541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 03, 2024, 02:52:14 PM
Today's matches will start with Granada-Cadiz.Both teams are in bad form, but Cadiz are of course in a better position than their opponents.Granada can start with this match if they want to put an end to their bad run.Granada are the favorites, but the match could be a surprise.

Poor Cadiz and Granada, these two relationship with relegation are inseparable, one always goes or sit close to the fense while Cadiz neither do make it to top 4 nor made it to top 5 or 6 place in the standing. However, I think Cadiz is having more reservation in performance to win Granada. Too much loss is what make a team glue to relegation zone and that is exactly what Granada is doing right now, winning a single match to draw 7 and lose 9 is too much, not personal but will be good if they go relegation before the end of the season. Real Madrid, on the other hand, will host Mallorca, the team in form in recent weeks.Mallorca have not lost in the last 6 weeks and it is likely that this streak will be broken today. This is a game that Real Madrid must win decisively. They cannot afford to lose points at home.

Mallorca are babies to Real Madrid, they have been in good form in their recent matches so does Real Madrid and the fact that Real Madrid is hosting them in Bernabeu will make them not let Mallorca has that free space to perform the way they plan. Not even in their last 5 meet up Mallorca was able to win them all, the last one they luckily escape was when Real Madrid was having a rough reason but this time is going to be different.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 03, 2024, 02:39:56 PM
Sancho is back at the right club, it would be good if he left Manchester United. Even though he played without Sancho, Erik Ten Hag still gave bad results for the team. Dortmund feels they can still utilize Sancho' abilities as before. So I wouldn't question that decision too much. The worse Manchester United's performance, the more it strengthens Sancho argument that Erik Ten Hag is incompetent to handle a club as big as Manchester United.

There are rumors that the Red Devils will be active in the transfer market and are already eyeing several players they want to buy to cover the midfield, I might add it would be better to buy another striker, but the biggest difficulty is that Ten Hag always fails to choose players.

Erik Ten Hag will be quick to accept the deal of Sancho not after what has spark between them this season. I will say that it's even better to remain where you are and appreciated than get maltr in another place. When players live Dortmund to English Premier League and other Tier A leagues, they represent well just like we have Haaland but I think so far, Dortmund has been the perfect place for Sancho, if the deal can be fast done, he better live for the transfer than get trash and warm bench everyday in Manchester United that doesn't look like going to the Champions League next season.

January transfer season doesn't have much available players like when we have many in the end of the season because many teams are been careful with how they sell their players, most of the time they don't sell good players except for less reputable clubs that do need money to see good ones that end up turning a new leaf in theit respective new club, I hope Erik get but this wouldn't change anything for them.
543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips to help protect yourself from crypto scam on: January 02, 2024, 05:28:47 PM
Scammers are getting more fortification everyday, just stay safe,

(1) DYOR (Do your own research) always verify the legitimacy of a project or platform before investing your money and time.
Quote

These are very insightful and brief but the more you look into these, the more you find out because there is a high chance you will do every research on crypto and end up been a victim of bad team, bad community, low security that can harm the project by exposure to hackers and many more but Dyor is essential to overcome the basic challenges.

Quote
(2) Avoid suspicious links: Be cautious when clicking on links, especially if they seems too good to be true or from an unknown sources.

This might look underrated but it's one of the needed one, avoiding this one will help you a lot because this drain wallet faster than anything if you are not careful.

Quote
(3) keep personal information private: Never share sensitive information like private key or seed phase with anyone.

Most of us don't value privacy, if you can hide what is beneath you on your cloth, then you need to hide your investment, your bitcoin is yours and not for you public to see and view, chain surveillance are everywhere watching you with their automated bots looking at the input and outputs of your wallets which is very bad practice.

Quote
(4) Beware of fake giveaway.

(5) Use trusted exchange and wallet.

