541  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Senador robin pro blockchain din on: September 22, 2023, 04:16:45 AM
https://legacy.senate.gov.ph/lisdata/2734023571!.pdf
https://bitpinas.com/regulation/sen-padilla-blockchain-bill/

542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 22, 2023, 04:04:48 AM
Since I haven't personally used a trading bot yet, it's difficult for me to comment on its usability. Now, based on my research into trading bots, it appears that few people claim that they benefit from them. Nobody has claimed to have made a lot of money with a trading bot that I have come across.

In addition, those who make such claim are merely pushing a trading bot. At this time, the information I found in the article I investigated is conflicting, and others may argue that it is profitable but not a surefire way to make money. Because it is not guaranteed, however someone has claimed that the daily return on investment is between 0.1% and 0.5%.

544  Economy / Economics / Re: Sabine Hossenfelder - Web3: World-changing tech or just a scam? on: September 22, 2023, 03:41:43 AM
It's exciting to see more and more conversations about crypto in the mainstream. We're at a crucial point in its evolution, and while there are hurdles like scams and volatility, these are common in any burgeoning industry. Remember, even the internet faced skepticism in its early days. As awareness grows, so will responsible practices and regulations. It might seem slow now, but each discussion, each project, is a step towards a future of widespread crypto adoption. Baby steps lead to giant leaps.

Not all influencers or streamers that discuss cryptocurrencies are accurate in their explanations; the majority of what they say is inaccurate; some are only interested in views; and still others who include a link in their channel description are once more phishing. So, use what is necessary with caution.

Let's simply say that while most of us benefit from the internet, scammers have also been able to take advantage of it. The OP provided a video, so it's possible that he is a scammer or that he is not, despite the fact that bitcoin popularity is also growing through the internet.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Free Investment tips on: September 22, 2023, 02:56:59 AM
2. Network: This is not the networking that others think of here. This is not inviting acquaintances or friends to scam you. What I'm saying is "building a network." When you build a connection, for example, by simply helping your neighbor, it can give you or us a network because we meet different people every day. Who knows, one day or not, we know that our neighbor will help us one day so that you can have a good opportunity or job or have a good client. Even on the internet, connecting with like-minded people like us can go a long way toward your advancement.
A network includes many people will be perfect for Ponzi and scam altcoins. I am sure when you are a member in a cryptocurrency community like a group of people, you will be exposed with many lectures, invitation, introduction on potential projects.

I don't think many people are able to do their own research well enough to avoid scam projects. So the more exposure you get, assumes you get it from your community, network, the more risky chance you will invest in scam projects.

Learn, do your own research and don't join any network.

I think you are misunderstanding the essence of the network.  A network of people is a powerful tool for the success of a business.  Network does not only mean Ponzi schemes and scams since if you have a network of people that are influential, you can have their support to grow your business or make things easier for you.

The world does not only revolve in cryptocurrency, in fact, the cryptocurrency industry is only a small thing compared to other industries, and the people on top of the chain have enormous influence due to their network of people so I think you should have to do your own research and see how important to have a network of influential people is.

I also agree that among the list it is only our own time that is free but others' time isn't.  In order to get other's time we have to spend something in order for other to give their time to us.

I don't think that's what Op wanted to convey in the topic he made; you said that because that's your assumption in understanding the explanation he made. As far as I can see, he is not as literal as you think. That's why he is not literally networking, as we know most of us are used to. Which is true; we can build a network without realizing that money is not involved.

Alright, let's say that cryptocurrency is still small in the business industry compared to others, but cryptocurrency is already in the business industry, and as time goes by, the percentage of its dominance in the whole world is also increasing, and you know if you know that. And if you know that, the reason why it is increasing is because of the network of communities that believe in it.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: September 22, 2023, 02:45:22 AM
You have pointed out a good discussion. And you have made valid points too. I have a small example which will elaborate it more and it will be easy for many people to understand.

You must have seen one or two topics related to above image in which OPs were saying that BTC is a great hedge against inflation and some were emphasizing that, investment is better then filling all wishes. This same example fits right in your topic too. Because one if have Iphone 14 pro max then he /she must think to buy Iphone 15 pro max while thia is just a wish not some need. But still people prefer to buy it instead they would have bought 0.03+ BTC. And that would increased their portfolio.

The point is, one would say, he have saved enough now he wanted to fulfil his wishes but he might be wrong too. Because world has unexpected events for you which might become expensive so it is better to save funds and invest them so that they would not lose value over time due to inflation.

That's right, because I also saw something like that on Facebook, and I don't understand why there are prices in each iPhone category. This is what I saw.

Also, if there is Bitcoin, it is not practical for me to use Bitcoin to pay for a branded and expensive iPhone; it is a luxury. Isn't Samsung open to Bitcoin too? But they don't show anything like that, do they? It is not practical to use bitcoin for payment, especially since we are approaching bitcoin halving next year.
547  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 1bilyon worth from offshore pogo konektado on simcards, sa panloloko at iba on: September 20, 2023, 05:42:03 AM

548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 20, 2023, 05:28:04 AM
Keep in mind that all trading professionals employ technical indicators. Most people use it since they are aware that it can indicate, at the very least, the foundation around which a certain trader would make their prediction. If there are no instruments to base it on, we cannot just hazard a guess.

