5381  Economy / Exchanges / #DeleteCoinbase - what is going on with Coinbase? on: February 28, 2019, 06:48:48 PM
From few days users of the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange are closing their accounts in protest and sharing screenshots.

This is driven by a growing sense that the largest crypto exchange in the U.S. has lost its moral compass and can’t be trusted to be a responsible steward of customer funds and data.

The idea and hashtag began picking up steam more than a week ago when early spotters voiced concerns about Coinbase’s acquisition of the analytics company Neutrino.
But it truly went viral yesterday, largely at the urging of bitcoin developer Udi Wertheimer.

But why all the anger? Three controversial moves this month helped bring distrust of Coinbase to a head.

1. On February 12, Coinbase announced that its Coinbase Wallet would allow users to store their private cryptocurrency keys to Google Drive and iCloud.
2. On February 25, Coinbase announced that it would allow users of its Coinbase Pro service to buy XRP, the cryptocurrency behind aspiring bank-transmission provider Ripple.
3. The biggest impetus behind #DeleteCoinbase, though, was the announcement on February 19 that Coinbase had acquired a blockchain analytics firm called Neutrino.

Neutrino shares most of its leadership with Hacking Team, an Italian spyware firm that helped oppressive regimes worldwide monitor political dissidents and journalists. In several cases, Hacking Team’s work appears to have led to the imprisonment and even murder of pro-democracy activists—and some of its leaders seem to have had no moral qualms about silencing dissent.

For now, it’s hard to gauge how many users are actually leaving Coinbase. The exchange has tens of millions of users, so it’s tempting to dismiss the outrage of a few thousand insiders on Twitter as irrelevant. But recent history shows that ignoring #DeleteCoinbase would be a mistake.

5382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING - Coinomi Wallet CRITICAL Vulnerability Made Me Lose My Life Savings on: February 28, 2019, 06:32:36 PM
I am really sorry for your loss OP and hope you will be able to get your funds back.

Still, don't understand why OP used this same password/seed words for two different wallets?

From what I know rule number one is to use different passwords/seed words always.

If Coinomi wallet seed words would be different then OP exodus wallet would never be hacked. Am I right?

How they managed to find that these seed words are from Exodus wallet? Do they check all wallets out there? Strange.

Re-read the OP's post... He had some tokens (probably ERC20 tokens) that were sent to him but were not supported by his exodus wallet. Since he wanted to manipulate these tokens, he had to enter his seed phrase in a compatible wallet that did support these tokens. If he would have created a new seed phrase in coinomi he wouldn't have been able to manipulate the tokens that were sent to an address generated by his exodus wallet.

As for the second part of your question: there are 2048 words in the dictionary... A simple parser looking for a 12 or 24 words phrase consisting of solely words from this dictionary would suffice.

I used coinomi to keep some spending money, but i have moved everything but tBTC and tLTC from coinomi and i'll never use the application again, ever... It's not just the fact that they had a vulnerability, it's the way they behaved afterwards.

Thank you very much for this explanation. Of course, a little merit for you.

This is something new for me despite I am using tokens from start and have multiple holdings. Maybe because I have never used wallets like Coinomi so far.
Never trusted them and from what I see I am totally right.

Even the best online wallet today can be vulnerable tomorrow because of a service update he depends on. Even such one as spelling check. This is something to think about if anybody will try to use these wallets. I haven't even mention dangers like malicious insiders or hackers.

5383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟[ANN]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 🌟🌟 on: February 28, 2019, 05:13:25 PM
I see everybody talking about the price because we have a week on the green side of things. I think we should talk about development and mysterious waiting for licensing.

I keep asking myself why tokenization first?

Atlant should be an Airbnb killer so rentals should be in the first place especially if tokenization platform is still questionable because of regulation and licenses.

Don't you think?

5385  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WATCH OUT PHISHING BLOCKCHAIN WALLET PAGE!!! on: February 25, 2019, 11:25:48 AM
...Which one on you image? Am I missing something?

Don't click on that link in google search only copy and paste and you will be redirected to this shop. I know strange and that is why I shared this.

If you come with the cursor on that link in google search you will see a google link. I wanted to share this link here and that is why I copied him. Later I wanted to open this page so I go to search bar and choose paste and go.

