Investing in cryptocurrency may be noticed as one of the most successful ways to make money but it could also be said as one of the unfortunate ways that people use to lose a bulk of their money while on the internet. Don't follow the crowd. Don't buy because everyone is buying. Read about why they are buying before you join them.

I don't have issues with those who think ethereum will surpass bitcoin but what I want to comment is that maybe they mean in terms of market capitalization which may take years of adoption. We all know that bitcoin is the most trust crypto in the world of cryptocurrency and even the hodler of ethereum always wished they changed their tokens to a more secured and trusted coin, bitcoin.

As more people come to learn about crypto, bitcoin value will keep increasing as the first crypto they'll buy is btc and then later, learn about the others.

It depends on what made the token price to go down. If it is as a result of what we see currently, that is, just a bear market which cannot be controlled, then I think it is better to hodl and if possible, buy the dip. But if it's because of a bad news like a bug in the project code or anything that will lead to a subsequent massive sell, be happy to have heard it early and sell.

One thing you must bear in mind is that every person started hodling at a time different from when you started hodling and moreover, you have a different target before considering it as a profit. Someone will be OK with just a 50$ added to their principal and others will see this as a total failure. So people removing their bitcoin, as I do say does not mean bitcoin is losing people but they are just taking their profit and they will surely come back and buy again.

In five years time, cryptocurrency will be the world's known currency as the popularity of crypto is increasing and everyone will be willing to have some of these cryptos in hand.

Investing little by little is a good way to make an investment in a sense that it helps you to escape losses that would have been inevitable if you invested with all your money at once. With this idea, you buy when price are falling but don't be too happy to buy much.

as the OP said, the current market is not so bad and a good strategy put in place will help you to make yourself something good. I think we all move with the market. We take the little profits and buy from the start again. This is what others are doing on the market. The withdraw their monies when they gain something small and buy after they dump the price and we cry together and say, "hodl" is good.

Some altcoins will survive and we have already seen this in recent times when they rise with a rise in bitcoin. Altcoins are not so much different from bitcoins. What can happen to bitcoin can happen to altcoins. The only difference is that bitcoin is the first crypto currency and the others are cryptos created apart from bitcoin.

this is already happening almost everywhere. World governments are confused as to accept bitcoin and crypto in general or not but the fact is that they will eventually accept bitcoin one day and that will be the day bitcoin will get to $1m per coin. They fear to see this happen but it will happen.

This is not an unexpected trend in bitcoin market and cryptocurrency market as a whole. You should understand or know why bitcoin price is falling and stop making conclusions that bitcoin will become an altcoin just because it is falling. Do you actually know the price of bitcoin last year by this time? If you know and compare, you will realize that bitcoin is really improving and never going back.

One major problem out there is that people think that crypto is under the control of some people who determine how the price should move. This idea makes people reluctant to invest in bitcoin because they fear all their money could be changed to something worthless in the nearest future if these people decide to do something bad to bitcoin hodlers.

I don't usually panic when prices are falling. And moreover, it's either I sell or hodl for a specific amount of time without checking for the price of that coin. I don't care if the price should fall below reasonable price fall.
