541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: April 09, 2017, 05:57:21 PM
Bitcoin has been steadily losing market cap dominance, from 90%+ just two years ago to ~80% today.

When it comes to exchange dominance it's just 66.4%.

This trend will probably continue and in a few years there will be people using cryptocurrencies that do not know what bitcoin is.
No chance.Altcoins are just pump and dump coins.Only Bitcoin deserves to be the king of cryptocoins. All altcoins were in need of bitcoins even to show their price value.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin defeats the Chinese government on: April 09, 2017, 02:20:45 PM
Bitcoin has been increasing in number of users along with the increasing adoption. Chinese market is much adopted to fake volume to make the transactions high. After PBOC's inspection upon exchange websites this came to an end, soon price became stable and started to have a real increase in price.
Bitcoin is now more or less free from chinese gamblers and manipulators and its good for bitcoin progress.Bitcoin was created mainly as a decentralized currency and china was a great threat to this decentralization feature these much days. Here after, bitcoin price will reflect its real value and not a manipulated value.
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think They’ll Use the US Dollar on Mars? on: April 09, 2017, 01:45:19 PM
It is a good idea if Bitcoin will be the currency in the space.
But I dont think to some governments if they want it.
And im think Bitcoin technology is fit in the space.

Yes,bitcoin would be the best choice for space.Digital transactions would make life in space easier.already,Richard brandson has said that bitcoin payment will be accepted for space tour.If it happens, dont know how much time it would take for transactions to be confirmed in mars.
544  Economy / Economics / Re: china will no longer able to control bitcoin market??? on: April 09, 2017, 01:35:49 PM
Possible or not if bitcoin users increase, china will no longer able to control bitcoin market. i see china market always try to dump the price even other exchange want to the price keep rising.
Here after, china willnot be able to control or dump bitcoins.Even if they try to dump, they would end up losing their bitcoins to investors of other parts of the world.People all over the world have relized bitcoin's potential and they are ready to buy bitcoins.China dragon has lost its power.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump tax on foreign remittances could open market share for Bitcoin on: April 09, 2017, 01:01:09 PM
If Trump decides to tax remittance payments from people in the US to people in other countries, these people could seek ways to send the money without paying the tax. I believe Bitcoin can make that happen!

In the US the remittances to Mexico alone total $27B annually. Imagine if that kind of volume all of a sudden was being flowed through Bitcoin. That would be incredible!

How do we spread the word that this is an option if Trump begins to tax these Dollars?

http://money.cnn.com/2017/03/20/news/economy/mexico-remittances-trump/index.html
Dont know how many foreign people working in US know about bitcoin. If they all come to know about bitcoins, then they would surely adopt bitcoins to avoid tax on their remittances. It would make user base of bitcoin to grow and overall,it would help for bitcoin progress.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining fees will eventually kill bitcoin on: April 09, 2017, 12:45:18 PM
Now that the SEC has rejected the Winklevoss bitcoin ETF, I decided to actually glance through their S-1 (registration statement) that they filed with the SEC just for the heck of it. The S-1 requires a statement and discussion of possible risks associated with a security that is seeking SEC registration. In the Winklevoss S-1, I found this section particularly noteworthy (emphasis is original):

Quote
As the number of Bitcoins awarded for solving a block in the Blockchain decreases, the incentive for miners to continue to contribute processing power to the Bitcoin Network will transition from a set reward to transaction fees. The requirement from miners of higher transaction fees in exchange for recording transactions in the Blockchain may decrease demand for Bitcoins and prevent the expansion of the Bitcoin Network to retail merchants and commercial businesses, resulting in a reduction in the Blended Bitcoin Price.

If transaction fees paid for the recording of transactions in the Blockchain become too high, the marketplace may be reluctant to accept Bitcoins as a means of payment and existing users may be motivated to switch from Bitcoins to another Digital Math-Based Asset or back to fiat currency. Decreased use and demand for Bitcoins may adversely affect their value and result in a reduction in the Blended Bitcoin Price.

Not only is this a risk that they highlighted, my view is this is inevitable, and that mining fees will eventually become prohibitive not only to bitcoin expansion, but everyday bitcoin function. This is the flaw that will eventually render bitcoin unusable for everyday commerce, and the price will decline accordingly as demand for coins falls off as a result.

Mining fees will eventually kill bitcoin, the question is if this is avoidable with some type of change, or a predetermined fate that cannot be altered due to the nature of the ecosystem?
Its the biggest issue which the bitcoin environment is facing today.I had to pay my friend some amount and so i sent btc with a fee of 0.0009 manually set hoping that it would be confirmed quickly. But what happened is i had to wait for 24 hours to receive the payment. In this digital world, every thing happens fast and digital gold taking more time seems very much contrast.

