I believe in ethereum as long as the coin exists. I like it the way i like internet. Given the volatility of cryptocurrency, its prices go up and down. And ethereum is no exception. So it went down when the market suffered depression. Now its prices are rising higher as compared to other coins. I think ethereum will hit $ 900 by the middle of the year 2019.

It is not the case that old coins will not rise in prices. The features that determine the increment of a coin in prices are project team, its technology, its purposes etc. If the project team is strong and sincere and its technology is good, the coin is likely to rise. Take the example of ripple, it is an old coin, but it rose significantly only after five years of establishment. And now it is rising. 

Not at this point of time, as ethereum is a good investment and its prices are rising. You can see its prices which were down significantly as compared to other coins, but now it is rising back. And it will go upwards in prices. The coin is projected to hit at least $900 by the middle of the year 2019. So wait for at least half a year.

Yes it is true that many ICOs are just scams. But it will not be good to blame others just by referencing to few scammers. It is also true that most coins have not started doing what they are established for. But the good news is that they are serious to fulfill their purposes and have started doing to serve the people, and many countries are accepting cryptocurrency.   

Yes we know that cryptocurrency has become a platform for many to make a living. You can earn money simply by joining bounty campaigns. But my suggestion is that you should not quit your job just simply for cryptocurrency. The benefit is that you can take both your job and cryptocurrency side by side. I agree with you friend. Many have been saying that 2020 will be a good year for cryptocurrency as it will increase significantly in prices. You know that the year 2018 is the year of regulations and as a result, there is not significantly stride in cryptocurrency.