This is the link you will see when you put your cursor on the google search link:

https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwib8d2Jx9bgAhVD-FEKHckmB50YABAAGgJ3cw&sig=AOD64_3S7eTz6qslz2C_evltwnR37O1sXA&q=&ved=2ahUKEwj88NmJx9bgAhVMxxoKHc0RAEoQ0Qx6BAgEEAE&adurl=

Now copy and paste this link in a fresh window and you will see this car parts shop and if you click on that link in google search you will be redirected to this phishing wallet page.

Maybe this is why they were not detected by Google bots?

I hope this helps.
5386  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WATCH OUT PHISHING BLOCKCHAIN WALLET PAGE!!! on: February 25, 2019, 10:13:34 AM
Thank you for sharing that.

Phising websites have become rampant and scammers have found this new way of paying Google and promote them at the top. Something similar has happened with tronscan.org (it is the respective Block Explorer for the TRON network). Scammers have paid Google and when you type "tronscan" a phising link appears at the top.

Everyone Watch out... The best solution is to bookmark the websites that you have to access your wallets.

I just don't understand how Google can do it?

They are taking money from obvious scammers and put their phishing links on the top of search results.

You don't need any skills to know that this is a phishing scam.

How Google can do it??? Anybody?
5387  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please be CAREFULLY using trading polish platform Bitbay.net (OWN me 3000Eur) on: February 25, 2019, 10:07:19 AM
It was easy to write a few words about security reasons to hold the money but when members asked detailed questions and raised confirmed concerns there is no reply from the BitBay team.

This story doesn't look good and we all know that they are holding people money using self-made rules.

OP send money from his legal bank account and verified fully before deposit. If there are any concerns about security reasons or any other then the bank should be informed and money sends back. Period.

There is not much to talk about especially if there are plenty of other reviews from scammed in the same way people.

Good to know I will never use this exchange and hope OP and all other victims got their money back.

Shame on you BitBay!!!
5388  Economy / Scam Accusations / WATCH OUT MALICIOUS PAGE CLAIMS TO BE BLOCKCHAIN.INFO WALLET PAGE!! on: February 25, 2019, 09:47:56 AM
I wanted to log into my Blockchain.info wallet and made a fast Google search for the link when I was using for the first time fresh installed Firefox browser with no add-ons at all.

When I wrote "blockchain" in a Google Search bar I saw this as a search result in the first place:

What is strange that the link is not readable in Google search when you put the cursor on it, there is only this Google link visible at the moment:

https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwib8d2Jx9bgAhVD-FEKHckmB50YABAAGgJ3cw&sig=AOD64_3S7eTz6qslz2C_evltwnR37O1sXA&q=&ved=2ahUKEwj88NmJx9bgAhVMxxoKHc0RAEoQ0Qx6BAgEEAE&adurl=  WATCH OUT MALICIOUS DONT USE!!!

When you copy and paste this link you will be redirected to a car parts store, I assume phishing too:

And if you click in Google Search on that link, you will be redirected to this link and this page:

https://blóckcháin.com/wallet/#/login WATCH OUT MALICIOUS DONT USE!!!

Stay away from this site and always double check all links you click. The best way is to bookmark all the important links.

This is very strange, as you see when this link is copy and pasted, then redirects to a different page as clicked directly. I think somebody with a lot more extensive knowledge is needed to explain, why these links behave like this? I can only assume, that this has something to do with Google bots, but this is only my personal guess.

I have just published: [GUIDE]Beginners Protect Yourself from Ransomware!!!.

5390  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Run Own Betting site on: February 24, 2019, 06:33:58 PM
Why not post some samples of what you have to buy a little trust. Nobody would believe to newbie especially when there are only written words and no proofs.

Now OP you will have to answer scam accusation all day long.

With a few samples of what you have to sell, you could finish answering to offers.
5391  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 24, 2019, 06:29:49 PM
One of the oldest sites out there. They are paying for a very long time with no problems. I have always got my BTC paid from this site.

Thanks for sharing I haven't use them for a while. Is nice to go back after some time and see your BTC in the account are waiting for you.
5392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: February 24, 2019, 06:24:06 PM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?
VPNs are a wonderful thing. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who use them. Why not? Cheesy

He is not asking of VPN usage only if gambling would be illegal in your country then would you do it?

So I assume you would and use VPN to cover yourself.

Do you know that VPN is not enough to hide if somebody is targeting you even Tor?

Never worked for me.