548  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: April 09, 2017, 08:47:56 AM
i think you should try for trading, but not all in. make it a small amount for first then if you have understand, then you can trade with half amount or some amount of btc you want.

for investing, if you really curious, you have to find what kind investing do you want.
yes, start trading with a small amount. If you were to trade in altcoin market, you should be very cautious since its a highly volatile market.By trading, you can increase your amount quickly and you can change your decisions at any time. But,in an investment, you have to wait for a certain period to get returns.

549  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: April 09, 2017, 08:40:24 AM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.
Young people are already familiar with digital transactions unlike our grandmas and grandpas who knew only paper money.I agree that risk is involved to succeed in life, but the risk should be a calculated risk and not a blind risk.

552  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is no reason for small price changes, Stop looking! on: April 09, 2017, 08:09:07 AM
I keep seeing new topics in this board looking for reasons for rises or drops and they always have one thing in common: the change has been small.

I say any change smaller than $50 is normal with bitcoin and it is because of the normal fluctuations that any other market also has. but the range of changing is bigger with bitcoin because its market cap is much smaller than others.

what are your thoughts on this?

I strongly agree. There is no reason for some emotional reactions, panic selling or buying and deeply questioning about some "secret" reasons for increase of the price.
Current pumps and dumps are within the range of normal Bitcoin price fluctuation and vlatility so everything is under control. However, we'll see what will happen in the future.
Yes, its quite natural to see a small change in price any time.It should not be taken as a matter of serious discussion. It differs in accordance to the increase and decrease in buy and sell orders.but if there is a big difference in price, then it has to be considered.
553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: April 09, 2017, 08:05:15 AM
Hi,

I don't know what to do  Cry

How you think bitcoin will go up or down in near 2-3 weeks?

It is very important for me...

What you will do with your btc also?

Thanks.
I would advice every one having Bitcoins to just hold and not to sell them considering any market changes. Its price is sure to increase and bitcoin's predicted price is $2000 for 2017 end.Hope there would be no obstacles like BU this time to reach that price.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: April 09, 2017, 08:01:01 AM
So when does everyone think we will breach, and hopefully stay over, the $1300 mark again?
Dont worry. Its already $1190 today.Happy days are soon to come.Bad days due to BU have gone.once again,Bitcoin rally has started and this time its unstoppable.
555  Other / Politics & Society / If you kill cow, then you will be killed. on: April 09, 2017, 07:56:52 AM
Hindus believe cow as their sacred animal. Most of them dont eat it and they think killing cow as a sin.But what the problem is,in india, some hindus call themselves as cowrakshaks, meaning saviors of cow and they start attacking and even killing other people if found eating beef or carrying beef with them.Either you dont kill cow, otherwise you will be killed. Its their slogan.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: April 08, 2017, 01:09:26 PM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar
I have only 0.25 btc.I have tried a lot to save 1 btc but i couldnot save because of my family expenses.Another main reason is that i lost around 0.20 btc by trading in altcoins.Yet,im trying my best to join 21 BTC group in future.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 08, 2017, 11:29:30 AM

Some day in the future, you will realize that the best time to invest was not today, but some other day in the future, when prices were low. But with the information that you have today, the best time to invest is still today, because you do not know when prices will be low, and you do know that the longer you hold your investment, the more time it has to grow.

Toughts?
Even now,its a right time to buy because bitcoin price is 41190 today and its predicted price is $2000 for 2017 end.But if you had bought it last month when its price was $900 due to BU issues, you would have got more benefits.Just as we cant say that we are late to start using internet now, same is the case with bitcoins.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 08, 2017, 11:16:44 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I would definitely chose bitcoins.Gold cannot give as much returns as bitcoin in the next ten years. As far as security is considered, bitcoin works in a secured block chain system and no need to worry about our investments.Even when we consider about transporting gold or bitcoins, bitcoins could be easily sent to any parts of the world quickly unlike gold which has serious security issues for sending.
559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: April 08, 2017, 11:04:51 AM
My recently being attacked by terorist ( ISIS were behind of it )
As we know ISIS mostly made by islam. They must be stop from now or they can do more worse
what?ISIS made by islam? That would be the greatest joke of this century.
ISIS is the evil child of israel. It was just created to destroy peace in the middle east countries and they are doing it perfectly.Even if US media says that hitler was a muslim and he destroyed jewish according to islamic principles, still some fools will be blindly accepting it and start shouting that hitler is a muslim terrorist.
560  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: April 08, 2017, 10:56:08 AM
Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes,I believe.

Its the most holy truth in this universe.

just a simple logic question? When any one shows you a chair or a table and says that it formed by itself, will you accept it or scold him that he is a mad.If it is your answer for just a chair or table, then what would be your answer for a human?Do you believe man formed automatically and his brain formed automatically and seated in head automatically and heart formed by itself and started to beat automatically and kidneys formed by itself and started purifying blood automatically,is there any logic in these answers.I dont think so.Just think and soon you will get the answer for your question.
