Isn't this a security risk or something to openly say all of these adresses are coins?

Yeah, I don't get why you people don't jump right on this great opportunity.

Meine Coins kamen vor ein paar Tagen an, Danke!

Schreibt er inzwischen seinen Namen richtig auf den Coins oder steht im Hologramm immer noch CASACIUS statt CASASCIUS?

I would of certainly taken it.

The real Atlas wouldn't have made this error. You need to invest more time into proofreading your gimmick.

Posting off-topic is a no no. OTOH scamming and threatning to commit criminal acts against people seems to be OK.

Yup. Looking at the track record of who is being banned or not from these here forums and what they are being banned for or rather not, one has to wonder, how many of the admins and/or mods are on the payroll of these specifically "unbannable" scammers. And I say this as an admin of a forum several degrees bigger than this one. The way these "admins/mods" operate is highly suspicious and in no way congruent with the way any "admin/mod" should or would behave on any internet forum I have encountered in the last 20 years. Even if they just are oblivious to what is happening here due to neglect, they completely fail to recognize their legal responsibilities. This will more than likely - for lack of a better word - "fuck them in the ass" in the long run. "It's just Internet stuff" is no longer a valid excuse and any lawyer worth his salary is going to have a field day with this.

Sure. Just answer me 2 questions :

-how did you know how close the guy was to getting the bitcoins etc. !? what were the 6 steps etc.

-why did you do this ? what was in for you ? nobody does something for nothing.

I was the one who got to the 5th clue first. As that clue stumped me and I had to leave my computer for personal reasons, I contacted GoWest on his account on the 5th clue website, to tell him, a) I found it b) congratulate him on a nicely done game c) I'm not going to be the one to solve the complete riddle, as I had no time to keep playing the game. At that time, GoWest was online on that website waiting for people to contact him, under his scavenger hunt name. This was how he knew when the 5th clue was broken. No mystery involved.

Bittleships.com <--Next Stop!

Can't be. It says "If you're paying bitcoins to sink the battleship, you've been led astray."

5390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to bitcoin software, trouble downloading blocks on: November 11, 2011, 11:23:22 PM
So I know this question has probably been posted a million times, so I apologize in advance.  I received the email from bitcoin explaining that my funds were sent but when I pull up my bitcoin software, I get the blank program with my address and it says no transactions.  I emailed support to figure out what I'm doing wrong and the rep asked if I'd downloaded the blocks.  I didn't know I needed to do anything like this and even though I consider myself good with a computer this has me thrown for a loop.  I can pull up the email to view my transaction and it says I have the requested amount of bitcoin and it specifically says "address: received."  I'm so lost...again, I apologize for the "noobiness" of my post, but I'm in dire need of some help.  Can someone please explain to me what I'm supposed to do from here, and preferably in layman's terms?  I appreciate it!

Leave the client running. Down there in the status bar there should be a number slowly going up. These are the blocks being downloaded. By now it'll probably take a day or so of continuous running of the client for all of them to arrive. When they are all there, your transaction should be there too.

Yeah, unfortunately it's just an Atlas gimmick.  Embarrassed

The real Atlas would have screamed bloody murder and have accused me of being a scammity fraudster again for mentioning that bitcoin he owes me.

For everybody's lulz, the card's details which can be viewed at wellsfargogiftcard.com are:

This leads to a site blocked for potential malicious attack. What are you trying to pull here?
5396  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew, I wish to present you a gift. on: November 11, 2011, 07:50:55 PM
You may have noticed the defintions of humility you quoted don't mention value.

Everybody has things they are better at than the average person, while conversely, everybody has things they are worse at than the average person. People humble enough to recongnize this can exchange goods and services to their mutual benefit. If you do not recognize your limits or the ablilites of others, any exchange you enter into will likely be inefficient and sub-optimal.

To force people to accept a sub-optimal exchange involves coersion.

So people who are not humble steal?

Considering your aversion to humility and the fact that you indeed stole, the answer seems self-evident.

Ah, I love the raging hormone levels of the 17 year old. Unfortunately it's going to be such a "fall of the mighty" when biologically inevitably endogeneous levels will drop in 4 years. For people like Atlas who are cursed with such a strong emotional response to their hormones, this will mean a harder fall then for most. One can only hope, he'll live through it all.
5398  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many accounts has Atlas made and why isn't he banned yet? on: November 10, 2011, 07:22:51 PM
This is the weirdest Dragonball Z Episode ever.

Are they gonna fight in this one at all or do they only start next week?  Huh
5399  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many accounts has Atlas made and why isn't he banned yet? on: November 10, 2011, 05:46:12 PM

When or rather if Atlas should ever leave the nursing care of his parents and move out they should make a Reality TV show about his attempts at life on his own.

. They are running low on funding to buy such things

Yeah, well, maybe they should get a job instead of sitting around all day occupying things.
