I mean I go to your website and I get 100% CPU load INSTANTLY without me clicking on any web mining and without me getting anything out of it, let alone wanting it.
Furthermore I'm talking about my CCMiner (which I'm running on my own) crashing when I access your site, due to two concurrent mining clients in the system.

Die Nadel im Heuhaufen sind in diesem Falle halt Millionen von Nadeln in einem riesengrossen Heuhaufen, sprich auch wenn die statistische Wahrscheinlichkeit was zu finden sehr klein ist, dann ist es unter 1000den von Hackern durchaus wahrscheinlich, dass irgendwer per Zufall auch mal einen Key mit Coins drauf findet.
Klar, dabei ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass das ausgerechnet das eigene Konto ist nochmal ein Millionenfaches kleiner, aber für das grundsätzliche Problem macht das keinen Unterschied.
Fast jede Woche gewinnt irgendwer im Lotto und wenn nur einmal in 50 Jahren oder so ein Hacker den Jackpot zieht und "nur" eine Winzigkeit von 10 BTC oder so erwischt, dann ist das immer noch nicht sicher.

Aber solange es nichts kostet, kann man doch einfach mal mit Zufallsgenerator irgendwelche private keys überprüfen.

gibt es doch bestimmte 1000de von Leuten, die einfach auf gut Glück zufällige keys ausprobieren, denn früher oder später findet man dabei auch einen key, wo Coins drauf sind, oder nicht?

There's still no option for withdrawing them, but (if I got that right) they have announced above in this topic, they might convert them to some other coin.

Nu noch eine Zusatzfrage, wegen der Unterscheidung BTC/BCH

Ich habe halt mit dem "alten" Wallet zwei Adressen generiert und mir von diversen Faucets ein paar mikroskopisch kleine Mengen geholt, nur zum probieren, ob das Ganze funzt.
Mit dem bip39 habe ich nu meine private Keys und sehe dort die beiden Adressen die ich bisher verwendet habe als die obersten Beiden.

Ich habe aber auf der ersten Adresse BTC bekommen und auf der zweiten Adresse BCH, weil das "alte" Wallet halt beides konnte.

Darum wüsste ich nu gerne, woher weiss das Wallet, welche Währung ich da bekommen habe und kann ich die zweite Adresse (also die auf der ich BCH empfangen habe) einfach so ins BCH-Wallet importieren?
Was passiert denn, wenn ich beide Adressen in beide Core-Wallets importiere?

.... und wenn ich schon dabei bin die wirklich dummen Fragen zu stellen, dann setz ich auch noch eine oben drauf:

Was soll das mit dem Wallet verschlüsseln?
Wenn die Coins sowieso in der Blockchain liegen und mit dem private Key erreichbar sind, was macht dann das Passwort?
Sichert das Passwort nur das Wallet auf dem eigenen PC, falls einer bei mir einbricht und den PC klaut?

Dass diese Keys aus heutiger Sicht so ziemlich unmöglich zu knacken sind und das auch auf absehbare Zeit unmöglich bleibt ist mir schon klar, aber wenn mir 1980 (als ich mit dem coden angefangen habe) einer gesagt hätte, wir werden mal ganz gewöhnliche Stuben-Computer haben, mit 16 Kernen a 4 Ghz ..............
Oder anders gesagt: in 100 Jahren knackt das, was dann als besserer Taschenrechner angesehen wird, so einen Key in Sekunden.

Egal nu, für den Moment ist es kein Problem ........ meine Adressen habe ich ja, bisher hab ich eh nur 2 in Gebrauch, aber ich habe immer noch nicht verstanden ob ich nun als private key den "Account Extended Private Key" oder den "BIP32 Extended Private Key" brauche und egal welchen ich brauche, wozu ist dann der Andere?

Im Prinzip ist so ein Key ja nur ein sehr langes "Passwort", kann man dieses Passwort auch ändern, oder haben sämtliche Cryptowallets alle nur statische private Keys, die einfach nur darauf warten, dass die Rechenpower der PCs einen Level erreicht wo man die mit Brute Force knacken kann?

