541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your passwords? on: January 14, 2014, 03:52:02 PM
My password(s) is a 256 bit hash of several answers to very personal questions. Basically a puzzle that you have to solve in certain order.

Yes, it's a big hassle to retrieve it. On the other hand, yes it's a big hassle to retrieve it.  Grin
542  Economy / Economics / Re: How much will BTC be worth when it replaces how much of fiat? on: January 14, 2014, 01:46:27 PM
Why does it matter how much BTC will be worth in USD in the future? Why does it matter now? Unless you're a speculator, the whole idea is to abandon fiat. Once bitcoin replaces fiat, fiat will be worth 0 because nobody will use it, ideally.

543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This months plan - [ Boycotting the FBI Coins ] on: January 14, 2014, 02:15:25 AM
Bitcoin is bitcoin. It is nothing more than a string of ones and zeros. It's got no past.
544  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bicoin biggest scam in the early history !!! on: January 13, 2014, 09:02:14 PM
In your words i can feel the hard feeling or Hard showing envy of early adopters and their achievements and advantages.
You are still not so far if you want then you also could start mining, Today also you can get in mining from 1K to 100K investment just different is that what you want to invest. Dont blame for your mistake.
Untill Bitcoin was few Cents and few Dollar no one fucking care and today you cant blame on it.

What achievements? What advantages?
His mistake? What mistake?
What blame?

Calm down. In your works I can feel young and tender age. Maybe a lack parental love, too.

545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get your non-tech-savvy friends/relatives into Bitcoin on: January 13, 2014, 07:00:06 PM
Bitcoin is not easy to use for a normal person in its current state.

I would not feel comfortable introducing anyone to Bitcoin until the public/private keys, wallets, encryptions, etc. are simplified or better yet completely abstracted. I can image someone like my father locking themselves out of their savings pretty easily without realizing it.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hashers are not miners, and Bitcoin network doesn't need them. on: January 11, 2014, 09:08:44 PM
Bitcoin is open for anyone to join. There's money to be made from Bitcoin. People flock in to turn a buck just like dogs follow the scent of urine. That's just the natural order of things. People design software with good intentions but good intentions don't count for nothing in the end and some things just can't be foreseen.
547  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thinking about naming my baby girl Bitcoin.. (due in 3 weeks) on: January 10, 2014, 11:40:19 PM
OP you should change your own name to "Bitcoin".
Or if you want less thrills, start off with a bitcoin tattoo and see how you like that. A tattoo is easier is hide.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I asked Digitally Imported.fm, about Bitcoin... on: January 10, 2014, 08:46:37 PM
Seems like a reasonable reply.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central Banks could EASILY destroy Bitcoin (if they want) on: January 10, 2014, 07:34:58 PM
What if Satoshi was a fictional character created by the Central Bank?
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just paid my Patent lawyer and incorporated with Bitcoin. on: January 10, 2014, 05:55:40 PM
A patent? Is it related to core Bitcoin technology?
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to "lost" bitcoin on: January 10, 2014, 04:33:56 PM
All those... bitcoins... will be lost in time, like... tears... in... rain
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that a large online retailer is accepting, bets on who's next? on: January 10, 2014, 02:50:25 PM
The next obvious step would be for this large online retailer to hold on the Bitcoin that they new started accepting. Do they not have confidence in the Bitcoin currency?
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Move Bitcoin's radix point 3 steps to the right to improve BTC acceptance on: January 10, 2014, 02:14:39 PM
In other words make rich people richer and poor people poorer?

It's just a naming convention, it wouldn't make people richer or poorer.

The "psychological" effect goes both ways.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Move Bitcoin's radix point 3 steps to the right to improve BTC acceptance on: January 10, 2014, 02:07:54 PM
In other words make rich people richer and poor people poorer?
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ghash.io has voluntary to suspend parts of service! on: January 10, 2014, 01:55:52 PM
Why aren't pools just banned?

Or limits put on pools?

Why? That's regulation which is kinda against the whole idea of Bitcoin...
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BOYCOTT all businesses associated to Alex Waters, Matt Mellon, and Yifu Guo! on: January 10, 2014, 04:05:36 AM
The ledger is available to the public. And the public may do anything they wish with this information. If they want to spend their resources on something this stupid, who cares? Let them. It's not like they're doing something illegal anyway. Transparency is one of the foundations of Bitcoin.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are premined? Did satoshi really premine 1 million bitcoins? on: January 10, 2014, 03:57:18 AM
I he did he deserved it.

It's questionable whether or not he deserved it and whether or not it was for the good of Bitcoin.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All this mining is ultimately meaningless on: January 10, 2014, 02:48:59 AM
Mining in its current form is a little bit wasteful. There's no reason why miners couldn't be solving scientific problems or something along those lines to validate transactions. Maybe one day such systems will exist.
559  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto breaks silence in landmark interview on: January 10, 2014, 12:06:44 AM
Wow, so the man behind Bitcoin is really a woman...!?
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All this mining is ultimately meaningless on: January 10, 2014, 12:00:25 AM
... primes that are multiples of the block hash...

Don't make me say it.

They're called block primes. Don't you know that man?
