Will the electric car destroy petrol car?
There is major portion of society which will not afford the electric car. I think the electric car will make comport in our lives but there is a space available for petrol car also. Petrol is also a powerful fuel which are mostly consuming in machines.

With the temperature of the world getting higher and higher each day, switching from the fossil fuel powered cars to the electric car is the only to go or we will be dooming ourselves and the next generation if we don't do something about it . China has already said that they will be transitioning from gas powered cars to electric cars which in my opinion is good for the entire world, I hope other countries follow suit as well.

Total nonsense, as long as most cities power plants are run on coal. You are essentially just burning coal in your "electric car."
5382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: PC/Android/IOS wallet with fingerprint encryption? on: October 05, 2017, 04:42:48 PM
Hey guys, i want to ask if there is any wallet software which encrypts the wallet.dat file with our fingerprint data, so that instead of typing a password which can be compromised by a keylogger, that wallet software should use our fingerprint data and some how use that data to encrypt the wallet.dat file and it should ask for the fingerprint to send btcs etc. Do let me know if any wallet like this exists or not. If it doesn't i will try to make one.

Why isn't this a really bad idea?

I remember some pretty rational discussions when fingerprint ID appeared on Samsung and Apple IOS concerning the dangers of They getting Our fingerprint data.

But here it's worse. It's not the phone or machine operating system, but an app that's getting, and intending to use, the fingerprint data.

There are other problems. I have seen a number of fingerprint scanners that didn't work reliably over time. One usually winds up working if you clean the scan surface. The other works maybe 1/10 of the time and basically is junk.

....

My advice will be get 2-3, 32Gig usbs and install linux on them, get a copy of electrum and save the seed and use the same seed on all 3 systems, It will perfectly act as a cold storage for you. Good Luck.

I am curious, do you know (NOT do you believe or have an opinion...) that the same electrum seeded wallet on 3 machines will perfectly update all future transactions?

For sake of discussion let's say there is no importing of keys or scanning of paper wallets, because clearly that will cause the databases to be out of sync. Let's say there is just Electrum-generated activity.

I have Electrum wallet(Seed XYZ) on L1, L2, L3.

10/1/17 6 transactions on L1.
10/2/17 3 transactions on L2.

10/7/17 what shows on L3, L1, and L2?

5384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can someone help plz on: October 05, 2017, 04:21:42 PM
Hi can someone help plz boost this transaction.

I will be really thankful to you..

https://blockchain.info/tx/13e0d698c852565061970e512bb55f2f231e3f1bdcd80ce2de5f38731f8e87ea

Dumb question.

The transaction reads as a fee of 0.4USD. Is this after boosting or before?

5385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Scan QR code of paper wallet? on: October 05, 2017, 04:17:51 PM
....Always assume Facebook stores all your data for eternity....

For that matter, it'd be wise to not scan a private key with ANY square code app.

Apps are notorious for back end personal data thievery.
5386  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor or Paper Wallet? on: October 05, 2017, 04:13:02 PM
i prefer paper wallet. because trezor is hardware too and it can be hacked one day.

How can it be hacked if it is off-line and in safe storage?

The Trezor operates with (A) a hardware Trezor device (B) a cable (C) a computer that has the Trezor wallet software (D) a router (E) the Trezor web site (F) the Internet

Data flows are at least (A) periodic connection to the computer for access (B) block chain inquiries (C) downwards Trezor firmware updates

It's unreasonable to exclude as impossible, all possible attack modes.

Quantum computing has the ability to make any encryption obsolete and unusable. ...

I don't think so.

Quantum computing cannot make encryption methods devised with quantum computers obsolete and unusable....

What about using Crypto Steel?  I tried to order it once, but to no avail.

I saw that but in my opinion it offers no advantage, it's costly and not available.

Engraving machines for 60$, metal stamps for 30$, waterproof pens and paper with combination of paper laminator are all widely available and cheaper alternatives.

Metal stamps for 30$, upper case only so you do the hex codes.

Use a steel or copper plate and that's fireproof.

Use a passcode for the private key decryption, then there is not even a reason to hide it from view.

On Ebay there are stamping machines from China for stamping serial number plates will work and output nice neat little rows.

Metal beats paper.

Like Tesla FF91

Absolutely yes , Electric car will replace today's environmentally hazardous car. According to me, This replacement will save many of the creatures from becoming extinct. Electric car one of the best invention of our era.

If so then why are golf carts so horrible?
5390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: October 05, 2017, 03:46:28 PM
They don't hate people. We all have different beliefs and perspective in life. So those muslim people who are killing people and telling that that is holy war. That is absurd. Let's stop hating each other. For the betterment of our world, let's spread love and respect each other's belief.

Well you are about as contradictory as could possibly be there aren't you?