(6) Don't rush: Take time to make informed decisions, and don't let anyone to pressurize you into acting quickly.
https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/1813515239154?ref=381381898&utm_campaign=app_share_link

Giveaways are trap, we have many ways of wallet poisonings now across different chain, if you stamp on any of them, your balance is as good as gone.
There is nothing as trusted friend, with decentralized exchange you don't need any trust, only centralized makes you want to trust them.
544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam Sniffer 2023: Crypto Phishing Scams Drain $300 Million from 320,000 Users on: January 02, 2024, 05:06:51 PM
Looks like a lot of people out in the world doesn't have the knowledge or understanding about Phishing scams. Since hackers are still able to use the phishing technique in 2024 to scam people easily means a lot of people enter the cryptocurrency world without proper security understanding. We in the forum have been discussing these scams for long time. That why we have not fallen for it, X.com has now become a paradise for scammers. I prefer to stay away from social media as much as possible.

It's not like they don't know that phishing exist, they know or must have heard one or two. There is two possible reasons. It's either they are bot contended with what they are have and looking for cheap means to get freebies which often as a result of greed or when they clickbait on a trap by hackers. A scammers will either make you believe something to be too good to be real or they set trap for you in places where you don't expect and when you lose guard, you get phished under a second.

Scammers always modernized their ways into their victims and most of than not is when there is a trend. When Defi protocols were the new thing, they used that to plug lots of money, when it was NFTs, we had many of them her and when meme came, same happened. Even Bitcoin was ones a trend, there was a time when a young boy hack into notable and influencial people and request for  Bitcoin and many of them sent the bitcoin, even Barack Obama account was use to scammed back then. Scammers are always ahead of people, talent they are supposed to use to be creative, they chose to steal instead; isn't that pathetic.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: January 02, 2024, 03:41:59 PM
I just wish to see people view about single bet and accumulated bet. Which one do you till can be profitable when it comes to gambling. Although I normally do the two but in most cases I prefer accumulated bet to single bet.

I will go with accumulated bets, not because of greed but the chance of recovery of losses from the previous. Let's say for instance: Newcastle is having a match against Manchester City and then because of the form of City, you select a straight win X2 with odd of 1.3, if you bet that game with $100 and it win, you will win $130 in return and if the next time you place another bet on Manchester City with another $100 and they lost, you will have nothing and will be left with $30. Your initial $100 is gone and you are left it $30 and to make back the initial, you will probably need to gamble a lot to get back that money before even starting to think of profits.

Now, if you have $100 on 10 odds with 7 games and all won as you predicted, you will win $1k right and you can bet another $100 in your next game, even if you lose you can still have $900 left in your account and with more strategy, you can win more if luck shine on you. The only challenge I see here is that the more you accumulate games, the harder it becomes to win because there is every chance a single game from that accumulated games will make you lose the bets.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 02, 2024, 03:26:44 PM
Actually the rich tend to win more than the poor because they have better risk management which allows them to keep their bankroll incheck such that they loose less often than they win because they know how much they are putting at stake so that makes them reduce their risk to the bearest minimum so as to increase their chances of winning.

Your opinion is justifying how the typical rich and poor tend to gamble but I think it's more of individuality. You can have a gambler who is rich and gamble irresponsibly or doesn't even know how to gamble and incur many losses and there could be a gambler who is poor and basically understand everything you think the rich will do be it bankroll incheck and also maximize profits. But ideally, rich men are very good in management and that is why they don't get emotional and make decision that a poor person will make.

Quote
The house always have that house edge privilege and that's not in doubts as they are most at advantage more often than the gamblers. The poor usually have the mentality of wanting to milk the house all at one by this they tend to increase their risk by making multiple picks such that the odds become too high and their chances of winning reduces but with the rich they make only very few picks and with high stakes, they will be making good amount bof money already but the poor needs to accumulate so much odds to be able to get such amount the rich will get at once and this variations results from their varring staking power.

The house edge depends on the percentage they give and it different when you check different casino provided that they make it public and if that's true. A poor person can have a small amount of money but expect a huge amount in return, this is who they lose even without starting because even in an investment, you can't invest a small amount and expect something huge but they will bet $1 with 100 multiplier while a rich person can wager the same game with $100 with 2 multiplier and they tend to have high chance than those with huge multipliers.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: January 02, 2024, 03:11:46 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.

I will go with blackjack, not a fan of it but you need to be smart and step up your game to be able to come out hole but as for sport, you need skills and you need to know your ways in analyzing but not too deep analysis, you need the basics to win sports games. If intelligence is a measure on how gambling is won, I don't think even an illiterate will win but I have street hawkers, Bikemen and other people that does all type of sophisticated odd job and they win big amount of money through sport betting.

