How about a nice cigar? I used to smoke them back in the 80's when it was the "cool" thing to do.
I'll still dabble in smoking one every now and again but not like back then.
542  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: June 15, 2015, 11:38:28 AM
After the fall of Mt. Gox ...I think this is very important Q to all Bitcoin newbies like me.

It is more than a year now people are expressing their exchange of choice. So, I thought of listing them below...

Direct Trading Exchange :-

i. www.LocalBitcoins.com

ii. www.100bit.co.in

Real Time Exchange :-

i. www.BTC-e.com

ii. www.BitStamp.net

iii. www.Kraken.com

iv. www.CoinBase.com

v. www.OKcoin.com

vi. www.BTCchina.com

vii. www.Cryptsy.com

viii. www.Bitfinex.com

Localbitcoins.com. Its easier and do not have much complexity. Although chances of being scammed are more there, but still faster and we can actually communicate with other users and eventually can grow as a bitcoin community.

I dont use local bitcoins because of all the scamming. I do agree with most of the others on this list just not cryptsy. Those guys make me nervous.

The Culling

By Phase 3, we have built a community of skilled, active traders and investors who have arrived from many parts of the crypto landscape.  Many of these traders and community members have established brands and escrow reputations within the CryptoCircuits ecosystem - through their participation in the various Slack rooms, being on-air in After Dark, and in their trading, teaching, and escrow dealings within the community. We have a strong network of branded escrow agents within Circuits - and now these escrow agents  step forward to escrow The Culling.

The Culling is a 30 day period where any investor can post via Whale level escrow an offer to buy or sell any amount of Circuits. There is one simple rule: once an offer is posted and escrow established, anyone can propose the opposite of the offer, and the agreement is immediately effectuated.

Example: Sam offers to buy 2000 Circuits for 2 btc. He places both 2 BTC and 2000 circuits in escrow. Anyone can now immediately sell those Circuits to Sam - but anyone can also immediately demand 2000 Circuits from Sam at that exact price, and the sale is closed.

The result: a second phase price discovery that allows volatile, large scale,  yet completely fair transfer of Circuits to the sharpest traders and those who are intent on becoming the core holders of Circuits.

So only people with BTC and CIRC can take place in the culling? What if a new potential investor only hears about CIRC during the culling and wants to place bids. Will he be allowed?
I do love this idea though, its brilliant. With the way you set up the three phases CIRC will see a lot of attention and action both on the charts and on the thread over the coming months.

None today, but I have my eyes on an ICO I'll be giving a few btc to. Hopefully I'll double my money in a few days.

I do not drink, do not smoke or do drugs, and I have fun.

Well I hope you have fun. Life would be unmanageable if we never had any fun.

Hi Everyone

It has been awhile since we updated here. The team has been hard at work testing the vDPOS 2.0 features and we did not want to post until the testing was complete. That much said, we are extremely happy to report that the builds are now finalized and all features working.

Our biggest challenge has been combining the advanced vDPOS 2.0 variable staking features with unlocking panels in the wallet. Our goal with Circuits is to reward community members who want to take advantage of the more advanced features of Circuits -  including the trading bots, the market discussion chat rooms, and the After Dark social arena. The advanced vDPOS 2.0 features that we have now tested and verified allow us to reward these users with increased staking rates in the advanced wallet panels.

Along the way, we want to help our members become better traders and build relationships across the traditional boundaries of crypto. Our in-wallet trading tools, teaching rooms, Trader Chat and Whale Chat allow us to do exactly this. Look for details in our upcoming ANN on how all this culminates in a very special transformation as Circuits moves into Phase 3 of its roadmap.

We'll be releasing the main ANN within 48 hrs. There will be another post shortly about the revenue streams and coin reduction mechanics (burning). We are looking forward to some exciting times over the coming weeks and months.

Cryptocircuits

48 hours and counting. Please try to be on schedule this time. I will be leaving the country on business in 6 days and I'd like to see this announcement thread up by then.

How about none?
I don't use either.
Never liked the taste of booze, and drugs have never been appealing to me.

I like to check the facts, which some of you might have noticed that I am quite keen on doing.

No, I hadn't noticed.

No genuine investor gets their "facts" by soliciting opinions in an ANN thread - at least I don't, so forgive me if I only judge you by my own standards.

P.S. Which "Marley" are you the ghost of ? The dead roofing company or the dead reggae star ?

I always ask around a bit before making a decision on investing, not really to get the "facts" but to get a feel for the community involvement.
If you get a good grasp on how the community interacts with each other and more importantly with new potential investors then you can make a good judgement on if you want to invest or not.

I told you guys that his family has connections. That's why he's still here. He will never leave or believe that what he's doing is wrong. He is a psychopath and I'm sure he even tortures little animals for fun.
552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: June 09, 2015, 03:54:11 AM
I earned a few btc, did some work for a friend and he paid me in btc.
It's actually not that bad, I helped him build a deck in the back yard, we spent about 12 hours on it and he gave me a btc.
I feel good about it.
553  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about Islam ? on: June 04, 2015, 10:39:12 PM
I think all religions suck. They were invesnted in a time where people had a need to believe in something. These days its not needed and only causes stress, fighting, war and hurt. But I do think that people who believe in a religion, be it islam or other have a right to do so in a safe and polite manner.

No, why would anyone want to do that.
1- Its a money maker for us users
2-its a cool way to get your service out there
3-I make money from it.

If the mods are considering listening to the OP, please reconsider.

I agree with you, but your 1st and 2nd points are literally the exact same point.

They are not even close. One is us making money, the other is a service provider getting his service or product out.
2 different things, not even remotely similar.

556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: russia to be free of sodomites, shuts down perverted anal sex activist rally on: June 04, 2015, 05:19:27 AM
Comparing sexuality to alcohol and tobacco shows you have no concept of the subject at hand.
...and how such prejudice is aligned with discrimination, whether it be individual or institutional.

I found comparison sexuality to alcohol and tobacco in context of this topic was pretty relevant. FYI there is complete ban on tobacco and alcohol advertising of any kind in Russia. Though anyone free to buy and consume those without harassment.

Very similar situation with so called "anti-homo" law. What is prohibited is only "advertising". "Consuming" is fully to you taste.

I'm cool with an anti homo law. Is there a way to pass a PRO lesbo law?

ohhhh man. Cant believe im going to own up to this but last night I had a dream that dash was going to see one last mega pump before it dies and this morning before work I bought 3 btc of dash to be ready for the pump.

Am I the only one here who's having dreams about a dash pump or are there others?

Im holding about 7 million myself. Any chance we can get a community takeover going on here?
I'd be available to help out a bit.

I'll watch this for a bit, seems mighty vague so far but I assume some of my questions will be addressed on the announcement thread. The GFX are wickedly awesome so that grabbed my attention so far. Let's see if the devs can keep it once the announcement is up.