But those muslim people who are killing people and telling them it's a holy war would kill you for saying what they do is absurd. So are you going to go tell them to stop hating?

Or are you going to lecture to the non muslims to "stop hating each other....spread love and respect each other's belief?"
5391  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: October 05, 2017, 03:42:10 PM
....
The problem is that such sick people specifically shout to everyone that they cut off their dick. If they led a quiet life, then no one would know about this and the child's psyche would not be traumatized.

But if they led a quiet life they couldn't play the victim card. They'd get fired because they were incompetent, they'd lose friends because they are jerks, and they'd get treated like the person they really were.

Playing the victim card lets them be total jerks and incompetent and get by. Or so they try.

5392  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: October 05, 2017, 03:36:06 PM
no it is not true
thinking with logic, if islam hate people I believe this earth will be destroyed
I like to watch youtube videos dr. Zakir Naik, like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7Hr8bW5PyU
probably will answer all of what's in your brain about Islam...

Naik's a hater and you know it.

Like many Muslim's he's not even a good liar.

But hey, Takiyya....give it a try right?

What about using Crypto Steel?  I tried to order it once, but to no avail.

Well, consider that the base 58 used by Satoshi can be held in 6 bits.

Here's three characters in a row

 010101 011111 010111

1/8" holes spaced 1/4" apart, that is 5 inches wide.

Three characters in a row, eighteen rows of drill holes.

Anybody with a hand drill, a 1/8" bit, cutting oil, and a 6x6 piece of stainless steel can do this.

I've noticed that people here tend to comment on the original post in a thread that is many pages long, and then they leave without any discussion. They don't appear to to even read the last several posts in the discussion before commenting what they have to say.....

Bots.
5395  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to design a perfect cold storage? on: September 26, 2017, 11:33:10 AM
suppose you have the following tools available;

1. Two trezor hardware wallets
2.offline bootable pc with ubuntu
3.bitaddress.org siteburned to a CD

There are laser engraving machines that are selling on Ebay for $71 now. They look like a little 3d printer and you can hold one in one hand.

This type of machine would allow putting keys and squarecodes on anodized aluminum plates or painted steel plates. They would burn through the paint or anodized layer.

I suggest this as a way to avoid all the issues of paper getting wet, mildewing, rotting, catching on fire, etc.

Although it's possible that an engraved steel or aluminum plate would not survive a fire with the engraving legible. Still a gigantic improvement.
5396  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why islam allways blame? on: September 24, 2017, 05:22:33 PM
Facts such as in many countries, 40-60% of the Muslim population support those radical minorities.

Even that number may be an under-count. I know how the Taqiyya works. Many of these Muslims may be radical on the inside, but they will make sure that the outsiders get only a more moderate view of them. So I believe that the real figure is somewhere around 80% to 90%, rather than the figure of 40% to 60% which you had posted.

Right, so the vast majority of Muslims are liars.

While that would be an insult to a Westerner, these people are encouraged to lie from their Islamic principles.

The biggest evidence for this is that Islam continues to call itself the "religion of peace", when 99.99% of the religion-based terrorism in the world is being perpetrated by the Islamic militant groups. Islam permits anything as long as more people are converted to the religion. Ethnic cleansing, murder, rape, terrorism.etc are all allowed.

Unfortunately that is all too true.

Other religions to a fair degree are honest about the problems they have, and attempt to improve their conduct.

5397  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why islam allways blame? on: September 23, 2017, 04:18:04 PM
Modern control system always need an enemy and Muslims are quite suitable for this way as in any religious sect is the sect of extreme direction

If somewhere the words of the prophet of any religion can be interpreted in a multivalued - including from the point of view of killing infidels, then that's the answer to the question - why Islam?

You don't suppose that the fact that Muslims are responsible for 31,780 murderous attacks on innocent people since 9/11 might be the reason?

Not that "Modern control system always need an enemy?"

(But if they DID NEED AN ENEMY, the members of Islam with their 31,780 attacks certainly have provided one).

Apologists for Islam always try to minimize the number and variety of their own peoples' suicide and terror attacks.
5398  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: September 23, 2017, 04:08:30 PM
islam NOT hates people  . our government and media hate islam so that they create ISIS and other .

Are jews people and should they be respected? Are gays people and should they be respected? Are ex muslims people and should they be respected?

Is sex with slaves permitted? Let's look at the infamous Zakir Naik tell.

He is pure evil.

I think global warming is real, we can disturb the earth is getting warmer, compare when we were children. will be sleeping with today. so I believe that global warming is real

If someone doesn't believe in global warming, slap them in the face. They need to be woken up from the fantasy they're living on. Be real. Its everywhere right now. Stronger typhoons and hurricanes. Drought. Earthquakes. It may seem like signs that the world is going to end already but it's global warming

There is no scientific finding that "global warming causes earthquakes."

Slap yourself in the face now please.