However, each of them has need intelligence to survive particularly when it comes to things like managing Bankroll. You can roll a dice a single time with a big amount of multiplier and recover the money you have lost for the whole weeks, even in sports betting but if you are not intelligent on when to walk out and call it the day, the casino forces will take all from you and would have to go back to genesis, this is where I think intelligent is necessary in all types of gambling.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the altcoin bull run will begin in 2024? on: January 01, 2024, 04:23:12 PM
I'm obviously somebody who believes trading in altcoins is the right way to maximize profits. Now that we're getting close to a new Bitcoin bull cycle, I just wanted to know how soon do you think altcoins will take flight? Are you following the Altcoin Season Index?

Most of the time altcoins pump is after before the halving and after the bull run but things change, don't follow the historical moves of the market but you can use them as a reference and get prepared just in case before they start. As you can see as the halving is approaching, some altcoins have started to peak and recover and even Bitcoin mempool experienced more transactions, don't be caught by whale manipulation because usually, bitcoin prices don't pump on the halving day, they pump before the halving a month before it happen.

The moment halving concludes, that is when you see a particular trend in altcoin and start shooting up because they are usually the low caps that start such run and then others follow and you will most likely see that the rest of the existing coins will rebrand to the same trend just like we had Defi in the last bull run, none of the existing coins were doing anything like defi not until Uniswap was launched and others follow the trend and some of them lose money, so be careful of the type of altcoins you want to buy and sell.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: January 01, 2024, 04:05:12 PM
My little suggestion if you are finding it difficult to send some fractions of bitcoin and the fee were so high or maybe you are sending from exchange why not ask for the person ID, for example Binance do have that feature you can easily request for the person Pay ID and send as little as amount of bitcoin you want to send without waiting for the network to confirm. Few payment that I made I only requested for their ID's and sent to them without any delay. With the rate of unconfirmed transaction I won't advise anyone to transact any little amount of bitcoin because the fee currently is outrageous.

Nice suggestion but this is limited to people that use exchanges like Binance and other exchanges that do internal transfers. Some people don't like exchanges like Binance, they prefer decentralized exchanges where no one will have access to their private keys and seed phrase but only them. I still think we need a permanent solution to curb these BRC 20 tokens but the network is a decentralized place for miners, they will mine them as long as huge fees are allocated to the transactions so they can give them higher priorities and live less fees until they are done before they process the rest.  Undecided

Another challenge is that if Person A is sending Bitcoin to Person B through internal transfer, Person A will not be making any fees to the transaction which is cool but the if the Person B want to withdraw the coin to an external wallet, he will be charge more fees than if it were to be from 1 input to 1 output. Binance withdrawal fee right now is 0.00062BTC to make a withdrawal which is around $26 but if you make use of an external wallet, you will spend less and Binance will not send out your transaction alone, they will combine it as a singe transaction with multiple destinations and will pay less fees because they will charge all the people involved that same amount, Binance is business right!
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 01, 2024, 01:23:00 PM
Sometimes people are always addicted to playing gambling online and this has made them loss alot of funds, due to always topping up theire casino account with there debit card when they loose. and this usually makes them exhaust all there funds.

While those people playing offline in casino halls play with only the little money they have at hand, and that will reduce the risk of over spending. So now my question is this

Playing online or offline gambling which is more preferable in terms of risk reduction?

If there is no addiction with a gambler, there will always be a point of pivot and stoppage either as a person that lives online platform or a physical place but if not for been illiterate of phone, why you would you go and stand in a public place to gamble when you will become an object of the people to see everything you. However, if you have an addiction in gambling, be it offline or online casino, you will always find a way to gamble, it's not about money available, you will always find any means to fund your addiction.

Risk can be reduce with physical gambling because as an online casinos, even in the night you will fund it and s gamble but as for offline gambling, you wouldn't be able to play because they probably wouldn't be available and they also have time they open. This is the only way I think risk and gambling can reduce even if you are not an addicted gambler.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 01, 2024, 01:07:33 PM
That's right, AC Milan may currently making 3rd place as their target this season, even though Milan has the potential to become champion, but with the point difference with Inter & Juventus it seems difficult to overcome. This possibility does exist, but Milan's inconsistent performance could making AC Milan cannot stay in 3rd place or be able to compete for the Scudetto. The most important thing is how Pioli maximizes all the matches he will face in the second half of the season. 3rd position will be the best position for Milan. IMO.

