541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Odds for approving a Solana spot ETF? on: March 03, 2024, 06:09:40 AM
It is too early to think about a spot ETF application and approval for Solana. We need to fist wait for Ethereum and Litecoin as the application for spot ETFs for both blockchains are still pending with the SEC. If these two gets the approval then we can anticipate an application for Solana. I don't think it is the right time to speculate about an ETF for Solana blockchain.

Big win by Australian team in the first test match. I had a feeling while watching Rachin yesterday that he might go on but unfortunately he could not. Playing in their home ground if Newzealand are unable to win a test match then it shows how badly the team batted. It was a game when bowlers were in control but a test match is still considered a batters game. Cameron Green's first innings 174 runs contribution was the only reason why Australian won the first test.
543  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: March 03, 2024, 05:53:58 AM
I doubt there will be any changes made in the team. They will go ahead with the same team and might give Bhumrah a rest in the final test. Akash Deep bowled well in the last test match he should get another opportunity in the final test. I don't see any need for the management to make any changes as the current team is in full form to book another win in the final test match in the series.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has AltCoins thought you a hard time lesson before? on: March 02, 2024, 09:47:04 AM
Investing in altcoins comes with great risk and that too investing in a single coin is highly risky. That is why it is always advised to diversify the portfolio which helps as if one coin fails the other might be a success. Diversifying the portfolio is risky if the coins where the amount is being invested fail. But, the risk is far less than investing in one single coin. If your friend had invested all his $1000 in coins like Ethereum or BNB then he would not have lost all his money. That is why doing research before investing is always recommended and investors should not blindly follow influencers.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Planet to be enlisted on binance on: March 02, 2024, 09:36:28 AM
The day this post was made by the OP, on that same date the token took a spiral dive into red. In a market that can be considered a bull market a token going into the red zone is not considered good. I do not know what fundamentals are you talking about, there is a big difference between the total supply and the circulating supply. If I only check the total supply then it is not a project to invest in with such a big supply. It is a red flag for anyone who looks into those figures that are available on the coinmarketcap.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Top 3 Altcoins of 2023? on: March 02, 2024, 09:19:51 AM
I guess BNB and Ethereum will be in the top 2 list of all forum members apart from Bitcoin. Lately, I have seen Solana doing all the right things to get into the list of those who are looking to get a good profit. In the last 24 hours, I am seeing a sudden push in the price of a few meme coins. Looks like they have started trending once again and if anyone wants to get a good profit then this is the right time to exit those coins.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 02, 2024, 07:36:26 AM
Rachin got his half century in game dominated by the bowlers. Can he be like Green for the Newzealand team in the second innings and help them get 258 runs? We will know about it tomorrow which will be the 4th day of this test. For now it still looks like that Australia is going to win the first test comfortably. If Rachin and Mitchell can get their partnership going tomorrow then it will entertaining.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: March 02, 2024, 03:55:14 AM
As per my understanding until Bitcoin dominance in the cryptocurrency market does not go below 50% we won't see altcoin season. Looking at the current market condition I do not see any possibility of altcoin season coming soon. The gains that Bitcoin is getting every day are the after-effects of Bitcoin spot ETFs. The demand has not dried down on the contrary it going up. This is the halving year and that means we can forget about altcoin season unless the Ethereum spot ETF gets approved. If it gets approved then we can expect a small but good altcoin season.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: March 02, 2024, 03:45:32 AM
Exchange token is good to buy, while hold for a long time and among all exchange token been mentioned, I prefer investing on Kucoin and is good to buy and they are more reliable to invest in cryptocurrency market, while expecting big whale to come in the near future.

I have been holding BNB for quite a long and the returns that it has generated have been good. Apart from getting normal market returns I have been staking them and getting a decent APR. It also helps me to trade on Binance at reduced fees which is a good option for daily traders. As I am not a daily trader I only use that facility whenever I am making any purchase or selling. I do get a small amount of airdrop of new coins when they get listed on Binance. There are a lot of benefits that exchange tokens give.
550  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: March 02, 2024, 03:38:30 AM
If the government has removed the ban then it is a positive sign. I did try accessing Binance with my Jio mobile connection and it failed. It is either a glitch with the Airtel network or I need to check again tomorrow. I will let you know about it as soon as I find out that I can access these URLs with my Jio mobile connection.

I am not using Binance or any other exchange but whenever I tried after they announced the ban I can access the URL with no issues at all and that too from Jio and Airtel mobile network connections.

ISP not yet blocks the URLs all over the country if I am not wrong but sooner or later it will stop working.

After the news was out of the URL ban I did try accessing binance but failed using my Airtel mobile connection. It did give me a blank page and from that time I have been using the Binance.me URL to log in to my account. Yesterday I saw a couple of posts on Reddit where users were again able to access binance using the .com URL and therefore I checked and it was working for me. Not sure why Jio allowed the access they are known to follow government directives instantly. Whatever the case was or is I am happy that it is working for me now.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 02, 2024, 03:24:03 AM
Australia is all out after adding 164 runs to the existing lead. The target for New Zealand is now 369 runs out which they managed to get 35 runs after losing 1 wicket. They will need a big partnership if they want to get those runs, which looks like an impossible task considering the conditions. This test pitch is a bowler paradise and bowlers are ruling it. I think Australia will win the first test match.

