5381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: December 16, 2019, 03:53:33 PM
What is the most reason to buy new token or new coin, to trade it in the market or to spend it if there something to spend it?

If you are purchasing a relatively new token, then you can't expect it to be accepted in a lot of places. So obviously the vast majority of the users are accumulating them for trading or for long term investment. I would not prefer the latter, as a number of new coins and tokens have got delisted from the exchanges recently. Once that happens, all of your capital is gone.
5382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 16, 2019, 03:46:48 PM
Bounty hunters can make enough money for whole year from a single project. That's true some project always scam but some project gives us great profit.
What projects give us big profits? can you call it here, because from 2018 until now there are no more projects that give us huge profits, in fact more projects are scam than non-scam.

I have to agree with you here, because I was actively participating in bounties during the 2017-18 period. Initially, there were a number of projects that used to pay good rewards. I know cases where some of the participants received as much as $3,000 worth of tokens from a single campaign. But all of that changed by mid-2018. By then, the max. rewards had halved to somewhere in the vicinity of $50 per campaign.
5383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 16, 2019, 03:34:23 PM
Another post to discourage the crypto people and this is some kind of a negative exposure of ETH but good for the coin.  We are not really convinced that ETH will reach to its lowest point of zero. I find ETH as one of the strongest altcoin and it will surely goes with Bitcoin's growth.

Obviously with so many users, Ethereum will never become completely worthless. But at the same time, will you be happy in case there is a price decline of 50% or 60% within an year or so? The biggest problem with Ethereum right now is that the developers are not working as hard as they used to do in the past. I heard that they are busy enjoying their vacations in the go-go bars of Pattaya and Phuket.
5384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 03:23:14 PM
I have bought BitBall, stellar, engine and some Ethereum after doing some research.
Exchange tokens are like thousands out there, exchange closes and down goes the coin and the funds with the exchange.

I am OK with Ethereum and Stellar, but in my opinion it will be better to stay away form these smaller and little known coins such as Bitball and Engine. Most of the smaller altcoins have lost 90% or more of their value during the last few years and there is no chance of a revival lurking in the horizon. The best thing to do will be to trust the established coins.
5385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: We've sold around 70,000 ETH at All-time High on: December 16, 2019, 03:17:01 PM
Reading this news, I imagine Vitalik Butt and Charlie Lee dancing on top of corpses. How many uninformed people lost their life savings? They dump it from the pre-mined coin.

It's not cool guys!

Well.. I can't completely agree with your post, but still it makes a lot of sense. If I am not wrong, the Ethereum ICO listed more than 60 million coins in 2015 (more than half of the current circulating supply). IMO, the premine proportion in ideal cases should not be more than 20% to 25% of the total supply. But still, since the investors benefited from the bull run, we can't really complain about it.
5386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 16, 2019, 03:10:09 PM
LOL.. I had warned about this earlier as well. The IEOs are showing a very similar pattern when compared to the ICOs. Similar to the ICOs, the IEOs also started with quite a few promising projects. There was good demand from the investors and the development timelines were being honored by the promoters. After a while, the scammers started entering the market, and with that the number of quality projects began to decline. The same happened with IEOs as well.
5387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 16, 2019, 02:41:17 PM
If I am not wrong, one of the earliest Bitcoin exchanges (BTC-e) was based in Kiev (the capital city of Ukraine). But the government was very hostile towards the idea of cryptocurrency back then, and the exchange was forced to shift their operations to Sofia (in Bulgaria). Had the government taken a more tolerant stance then, a lot of jobs and tax revenue would have got created and the Ukrainian public would have benefited out of it.
5388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 16, 2019, 02:15:14 PM
This thread reminds me of another one which I came across a few years back. One individual found out that his wife was cheating on him. He first converted most of his assets to Bitcoin (in order to hide them) and then sent a divorce notice to his wife. His wife claimed that he was hiding most of his wealth and requested the judge to send the guy to prison. I don't know what happened in the end.. but that thread was quite old (probably from 2013-14).
5389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 16, 2019, 02:09:25 PM
Mitchell Starc may prefer to play for his country first and do not care much about the IPL money but most of the Asians cricketers will prefer these leagues over their national team. This does not mean the Asian cricketers are greedy for money but actually they do not get the respect which they deserve from the cricket board.

I am not sure about this. The Asian players, especially the Indians always prefer the national duty over franchise T20 leagues. Even Sandeep Lamichhane, the sole Nepali player appearing in these franchise leagues decided to represent his national team rather than taking part in one of the T20 leagues. The same goes for Sri Lankans, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis as well. They have always given preference to national duty.

OZ 296 runs win over NZ is really a big win and considering the way they have beaten them is really an achievement as they have shown all round performances in all department and definitely the favourite for 2nd test match too .

They should have enforced the follow on, as it was possible for them to win by one innings. The Australian captain decided against it, because one of the bowlers (Hazlewood) was injured. But even with that handicap, they managed to bowl out the Kiwis for less than 200 in both their innings. Anyway... now the boxing day test match is going to be an exciting one. New Zealand for sure will be looking for revenge.
5391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 16, 2019, 01:56:12 PM
I serious think that if Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the captain he would have approached the game differently as he was the best captain India ever had and Kohli is not known to win games as a captain but Mahendra Singh Dhoni was a specialty was to bring something and do something to break the partnership especially in ODI and T20 he was the best captain ever.

Being a fan of the Indian cricket team, I think that it will be better not to compare the two players, as they have very different styles of captaining the team. As of now, Dhoni is well past his prime and may take part only in a select few matches per year. So the captaining responsibility will be with Virat Kohli for at least the next 5-6 years.
5392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying coffee with cryptocurrency on: December 15, 2019, 05:40:38 AM
The year 2020 is making all these big guys on thinking to have their own Digital Coin.