These signs appear to be comparable to a map, where we as navigators use a compass to decide which direction we are traveling in and where, even if we get lost, if we have a map, we will know which direction we are traveling. I hope you understand.
549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 20, 2023, 05:16:36 AM
What criteria do you use when buying and selling? Let's share some tips and expertise.

For me, the three most significant factors are as follows:
1. Bitcoin halving.
2. A decrease in currency value due to economic downturns.
3. Sustained participation and growth of investors.

Therefore, I make a continuous effort to stay updated with all the news to track numbers 2 and 3 consistently.

I think No. 2–3 will not be effective for scalpers who like day trading or short-term trading. Also, another such opportunity is that most communities in this industry are now preparing for the upcoming Bitcoin halving and bull run.

And one of the main things that crypto or bitcoin enthusiasts are doing right now is doing the dollar cost average; they don't want to miss the opportunity that will come next year's bull season. Even though two bull runs have passed, I have not even prepared to hold anything to make a profit in this matter, so this time too, I will not allow myself to keep anything.
550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 20, 2023, 05:05:18 AM
Looking to get some real-world feedback on trading bots, the pros, the cons and the most important question... do they work?

So please, only comment below if you're actively using trading bots and how successful they are.

Why didn't you even state whether you utilize a trading bot? The majority of people are aware that the trading bot is not profitable; the only individuals who use it are those who want to make money through trading but do not wish to engage in actual cryptocurrency trading.

According to my own observations, copy trading, AI trading, and trading bots are all the same; they're just used for the actual trades. This is because it seems like the platform is paying someone else to perform the work we should be doing, so we just pass the work along to them.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 20, 2023, 04:49:11 AM
According to what I know, the beauty of no KYC in a casino is that when it comes to the anonymity of a gambler, it is encouraged because of the privacy issue. In addition to that, the casino also offers fast account creation and faster withdrawal. No KYC is attractive for online casino gamblers.

But of course, if you are the type that wants no KYC casinos, you should know the reputable casinos that have a good track record in the crypto gambling business that you will also enter. Don't just deposit a large amount; just make sure that the casino is legitimate. casino, you will gamble, and some of the casinos that I think are okay are the following:

552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 20, 2023, 04:27:16 AM
If you have $500, you can gamble with $25. That is 5% of the money that you have or that you are earning. This has been what is helping me not to get addicted. Some people may have slightly lower percentage or higher percentage, but they must follow the rules and strategies they have on money management. If gambling more than that, it is becoming addiction. If you have a relationship, like girlfriend or wife, gambling can affect if you are not able to meet your financial needs but spending most on gambling.

For example, if your monthly salary as an employee is $500, 5% of that amount can be allocated to gambling if you can't stop yourself for a month. Because of this habit, I can say that you are at least a responsible gambler. But if you use $500 in the casino online, you obviously have an addiction, and that is not normal for an addicted gambler.

The fact that you don't have a gambling addiction and knowing that your husband doesn't like gambling can affect your relationship with your family; how much more if you have a gambling addiction? In addition to that, when you have an addiction, you can also not listen to your friends who are close to you who remind you of your gambling.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 20, 2023, 04:04:46 AM
Online gambling platforms exists not only to get you some lucky wins, it's also another form of entertainment,  but I will like to ask if truly you people are getting that entertainment from gambling?

We can see what the world is becoming now, things are getting harder and what's on peoples mind is how to make even more money, there is no time, there are too many responsibilities,  are you sure you getting entertained?

Some people already feel like they are not having fun, because what they have in mind is making money, to all people that feels this way, If you feel like you aren't having fun I believe for the greater good, it's better to take a break from gambling and do something else.

Do you agree or disagree?

I believe that most people end up messing themselves up with gambling because to them everything is money, money, money, and this can stop your brain from becoming a responsible gambler, the sense of protecting yourself from gambling addiction can get lost if you are already not having fun with gambling anymore.

I agree with your other statements. Now, how did you say that other gamblers think that gambling can be a source of income and that while they are playing in the casino they are not happy? Because they think that this is a source of income, and when they win, of course it also gives them satisfaction, or they are also happy, apart from the fact that he has earned something from winning gambling, that is, if he stopped immediately and took out the money immediately he/she won.

Although it cannot be denied that there are others who really gamble just for fun or entertainment, they don't care if they win or not because their aim is just for amusement.
554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 19, 2023, 08:15:21 AM
We know that the phishing link does not choose a place; as long as there is an opportunity, it will immediately be placed where the scammer wants. Then it is also true that customer support in every casino says that the security of our account is up to us as gamblers and how we manage it properly. I agree here and have no questions about this matter.

That's why, if you read here in the forum, most of the communities here are saying to always be prudent and sensitive about the actions and strategies of exploitative scammers or hackers who can steal our assets from our balances on any gambling platform.
555  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 19, 2023, 08:04:48 AM
Casino not asking for Kyc to register? Or maybe those who signed up at the casino don't read the TOS that there is a KYC required? Because often the problems that are read are always the ones that the gamblers think that there is no KYC, but when there is an investigation, the problem is also with the complainant because he overlooked that it was written in the TOS.

