I better pull my sell order at 123456 sats if I want to try some staking. May not still be there when I get up in the morning. Roll Eyes
5382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron - Fair Ninja Launch - Dynamic POS - 4.09% of BTC Nethash on: April 14, 2015, 04:56:23 AM
uhmmmm....why is there already over 100k TRON staked half way through a period that should only stake 30k?
because pow until block 3400?

Edit:good catch I dunno....maybe dev can jump in to explain

Dev, answer please?

I will check the block explorer right now. I'm also compiling and uploading the new windows wallet as I type. I'm exhausted and have been awake far too long but everyone in this thread has been good to me, so I work hard for all Smiley

It should be an easy check, there are 995k coins and there should be 905kish. I know you are tired but go look it will take 5 secs and no brainpower.
Math wrong on ANN, If all POW blocks were POW, it would yield the max coinage as 1,035,000.

600*500=   300000
300*450=   135000
600*400=   240000
600*300=   180000
600*200=   120000
600*100=   60000
max coins=   1035000

Nethash is dropping and we can still mine through block 3400.  Get the coins, because the market is about to boom. Remember 1.5 million total ever.  #altsareback

I thought POW was over?

"Block 2800 is last POW Block. POS starts at block 2700"
LOL, the dev quoted me and posted my error about POW ending on 2800. It ends at 3400. But he will fix it soon. Guess I'll lose my mention and kudos. Oh well.
5384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron - Fair Ninja Launch - Dynamic POS - 4.09% of BTC Nethash on: April 13, 2015, 01:40:29 PM
Block 2800 is last POW Block. POS starts at block 2700. POS reward to start is not percentage, but a set coin amount that has an interesting schedule. After block 21000, POS will be 9%.

Block 2800 is not the last POW block. The last POW block is at 3400. POS begins at 2700 though; from 2700 through 3400, you'll have both POW and POS blocks.
I think it is interesting the the dev quotes me on his ANN when I was partially wrong.  Cheesy

Ipominer is not the dev ...
No, look at the ANN on page one. The dev quotes me and I gave wrong information about POW ending at 2800. Roll Eyes  Ipominer corrected me but the dev thinks I explained the POS well. RFLMAO.

So, is this just a completely random pump or is there news?  Still not seeing anything from dev, no roadmap, and not even a decent ANN lol  Not trying to FUD (I bought some), but just not sure why it's going up, unless this is expected to be Crave 2.0.

The new price pump has come just before the next decrease in block reward. Someone, or some group wants to keep the miners happy. They will need us to be the large cheer section.

Hmmm that's interesting.  When does POW end?

Once you have recouped your original outlay/mining costs you have it made it in the shade!

So far its in the shade Cool lol

Which it isn't always this way  Cry
I think most of us miners are satisfied. I know I am. I even took some of my profit and bought more hash. But be warned. This is a good game. This pump and dump is going to be legendary. Hope we all catch it on the upswing.  Grin

Wake up, dudes!! 1st place in Bittrex!!! Cool
Last call for TRON Rocket...

Rocket ship reaching Mach 3
lol ya it sure going to the moon! nice  Wink

HAHA!! Grin Let's Go!

What's next after Bittrex?
sadness, despair, anxiety and the universal question ... do I continue to hold or dump lol  Cool

If people hold=moon... strength and interest are already here.
What's preventing the big growth is the fact that when minimum condition to take off appears, the miners not resist and put down... Leave this rocket go up folks! Smiley
Holding the coins is probably good strategy to counter this illusion of stability being created. Roll Eyes It's abundantly obvious someone or some group has set the price to be enticing enough to lure miners into dumping...

You would think the price will rise as we approach the block reduction at 2200? maybe  Grin
What ever it will take to keep the miners properly fed. Probably not by much.
5391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron - Fair Ninja Launch - Dynamic POS - 4.09% of BTC Nethash on: April 13, 2015, 01:01:11 AM
Well here is my newbie assessment, this coin will stay around to 40K-55K range until we get past block 2700. Once we get past that block and it looks like the staking is working properly, this coin will be pumped hard. Then, somewhere between block 20,001 -21000, the big dump will happen followed by the panic sell. By the time this coin gets to the 9% annual staking, it will only be kept alive by the bag holders, who will still believe the roadmap that will be put out for this coin will someday come true. They will believe the day will come when every trekkie, every sci fi fan, & every comic book lover, will use this coin exclusively to buy their memorabilia.

My coins were released from purgatory and dumped.  Grin

Bittrex is holding my coins hostage. May be part of the reason for the dramatic rise. If everyone's coins are being held hostage too. LOL

You all have valid points.

What to do huh

Sell or hold

I'm finding it hard to decide with this one.

Personally, I'm mining and dumping. Maybe I'll consider bag holding once I ROI.

I guess ipominer gets no love.  Huh Oh well, I guess the operator should toot his own horn to get noticed.

My little rockminer needs to be busy doing something. It's pointed at westhash and making those satoshis. Hope someone is appreciating the 80gh I'm selling them. Grin Yes, I know my rockminer is mining this coin in particular because the difficult matches the difficulty of this coin.

thx i make nice money by mining this still blocks left too!

I think I'll ramp it up just for you. 330Mhz setting here I come.

Cmon miners spread some hashes around, everything is at Suprnova right now.

We actually have better luck right now at suchpool, good way to grab more coins for cheaper!
ipominer could use some hash too. Dev, can you add them to the ANN or do you need the pool operator's permission?

i point my miners there nice pool  Smiley
Yes, only problem atm is there is not direct port for Tron on ipo, so it's possible you could end up with other coins too.

offer same as supernova than i come
Fee is 3%, and atm Tron is on multipool with no direct port to mine only Tron atm. So not same deal as suprnova.