Yes, I was thinking about that too, but (as you might imagine) the few coins I have come from faucets, where I had to register with my wallet address and on some of these that cannot be changed.
That's why I would rather keep my receiving address while moving from light wallet to core wallet.

Nein, ich habe erst vor 3 Wochen überhaupt mit Cryptos angefangen, darum ist ja auch fast nichts drin in den Wallets, gerade genug zum rumprobieren wie das funzt, ohne das Risiko mehr als ein paar Cent zu verlieren.
Trotzdem bietet das Wallet Platz für BTC und BCH separat und was da drin ist, ist erst nach dem Fork überhaupt rein gekommen.


Ich habe den "Seed", also diese 12 Wörter mit denen ich das existierende Wallet neu installieren und meine Coins zurück bekommen kann, aber ich habe keinen Plan, wie ich da raus den private key extrahieren kann, oder wie ich das Wallet exportieren könnte, dass ich es dann ins Core Wallet importieren kann, denn das Core Wallet akzeptiert keinen Seed.

..... und wie ich aus dem einen Wallet ZWEI machen, sprich zwei verschiedene Keys extrahieren soll, ist mir erstmal richtig schleierhaft.

Last but not least, let me mention 2 more things:
1) During the morning (CET) SolveMedia brings up absolutely unreadable scribbles for captchas and clicking to get another just gets another scribble, I've tried 100 in a row, nothing remotely solvable, I cannot use your site there.
2) During the afternoon (CET) your site is so extremely slow, I've given up using it.
What's the point of offering 11 faucets in one site to claim from every 15 minutes, if claiming just once already takes 2-3 minutes?

I have no problem making a backup of an existing wallet and restore that wallet into the same software after a fresh installation.
My question was basically how to move from the simple to the core wallet.

Also I do NOT have any kind of concerns about malware, I'm a coder, I know what I'm doing with my computer, so spare me those security hints.
The main reason for wanting the wallets on a VM and that on an external harddisk is that due to my job, I'm permanently messing up my main system with coding experiments, meaning I frequently reinstall my main OS from scratch and while that's no big deal for the system itself, I don't see why I should redownload the entire blockchain for a dozen wallets from BTC to Doge.
I want this installed once, separate from the system I'm working with, where all I have to do is launch Virtualbox to have all my wallets up.
And if I'm already doing this once and for all, then I will not use the simple, but the core version of the wallets.

I am aware that moving to a VM itself doesn't do anything for security.
But installing the VM on an external harddisk and DETACH that from the computer, that's like the XXL version of a hardware wallet.

When I got started, I downloaded the simple desktop wallet from wallet.bitcoin.com and I haven't taken any further security measures, simply because there's no need securing 0.001 BTC

Now that I'm getting serious with it, I want to move things to an external harddisk, or better, I've setup a VM in Virtualbox, that shall hold nothing but my crypto wallets, where I can backup the entire harddisk in once and physically detach it from the computer when not needed.
For this one I've downloaded and installed Bitcoin Core.

Now the (newbie) question: What do I have to do to move my account from the simple wallet on my desktop, to the core wallet on the VM?

I do have all the data, like seed and private key, I just don't know how to get it into the core wallet.

Up to yesterday (as far as I can tell) your Dogecoin faucet paid 13,500,000, while Doge was worth up to $0.017.
As we all know, recently the whole market came down, so now Dogecoin is worth less than 1/3 it's peek, but instead of tripling the payout (which would have been the logic thing to do) you've cut payout by 90%, meaning your Doge faucet now pays 1,350,000.

Converted to USD this means a claim taking 12 seconds timer plus the time for typing the captcha pays $0.00007.
I mean I know faucets do not pay much, but THIS is ridiculous, because alone the electricity for running a computer for 15 seconds exceeds this payout 10 fold.
At this claim value it takes threeHUNDRED claims to get to a value of ONE CENT.
