I have been waiting FOREVER you one of the daily fantasy sports sites to either accept Bitcoin or one to pop up that does. I live in a state where gambling is blocked by. Mostly by IP but also by bank account info. Until Bitcoin there was no way to circumvent it.

Bitcoin definitely fills the void Wink

545  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bullish Media Center (The 1 stop Bullish BTC news source) on: February 06, 2016, 02:11:17 AM

Once the major economies start to abolish cash, Bitcoin will explode even more. Essentially it will be establishment vs populous. Germany recently announced it too will slowly start to eliminate cash from its economy.

548  Economy / Gambling / Re: betcoin.tm is a shady operating site on: February 04, 2016, 08:37:43 PM
Try the other Betcoin, never had a problem. I remember when .tm was just a few small slot games a while back. People couldn't even get BTC out. Either they sold or found funding to expand.

550  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: February 04, 2016, 07:53:07 PM
...
That would be a problem if a scammer "poker player" falsely alleges someone else took his chips inappropriately. He asks BetcoinPoker for a chargeback and the lender (who sent some coins and held the chips as collateral) gets scammed...
...

I don't get it. Betcoin allow P2P transfers but they won't act as debt-collector, who you lend to/borrow from and whether they pay you back is entirely your problem and you take the risk.

Also why would anyone use chips as collateral since chips are essentially bitcoins (you can just withdraw them)?

And what are they going to do? In The real world do casinos bar entrance, suspend, ban, or hold the funds of a player who is in debt to another player at the casino?
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does sports betting works ? on: February 04, 2016, 01:24:59 PM

The spread (amount a team you pick to win or loose by) is usualy set to $1 million USD per 1/2 point.

So if today you see team x is a 2.5 and you pick them to win you need team x to win by more than 2.5 points. and vise versa if you pick them to loose.

Odds are set by Vegas and other Large services. If a team is -2.5 today but -3 8hrs later it means $1 mil more money was put on that a team to loose by 2.5 than not. The "house moves the line to mitigate to much of a loss.

If you pick straight up winners no spread, then a + number means the team is a underdog and a - is a favorite to win.

Ex: Broncos +213 vs Panters -245

If you bet 100$ on the Broncos and they win you get $213 plus your $100 bet
If you bet with the favorite and in the ex, you would need to bet $245 to win $100 plus your $245 bet

Betcoin and nitrogen sports have the best books in my opinion. More games than any other sportsbook for BTC and you can pick a line 1.5 plus or minus what most other places have.

So let's say you want to play the spread of the Super Bowl and the line is Denver -2.5, at the listed sites you can pick a line of -1 to -4 for more/less risk and higher/lower payouts.

Hope this helps

The latest episode of letstalkbitcoin podcast they talked about Segwit for 45-50min. It was amazingly interesting and I encourage you guys to listen to it.

Andreas ant has a way of speaking that makes you sit on the edge of your seat. I would vote that guy into office Wink. Anyway I am convinced that Segwit would be a great option to the blocksize debate and think we will start to see a mass adoption of this causing a soft fork.

I'm behind it.
554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag SCAM on: February 03, 2016, 08:20:47 PM
I doubt it was anything malicious, first withdraw can take some time for approval like they said. Never had an issue with withdraws but mine are always under 1000chips. Do as he said and withdraw in chunks so you don't get flagged by management for approval.

Prop bets would be nice, havnt seen those for college sports or pro yet unless in its pro basketball. Been asking nitrogen and Betcoin to add these for a while. Would like to pick march madness before March, and pro/college football before the week of.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need inspiration for need games to developer on: February 03, 2016, 07:02:52 AM
Sportsbooks are big but would cost a mint to develop your own same with a poker client. Do you have a domain set yet? Maybe that could help shape a game or direction better for the community to assist you. Plinko, and dice seem to be the easiest to do around this on a small budget.

None of it really matters.

I do belive Michelle Bachman won last go round and didn't get very far. Sponge bob will get more votes than these pin heads lol