Milan last 4 matches is magnificent, they are showing good form but they didn't start well and apparently, they conceded a lot of goals and that'd why they were able to loss 4 matches and Inter and Juventus loss only 1 one games do far, this is how they were able to stay on top of the tree. The only way Milan can meet up right now is if they don't lose any match from here and perhaps Inter and Milan lose like 3 matches in a row then they will come close and the margin in their points will be settled but the season is just half way, we have another long days to see how the season unfold.

I'm concerned about Napoli growth, the beginning was bad but towards half way they became the face of Seria only to start losing match in the half of the season. They are doing bad to be honest and for a team that came first  in Seria A after many years to be sitting way below Roma says how bad the team has become. Walter Mazzari need new men and strategies as a new coach to take them back else they lose the chance of going the Champions League next season.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 12:53:40 PM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts gambling predictions?

They called it "sure game" for the street, mostly if they want to deceive you, the will say thr game was sent from person who has made life through gambling with full assurance and by the time the outcome is displayed, you would wish you personally make your own predictions because the way the game comes use to be like a newbie predictions with many losses.

I use to tell people that where money is coming, they don't tell people and the hardly share such with people but I don't know why people fall for this scams. There was one this guy was sharing on WhatsApp and was given assurance that it's a sure game and must be played on a specific betting platform, I accepted the game but didn't use the platform. People that played lost, I also made the same selection on my own end and still failed. This is to tell you that they are agents chosen to deceive the public to play on a specific platforms so they lose and the company can gain from their losses.

There is nothing like sure game or sure bets, it's a delusional to think that someone will hive you sure prediction of matches or events you have no connection over. Even fifa itself cannot make changes or predictions about matches talk more of ordinary gambler.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will do to bank what Email did to post office on: December 31, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
Technology has been one of the factors that has made things very easy for everyone, gone are days when people were finding it very difficult of sending letters from one person to another do to the lack of internet, so however for a message to be send across it must go through postal office and before it gets to the recipient it takes up to days. But however the arrival of internet changed everything and made it very easy everyone to convey messages from a person to another through emails.

So Boiling it down to Bitcoin and banks, actually the existence of Bitcoin has greatly improved the mindset of people especially on investment diversification such as profits making because is obvious that any money we put or save on the bank will not yield any profit so instead of people saving much money on the bank when there is a great opportunity offered by Bitcoin to channel all our money with the possibility of making or multiplying our capital in the future. So perhaps do you guys think the reason why most countries are having some restrictions on Bitcoin is because of the effects it has on the bank that people prefer to invest there funds on Bitcoin instead of banks?.

There is a misconception about these email, Gmail, Banks and bitcoin.

When they say bitcoin will replace the banks, it's not like they are going to make banks to be useless like Gmail electrically modernized mail. No, the two are parallel and there is limitations to both of them but they still coexist like two species. Banks are none to be centralized and often limit people when it comes to versatility of financial system but because Bitcoin is decentralized, nobody limit you how and when you should spend your money. If you go to a bank today to open an account, you have to under series of protocol with documents only to be giving a limited account but with bitcoin, it's permissionless as you don't need anyone approval to open a wallet, you can send in and out as many bitcoin thag you need. However, you can't do everything with bitcoin yet because of the legal status limitation. You can't spend bitcoin without the use of fiat and that's why I said in the beginning that bitcoin can't do same Gmail stunt to banks, it's still far from that but who knows maybe in the future.

To buy bitcoin, you need to buy with any recognized currency which is fiat, you definitely need bank interference to help you facilate transactions and this makes banks and bitcoin to exist together, to buy you need them and to sell, you also need them and addition, you have to py tax in fiat in some countries. This is why bitcoin and banks will live for years except if we see changes later on. The big banks are trying to chase out bitcoin though, the recent attack of SEC and other law enforcement says a lot about how they want bitcoin buried 10 feets under the ground.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Deviated from The Vision of Satoshi? on: December 31, 2023, 06:09:12 PM
Look at the Bitcoin whitepaper once more: a peer-to-peer electronic payment system indeed. Was Satoshi really envisioning a payment system so widespread that it became a preferred way of paying for goods and services? What's happening today? Bitcoin is now more of an investment than a payment tool. In fact, it's as if all the cryptocurrencies are businesses for their inventors, bar Satoshi—a means of becoming automatic millionaires rather than a peer-to-peer payment system. In fact, the quickest way to get rich these days seems to be by starting a crypto project.

