By accident? More like carded.
TWC anyone who does this deal, underselling an 'accidentally" purchased card screams fraud
542  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [Unmoderated] Bit-Investors.com Independent Discussion - ►NO LONGER PAYING on: July 21, 2014, 02:21:30 PM
Im a current board investor in the new transition. No problem with the admin at all. Seems OP needs to man up and pay his debts instead of wasting his time sending PM's to everyone who invested in silvercane's site which is still paying.
Recommend you edit your thread with proper facts as it's only a few days since the site will be up and running again.
Also a good idea would be to fix your trust rating if you think anyone will believe you. Looks pretty ridiculous if you ask me
543  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for Investors - Long term project on: July 21, 2014, 01:16:00 PM
So this is a bank or a gambling site ? What type of games will you have ?
Anything stopping you from starting out now, on a smaller scale ?
Would you be doing the coding or you paying some one else ?

If you have a viable and good idea why not go on bitstarter ??

Bitstarter hardly funds loans like these. Go on there now and one of the 30 listings has a decent amount of coin on it, and thats only 1.95. Not enough for what I am trying to accomplish.

It's a gambling site, the bank is the BTC for the site. The games will be dice and possibly blackjack (talking to dev about this one). The only thing stopping me is the site not being large enough for higher gamblers. I've seen small bank sites and they do not last very long. Yet you can see EveryDice who busted out all of their money pretty quickly with a higher bank of BTC so I need enough to keep it low while sustaining the site.
I am not doing the coding, I have a developer.
544  Economy / Long-term offers / Looking for Investors - Long term project on: July 20, 2014, 09:56:41 AM
Hi,
I am developing a new bitcoin casino and I'm looking for investors to kick the sites development off. Below are some more details on what the project will be.

Currently site costs are:
- $300~ Server costs/mo
- $2500 development costs
- $300 Design costs

What we are looking for
- Around 25BTC for the sites starting bank (we currently have around 15BTC allocated specifically to the bank)
- Capital for further growth if needed once site is released, this includes dev costs for extra features and patches

The site will be dice related. You will be able to roll dice as well as PvP. We are going to include most features from other sites to put us as top competitors when new site versions come out.

What do investors get in return?

Once the site is released, Investors who fund site development will be credited their whole investment as well as a 1% - 10% bonus which they can either invest into the bank or cashout. Investors who contribute to the bank will have their BTC in the bank with an extra 5% credited, and can be withdrawn once the site bank rises to a certain amount. The amount is factored by the amount people invest into the bank before the site launches as well as the amount of BTC.

If you have any questions please let me know. Right now there is no collateral as this is a work in progress. I would have sold collateral to achieve the requested development and bank amounts if I had one of equal value. I'm looking for a investor who wants to invest in a new dice site. Now is the perfect time since JD is offline, this can be the next big site where dicers can invest in the bank roll, while fair for other players who have the courage to gamble their BTC in the site!

Thank you.

Did no one who captured a leprechaun ever think of asking as the third wish that he be allowed to capture two more leprechauns the next day?

556  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 29, 2014, 01:59:59 AM
Shouldn't someone mark him with negative trust for not monitoring his campaign and paying out properly?
Most people will remember the name but for new users it might be helpful.
My trust probably doesn't make a difference, but I have now done so.
I'm looking for a sig campaign sad the owner didn't uphold his advertisement

558  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC are used in commerce each day? on: June 29, 2014, 01:49:37 AM
i know for sure that its over 5000 coins.. (yet to mention the unaccounted gambling, illicit, legit auctions, private product purchase etc)

and then when you relate that to only 3600 coins mined a day..

supply vs demand, shows that demand is higher then supply..

i would have been sad if demand (need/use) was less than mining output, but if we can account for atleast maybe some known services, and they exceed mining output, then bitcoins is on a good path even if we cant account the rest.

if we try to add them together, we would be surprised at how many bitcoin transactions per day in all countries.
bitcoin transactions per day can be accounted https://blockchain.info/charts/output-volume (1mill bitcoins moved today)
but the title was about commerce. so i only accounted for commerce EG shopping cart gateways like coinbase/bitpay

Every where demand is higher than supply
You'll never find a currency that has a higher supply rate than it demands, that's how economics is
My guess is 7.5k coins~/day
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: June 29, 2014, 01:45:58 AM
And so the first half nearly finishes and Bitcoin is strong @ $570~
Stay strong Bitcoin!
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi expected bitcoin to be this big? on: June 29, 2014, 01:42:06 AM
He may of made it  as a little side project just to have fun with or show his friends,

Or maybe he developed it to show off to huge multinational companies so he could make a profit.

But... Do you think satoshi expected bitcoin to have this much of a following?

he didnt make it just for fun

he didnt do it to show of a profit.

he did it because he hated th whole government financial status.. (see the quote in the genesis block) thats his inspiraction.

and with less then 0.02% of population using it.. this is not the exiting day to ask such a question, bitcoin is still small.. ask again in a couple years

Really, 0.02% only?
Satoshi is in hiding isn't he? so I doubt he expected it to even get to that "small" amount
Time will tell if bitcoin will truly get "big"
