I think on the slush my account page on top there's a link to slush pool beta which gives more of a breakdown on things.

Thanks for all the replies but 0.5 is a bit more than I would be able to pay for them right now.

Even doing the math at 0.3 it will take me a awhile to get that back from them.

I will probably just keep an eye on the message board here and hope I get lucky and find a deal.

Thanks everyone.
543  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Antminer S3's in the US on: February 14, 2015, 03:50:06 PM
The lowest I have seen around here was about 0.3 each so I was hoping to get them for close to that.

Thanks
544  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Antminer S3's in the US on: February 14, 2015, 04:56:55 AM
I am looking for two or maybe more Antminer S3's. Looking for someone who is close to Florida to save on shipping.

I have the following power supplies and I think most should work to power the S3s?

Corsair CX500
Corsair CX600
Corsair RM1000
Server Power Supply that runs two Antminer S1's

545  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer S1 wifi antennas question on: February 01, 2015, 01:23:28 AM
Oh wait it is the right connector.

I was looking for the big gold color screw piece and not the little black wire connector piece that is connected to the board.

Well that's cool I will try to connect it tomorrow and see.

Thanks again
546  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer S1 wifi antennas question on: February 01, 2015, 01:12:57 AM
Well I took apart a Pavillion G7 and not the right style antenna I guess.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaH4GLDHgms

The good news I can sell the screen here or on ebay maybe.

Plus is was kinda fun taking it apart.

I have some more broken down laptops around here I will mess with and see if I can find an antenna.

547  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer S1 wifi antennas on: January 31, 2015, 10:44:23 PM
Oh thanks for that adaseb, I have a junk laptop i might tear apart to find that.

I am not very computer smart so I didn't even know that would be in there but for a laptop to get wifi i guess it would make sense.

Also thanks to cncguru who gave me a great deal for the ones he had.

I do have a couple quick questions though.

Are all antennas created equal?

Like I have seen some on ebay with the cord and its like a wire spiral antenna and then I have seen longer rubber coated antennas and shorter rubber coated antennas and was wondering does size matter and is there a noticeable difference?

Also wanted to ask to be sure if the antennas from an S1 will work on an S3?

Thanks again

548  Economy / Computer hardware / Antminer S1 wifi antennas question on: January 31, 2015, 12:30:06 AM
Wanted to ask if anyone had some Antminer S1 wifi antennas for sale cheap.

I would need up to 4 of them and I live in FL.

Thanks

I registered here and started reading and learning about bitcoin in 2011 when they were just $2 each. Max Keiser got me interested in them.

I never did buy any back then and wish I would have at least spent a twenty. I did mine with my laptop graphics card for a bit but didn't get much.

I did try to sell some things on a website called bitcoin classifieds and my items are still up. Never did sell anything but it just goes to show you the value of bitcoin back then.

For just half a bitcoin you could have bought this in 2011 - http://www.bitcoinclassifieds.net/ad/374_Brand_New_Sealed_Secrets_Of_The_Kama_Sutra_DVD/

For just a quarter of a bitcoin you could have gotten one of these fine HD DVDs.

550  Economy / Lending / Re: Should I use btcjam to loan out to people? on: December 14, 2014, 05:19:28 AM

does that company go after the defaulted loans on the behalf of the lenders?

I think they provide something where you would have to take it to small claims court to obtain a judgement and then you would need to try and collect on that judgement.

I haven't been in that situation yet where a loan has defaulted the full 90 days so am unsure of the process.

What I think we will see at some point is bitcoin debt collection agencies just like the credit card collection agencies who buy old defaulted debt and try to obtain judgements through the court system to try and collect.

551  Economy / Lending / Re: Should I use btcjam to loan out to people? on: December 14, 2014, 05:09:22 AM
BTCjam does have some users who don't pay. Some may be scammers who never intended to pay and some may have had a situation arise where they were unable to pay.

But there are also some good users there too who are honest.

I would be very interested to know the amount of bitcoin lost on BTCjam to the amount of bitcoin lost here on this forum.

There is no perfect place to invest without risk. If you do decide to try BTCjam just start out small at first and make a few investments you think might be safe and see how it goes.

If someone doesn't pay on BTCjam it goes into default after I think 90 days and then it is turned over to a company called net-arb i think it is and they will release all the info they have on the borrower I guess.

I am somewhat new to BTCjam still and am unsure what is exactly turned over to investors after the default. Also unsure how easy or hard it would be to collect on a loan that has defaulted.

Oh i misread your post I guess. You say about tryng to withdrawl and not getting your emails to confirm.

Maybe the email could have gone to spam? If not again hopefully CSwill get back to you quickly
553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: November 20, 2014, 03:41:51 PM
A response from BTCjam can take a couple days or up to a week.

I wasn't sure on your post but if you have your 1.4 bitcoins invested you will have to wait to be paid back. You can issue notes on your investments in the note marketplace of the site for faster payments but there is a fee and you might not get your full asking price.