552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2024, 09:21:47 AM
Australia is absolutely decimating the Kiwis across all formats these days. This test is most likely going to the Aussies at this point thanks to that insane 10th wicket partnership.

On the other hand, it looks like Ireland will comfortably defeat Afghanistan since they might have to chase a target of around 100-150 which shouldn't be a problem for them.

They first won the T20 series and now they might win the test series. There are two test matches out of which the first one is going to Australia and most likely the second one will have the same outcome. I am suprised to see such poor batting the Newzealand batters Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra were out for a duck. These two are known to bat well still they were out back to back.
553  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: March 01, 2024, 08:10:46 AM
Just an FYI to everyone around here. Please check whether you guys are able to open up any of those banned exchanges. I am able to open binance.com using my Airtel mobile connection. I was also able to open mexc global and OKX exchange. I am not sure but I think the url ban has been removed. I tried searching these exchanges on the Play Store but failed to find the apps.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to guess or estimate the tx time ? on: March 01, 2024, 07:56:24 AM
On memepool.space on the top you will see a search box. Enter the transaction hash and it will give you an approximate time when you transaction will get confirmed. The same can be don on blockhair.com

If it is high priority then generally the first confirmation happens in 10 minutes. If it is medium priority then generally the first confirmation happen between 20 to 40 minutes.
555  Local / India / Re: Beware! Gov Planning a Cracks Down on Crypto Traders Evading Binance Ban on: March 01, 2024, 06:00:11 AM
It has been such a hotchpotch that I have stopped following that timeline. I am hopeful that the budget will shed some good light on the future of crypto and that trading from Indian exchanges would be feasible, but I guess I am getting ahead of myself.

Crypto in India will take a long time to recover from this mess. Till then, better hold on to your crypto and not sell. Grin

Exactly the right word for the present situation is hotchpotch and it is a big mess. I do agree with you it will take a lot of time for India to come back where it was earlier. I have a hope that the government in its full budget will come up with less tax for the community to survive and would incentivise to create an interest to use local exchanges. They might have banned international exchanges but they know there are many other international exchanges that are currently being used by the community for trading.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2024, 05:34:55 AM
New Zealand's batting was an absolute disaster as they did not even get to 200 runs. Thanks to Cameron Green Australia after having a bad start were able to get to 383 runs. Hazelwood played a significant role being on the nonstriker end with Green. Australia has a good lead and they would want that lead to be of at least 300 runs. This test is slowly going out of the hands of the New Zealand team. Looking at the current situation again Australian batters are having a tough time.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: March 01, 2024, 05:24:03 AM
On my wallet, the network was stuck on January 2024 as there's only one or two active in the network but it isn't updating. Unlike when I updated months ago, it was easy and quick to update to the latest block. Maybe there's a problem on that part or technically, there's something to get fixed?
No update yet.
I've tried to do the swap and still zero confirmation. There's only one connection that's online and that's probably me, I think the old desktop wallet needs some update from the devs to make all of these swaps doable and smooth. The block that's on my desktop wallet is still not yet updated and still the same as the one that I've posted before. Moreover a month now and will be more once we enter the month of March.

Same here it has been more than 24 hours. My swap is still pending, I think since it is in its early stages it is taking some time. I was told to contact the team through their discord channel. I don't want to overwhelm the team so I am planning to wait for another 24 hours and after that will contact them. Good to see that the EMC price has gone up so much in the current market condition.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price approaches $3k on: March 01, 2024, 04:46:07 AM

Bitcoin is the "King of Crypto". So it's normal to see most investors putting all of their money into BTC instead of ETH. The latter isn't as popular as many thought it would be. Coinmarketcap shows BTC has over 50% of market dominance. It will take a long time before ETH gathers the same attention as its predecessor.

At least, ETH is going into the right direction with active development and innovation. You can bet market prices will "explode" once spot ETFs are approved by the SEC. It should only be a matter of time before this happens. Why wait for the ETFs to come? Just sell ETH whenever you see it "pumping". Right now it's a good time to do so, before it goes back down again. Buy low, and sell high. As long as you do that, you'd be on a road towards "endless profits". Cheesy

You are correct Bitcoin is the king of all crypto and it has a dominance of 50% in the cryptocurrency market currently. Two years back that dominance was more than 50% because Ethereum was nothing at that time. As the ecosystem of Ethereum keeps on growing and if the spot ETF gets approved then there is a chance that it might reduce the dominance of Bitcoin in the future. It will take time but it will happen we will need to wait as we have been patiently waiting for Bitcoin to create another ATH.

I still don't understand why he went against the governing body and jeopardized his career. Ishan Kishan is too young to destroy his career by not behaving like a professional. He will now regret his actions for the rest of his life. Some so many players are dying to be part of the squad and play for India and some guys like Ishan Kishan take it for granted. Iyer is following the path of Sanju Samson which will lead to nothing. Once in a while, he might get an opportunity but that won't matter if he doesn't bat well.
560  Local / India / Re: Any P2P trading platforms that are active? on: February 29, 2024, 08:26:42 AM
Do not use Indian merchants on any of the P2P platforms mentioned by others. If you buy or sell using INR then the chance of your bank account getting frozen is very high. Till today bank accounts are getting frozen when anyone is using Binance P2P and you cannot unfreeze the account easily. It is a lot of hassle for now and most Indians are avoiding P2P transactions on Binance or other CEX.
