I know a lot of people like ethminer because it's free and has no dev fee, but seems like Phoenix miner it's a little bit faster from my tests
From my tests, Phoenix miner is also a little bit faster... And it is also very stable... So I use Phoenix miner now... |

Можно ли в Trinity кошельке заюзать сид от старого кошелька версии 2.4.0 (создавался осенью прошлого года).
Сид у меня почему-то 80 символов, а Тринити требует 81 символ...
допиши девятку в конец, должно сработать вообще, насколько я помню, если сид XY...Z меньше 81 символа, то он эквивалентен XY...Z9...9 (где ровно 81 символ) Спасибо, сработало! И как ни странно, все монетки даже оказались на месте... Сильно боялся нарваться на танцы с бубном... |

Since the infected windows binaries of Ducat wallet appeared around 1 or 2 weeks ago, I’m a bit hesitant to use any new altcoin wallet.
Apparently, the ducat wallet had a modified code that scanned and stole all of the other wallet.dat files it found on a %AppData% and this exploit wouldn’t show on a virus scan either. So, I’m thinking what are the ways to protect against this.
I'm not asking about protecing the coins that are supported by hardware wallets, I'm asking about those less known altcoins. First step is of course to encrypt the wallets with a good password, but what else can we do?
At the moment I’m using Sandboxie that hosts the altcoin wallets, but the free version only supports to have one sandbox, so that’s not good.
I’m thinking one solution would be to get a paid version and then I would be able to run each wallet on their own sandbox. That way, if the wallet is infected the same way, it will only find its own wallet.dat file and nothing else.
What do you think? Would that work? What are other ways to protect against these and similar exploits that the virus scanners won’t detect?
Use all new wallets for sh*tcoins on the VM (VirtualBox for example)... In this case hacker can stole only those sh*tcoins from VM... But I don't think he will waste his time on it... |

Hi, have a problems with the last Litecoin Core 0.16.2. 1) I created new wallet and made a backup. 2) I noticed that there was no address in "Receiving address" window and I created new: MSXTigm4X35U3xGk3YN8r1kUarL66yezGL. 3) I send a small ammount of latoshi to this address just for test... Then I tryed to test my backup: I restored it and noticed that there is no new created address MSXTigm4X35U3xGk3YN8r1kUarL66yezGL and my balance is 0. Why??? Also block explorer https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/ display "Invalid Address". Why??? You have to create the backup (wallet.dat) AFTER you create the receiving address. Should I backup wallet.dat every time I create new address? Sometimes new change address created automatically after transaction... So should I backup wallet.dat after each transaction??? |

When this miner hangs, my rig continues to consume the same power...
It looks like it doing POW for somebody else and can do it many hours if I not detect it and restart the miner...
WTF?

Эфиром нужно было тариться по 170$. Сейчас цена уже 190$. Основной же рост цены пойдет после конференции в Сан-Франциско 5-6 октября, на которой будет представлен перечень обновлений и результаты работы за последнее время команды эфириум. Рост может быть очень внушительным, поэтому лучше заранее закупаться ЕТН пока цена все еще ниже 200$.
я вообще ждал 150 долларов чтобы закупиться, биток чуть подорожал и все за ним подскочило, эфир сейчас сильнее вырост по сравнению с другими. Когда биток сходит на 6200 вот тогда и эфир скатится до 170, но я все же подожду 150. Сейчас наверняка ложный отскок пошел по всем альтам. Не наверняка, а точно, т.к. не было повода что бы так отскакивать, идем пока вниз и когда закрепимся на 120, вот тогда можно и будет подумать о том что бы пойти вверх. Что-то мне кажеться, что после такого резкого падения, внизу мы закрепляться уже не будем... И рост будет таким же быстрым, как и падение... |

Here we go, first beta of new AMD miner for Windows - wildrig-multi This is beta, so monitor your rigs time to time please and report about any issue in discord mining channel. Default dev-fee is 2% and can be reduced(see wildrig.exe --help). Currently supported cards: RX 460/470/480 and RX 560/570/580(also some RX550). Later will add Vega. For those who expect viruses - I'm an author of original WildRig, so... Does anybody tested this miner? How profitable it is in compare with NVidia miner? Is it any sense to mine RENESIS on AMD GPU? |
