I see your reasoning and it is an interesting coin but this will be a failed experiment because 99.9% of people in here are for profits and volatility and not here for a currency. I am a mixture of the two. I believe there will be a currency that is not extremely volatile but still nonetheless and is used by the general population.
it's very easy to make profit on this coin - just mine and sell :-) Difficulty may depends on Coin to Fiat withdraw queue length, for example. It depends. Hence, a pump and dump coin. People who can't mine what then? Buy? Even when they know price will be fixed and there will be non-existent volatility? Why people buy WMZ? It's easy o use payment system. FixedCoin is the only coin, on witch you can speak about with any government. Think about it. *which. And very true. I agree that this coin has the potential to be a great cryptocurrency. But that is all it will ever be. A currency. No profit for investors = no investors = dead coin. You have got to remember cryptocurrency is a very young world right now. You are treating it like the dollar or euro. Treating an infant like a grandpa = no no. |

We feel that selling all the coins at once deters user growth. We want to replicate the successful distribution strategy of Litecoin and Bitcoin. The price has to steadily appreciate, but has to be kept artificially low by releasing new coins over time, in order to create an incentive for new users. Mastercoin is worth a hundred million dollars on paper, but it has no volume, no liquidity and no users. We are trying to avoid that by spreading the distribution over a longer time period like Bitcoin and Litecoin did. I can see that you're very confident about future prospect of skycoin. And don't get me wrong I'm very excited about this coin. However, everyone who invests in your coin is taking on a risk of this coin going down to zero value and there is certain uneasy feeling about investing in IPO with set price. So not everyone may agree with you that 50 BTC/ 1 million coins is "artificially low" price. If skycoin goes to BTC price in few years, I guess all these doesn't really matter. We'll all be millionaires.  BTW, in TODAY's price, 5000 BTC is worth about 3.3 million dollars.  Exactly, creating an Ethereum-style IPO will be the death of this coin, no matter how great it is or the potential it will become. |

Have anyone noticed delays on Poloniex deposits? My firsts went very fast, but today one took about 30-40 minutes to show up, and the one after that is still in the limbo after more than 1 hour and an half.
Mine took 8 hours.. Blockchain is slow. Just be patient. Money will eventually get there. |

Did you walk all the way to the back? Also, it might be listed under "immature". Yup. The player was still there and everything in the zone and coin went back to 0 but no immature, mature, or trxid on those coins. |
