541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your opinion about the current fees on: July 14, 2023, 08:39:47 PM
The issue of commissions is one of the main issues affecting the decision on whether to keep money in cryptocurrency. Recently, commissions have been as high as $50 or more per transaction (when the hype starts). There are also hidden fees when using bridges between blockchains.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: July 14, 2023, 07:39:28 PM
This is not really unheard of, so we do understand why that exists and why that's a trouble. I am not saying that it's a bad thing or a good thing, of course it's bad for economy NOW, but that's how you grow, you go into excess debt and ruin your economy for a while to build stuff you otherwise wouldn't build. Think of a rich person in that case, like someone who has 400 million dollars, and he has 100 million in cash, and 300 million in assets, but also has 250 million in debt.

You know they can pay you, and you know they shouldn't have done that, but thanks to that their assets worth 300 million, that's how they grew. China did it, USA did it and even EU did it as well, it's a common thing to have bad economy just to grow it.

The whole question is, which countries have great economies? There are no such countries, despite the presence of experienced economists. In fact, by issuing BRICS currencies, countries fall from one dependency to another - that is, they move away from dependence on the US and become dependent on China. Exchange soap for soap
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden's administration absorb students from loan debt. on: July 14, 2023, 07:35:26 PM
When you think of it from that point of view, it does seem problematic. Yes, it's a good gesture for the people in debt. But it will highly affect the economy if you think about the long-term effect. First, I thought it is a great work by the government, but then it came to my mind after reading your reply. At what cost? Inflation will happen if this goes on. The government will have no other choice but to print more money in order to cover up the mess. If you see the top of the iceberg, it seems nice and many will think that those students will have much more freedom to contribute to the country in the future. But before we reach that period of time, inflation will kill their dream.
I don't know what Biden was thinking. They could have decreased the amount, but to completely forgive all the loans is going to have a huge impact later on. All we can do now is just sit back and watch what the future holds. If it works according to the plan, then the results will be positive. If not, negative impact will harm the economy a lot.

Presidential elections are scheduled for 2024, and Biden has declared his desire to run for a second term. Obviously, the administration will go for any populist measures to boost ratings. It is quite possible that there are certain restrictions in this decision that will reduce the number of students covered by the law
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 13, 2023, 07:15:11 PM
Trading is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, especially if we talk about day trading or scalping which means that you buy and sell assets within a very short period of time to book some profits, which is what almost every single trader does when they say they are traders, you can barely find people who do long term trading like holding for a week or so so that the profit margin goes higher than the short-term trades we discussed earlier.

Having enough knowledge and experience is obviously required to become a trader or a successful trader, without enough knowledge about the market and the cryptocurrencies, and also not knowing the tools and analysis techniques will make you have a hard time trading different cryptocurrencies.

For successful trading, in addition to knowledge, you need to have good intuition. No trading tool is absolutely accurate. That is why intuition comes to the rescue. It is honed over the years, but you need to have patience. In addition, you need to have strong enough nerves to try not to take hasty actions
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 13, 2023, 07:08:49 PM
Airdrop's are ridiculous right now, and bounty rewards leave a lot to be desired (compared to 2017). Now there are many different platforms for advertising, there is DEX, where everyone can easily create their own token. And the number of tokens is very large right now.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Always ask for POD form from your bank on: July 13, 2023, 07:05:05 PM

Through a legal process, I think even next of Kin is not entitled to the money in account except when the real owner of the account already made an arrangement on payable on death, but in Nigeria, I have forgotten one document they called, it is used to process the money after the owner of the account has passed away, that's what they use to retrieve money in account without getting a lawyer or getting legal process involve but this of course may be different from other country but I'm making reference to Nigeria because I knew you are from Nigeria and if you need a video about the explanation, I will forward it for you.

Death has been my concern and I think this is also a concern for Bitcoin holder who held private key in close secret, it's the best thing to do but I just hope one don't passout with the private key to the grave while the family are on earth suffering to look for money to arrange for his burial. Grin

