Having one single note running is like solo mining and others with 50 or more notes sit in a massive pool and take the cream of the top Back in the instamine days the reward for miners was 100% payout of the 500, now the miners get 80% of the left over scrap 5 Look, we need masternodes to process/mix transactions. We need them to be expensive so that controlling the network is financially unfeasible. We need people to put up masternodes, but they won't stick their money in an unmovable place without a reward. We can't just increase the reward, because that would put the coin out of wack. Ultimately, the true VALUE of the coin is in the services it can provide, which are the same as Bitcoin, but with complete privacy in a secure, decentralized fashion. If mining profitability is too low, people will move on to another coin. If there are too many masternodes, so the rewards are too few, people will close them and use/sell their coin. eventually, we should find our balance. If you don't see value in the masternodes and don't want to "share" your mining rewards, that's fine, you can mine another coin and sell it for dark, or keep it. But those are the reasons for why things are being done the way they are. There are many choices out there for other coins. Anyway, we have to move beyond what is "fair" as some see it, to what will work, proper incentives, etc.... Yes, some people have a lot of money, they are rich, some don't, they are poor. I'm in the 2nd group since I left my job due to illness. But it's those that are wealthy and willing to put their wealth behind this coin so it can work that I thank, because ultimately, the coin will become more valuable and I will benefit. I don't have money to buy better mining equipment (I bought an antminer when I first jumped in here 6 months ago, and it will never ever make enough bitcoin to pay for itself, LOL) There is too much mining pressure for bitcoin and for Darkcoin to make them profitable yet people still mine. I really don't know what to say to your comment. I've invested in a 3 year contract with amazon and pay about $9 a month in fees ea for my masternodes. Kind of similar to paying for electricity. I also mine on and off with my computers because they're on anyway. I don't think we'll be short of miners any time soon. After updating my masternode and qt to new version i did not receive a payment. Its around 36h now.
I did not generate a new key. Do i have to create a new key ?
As it is listed on the masternodelist with flag 1 i did not see a reason why to create a new one.
Dont get me wrong, i am not whining, only try to help get things together

I think the masternode stats are confusing people. Because it has a line that says "payment per day", people think that they're actually going to receive literal payments every day, but that statistic is just an average expectation. I got nothing for nearly 3 days. Then I got 1 payment, then nothing for a day and a half, then I got 3 payments in 6 hours. It's very random - as intended - not regular. You need to wait 2 or 3 weeks before getting enough "randomness" to measure your 'daily' revenue. Stop doing silly things like changing your IP address and regenerating privkeys. All you're going to do is irritate your masternode so it won't give you anything. If your node appears in the list, registered with green lights - LEAVE IT ALONE for a week and then worry. Please do your best! ^^ |

Eu acredito que o racismo seja uma infeliz expressão do desespero humano, que não sendo capaz de se auto definir, tenta ver no outro um antagonismo irreal, inutilmente tentando minimizar o fardo do próprio destino, que é virar pó, mas não sem antes alimentar as larvas, essas criaturas que estão na outra ponta da cadeia alimentar, e que consomem não só a carne podre mas também destroem qualquer orgulho e arrogância que houvesse no infeliz, que ao final só será lembrado pelas cagadas que deixou pelo caminho, nesse triste e desolado mundinho em que vivemos.

Político é corrupto desde a candidatura, pois no Brasil não é possível votar no candidato, aqui só é possível votar no partido, e o partido escolhe o candidato por você.
Para chegar a ser candidato por algum partido o meliante precisa antes fazer inúmeros acordos e parcerias, que obviamente terá que honrar após eleito, e quem não honra esses acordos tem destino certo abaixo do chão.
Para os cargos do congresso a coisa é ainda pior, pois os partidos até aceitam gente comum para candidato, além das celebridades, pois depois podem repartir os votos desses candidatos com outros menos votados, e assim se perpetuam no poder alguns deputados que ninguém entende como conseguem se eleger, pois são bandidos notórios.
O sistema eleitoral Brasileiro é projetado para produzir corruptos, e funciona muito bem.

In any case, I am not saying, you force people to only accept BTC - I say, give them a alternative payment method. The owner of the bar, will in any event, still convert that BTC back to fiat, via Bitpay. So where is he breaking the law?
Maybe the problem there lies on the client having to exchange fiat for crypto in order to make the payment. It would be a different situation if the merchant accepts both fiat and btc, and it's up to the client to decide which currency will be used: then it sounds ok |

This is a very interesting (and also very important) subject. I have become curious about mesh networks since I first learned about p2p (freenet, tor, etc...), and then I have realised that we depend too much on the Internet. The Internet is very fragile. Too fragile to be trusted in the long run. There's no way we can continue depending on it indefinitely. A really independent mesh network is necessary. Independent from the Internet. It's resilience will give us enough safety. I'd like to share here some interesting links that I am sure most of you are already acquainted, but it seems to be important as reference: I am so sorry that I have no technical knowledge to be of much help though, but I'll always be watching this thread. I hope good ideas and projects will come up. (I hope that we will never really need a mesh network: that in the end the world's sinister totalitarian trend is reverted, and freedom prevails after all... but, just in case...) |

True story...
i used my 7970 to mine btc this time last year, i got around 2btc in the first month and they worth around $40 each. i got my elec bill which was alot higher than usual and then because of summertime i couldnt mine in the heat so i decided mining was not for me. Around 4months later btc went to the moon as they say and i was sad that i gave up mining. Then in feb 2014 ,i decided to get back into mining, i seen ltc but diff was too high, doge jus seemed like a joke but then i seen a coin called drk, new x11 algo, i researched it and came here ( yes i have read almost every page here ,lol) i began mining on my cpu and surprisingly got 1 coin,lol i was pleased and even better the pc remained cool, so i went onto most of the exchange trollboxes ( i really went happy crazy on mcxnow, telllin everyone about x11, anon stuff didnt even exist then) i moved onto gpu drk mining and got around 14 drk per day for first week. Then the elec bill came , i was surprised it only went up a tiny bit so i stayed with the drk side. i remember in this forum pages of discussion about the logo,lol but then evan did something i hadnt seen a dev do before, he let the community change the logo, website and asked us all ideas on how drk can get better, then things got really interesting , new features that were just being considered were actually being created and were really working. i have no fear of trolls , i even know who some of them are and the truth is they all sad because they missed out. i get a few drk per week now and people say it isnt worth mining, i disagree because this time last year if i was getting a few btc per week id be very rich right now,( i think btc took around 3years to reach the value of current drk) drk will be worth alot this nov/dec and i dont mine drk for its anon features (which are totally awesome), it mine because of x11,evans vision and the extremly smart community.