No matter how big my stake was always finally I was drained empty.

There will be such a moment that there will be 16 or 20 reds in the row or 7 times 0 one after another and your money will be gone.
5395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 24, 2019, 05:57:32 PM
Keep asking myself how is this possible that there are almost 2500 posts in this thread and only 4 votes in the pool?

Is this a good and entertaining thread and that is why there are so many comments or not?

This doesn't make sens.
5396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites offers investment on: February 24, 2019, 05:53:10 PM
I am very interested to know which gambling sites are offering investments, I research it but it seems like information is not updated.
Please put the terms like the percentage and whatever necessary information that I should know.

I was just writing a comment a few minutes ago in a thread about scam ICO in the gambling industry.

I don't mention the name for a purpose to not advertise this scam anymore to anybody.

I hope this will give you a little thinking before investing in this type of ICO or any ICO.
5397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: February 24, 2019, 05:49:25 PM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

Simple question and my answer is no I would not.

Even if there are ways to hide identity if something is illegal you shouldn't do it because you can have a lot of troubles.

Especially when it goes about gambling there is no way I choose prison for a gambling session.
5398  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETKING & DEAN NOLAN: Disastrous Reputation! Read This Reddit Post. on: February 24, 2019, 05:44:46 PM
It appears it has a vry bad reputation...

Both of them (Dean Nolan and Betking) do have a very bad reputation. Dean Nolan just sent me this PM a short while ago:

"lol you are that sad that you made a script to post the second my thread was unlocked Smiley
get a life.

You wonder why no investors are posting in your thread? Because everything you have said has been asbolute shit and lies.
You have not even bothered to listen when I answered questions and instead just post until my reply is burried.

I also know about your very poor seo effort.

I take it you are paid by stake/pd or something?"

Seriously, is this the pathetic little worm that fooled investors in to parting with their money in the scam ICO?

I don't know if this is a scam and the story behind this ICO but he is right when he wrote in the message that there are almost no comments from investors in your thread.

I see you try to let people know about this and post to make this thread visible but still there are no comments from scammed investors.

Where are they? Why are they not complaining here?
5399  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free betting contest and new platform kings.ag on: February 24, 2019, 05:07:43 PM
This is just a random thread which is going to attempt to lure in your money and then run with it, if anyone is new on here know that that's something that CAN happen. Bet on trusted websites, and trusted websites only. Once your coins are sent, they are gone forever.

How this works

It doesn't. Don't bet on this shady site.

What the hell is this about, creating a thread with a single link only and the explanation is only on the title? I would not even risk my self to click the link, please try harder to get interest on what you want to share/advertise. What do you expect by posting link only? Miss click by some people?

Edit: OK you add some more information now and it is related to an ICO gambling project.

See I didn't think this site could get anyworse, but they've done it. #Surprised.

I just wonder why such a thread is not deleted by moderators?

It should be I assume fro sooner comments. Even if there is nothing malicious this is still a shady promotion.

Or maybe this is allowed in the gambling section? Can't find in rules.
5400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: February 24, 2019, 05:03:13 PM
it is very important that you take chances of winning and profit into consideration  once you decide to try your luck.
the other major factor that should be taken care of in the process of choosing the ideal casino in which you will play is the limit of the house .
for example when the currency is tossed into the air you know in advance that the chances of winning or losing are completely fixed at 1:2 or 50%-50%.
the same rules have been applied to gambling games .
in the online casino on the assumption that the roulette wheel has a 37_38 slot and that the standard playing standard for the card games package is 52 cards and that the dice has 6 faces .
in the case of US roulette the home limit is 5.6 which means that for every 100-unit  bet;5.6
blackjack is considered one of the best options ,offering the game with a home edge of only 0.80%.
the edge of the house in some other gambling games in the online casino sites:
baccarat1.17%
bikarat 1.63%
game joe poker 2.5%
by taking the numbers and ratios mentioned above ,we recommend focusing on playing craps ,blackjack and then the game of parkras.
if you are interested in playing a profitable game.

players who merge into the account of all options are quickly tired

Sorry to say but there is no profitable way to play in the casino in a fair way.

The only possibility to win in the long run is when you cheat in some way. counting cards, systems, playing in a team I don't know never did it by myself only played in casino multiple times and never won in the long run.

Tried all system available and never had luck so please reconsider your tactics.
