to sell altcoins before that happens.

That's what really happening now Bitcoin is moving up while some of the altcoins I'm holding are not, two altcoin that I want and wish to move forward is UNI and on new coin YOUC, but it's to early to speculate that it will be the trend when Bitcoin hit it's new al time high, I'm hoping that other altcoins especially those that are not in the top 10 will also move forward.
But of course I only want coins that has a good potential, not coins that are considered as pump and dump coin/token.
5367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 10:48:53 PM
I know someone that is working in China for 12 years now who told me that there is a lot of illegal gambling happening in China. He's working in this store and usually, people talk at that store about these illegal gamblings. If this is the case, I agree that they should just let it be legal but as far as I know, they are in the religion of Buddhism so I think it is related to that?

As China policy and laws they do not adhere to religious teaching, they are not banning gambling because of Buddhism they are banning it because their parties created a law for their citizen since the communist party cane into power in 1949, it's surprising that although they ban gambling in mainland China they have a state own gambling casinos in Macau and Chinese citizens have a lot of underground gambling sites.

I agree that there are a lot of money to be made by the government of China, but do they need it since they have already making huge money from commerce, remember they are already a superpower.
5368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 09:10:22 AM

There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

Who's talking? the bag holders the Ripple whales, or the development team, trying to hype their coin which is sliding in it's position, I will not be surprised if Ripple is nowhere to be found in the top 5, they are on the number 4 spot and will soon be overtaken by new coin Polkadot or Binance coin, that will end your dream of Ripple becoming the next Bitcoin in the market.

Do check Bitcoin dominance BTC 64.0% how will Ripple going to surpass Bitcoin with that stat.
5369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: November 16, 2020, 07:04:42 AM
...It was a 5k bet. . That was how my hope of winning 260k bet was dashed. I can never forget that very day in hurry, Sunday 10 Nov.2013

It was not mean to be, this things actually happen to many gamblers, I have a read a news about a first prize lottery winner but unfortunately he did not cash it out because the winning ticket was destroyed when it got wet,

he put in his pocket in his polo and it happen to rain when got out from his office and he is all wet, he just realized that he won because he has a written copy of the ticket he made a bet, but the ticket is unrecognized because it's all wet.

The bettor have made up his mind that it's not meant to be, he has moved so should you, there are a lot of important things in life, not just money.
5370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 06:13:47 AM
Compared 7 years ago we are better companies and individuals can easily create tokens or coins with the introduction of the smart contract, the market is better no win terms of volumes and new coins and tokens with good potential in the market, there are a lot of new coins or tokens in the market and they offer innovations, we are better than years ago and the technology keeps on evolving, moving forward.
Those who made negative impressions on us are now wanting to be part of us, like PayPal and Facebook and many others.
5371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 03:21:52 AM
It's a fact that we cannot go against, the government allow this because they are getting taxes here and gambling casinos have a huge cost to operate, but it's not like we are giving our money for free, of course we have a change to get our money or even win, there are times that gambler beat the house edge the most important thing is we only gamble what we can afford to lose.

It's still a win win situation for all those involve in the industry, the operators, the government and the player this is one of the reason why online and physical gambling is thriving.
5372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 16, 2020, 12:16:48 AM
With regards to experience, Donaire has the advantage but I see that they both loss to Naoya Inoue. I can see that the odds will surely  to favor to Nonito Donaire as Emmanuel has been KO by Naoya but Naoya was unable to KO Donaire.

Donaire has a huge advantage if we take that analysis, Rodriguez is a hard nut to crack he was floored several times before the referee stop the fight and he don't look groggy it's just the body punches that send him in the canvass, Rodriguez is a slugger, Donaire should finish the fight early because this is a young fighter who can take a 12 round fights, Donaire losses steam in his last fight against Inoue, he should not let thing happens.
5373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 15, 2020, 01:47:55 PM
This is the reason why Bitcoin is the most desirable asset to buy in the market

Dominance: BTC 63.7% ETH 11.1% USDT 3.84%

All of us here have Bitcoin as their primary portfolio this is the most secured investment in the market, all the other are just pump and dump coin, yes there are coins with a good platform, but enough to get into the top, and some of these platforms are just imitation of existing platforms
5374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: November 15, 2020, 12:24:31 PM
I noticed that in 2020 more and more new crypto online casinos have sprung up, and they spend quite a lot of promotional costs
by opening gambling campaigns in the service section with Bitcoin payment. I recommend 777coin and Bitvest which are trusted
and have a good reputation.

