Very simple yes! Setting up a contest needs only a few minutes, you can try it on herosphere.gg, but it's working with fun coins at the moment. You are right there is a lot of room for development and I am pretty sure the developers will deliver something great! They work hard and accurate to provide a perfect betting experience. Sounds good and you say for now it is just working with fun coins? Any idea when you can compete with real money? |

They will be able to get paid in various cryptocurrencies and perhaps even fiat eventually. When it comes it dispute resolution by voting on your blockchain, is there a minimum number of votes required to make a decision valid? What if an expected large group of token holders refrains from voting at all?
There will always be votes in our token tribunal. People will vote because they'll receive a payment for that  In this way our token holders make profit holding the LNC token and help by solving disputes. What if the votes turn out extremely close? Or even result in a draw? We will always have the exact results, it is very difficult to yo have an exact draw. But if something like that happens the platform holders will find a solution. How about forcing the amount of voters in the tribunal to be an uneven number to avoid draws? Not sure if you can even then guarantee a final decision because it must be possible to refrain from a vote or not? What if someone simply doesn't know the answer? Arbitrary vote shouldn't be incentivized. Although it probably already is due to the payment for voting. Dispute resolution is a really complex matter, much more difficult than many would expect. I am interested in the whole solution you are going to provide for all kinds of different problems that could possibly occur during such process. There are a lot. |

Ah ok I see. And in terms of complexity how far can one go in creating a game? Is it just simple bets about certain outcomes that will be answered through the use of oracles?
I don't know all the technical stuff but yeah, basically, you can create a contest (for e.g. League of Legends Worlds which is running at the moment) and set the parameters how many points one get for the right prediction and how the winner will be determined (Winner takes it all, Best 50%, Best 10 participants,... and so on ) Alright so pretty simple for now but there is a lot of room for awesome development then. Can someone give more clear explanation about Bitshares removal from Bittrex? I just noticed this and I have invested in Bitshares thinking it is valuable asset
I still think so but cannot understand whats happening.. I think has more than just 64gb problem..
Apparently somethin was completely off with the coding that cant be fixed. Will be delisted from Polo as well so, another one bites the dust in the shitcoin list of coins Why would you consider Bitshares a shitcoin? It took a bump no doubt about that but it will recover. Many coins have gone through that cycle. |

The first thing I thought of when coming across this thread was the Ethereum Name Service (ENS). I am sure someone asked about it already, but I couldn't find it while scrolling quickly though the pages. How does this differ from ENS or what can this bring to the table that ENS can't?

Already an app, this coin and app could be going places. At least the supply isn't like 1 billion. Will be good for people who live in densely populated areas, and always use their phones. There will probably harvesters who go around trying to get as many passwords as they can, just to get coins to sell them.
I would say the supply is irrelevant. What matters is market cap. With that said I also think the concept has some value. I can imagine using the app in places where you quickly need WiFi but don't have access to any. But there isn't really much interest in this coin at this very moment. Might change though with some convincing user experience / reports. |

Since you are running on top of the Ethereum blockchain I suppose all games have to be very simple in design and scope right? You would be confronted with load issues if they are too complex. Wouldn't Graphene have been the better choice for your project or do you think all scalability problems will be solved soon?
I think you misunderstood the term "creating games". It is meant that you can create your own betting contest for your friends, family, community whatever. HEROcoin (PLAY) is a betting ecosystem. Well I guess this is the problem of all bounty campaigns, people take too many bounties and don't read rules and don't follow them, and the funny thing always like to complain  Nothing to add ;-) So is this already in etherdelta?

Compared to other currencies and assets the value of DBIX is very very low. in fact this is an easy 100 dol coin in few months I admire your optimism and hope it becomes true, but, I think we'll be seeing more modest gains within a 'few months'. DBIX will get there, to triple digits, but it won't be soon. IMO, Hodl for at least +1 year to 18 months yeah man 25x is a long way to go. Not entirely impossible, but then again there are more and more coins flooding the market and attracting capital. Definitely not easy to make 25x. yes it is difficult to gain x25 but its not that long way to go! i think dbix is not only survive but also stable in the market palmex is almost ready to launch but don;t know the exact date of its launch soon dbix will be up and holders of dbix will be very happy by my point of view next year is best and lucky for dbix coin, i will hold until next year and not much time left for 2018 only nov and dec two months. so just little hold more How far has palmex gotten by now and what will be the main benefits from it? |

What kind of benefits does the Ties partnership exactly bring to your project? I missed out on that, could somebody tell me? The Ties network will help the platform to fully decentralize the data storage. So the data of the Blocklancer platform is decentralised and without time issues. Ah I see. I will have to read a little bit about Ties then I guess. Are they similar to Storj? They are similar concepts but with one main difference: Ties Network is what's called a public smart database, for big databases like platforms and projects. Storj is also a decentralised file storage system, but mainly they are focusing on private data. Ok thanks for outlining that! |