The problem is that if you give someone the key to your bitcoin wallet, your funds could go missing at any time. The problem is that if you give someone the key to your bitcoin wallet, your funds could disappear at any time. And bank tellers - they are very likely to take advantage of the situation
547  Economy / Economics / Re: The precondition for knowing when the Federal Reserve stops raising rates on: July 12, 2023, 07:15:12 PM
As inflation has fallen to 3%, the period of rate hikes should end very soon. Yes, a 0.25% rate hike is now possible, but the Fed could make a surprise move by announcing a pause. In fact, they're talking about 2% - but it's not really 2%, right? So expect some surprises in the near future
548  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: July 12, 2023, 07:10:21 PM
There are a number of difficulties in introducing this currency. For example, whose currency will have the largest share. At the moment, this role is claimed by the yuan, but whether other countries will agree to it. As far as I know, India is not entirely happy with the proposed conditions
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 12, 2023, 07:07:15 PM
Another reason why marketing is so crucial is that many times there is not much of a difference between the products you can choose, the quality is the same and what you can get out of them is the same too, so the main way to differentiate one brand from another comes from your marketing, and a good marketing campaign can make a product to sell incredibly well, while a bad marketing campaign can send a company on its way to bankruptcy.

Nowadays there is a big problem - too many marketing companies promising to promote your product to the first positions. But often you spend a lot of money on marketing, and the result is zero. Why? How can you check the actions of the hired marketing company? Basically, you can't. You can only hope for their honesty.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 11, 2023, 08:20:12 PM
The development of agriculture in any country should be encouraged by the state. However, it may not develop successfully in all countries. It depends largely on the climate, and on the fertility of the soil, its condition, and, more recently, on climate change in a particular region. But in any case, the government should take stimulating measures for it to develop. After all, according to forecasts, in the future with food, humanity may have problems.

The problem is that not every state encourages the free development of agriculture. There is often a desire to impose a certain plan (remember the example of corn growing in Siberia). And this plan is not always constructive. And artificial food is now taking over the world more and more.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Simple to understood now cash is king again on: July 11, 2023, 08:16:26 PM

A bit of a controversial statement, let me clarify.
Gold, bitcoin, real estate, mi other are investment assets. With different levels of risk. Yes, in times of global crises, gold becomes a "classic safe haven".
BUT ! The problem with gold is that you can't buy bread, coffee or a kilogram of meat with it. In this sense, it is not very liquid, and from the point of view of the real price - no one will evaluate your part of the bullion at the market price. When people start selling gold to buy food, it means "the situation is critical, we have to survive".
Cash - yes, it is a very liquid asset, although it is subject to inflation and other negative processes.

That's why those who have a lot of money invest for a LONG period of time, in gold and so on. Those who do not have a lot of money and opportunities - sell everything liquid in exchange for cash.

The problem with cash is that it has value in certain countries. In the desert, in various other countries, cash has no value. Gold is more liquid. To use bitcoin, you need the internet. For example, tribes in Africa don't have internet (and neither do phones). But even there, gold is recognized. So the main indicator is liquidity in different conditions.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: July 09, 2023, 08:19:12 PM
In my country, I can feel that our local stock market is losing its steam to the public of the ever-growing popularity of bitcoin and crypto in general. Although it is not that serious because the biggest volume in our local stocks came from huge institutions from foreign and local. The ordinary traders' volume may not be that serious but if the trend continues, our local stocks will become less popular among us local citizens.

The halving of bitcoin which in the past meant a huge bull run in the whole crypto market is pretty sure to make another huge interest to our local population here in my country. I can only hope that our local government will cater to these huge crypto exchanges like Binance rather than adopting a hostile approach towards them.

Investing in bitcoin is no less profitable than investing in stocks. The main advantage of bitcoin is its instant liquidity (which cannot be said about stocks). Therefore, over time, bitcoin may become more popular than stocks - but its returns will fall considerably as the price of bitcoin rises.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 09, 2023, 08:10:40 PM
We need to be wise and know how most of these celebrities do there things to create traffic and before more popular. Many kg the beefs and fights we do see online are fake and are not genuine. Sometimes they do that to become popular and gain new followers to the numbers they have. We know that most of these our celebrities even the ones that are not that popular always device a means to trend online so that people can search for there profiles and  follow them. Sometimes they can even ask people to follow some certain profile for the promise of giveaways which are mostly scam attempt.

Everyone has their own methods of promotion, such as clickbait headlines. The question is how well they are used. Staged fights are a long-standing mechanism for attracting popularity.  Shocking content is not uncommon either. In order to become famous, any means is good.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not Just Buy BTC? on: July 08, 2023, 09:40:28 PM
Yes, you can just buy bitcoin and wait, but right now bitcoin is still more of a universal trading instrument. If you know how to trade, you can make money on every rise and fall. Hold is more applicable to other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin hold yields are pretty low right now (not like in the beginning).
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 09:36:51 PM
A good trader knows how to timing the market, and there's no need to trade everyday because this will depend on your strategy.
The most important thing to have as a trader is your strategy, so make sure to have this and commit on that so you won't lose your track.
Trading can be very tricky too, and those who become more greed have a higher chance to lose the money, make sure you wont rush your trading learning because you might miss important knowledge about trading and that can result to a failed trading, have more patience while learning how to trading and just enjoy your journey in trading.

