just trading bitcoin is not illegal anywhere in the world as far as i know, and so far all the arrests or problems with the law that i have seen was another type of problem like (most times) tax evasion, or money laundering, or scamming people, and other crimes which has nothing to do with bitcoin trading.

be careful when you want to "grow" your bitcoin because there are a lot of scammers out there who will take your bitcoins with the promise of profit and then run away with it and you will have nothing to even prosecute them because they were anonymous people on the internet who just had a website.

Cheers! I have a close friend who works there, he is reluctant to send me evidence or have me post it over the internet due to traceability, but I will keep you guys posted if he decides to do so! and i have 2 friends inside two of the major global organizations who both told me their gigantic organizations are going to invest bijillion dollars in bitcoin but they both told me they are reluctant to send me evidence.

i thought Chinese were already inside bitcoin! they have always been investing with a lot of money in crypto currencies. do you remember last year and what they did with litecoin around LTC halving? and do i even need to mention the mining farms in China?

don't use coinbase for "keeping" bitcoin. you can use them for purchase if you like but never keep your bitcoin there. there is a lot of risks when you hold your coins in a web wallet especially one that you have no access to private keys.
use blockchain.info for web wallet : high risk or use a desktop wallet which have lower risk if it is connected to internet and no risk if used always offline: bitcoin core : full node (>60 GB) Electrum : SPV wallet (30-40 MB)
or use paper wallet for max security.

nobody buys bitcoin on yobit! their bitcoin-fiat markets are so dead. the only reason why you are seeing buys now on yobit is because of the sudden price change which will lead to all exchangers balancing out their price but all the volume there is less than 0.1 most of the time.

yea
i believe bitcoin will become a real money
I think bitcoin already become a real money. You can buy something online with bitcoins. Especially today, the price of bitcoin is increase so high, it's make me more believe in bitcoin. bitcoin has always been a real money the only problem with bitcoin is that not everybody accepts bitcoin as payment so there is always limitations to where you can spend your bitcoin

it was bound to happen eventually, all these ponzi schemes should come to and end sometime. if they were a legit cloudmining service they would have continued working because of the price rise because they would have earned a lot more money to cover the maintenance fee

When I was a newbie here, I started with electrum wallet. As I read somewhere that the online wallets are not safe to store your Bitcoins and they can be easily hacked or the wallet provider could also run away with your Bitcoins. So due to this fear I started using electrum wallet from start.
yeah, generally any wallet that is not offline is not safe either. because you can be infected by a keylogger which you are not even aware of. also as far as "running away" goes, it is restricted to those web wallets which have access to your private keys instead of you like coinbase.

nobody in their right mind would continue using faucets. i have used them when i started using bitcoin but my usage didn't last long because with a simple calculation you can find out how much money you are getting back for the time you spend.
also my favorite was that famous faucet (freebit.co.in or something like that) where they had also a multiplier which you could play dice with your earning and have chance at gambling and maybe doubling your income.

buying 1 VGA some days ago and now im mining etherum, if my plan running smooth i will focus at bitcoin and next year ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) maybe middle 2017 or the end of 2017 You seem very confident about the future altcoin this one (etherum) lets see what will happen in etherum in recent years. I think you should still be careful on altcoin. some time ago etherum prices fell by more than 20% in one day. and it is very risky with your investments in etherum it is all about earning money with this coin. and buying a VGA is like an investment which you can always use to mine another coin which becomes more profitable in possible future. right now you can mine and dump eth (or dump at tops) for the ROI.

MS. paint hard at work

this is a valid concern that all of us who trade on any exchanger have. and there is not a damn thing that we can do about it. we have to accept this big risk if we want to continue trading.
reading the comments, USDT seems like an excellent solution but i am a little concerned about how good and reliable it can be. specially because i don't like having a wallet of any altcoin on my computer at all.

My initial goal when know Bitcoin is because of the speed and kindness in the transaction, but once I see more about Bitcoin goal now I not only to get the transaction/facilities of fast and cheap, but also to find a pretty good profit, namely investing for a long time and for currency, because the project is still in the stage of the Bitcoin introduction and after Bitcoin already up on the highest stage (FIX) then the price will be higher Bitcoin from now on.
yeah, also make sure to look at services like gyft which offer good discounts or gift cards at a very low rate. that way you can even save up more money just by using bitcoin. Yeah, there are lot of offers regarding gift cards at very low rate you just need to be on time when they are selling, because their supplies doesn't last when so many already ordered it. It is a good investment for buying those kind of gift cards. they usually have enough for their customers. the important thins is to only buy these things from trusted services like gyft or anything like it because there are many scams in this area which mostly buy it with stolen credit cards and can make some trouble for the buyer.

Was this a fraud??
most probably yes. this topic was created on 2015-01 and people asked for bet ID or username which OP said i don't provide because i will be hacked and even after (alleged) withdrawal no bet ID haha. another important thing is the number of loses before this win. he could have lost 10,0000,000 times before this and won once you can calculate his winning i am sure ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Martingale is one of the safest strategy of any betting games possible.
Although there is something called 'reverse martingale' but it is quite riskier than the former one. But if you can bet using both the strategies at quick succession, you can eventually succeed in the long run.
i agree. but i just want to add that martingale being a safe method doesn't mean it is a good method. because it is only safe in a sense that you are sure that ONLY if your bankroll can handle a lot of losses then you will be in profit after the last win after the losing streak.

i generally don't spend bitcoin much because there are so few places that i can spend bitcoin at. but also the scenario which is mostly applicable to these days is that i have bitcoin as an investment which is also rising in price so i prefer holding it rather than spending it.

earning money with bitcoin whether it is $5/h or it is $1000/h has nothing to do with being a "bitcoin newbie". you can earn any amount based on your skills and how newbie you are in those skills not in bitcoin.
so look to yourself and find your skills which you can monetize.