If your 1.4 bitcoins are just sitting there in your account you should be able to transfer them to coinbase.

Hopefully customer support will get back to you quickly.

554  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCjam Loan - Silver Pawn on: November 10, 2014, 07:37:59 PM
The loan was 100% funded the third time.

Not sure if anyone from Bitcointalk helped invest but thanks if they did.

555  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCjam Loan - Silver Pawn on: November 07, 2014, 01:27:36 AM
Well my loan didn't get funded the second time around so I am listing it again.

https://btcjam.com/listings/27109-silver-pawn-1

I was able to get my income verified so hopefully that helps.

Thanks

556  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCjam Loan - Silver Pawn on: November 01, 2014, 01:44:00 PM
Can you provide a valid collateral? Please.

The collateral would be the silver but it would not be worth it to send through the mail to someone because of the weight and amount of loan.

It is also a BTCjam loan so not sure how collateral would work with that.

Thanks

So, again, can you provide valid collateral?  If not, you are wasting your time and ours posting your loan here.  Your time may not be worth much, but mine is.

Apparently your time is worth quite a lot, but you posted multiple times on this thread when you say he is just a scammer. If you think he's a scammer post ONCE and move on stop arguing like children. Wrong quote lawl. *Directed to vod* You guys know what I mean. Just because somebody is new to the forums they get called scammers. Is the word scammer the new welcome?

I have actually been here on this forum longer than VOD and I think that was partly why I was so surprised at what he did by leaving the negative feedback for me.

I have been on many other forums and message boards from cards to comics to coins and while there are dishonest people there I have never been outright called a scammer and left negative feedback the way he did to me here.

It appears to me, and I could be wrong, but it seems that VOD leaves bad feedback for anyone associated with BTCjam. I understand that he feels there are a lot of scammers and dishonest people there but there are a lot of scammers and dishonest people here on this forum as well.

Its good what VOD and KWH and the others do when trying to spot scams and protect people but I think VOD takes it a little to far and leaves wrong feedback for some. Even after I offered to prove I am not a scammer he will not budge and will not remove the feedback. Perhaps he doesn't like to admit when he is wrong? I don't know.

Either way I am confident that negative feedback will be removed at some point as I have contacted the owners of this site to have a look at it and get it removed.

I am a very honest person with good feedback here and elsewhere and for one person to just ruin it the way he did is just unacceptable.

557  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCjam Loan - Silver Pawn on: October 31, 2014, 01:22:15 AM
My old listing has expired and did not get fully funded.

I have relisted the loan again if anyone is interested.

Thanks
558  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC Jam loans on: October 28, 2014, 09:30:24 PM
If it is not removed I will take further action as I believe it is harming my reputation.

Stop posting about it and take further action already.  My feedback on you is correct.

It is not correct at all. It is an assumption by you and you are wrong.

I had asked another trusted member who helps out with identifying scammers if he would allow me to send him my deposit bitcoin address for BTCjam to show how much I have put in and also screen shots of my listings I have invested in.

I think this would show you I am not a scammer as I have more than double invested into BTCjam and it shows I am actively invested there too and not going to run off.

559  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: October 28, 2014, 01:35:19 PM
sorry i want to understand

reputation for me and as i understand and every p2p lending service is
have the qualities as a borrower
so it is easier from a investor to come into p2p service, search and invest to you with payback the investment plus the rate.
better reputation means next loan with better rate

i say something wrong ?

here is the
Rules for Borrowers
https://btcjam.com/legal/rules_for_borrowers
Rules for Lenders
https://btcjam.com/legal/rules_for_lenders

Reputation inside BTCjam is worthless and even false.   It is abused by scammers to get larger loans.   Collateral should be required by BTCjam or else BTCjam shouldn't be able to collect until the investors do.

I don't think that is fair to say as there are some honest users on BTCjam who have earned their reputation.

I do think they should do away with and not allow the rep loans though.

The good borrowers are important but BTCjam is tainted by the swarm of scammers there.   I should have never invested anything there, I'll probably never get the BTC I invested there all back.

I think I have seen your name there commenting on a listing.

I have about 1 bitcoin spread across some investments on that site and am hopeful but have also started to taake a closer loom at what and who I am investing in.

I guess there will be scammers everywhere so all we can do is use our best judgement.

560  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC Jam loans on: October 28, 2014, 01:30:45 PM
The person with a many negative feedbacks asking to invest bitcoins in his loan request on btcjam.

Mate, No one will take interest in you and your loan listing as you have already many negative feedbacks on your profile.

Stay away from lending section.

If you mean me I only have those negatives because of one person and they are listed there maliciously I believe.

I have taken action to get this corrected as I have contacted the moderators and owners of the site.

If it is not removed I will take further action as I believe it is harming my reputation.
