That is a great news! " Additional “seed nodes” for initial peer-to-peer services and booting of normal wallets Blockchain sources for light clients (with no need to download the whole blockchain but still capable of common operations like sending and receiving coins) VPN and proxy exit nodes Providing blockchain information to any applicable service like block explorers, exchanges, etc. "

Looks like 1060 3GB soon will either be landing in trash or taking chances in spec mining.
Don't underestimate it. It is still good for mining other algos and.. gaming!

So what are you guys on Windows 10 mining with these cards ? It is very sad to see that they are doing like 0.33 mBTC for 6 cards mining Equihash algorithms and it is the same with CryptonightV7.
Should I continue to mine or to sell my rig for 2000 EUR, of course I don't want to do this but a maximum of 0.35 mBTC per day is not justified with my electricity cost. Probably can build a better rig with 2000 EUR but locally no one seems interested to buy. I guess the same will be even internationally.
It's the same everywhere. The fatter a whale you are, the more chance to survive you have. 1. If you can afford it - keep mining. If you cannot, sell. 2. If you can afford to mine, but earnings are very low, pick some new coin and mine the hell out of it. then prey to the crypto god and sell when the price rises. example: mining ETH. you mine 6 ETH per year. Price goes from $450 to $900 - you earn $2700 with a rig which costs about the same money. Mining some other new coin: you mine 100 000 per year and price goes from $0.0001 to $0.1 = $10 000 (or it never shines and you sell your rig for 1000 and then sell the 100 000 for another 1000). 3. Sell the rig for 2000 and then invest them to buy 100 000 of some coin or buy the 6 ETH. Worst case scenario is that you invest in a coin which dies totally or is a scam. All other options should bring you atleast partial ROI. This seems like a terrible idea, too much at stake to risk it on an unknown coin "or buy the 6 ETH" - as I wrote. What would you do in his situation?

Hello Webers,
Just discovered this nice coin and started mining it. But ran into some problem.
2x X5670 processor with 6 + 6ht ea.
I was getting low 160ish hash initially with 12 core/null setup. But I was thinking its low and turned off HT on bios, and now its around 340ish hash.
I tried to see if I could set cpu affinity setting, but I don't understand mask number system. I know its binary but I am too stupid to comprehend it.
Can some one help me with correct affinity setting so that, I can keep HT on, and have miner ignore it? So that miner just uses 12 main cores.
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks.
you can use -t switch to specify number of cores used. For example: -t 3 limits the number of cores to 3. The webchain algo needs about 2mb of L3 cache per core, so you can divide your L3 by 2 and set the resulted number after -t

SkyTeam, you do realise that in a yaer your hardware miner can be emulated on any modern (Ryzen 7 or Intel core i7) PC without any problem. In the next two years the computers with such computing power will double in count and half in price. Please consider releasing a VPN node software for most popular OSes and this alone will guarantee your success. Just imagine all the old computers lying arround unused as part of the network, and the 800 nodes you are refering in your website will be more like 80 000.

I had the chance to test JCE on an old 7750. Tested 29a and 32a. They both exit with message: 1. No device configured to mine on. (when auto) 2. Invalid configuration for GPU thread 0: No OpenCL-capable GPU found, no GPU mining possible.. (when config.txt is used)
Tried with XMRrig - 160h/s

Thanks for the info, I added myself too.
Can anyone help me with loging in to the Storj Community website? I get: User account has not been activated when i try to login When i try to reset my password there is only an error. Posted 3 times to the support and nobody replied.
Email support@storj.io sometimes they manually activate new users to avoid scammers and spammers. Already done that 2 times ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Hi iExec team, how can i withdraw my RLC?
I used the same address for two logins to the network. The first time my computer generated 10 RLC, but then the power stopped and I had to restart everything from the beginning. When i logged in, the RLC was not showing next to my worker.
How can i withdraw them?

I recommend the Google Docs link, speed is about 10 times faster: http://bit.ly/iExecWorkerMIRRORThe file is 1.5GB (should have mentioned it somewhere) The ETH you MUST have in your wallet is not less than 0.2 ETH!!! I tried with 0.01 and it did not work. Had to do a lot of transactions to convert to 0.2 Eth. Currently there are 124 CPU cores, 241GB RAM, 13,1 THz clock. No RLC dropped and no work done yet. Here is a view from this moment: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2FgSZ5jJ%2Fasd.jpg&t=663&c=7a4BHSMwWzHDCg) I experinced something very unpleasent. A power outage. It caused my ETH to decrease from 0.2 deposited to the account to 0.197... after one time fee. I restated the VM and now it refuses to start, because i have less than 0.2!

well, it seems the price has found a bottom. -92% of the maximum is a strong fall. it's funny that now a couple of bitcoins you can buy all the coins and be king. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) There is a demand for over a million of WEB and nobody wants to sell ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

There is something very unclear in the article:
"Now go to the VM (!?) and paste the file content in the encrypted-wallet.json file which can be found in the “iexec”(!?) folder on the desktop in the VM(!?)"
what the hell is that supposed to mean??
1. by giving out the contents of my wallet i agree to provide full access to the VM 2. I don't have iexec folder anywhere
please clarify!
Never mind, solved it myself. The iexec folder is on the desktop of the VM. Which means you have to start the virtual machine first, wait for it to boot, then on the desktop (Ubuntu) there will be the iexec folder with an empty wallet file inside. Now about the ETH. After everything worked fine, the console in the VM shows: you need 0.2 ETH to proceed. However the guide says the minimum it is 0.0073. Which is correct? I'm asking because i have only 0.01ETH available.