To be successful in trading, you need to constantly improve your skills, as new tools appear to make trading easier. The most dangerous thing is to trade almost without rest, because sooner or later fatigue will take its toll, and you can make fatal mistakes on the spot. Accuracy in trading is essential
556  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 08, 2023, 09:27:04 PM

Agree, don't force yourself to invest in anything if we are not experts in understanding the profit opportunities and the impact of losses from the investment, there are many things that must be learned if you are interested in investing in branded watches because the main category is branded watches with limited production which have a high level of supply, besides the maintenance costs are also very expensive and not all branded watches can be used as an investment.

However, the main point is that we must have the knowledge to manage investments regardless of whether we have watch investments, crypto investments, gold and property, all of which must have their own expertise to avoid the risks of these investments.

Investing in watches looks even riskier than investing in cryptocurrencies. You can buy a watch, but it might break and you won't be able to fix it. Another risk is that the fashion for that model will pass and you won't be able to sell it. After all, the watch could be stolen from you. It is better to buy a bitcoin.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: July 07, 2023, 07:44:14 PM
It will take time for bitcoin to become legally accepted in very country, and even before that time which is a long time from now bitcoin may have already reached this $100k price that you have set as target. there are many events that will favor bitcoin and influence the price positively, and also with the halving which is happening soon, there are still many predictions on the amount it will take the price of bitcoins to. Even if the halving does not carry the price up, it will take it to an amount close for other events to take the price to $100k.

If bitcoin is accepted everywhere, it does not mean that the price will rise quickly. Bitcoin has pretty slow transactions and a cumbersome blockchain. I still think bitcoin will probably be replaced by something else before it goes above 100,000. I hope I'm wrong.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: July 07, 2023, 07:34:16 PM

Stock market is very different from crypto market, and the ones who invest in stock market aren't interested in crypto market. The margin of profit in stock market is quite low against crypto market, but investing in stock market is quite safe when you compare in to crypto market. I would also like to clear the fact that Bitcoin doesn't gives to 20-30% return in one day, and I'm quite sure that no other crypto currency would give you 20% or more a day.

Those people who earn 20% or more from a crypto currency are often the lucky ones because most people would rather lose 20-30%  a week or more if they invest in pretty low quality crypto currency, which is mainly made for pump and dump schemes. Those coins wont give you profits all of the time because they are prone to manipulation, and often whales, and huge exchanges manipulate the price of those coins.

Although, it's possible to earn 100x with some coins in span of a year, but those coins are the lucky gems, and only lucky investors can find those gems that could give them 100x or more in profit per year. If you take the example of Bitcoin then it could give profit of 100 - 200%  per two years. In its current position it would be hard for Bitcoin to pump at 20% per day, however, 5% to 10% can happen few times even with Bitcoin.

In my opinion, one of the main differences between the cryptocurrency market and the aiki market is the mode of operation. The cryptocurrency market operates around the clock, while the stock market has time constraints.  As for the profitability - and in the stock market you can earn 100% or more percent pretty quickly - if you manage to buy shares of small companies that quickly start to progress
559  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of Farming. on: July 07, 2023, 07:28:08 PM
Obviously this is the future, eventually with productivity in land reducing and humans finding more and more spots to settle themselves, vertical farming is the only solution and infact it's more profitable too considering rising land prices in few developing and developed nations. But yes we would need very high tech technology to actually make this a reality because most of the farmers are coming from a uneducated background so for them such a thing is actually difficult.

With artificial food or grasshopper crackers becoming more common, the number of farms may be limited in the future.  Not everyone will be able to establish a farm, and it is likely that the farmer will be allowed to grow or breed whatever is listed on the permit.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall or rise? $30400 the recent price on: July 06, 2023, 08:06:31 PM
In my opinion, bitcoin will rise until early to mid-August (if you follow the Elliot waves). Then the distribution phase will begin and we can expect bitcoin to fall from September-October.  From February 2024 we can expect the start of real growth, as the halving will happen either in March or April 2024.
