I think It's up to you to choose a mining pool, there are several factors that could help you make the "right" decision. You can see the different mining pools, the difficulties, the minimum payout, the fees, the location.

It's not a question about which one is better, it's about which one suits you best.  Wink

Check those details on our reddit.

You can send coins to others by running the following command on webchaind console:

> webchain.sendTransaction({from:'YOUR_WALLET',to:'OTHERWALLETNUMBER', value: web3.toWei(0.05, "ether"), gas:21000});

where 0.05 is the WEB amount you want to send.

The price is still extremely low, but it looks like the coin is already at the beginning of the bullish trend. Wink If the project reaches Stratis level, then the price for 1 web will be 20k sat .... if the EOS level, then the price will be 100k + .... if the level of capitalization of the ETH ... Shocked Shocked Shocked I'm sure in the coming years the growth will be tens of thousands of percent

We have updated Webchain page with our team information. Here we are https://webchain.network/team. We are fully remote company, some of us work with each other for many years. We will later update our page also with additional information about the company and our goals. Other than working on goals from our roadmap, we are currently busy with adding few important features like mining Webchain on Coinimp and some secret ones. This project revelead only around 30% of it's goals. Why not 100% or even 300% like some other? because we are afraid someone will steal our ideas. We use private repo which is hot from our commits, recent random screenshot: http://take.ms/4AYC3 and it's absolutely not even peak time for us so normally in few hours we work even harder. All our efforts are connected to Webchain and ecosystem we are building around it. Webchain project in itself is interesting enough to hold on it's own, but it will truly thrive when we finish all our plans and only then you will be able to see full WEB potential.

I wonder why there are so few miners? The difficulty makes it possible to confidently hold a profit of $1.8-2/day from 1 kh/s.

Hi perog, seems like people haven't considered the profitability of mining the coin, probably because they check the price and they don't like it. The team keeps doing its job and we are sure the coin will stop being undervalued anytime soon and that's why we keep inviting users to join and help secure the network while making profit.

I think you're right. Maybe it's worth adding the web to resources like whattomine.com and cryptunit.com?

We've been collecting those sites. I added those two to the list. Thank you so much.

Hello Webers,

Just discovered this nice coin and started mining it.  But ran into some problem.

 2x X5670 processor with 6 + 6ht ea.

I was getting low 160ish hash initially with 12 core/null setup.  But I was thinking its low and turned off HT on bios, and now its around 340ish hash.

I tried to see if I could set cpu affinity setting, but I don't understand mask number system.   I know its binary but I am too stupid to comprehend it.

Can some one help me with correct affinity setting so that, I can keep HT on, and have miner ignore it? So that miner just uses 12 main cores.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks.

you can use -t switch to specify number of cores used. For example: -t 3 limits the number of cores to 3. The webchain algo needs about 2mb of L3 cache per core, so you can divide your L3 by 2 and set the resulted number after -t

Hi, I just discovered this project. It looks good and intersting. However, i'm getting very low hashrate on my laptop (i5) (~40h/s on the command line and only 27h/s on the pool). I heard that I can activate "huge page" but I don't think it's possible on windows 10 home.
