541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 03, 2015, 01:59:22 AM

Very possible by the rate it's going.  The only question now is, when will it start heading the other way?

When the universe finally implodes. Or two hours. Or somewhere in the middle.

Maybe.

Everyone is getting so hyped and positive.  I can't wait to see the reaction of people when bitcoin starts crashing by just a little bit... Roll Eyes

Happened in the weekend, fall from 330 to sub 310.
The trolls tried hard, but people keep their faith that the bull rise would continue, and it did
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people REALLY use bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 01:48:38 AM
I use Bitcoin to receive payments and to avoid taxes.

Quite usefull, even if I can't spend BTC directly most of the times
543  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 02, 2015, 08:31:34 PM
Secondstrade decreased max weekly post to 50/week

And yobit transfer to balance is not working for almost 1 week, maybe their entry should get an warning?

Also I think posts/daily? would be more suitable because there are various complains that the transfer to balance button doesn't work for several days, so most of the time people can't withdraw their earnings daily
544  Economy / Services / Re: INCREASED PAYOUT(7/13) ۩۞۩ secondstrade.com ★ signature campaign★weekly 0.03btc on: November 02, 2015, 08:22:32 PM
please confirm the pending payment of the member on this sign campaign
i know i must be patient, but as soon as possible sir. I beg you, please:)

there is a big price increase last days, the transactions must be at peak and lots of people are paying high transaction fees, so I think the transaction may be stuck for much more than the 1 hour expected for 6 confirmations
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: The thing I've noticed about these runs on: November 02, 2015, 08:16:23 PM
Same thing happened last year in may for apparently no reason, only to end 1 month after and start maybe the longest bearmarket in BTC story.

See the price rising and the profits increasing is nice, but still is too early to call another bubble, may be another May 2014 event instead, there is no way to know right now
546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 02, 2015, 08:11:25 PM
Bitstamp is out of coins, lol. Is this gentlemen?

Bitstamp can't be out of coins because they don't sell their own coins to people, like Coinbase or Circle.

Worse may happens is people put sell orders at high prices only, but I don't see it happening right now, even with the price increasing hour after hour the spread is not that absurd
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: $340 wot the hell is going on ? on: November 02, 2015, 08:04:05 PM
It is the end of the bear market, at least for now. If it is a surprise for you, I think you must be new to bitcoin

In the past bubbles $100 rises in one day(or que equivalent given the past value) were common

(and right now the price is touching 360 and increasing)
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did I buy at good price? on: November 02, 2015, 07:17:58 PM
Your last buy was good considering the current price, but you are at loss right now.

Your mean buy price is  516.8. You need to be patient or take some risks if you want recover your loss, without being affected by emotions
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: November 02, 2015, 01:05:24 AM
But how transaction spam would be dealed with a giant block size?  There are several instances of blockchain adversment spam in the past 2 years.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seperate bitcoin from the internet (in the long term) on: November 02, 2015, 01:00:00 AM
How run the bitcoin mining protocol without internet?

The only solution would be make our own private network separated from Internet. But it would be too expensive and would cause lots of issues(for example, how would the common user connect to the alternative network without using the internet or the telephone structure?). And the network would be as vulnerable as internet itself
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 02, 2015, 12:51:23 AM
Yes. The house edge.
Gambling houses have to pay things and have profits that must come from players, while stock exchanges don't have to take player's money away to exist
552  Other / Meta / Re: ModLog on: November 02, 2015, 12:40:56 AM
Isn't the full modlog stored somewhere offline?

I think that the problem is the resources to make a search in a giant modlog with years of entries, more than the size itself.

And in some decades the size may be a problem too if many people decide to download it(bandwidth problem instead of storage problem)
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian exchanges hit all-time volume high in October on: November 02, 2015, 12:21:35 AM
but still their volume is low. At best some hundreads of BTC by day, while the biggest exchanges have at least some 1000's of volume even in the most boring days
554  Other / Meta / Re: Mrzinzin's crap posts on: November 02, 2015, 12:18:14 AM
You can try reporting these blatant spammers to the signature campaigner owner/manager. They can get removed from the campaign or have their spam posts not count towards their earnings.

No one is removed from yobit campaign, even the worse spammers and scammers. The manager is missing since a long time and the send to balance buttom is not working for days.

There is a chance that they will just stop to pay everyone without prior warning
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 02, 2015, 12:14:23 AM
The poll is outdated. We are about to test 340 again, so only one option might make some sense.
All below 330 has already been broken last week

556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: November 01, 2015, 11:49:22 PM
I never won anything.

But I rarely play too.

So I think I have nothing to complain
557  Economy / Gambling / Re: After losing all your Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 11:44:16 PM
If you reach the point when you feel better when you lose everything so you can't gamble, then something is very wrong.

I would not bet for a long time and maybe seek professional help
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 01, 2015, 10:23:15 PM
i personaly gamble a lot but i was never thought gambling as investment Smiley
for me is more like buying some wicked kind of fun ,alternative to going at a movie theatre etc

but if you want to see how you can gamble for long term success i can give you a bit of help

you must bet only when the odds to win are almost imposible like 1 chance out of 10,000 up to 1 chance out of multi-millions
those kind of bets you may find usually in national loteries and such ,thats not bad about how fair the game can be

then you need to decide a very very small bet you can put every day or week until you win just once !
if you are really lucky then odds are in your favor ,otherwise you will pay really cheap just to confirm your bad luck

have a nice day and good luck of course !

problem is the time taken by your small and daily bets.

if I go to buy a loterry ticket, I spend at least 30 min. Or 26 hours during a whole week.

You can do many things in 26 hours. There are courses that will last 26 hours and may give you returns
559  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin price bet ? on: November 01, 2015, 10:20:47 PM
There is a site that accept any kind of bet. But it is player vs player, so you need to find people willing to bet against you.

The problem is that most of the bets don't attract much people so it is not fun.

A site similar to sportbooks for BTC price would be a good idea
560  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Potential Activity Checker Service? on: November 01, 2015, 03:39:06 AM
I use this site:

http://www.visitorsbit.com/

It is free and without waiting time. And quick