And their plans are not going to get realized. The latest statements from Mark Zuckerberg and David Marcus indicate that they are looking for an honorable exit from the Libra project. Zuckerberg has realized that by going ahead with the Libra project, he had tried to bite off more than he could chew. All these people just want to use the idea of cryptocurrency for promoting their own corporations, without acknowledging the original inventor (Satoshi Nakamoto). It is not just unethical, but unprincipled as well.
5393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 15, 2019, 05:34:00 AM
The issue of projects not keeping to their promises is very popular in this industry. Even the airdroppers and bounty hunters are aware that anything could happen to their reward. Projects are quick to accuse bounty hunters for dumping the price of the tokens and this has always resulted in the project shifting the goal posts.

This issue has been discussed many times in the past. I don't understand why everyone is quick to blame the bounty hunter, when the bounty pool is just 1% or 2% of the total allocation. Can the price of a token manipulated with just 1% of the total supply? If that is the case, then it proves that the project has no liquidity. If the promoters are so sure about the viability of the project, then why can't they buy back this 1% at half the listing price and then sell these tokens later at a profit?

Finally day 5 for Pak vs SL has some playing time.Want to know is there any audiecne for this match? Cheesy

Well.. there is good news at last... Dhananjaya de Silva managed to hit a century, after batting continuously for 5 days (this may be a new world record, although I am not sure about it). Apart from that, there is hardly anything to cheer for both the sides. Naseem Shah managed to pick two wickets (although after conceding 92 runs), and this will boost his morale after the thrashing he received in Australia.
5395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 15, 2019, 05:09:07 AM
This is one of the main issues bounty hunters face when participating in campaigns that don't have the funds escrowed in advance or that aren't run by a reputable campaign manager, so make sure you DYOR into each campaign to avoid wasting time and effort on offerings that might be potential scams
Not trust bounty campaign manager make us waste time for joining bounty campaign and not received reward any more, although project failed when bounty campaign manager trusted they will announce with their campaign failed during ICO is not success, but whit bounty campaign success on ICO always delay distributed coin for bounty participants.

Hmm.. this was one of the reasons why I stopped doing bounty campaigns and then switched to a campaign that paid me in BTC rather than in tokens. Very few of the ICOs are successful nowadays and even if some ICO is listed in an exchange they delay the distribution of bounty. The excuse being given is that if they distribute the bounty quickly, then the hunters will dump all their tokens and crash the prices. But the real reason is to give enough time for the promoters to dump their tokens in the exchanges. The bounty hunters will get their tokens, only after the dumping by the promoters is complete.
5396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun’s Weibo Account Has Officially Been Shut Down on: December 15, 2019, 04:55:32 AM
I won't be much concerned about this particular incident, but I am definitely bothered by the huge losses being accumulated by various TRX investors. This was a currency which had a market capitalization of around $15 billion two years back. Now this amount have been reduced to less than $1 billion. And rather than taking up the development tasks with TRX, Justin Sun is busy wasting his money on useless things (such as the well publicized $4.6 million lunch with cryptocurrency hater Warren Buffett).
5397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 15, 2019, 04:38:01 AM
India vs WI match begins today the first ODI which is going to be played in Chennai and weather is not that great as it might rain as well . India has not played ODI since August and this match could just not be up to mark if WI picks up quick wickets and bats well.

According to the predictions, it may rain during the second innings. The side which bats first may get their full 50 overs, and the rain intervention may happen during the second half. The pitch at MA Chidambaram Stadium has historically favored the batsmen, but it is also regarded as one of the spin-friendly tracks in the sub-continent. The last ODI here was two years back, and then Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal had picked 5 wickets between them.
5398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: December 14, 2019, 05:30:33 PM
Looking at the recent market situation, the dominance of BTC have a destruction factor with taking the huge percentage of money flowing into cryptocurrencies. Bringing back the smart money to altcoins will take a lot of time and money due to the fact that many investors lost the confidence.

3-4 years back, the Bitcoin dominance was close to 90%. But after that it declined and reached the rock bottom of 33% sometime in 2017-18 (when the ICO craze was at its peak). Now once again the market share of Bitcoin is growing. So rather than Bitcoin taking the market capitalization away from the altcoins, we can say that BTC is simoly regaining the market share it lost previously.
5399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Trust Libra Coin With Your Money? on: December 14, 2019, 05:18:39 PM
Well.. it depends a lot on the listing price and other technical details. If a majority of the analysts believe that the listing is overpriced, then the response from the investors may be dull. Also, it needs to be seen whether the investors outside the United States will be able to purchase Libra in a legal manner. But all these factors are secondary. Libra needs to get clearance from the US regulators first.

Not just Lyon, but Marnus Labuschagne is also there as the spin option. During the first innings of New Zealand, he had taken the crucial wicket of Mitchell Santner. But that said, with both Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins bowling in peak form, I don't think that the spinners may get much opportunities to bowl their spells.
I think Lyon will play a major role in picking up the wickets in the final two days, if you are talking about part time bowlers then Australia does have some good part time bowlers like Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith as both can bowl decent leg spins and Travis Head is a multi talent who can bowl off spin as well as a good wicket keeper. Australia will win the match with the way they bowled in the first innings and how long New Zealand can prolong the match is the interesting part.

Hmm... I missed Travis Head in my post. He is a wicket keeper with 42 first class wickets to his name!!! So for spin options, they have Lyon, Labuschagne, Smith and Head. Starc/Cummins need to share the pace bowling work load. There are no medium pacers among the batsmen and therefore they should depend on spin in case these two bowlers need some rest. Two days remaining in this match, and therefore we are certain about a result.
