Response to DigiByte, Hi and thank you for your response. Someone recommended you to us as you have helped the Doge community with KGW implementation. The developer of COMM lost around 200 million coins due to a hard disk failure and as a community we are looking now for someone who can permanently block these coins from being spend. I agreed with the developer that he would issue a stake of 2 million COMM to whoever is capable and prepared to provide a fix. COMM is becoming very popular due to the very strict distribution rules - this created a community who really care about it's progress and are supporting each other very closely. Within 2 weeks it has been listed in 3 exchanges, one of them being Poloniex and shorlty it will be Mintpal. From the following links you will notice that this coin is not a pump and dump coin and that it can have great potential to become even better than Blackcoin: https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_commhttps://www.mintpal.com/votinghttps://www.coinpayments.net/vote-resultsI hope you'd like to be part of this beautiful community and help us fix this 'lost coins' issue that can might hunt the coin and stall it's progress. Please contact CommunityCoin for your stake and keep us updated P.S.: If you have any questions please post them here so that other can help you as I do not consider myself the right person to issue you with technical details. Thank you on behalf of the Community coin Clearly we don't need KGW for COMM. It is retarget at each block, so there's no issue as that KGW coin faces.

This seems like a scam. Why can't you try to recover the 196 Million coins? That supposedly was lost due to a hard drive crash..
no one touches these coins, will just sit in the wallet forever... BTW, dev, have we distributed all the coins? how many left still?

How many exchanges COMM has now?
I know 2, maybe more? anyone has a list? Don't see in OP.

The caravan move on. But lost in the desert without a leader. You're another member of this community that is more of a problem than anything. All your swarm team will do is annoy people. That's the dumbest idea yet. If that's all you got then you don't have anything.
This mess needs to be fixed before you go around telling people about it. First impressions are important.
Think before post!!! Swarm team is not my idea! I am just collecting community incentives! The only problem here is you!!! I want to see your face in reality! Please don't bring your internet tough guy act into the conversation. Nobody's impressed. Why a loser spent so much time to trash this coin? I think there's only one answer: this is a cheater and was recognized by the dev team, so he did not get the 2nd round coin... lmao, continue spending your whole life trashing this coin, your badge already told everyone who you are, keep going since there's nothing better in your life

I just sent the update on github. I did tests but anyone is invited to check it, test it and improve if it is required.
It is important now to have as many nodes (specially exchanges) updated so it will do its job.
Someone need to compile again the wallets for windows, linux and osx.
The only change was made in the src/main.cpp
Adriano
merged, let me compile and test Will that mean a mandatory wallet upgrade ? At least strongly recommended, because that will help block any transactions sending coins from the lost address. It is no big deal since the wallet (and the privkey) are lost, but it is something we had to do to stop scam accusations. Adriano Thanks for the update, I will update the dice site's wallet as soon as I can. I think there is still a little problem with synchronizing from scratch. Right now it should work, but try to avoid deleting the blockchain you can't guarantee no one will ever sync from scratch.

People, please send me test coins, I just finished my yesterday fight with disappeared coins and imported private key to new wallet.dat
what a joke, looks like circus here.

I reviewed your change and I see one problem: you block all transactions with this address. If I sync from now, it is ok, but if I sync from scratch, then it will have problem. Because the address is valid before, and the transactions should be allowed. Only transactions after yesterday's announcement should be rejected. Can you test with a sync from scratch? Thanks for the review. I can't do it today but if nobody test it until tomorrow I will do it. For now it is better to block too much then not block at all :-) Adriano This is not the point. If you block valid transactions, then the wallet will either crash, or will never sync. So the fix will be unusable. And this is dev's distribution wallet, many valid transactions since he distributed a lot coins before this wallet become lost.

Time to buy some cheap coins on Poloniex. I'm selling mine cheap because I want nothing to do with this coin. Reminds me of North Korea ruled by a dictator keeping population in line by ruling with fear. bye...and have fun buying high and selling low ... and I am special (my mother told me ) meeting of the shareholder could be interesting yes. and stop focusing on the price there is 15btc of buy order, which means some people are waiting for the early dumpers (and I assume that unlike mikey_miner, they expect to make a profit) +1, COMM is just the beginning, the future will be determined by the community itself... let the wek hands dump now, we better get rid of them.

This coin is gaining incredible attentions

Nice coin, I like it. No need active mining

Why you forcing us to get other forums accounts? Why I can't just RE here and get my coins?
Because the bitcointalk policy does not allow you post wallet here.

wonderful coin, 1 day holding will generate pos interests, waiting for it

Boy this is HUGE yeah. Agreed. Although this clearly isn't an 'Official' award - hostmaster is certainly putting the effort in on all fronts with regards to making ECCoin a great success ! Proof-of-Stake interest at higher percentages is generally taking sometime for folks to gain a full understanding of in terms of the benefits and as to how it all works. Network security not being an issue, these types of crypto currencies should have a bright and certainly more eco friendly future ahead of them. I like it, it is great!

When will the coins be distributed?
Has anyone received them already?
Yes I received 1 million COMMs, thanks! Now I am a proud member of this community! Be patient, as long as you follow the steps and are qualified, you will get it. I see there are some verifications the dev team will do on each applicant to make the quality of this community better!
