541  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 29, 2015, 04:19:22 AM
I don't see how it is that much of a stretch to think that a civilization 10,000 years or more technologically advanced than us could find a way to traverse the cosmos.
542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hackers threaten to leak Ashley Madison's 37 million clients on: July 29, 2015, 04:06:58 AM
I am 100% against cheating on someone, why not end one relationship before moving onto another ?
There is no justification for cheating on another person. It is destructive and hurtful
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 29, 2015, 03:35:45 AM
I've commonly seen people saying things such as "...if it drops back to $100 or $200, then I'll buy, maybe it's better to ignore the reality that yes were the price lower, you could afford to purchase more bitcoin, but for now, focus on acquiring a few coins and making bitcoin a part of your everyday practice in life.
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: July 29, 2015, 03:18:40 AM
I have heard all arguments for and against gun control but why is there such passion on such a large scale in defence of gun ownership rights in USA?
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the Religion?! on: July 29, 2015, 03:14:05 AM
1- In the beginning, Satoshi created Bitcoin and the BTC protocol.
2- Now the coin was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of Satoshi was hovering over the waters.
2- And Satoshi coded a blockchain, and there was a blockchain.
3- Satoshi saw that the blockchain was good, and he separated cryptocurrency from fiat currency.
4- Satoshi called the light "Bitcoin", and called the darkness "Fiat". And there was evening, and there was morning - the Genesis Block
And so sayeth the prophecy. Amen.  Smiley
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mastercard attacking Bitcoin on: July 29, 2015, 03:09:35 AM
Well, this is hardly surprising. Established companies like mastercard have a tremendous amount to lose if payment systems like Bitcoin go mainstream.
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Direction is NNE (north northeast) - MOON TIME on: July 29, 2015, 03:08:08 AM
I am thinking about taking a position in this one just in case it goes to say $600-1000 again...looks like it's possible. But only time will tell.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 29, 2015, 03:06:33 AM
I am glad it is settling at $300. I am not bothered if we are back at $280 next week. We need a stable bitcoin. A slow and steady climb at $5 per week will be better than $50 in a month.
549  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The road to the End of Religion: How sex will kill God on: July 28, 2015, 11:02:05 PM
I personally don't think religion is going anywhere for a long time. But that it will remain a more progressive and less dogmatic capacity. More denominations are becoming accepting of homosexuality and birth control
550  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there such an insurgence of flat-earthers in 2015? on: July 28, 2015, 10:54:31 PM
for the flat earth conspiracy to be true, like 50% of humanity and anyone who has ever rode an airplane has to be in on it  Grin
551  Other / Off-topic / Re: Freenet, have you heard about it? on: July 28, 2015, 10:48:02 PM
Every time I've looked into it it's unusably slow and uses tons of bandwidth. I keep hoping it will get better but I think TOR took a lot of interest away from it.
552  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was BTC price? on: July 28, 2015, 10:39:07 PM
I have been following BTC since it was sub $50. I was kicking myself in the foot as I saw it appreciate, and I finally pulled the trigger at $200
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: July 28, 2015, 10:18:47 PM
Ethereum has big advertising  Let's see what happens with this new coin / platform. From what I've read it's not even near to a competition to Bitcoin.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: July 26, 2015, 04:40:44 PM
If you can hold 100 bitcoins to $10k and you have no other money you are a better man then me, i will cash a few $k but the rest i will hold for 10 years or more
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 years ago Cyprus, now Greece? new bubble on the way? on: July 26, 2015, 04:36:33 PM
Will Greece's failure bring to a new rise of bitcoin price in next months? Maybe a bubble? How much? Tell your opinions.

It is a little late to tell my opinion because things are more cleared now but I don't think that Greeks will buy bitcoins. First because the common people don't have money, second because they need money to spend in everyday things (so no possibility to save), and third because now they have signed the agreement of the help with the European Countries.
This is the “quiet before the storm” with a period of tight consolidation. It’s usually the time when the smart money quietly accumulates supply without trying to move prices up too high.
556  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: July 26, 2015, 03:36:12 PM
well bitcoin is an option to pay for a service on this case some pay for porn ,others can pay for, developing a website, anything now can be paid with bitcoins as  long as the people accept it know it .

exactly bitcoin is a natural fit for the porn industry. Credit card companies and banks sometimes have hesitation in dealing with porn companies. No such issues with bitcoin. I think the proportion of porn sites accepting bitcoin should be already high.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 26, 2015, 03:32:46 PM
It's great to have another option to fiat that is decentralized.  Also sending and receiving bitcoin is much easier and cheaper than with fiat.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Tyson bitcoin ATM on twitter on: July 26, 2015, 03:28:48 PM
Mike Tyson can knock me out 2.5 times before my cash is turned into Bitcoin? Waiting at his ATM sounds terrifying. Grin
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: July 25, 2015, 08:29:51 PM
I want to say around $2,500 to $3,000 a coin but that is being optimistic, years go by pretty darn fast and we may just be at $1,000 a coin (not that it would be a terribly bad thing). Just remember Bitcoin isn't a race to wealth.

You are very optimistic, the bitcoin through the years has been changed a lot. the Technology is moving forward fast too.
So the price i dont think will reach 3k
We are talking 5 years, if it hits the strides it needs to 2500$ shouldn't be too far out of reach but of course it can always go the other way and be worth 50$ a coin if there is either a 50-51% attack, a bad fork or switch to a new coin.

Yes it can be in future why not, but when it was 300$ i was much happier than before, i would imagine when i reach 2500$.
5 year is long if the investment is low amount.

If I woke up tomorrow with a price of 2500 I would be pissed off. I don't understand people that are so impatient. The fact we get a SECOND opportunity to get sub 1000 BTC is simply a blessing. The second coming of Jesus H Satoshi himself bringing us the opportunity to stack up entire units of the holy grail for our future wealth and well being. Every BTC you make after the last ATH is simply invaluable.

Well 300$ and 2500$ of the bitcoin price is a very very huge difference.
There are many opportunity that will bring the bitcoin price to the next level/.

I think the maximum might be 50k $. But the future is full of surprises. One extreme brutal hyperinflation can destroy ones FIAT wealth in a very short timeframe.

Just imagine: What would happen if only 2 million people would buy "only" one bitcoin ? 2 million people is nothing in a global scale. If we would adapt to 10 million users, the price would be already very high ! The problem is, that compared to us in the west, most of the world is poor.

I think the first big scale bitcoin adoption will happen in one of the poorer countries, that are plagued with a high inflation of their government paper money.

Especially when one fiat currency fails after another because of their debt issues.
well it a very interesting question but reality is real and we have to wait to see ...probably bitcoin can reach $ 5-10k
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: July 25, 2015, 08:20:59 PM
Halving will not have any effect on price. There will be 3/4 of all coins in rotation already. It will only have effect on difficulty...
I disagree. the next block reward halving in 2016 could be a trigger.
the supply of bitcoins dumped in the market would reduce and could trigger an increase in price.