Not even the guy that started Bitcoin Satoshi Vision is exempted.

Bitcoin, a peer-to-peer payment system? Nah... more of a decentralized speculative investment platform.

Bitcoin has been a speculative assets even before Satoshi disappearance from online, he was here in 2010 and it bitcoin price has started to behave the way it's today. It was even more volatile those days because of low liquidity as it now today. You are not discussing the real challenge of bitcoin, we have more other than it been speculative assets since Satoshi left it to be open for everyone.

Bitcoin isn't longer for Satoshi, it's  now a big digital currency for the world  but the debate of mempool is never ending. This boiled down to the fees and I'm just curious why some BIP(bitcoin improvement proposals) where rejected and they allow bitcoin transaction mempool to be spam. I want to be convince otherwise that we have many other people from miners that love this crazy fees. It's the bitcoin community that are complaining but miners are enjoying everything they ever wanted in this cost of transactions. It still baffle how they stylishly even allow segwit for people to cut down fees only to be spending this huge fees when Satoshi whitepaper has vision and it's clearly stated and yet we want adoption.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 31, 2023, 05:37:11 PM
No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

This should be individual because our excitement rate is not the same. I can win a game today in the morning and the next 2 hours, I have forgotten about it. Not that I don't enjoy the excitement but there is nothing really to joy over if we consider how much the casino has gained from people. Any amount you win from casino, just know that there are hundreds and thousands of more that has lost more than that and any amount you think you have won, if you are not careful, you might even lose more than that after some weeks or mornths, only few lucky bad guys navigate through this losses.

I also feel that as a gambler, when you win a substantial amount of money, it's better to call it off and go rest and try again. The idea of "I win, let me try again" is very bad except for those who does sports and are very sure of what they are doing. You might even be having assurance on some matches only for the team to clear you down, Arsenal made me feel that today. So it's actually subjective and I have given my opinion already.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 05:28:50 PM
Gambling has been a part of our lives if you are an active gambler, and as this year is about to end, I would like to know your New Year's resolution.

Please share it with us here, and please don't make your new years resolution like you will not gamble again, that's against the rule of a gambler.

Also, I like to greet you all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Do I have one? If there is anything new I want to add to my new year wish is gamble less so I can enjoy every moment of life. There was a time this year I over gamble and at some points, I got so stressed and I was badly down with high BP due to anxiety and the reason why this occur most of time is I fear the outcome of what will come after I bet. I used to gamble before and this doesn't occur to me until I started virtual, if you do sports a lot you will understand how dangerous those games were and I became a fan after I win few but the followed losses were beyond my imagination.

I have quit it though but he anxiety I had in 3 weeks looks like months and I don't want to try more on the games. I want to gamble less and play less and enjoy the fun of the sports through watching. More I could add is the more you gamble more is more you lose. So even you are gambling the amount you can afford to lose, after you sum up the money you bets, it will shock you that the amount is actually big that yiu can't afford to lose. Gamble less and work on the skills as well.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 31, 2023, 05:09:41 PM
While all football fans rejoice in welcoming the arrival of the new year, Arsenal is saddened by consecutive defeats in the EPL. This result makes Arsenal even further behind Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. If Liverpool manages to win in week 20, the points deficit will increase even more. Arsenal is still stuck in fourth place with 40 points, only one point different from Tottenham, which is one rank below.

After Manchester United spoilt my mood yesterday, I thought I have had it all but never did I expect Arsenal to fall my hand with Fulham, I'm looking for the right word to use for that club but I have none, nevertheless the are piece of garbage that gave their fans all hope to support only to let them down half way the journey. How can you not lose matches in the beginning of the season only to start playing gibberish matches and make one to lose money. Fulham that was trash by Burnley and Bournemouth but it was a hard day job for Arsenal to the same, the loss is on them, not me.  Undecided

Quote
Losing points in the last three matches made Arsenal close 2023 very disappointingly, Manchester City, which had lost control in several matches, has started to find its path again. Now it is increasingly difficult for Arsenal to regain first position due to their inability to perform consistently which results in losing a lot of points.