Yes, there seems to be a migration of fiat gamblers to Cryptocurrency gambling sites, almost every week we see a new campaign on a new gambling site, and there are new gambling site that does not launch a campaign but had an announcement here,
The signature campaign is good for the forum as it encourages activity and good discussion, it's a win-win situation for all those involves in, the project, the forum, and the participants.
5375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: November 15, 2020, 08:21:49 AM

Should be Crawford vs Spence next, or at least Crawford vs other bigger name in the 147 lbs at least.

This fight should happen all the other big names in the welterweight I'm sorry to include Pacquiao my idol is just supporting, Crawford and Spence are two big stars here, but I don't think their respective promoters will sit down and talk about the match.
The pandemic should be over before they sit down to fight, because there are big money to be made in a gate receipt and their promoters would like to take that opportunity.
5376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 15, 2020, 07:36:07 AM
There's goes Trump legacy he cannot accept defeat, well for an arrogant man who is the first incumbent president not to get elected for 30 years, he should be angry on this achievement  Cheesy but all he and his party says are all nonsense because they cannot present a valid or strong proof that there is rigging of poll, he is actually the one rigging the election.
5377  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 15, 2020, 04:10:39 AM
Since PayPal just announced that crypto trading and payment services went live in the US, do you think PayPal may turn into a big competitor to existing cryptoexchages? They can also launch a crypto-currency trading desk as well, why not.

Why not, they have the money they have the market, they have millions of clients, what would stop them, I have this believe that they are doing a big shift from embracing Cryptocurrency to the fullest and setting up an exchange is not a remote possibility, they do have the resources to make this happen, Paypal entry to the Cryptocurrency by adding it in their platform is just the start and I don't think they will stop there, the technology is young and there are so many things to explore.
5378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A Word of Advice about Paypal & Crypto on: November 15, 2020, 01:18:28 AM
I think everybody heard that Paypal is going to add crypto into its wallets/services.

A word of advice:
If you are NOT a fully legal US or European citizen, your Paypal fiat and crypto funds are ALWAYS at risk. Paypal is famous about blocking fiat accounts and that paranoia will be ten times higher with crypto. Never have a lot of money in your Paypal accounts, both fiat and crypto. Use Paypal when you only really need to.

Remember the Crypto Mantra:
NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR COINS !

Keep your money to yourself, be your own bank as it was originally established by Satoshi.

I will also recommending this, users are bound by terms of condition of PayPal and we have seen so many complaints of People who are verified and long time users of PayPal getting their account limited because of questionable transactions, do you know that you can get your account limited or flagged if some one with questionable transaction send you fund without even you acknowledging it,PayPal is only for online transactions when it comes to storing your coins you should be the one holding your private keys.
5379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: November 14, 2020, 11:18:19 PM
I really agree that by the end of this year bitcoin will reach its highest price and it all seems clear that bitcoin at this time of the pandemic is an investment that has many benefits for many people in various countries. and also make bitcoin more familiar to many people, of course.
Yes it will reach it's highest price this year but not breaking the all time high, my modest prediction is it will at least reach $18 k, already we are in a good pace we are reaching a lot of milestone now I wish there will be news like the PayPal news that will move the price even higher, i do not expect an all time high this time, although I welcome it, we'll have another one second quarter of 2021.
5380  Economy / Speculation / Re: My 'vast' BTC hodl on PayPal on: November 14, 2020, 12:31:48 AM

They aren't bringing Bitcoin services to countries outside of the US, or to Venmo customers, until 2021.

I'm a US resident (not a citizen) and I've had a Paypal account for a while. My dashboard previously said "Join the waitlist." Now it says "Curious about crypto? Buy Bitcoin and more."

I clicked through and had to accept some terms about the risks and volatility and lack of regulation, but it looks like they're letting me buy without any further verification. I've only ever verified my email address and bank account with Paypal, never sent in any documents, so that's pretty sweet. That's a real advantage over Coinbase if you think about it.

I have not used my Paypal also for the last three years and not in a country where Cryptocurrency features are accessible I stopped using Paypal when I shift to Cryptocurrency but out of curiosity I would like to see that feature when my location is finally accepted and will cross the bridge when I get there if I am going to buy and sell Cryptocurrency in their dashboard because what they are offering is very much different from what I've known from other exchanges.