That's why it's also important to somehow read this policy so that we don't come back just in case we have an issue with the casino in the end. I have read many such issues here in the forum, to be honest.
556  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May politician kaya na pro Bitcoin or may crypto investments? on: September 19, 2023, 07:52:24 AM

The Philippines' Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered an investigation into a cryptocurrency firm that allegedly used the name of Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III in order to lure clients.
The politician, commonly known as "Koko" Pimentel, was allegedly misrepresented by Digital Currency Co. Ltd. and Boy Joven in a cryptocurrency venture called Philippine Global Coin, according to a department order released yesterday, as reported by ABS CBN News.

Denying any affiliation with the cryptocurrency firm, Pimentel stated that there is "no partnership" between him and the firm, or the senate and the firm.

557  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: September 19, 2023, 07:41:22 AM
To begin with, a business is needed to provide an opportunity and a start for the business. I need to maintain liquidity, to invest in crypto and invest in real estate. Crypto and real estate investments can always yield good profits in the long term, provided you have taken the right position and can make logical decisions, away from emotional approaches. I focus more on my work, that is, I search for other opportunities and try to get ideas. When you do business, you create a system and get into flow, in a physical way, this is great for making people more motivated, waiting can sometimes be annoying for long-term gains.

Each of us has a different technique or way of making money that makes us feel comfortable; some people want to establish a small business, other people want cryptocurrencies, and some people want real estate. If we are being realistic, we will undoubtedly begin with a modest sum of money, but in the long run, we may be able to earn a sizable sum.

And I can see this in the bitcoin market right now, as well as in some local traditional businesses. But even if I had to choose between the two, launching a small business would be more difficult than it is in the crypto industry. I'm basing this on my own experience. Of course, I also noticed the advantages and disadvantages.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: I tired of Banks my experince with nyc high value Property on: September 19, 2023, 07:30:25 AM
I will prefer people to DCA bitcoin. If they want to DCA altcoins, they should be careful and look for the good ones. Altcoins can be very volatile and some of them can become shit coins and later become dead. I will prefer bitcoin.

You mean people will borrow money from bank and bank will demand high profit from them to pay back. That is true. But some people borrow from bank and they are able to pay back after they use the money for the business they want to use it to do. Some  people use it for business and the business did not bring any good return and they have no other means than for the bank to sell what they used as collateral.

You can invest in bitcoin and make money, but have you forgotten that you need money to invest in bitcoin? If you can start a business without borrowing from bank, that would be better. Not also good to borrow money to invest in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies.

Borrowing money from the bank has a high interest rate that they will charge for sure if you build a business that you want. If you're just going to borrow from the bank, I think it's safer to put what you owe to invest in Bitcoin than to put it in a traditional business that you know.

At least with Bitcoin, we know something about it, somehow we are sure that the rise of its value in the market has a destination, yes, we have a risk due to volatility, but we know that the price value will really increase. especially since there is an upcoming Bitcoin halving and an upcoming bull run by next year.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 19, 2023, 07:19:44 AM
It brings the following question up: what is more valued in life: to be or to have? Does it make someone fulfilled to have while not being or being without having anything?

This issue is difficult to answer because each person's values and priorities vary. There are others who reject existence as well,
and that is more significant.

Additionally, they place a higher value on people, experiences, and personal growth than they do on material stuff. Some people think that having something is more significant than not having it. Considering how much property and material goods it is worth.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My passion on bitcoin on: September 19, 2023, 06:57:11 AM
I'm so passionate on bitcoin since I made research of bitcoin I have being excited in bitcoin and I'm not regretting that I invested in bitcoin with my second saves, its good to read articles containing bitcoin information before deciding to buy bitcoin I have read and I have regret, myself I assured myself that I have not make a mistake by investing in bitcoin, because bitcoin now is what that helps so many arms of people to escape inflation rates in their countries, everywhere you go its all about investment information you will obtain of bitcoin.

Before I invested my saves in bitcoin I have already encouraged myself of the loss if I may have a loss but what give me the moral to invest is that Bitcoin adoption is occurring with massive way and till now everywhere you go and people there is discussing of monetary transaction of bitcoin, and when you think of sending money to people outside the country first thing that will come to your mind is to use Bitcoin. My fair in bitcoin is that nobody knows how many years it will last in earth or bitcoin will continue to exploit in future.

If i have another financial opportunity I will wish to invest more capital in bitcoin because it is a decentralized currency

Edited corrected by @Upgrade00, thanks sir

Learning is a continuous process

The positive thinking level you have about Bitcoin is good for you to continue and raise it even more. But I also just want to make it clear to you that Bitcoin does not have any power to control the inflation rate or interest rate. The only one who can do that is the government. It's like what you said was the same for me.

And it is also true that it is also good that you continue to learn here in the field of this industry in the world of crypto. Because I'm also sure that what you will learn here will help you maximize the things you should do as Bitcoin holders.