If things has gone well, they should be around 46 point to stay ahead of Liverpool but they are now behind Manchester City that were out of the top 4 some days ago, they now share similar points. Tomorrow is new year and I'm very sure that if Manchester City climb back that top of the tree in the standing, they will not back down again especially now that Kevin De Bruyne is back to strengthen their midfield.

559  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 10:05:53 AM
I know, having a car as a young guy is very good to reduce some transport fair in some area and to make it easy for your family or siblings to catch some fun in some good area. But how can someone at the age of 20 years used $28 millions to purchased a car that is not going to bring income to he, when we have some decentralized investment you can invest such amount of money in the bear season and have hope of making more money that will reach you to start other business that will be fetching you cool money. This is what one of my friend did few months ago despite the advise I gave to him to invest the money on BTC or Ethereum, that  he will make more money that will give him more opportunities to build more companies but he never listen to my advice despite the inflation in the country but he went to used $28 millions to purchased Rolls Royce that will not last more than 5 years before it will start looking like old car to the eye of people. If you have such friend that doesn't have any investment and he went to invest such money on car will you continue to take such person as your friend? I have separated from him based on the money he use to buy car that will not add value to his life but people said I would have not separated from him that it have been long we became friends in the environment. What I did is it good or bad so that I will know how to apologize to him to continue the friendship with him.

Life doesn't revolve around crypto, it's not a must to invest in crypto as we have people that have done well in it and also do badly, they lost everything in crypto, you can dispute that. We have people that are not crypto freaks from day and today, they are bastardly rich from their business, so when you want to make reference to investment, do it on a wider scale and not limited to crypto only.

One of the mistakes many young lads make is because they want to be respected by the society, want to impress and feel among but do I really blame them? No. The society mentality has changed where hard work doesn't pay anymore, people want to see you with worthy things before they respect you, the girls want to see the boys in quality life before they hang out with them, the life has changed from trying to impress the families and make them proud to impressing and oppressing people of not achieving what they have and majorly this happen around teenage because they know no shit about life. Give that boy 10 years from now, he will regret the mistake he has made today.

Bitcoin transaction fees have become a topic of discussion lately. A lot of topics have been created about Bitcoin transaction fees. It seems the transaction fees are throwing Bitcoin away from its original goal.

Today I attempted to make a Bitcoin payment on Namecheap. Instead of making transactions from the Ledger wallet, I tried to make them from Binance for a faster transaction since there was a 15-minute time limit. So the transaction and withdrawal fees asked in Binance are 0.0004BTC, which was almost $17 during the withdrawal.

Ok, let's forget Binance withdrawal fees. If I want to make transactions from the ledger, then the transaction has to arrive in 15 minutes. I am pretty sure if I want to ensure the time frame, then I have to spend similar fees, even from Ledger. So it's become hard to pay $17 transaction fees to make a $50 deposit. And by force, I had to use a virtual card that doesn't cost anything (I didn't notice any significant fees) and was an instant transaction as well. It made me believe that we are drifting away from Bitcoin's original goal in some way.

Didn't we all like Ordinals and BRC20 tokens? The community can do it, deep down they know these shits are as good as spamming the network and agitation of the mempool with sudden increases in fees but miners will turn a blind eye and say it's good for adoption because where they are making money is degrading twice in every four years and they will use this to compensate their revenue, this is bad even if we make a 100% profits doesn't mean we have to spend everything later on the fees.

Binance will not think twice about spending anything on the fees because their ways of processing payments favours them. In the space of 15 minutes of waiting, they can have more than 10 request withdrawals or even more and when they process these 10 outputs and it happens to be a segwit wallet address, they will spend less than what they collect from all the users. Let's say they collect $17 each from 10 people, that's $170, they can decide to spend $80 on the fees for the combined transactions to get into the next block and they hold the rest of the money. Most of the time, Binance don't spend money on a single transaction, they combine them to lower fees but isn't that better than sending from a personal wallet that will ask for $30 for the next block.
