Continuing the conversation about Man United Goalkeepers, Newcastle seems to be interested in adding David De Gea to their lineup with Nick Pope being injured. If United do go for another Goalkeeper in the winter transfer window, de Gea should most likely make a move as being 3rd GK option for Man United doesn't seem to be a suited role for a player of his caliber.

Manchester United are not going to go for David Degea because they already have two other goal keepers that can come in should Onana leave for AFCON. Newcastle is the favourite to land him because Nick Pope is gonna be out for like 5 months and they need another experienced keeper to come in for him. I wish Degea just accepts the offer but the big problem is his wages. Before him leaving Manchester United he was one of the highest earners and I don’t think Newcastle will pay him that much.

I still don't understand why David De Gea didn't sign a new contract at the end of last season. It makes no sense for him to be without a club after leaving Manchester United. He is only 33 years old. Many goalkeepers have played and are still playing at the highest level at that age. David De Gea could also sign for Newcastle United and continue to play at the highest level in the Premier League. I think it would be the right deal for both parties. If David De Gea returned to Manchester United today, he would undoubtedly be in the starting eleven.

Degea situation with the Board of Manchester United got sour and that’s why he left. He felt that he was disrespected and he didn’t sign the new contract again. Clubs came for him but his wages were scaring to been paid. Although he had great offer from the Saudi league but decides to stay in Europe because of his family who have already gone fond of the place and that’s why we still hear he is around Manchester.

Does Newcastle United really need another goal keeper. Maybe yes with the rumour of Pope injury. For Manchester United I think they need a backup goalie because Onana will go for African Nations cup. So, even if Newcastle needs another goal keeper, I think Manchester United also needs a good goalie to help Onana that is under duress

The question of whether Onana or De Gea is always in mind whenever there is rumour of De Gea because I have seen Manchester United linked to De Gea and the problem was the wage. To be sincere the level of wage that De Gea was requesting was high for his age. If he wants such a few, SPL will be the best place to go.

Manchester United never did want to bring back Degea, if not they will have gotten him. Manchester United already a back up keeper who is actually highly regarded in the Turkish league. Altay Bayindir is ok to deputize for Onana if he leaves for the AFCON and then they have an experienced Tom Heaton again on the bench. In as much as I love De gea and would want him to come back and get a befitting sendOff, it will be a bad decision to bring him back because that will cause stir in the dressing room. Even as Onana is making mistakes in the team, I don’t think they need to bring in Degea but rather create competition between Altay and him. Should Degea come back Erik Ten Hag will lose the dressing room as players will split on opinion of him leaving again and players like Sancho will be expected to be called back too.

As for Newcastle, it is the best chance to bring in another competitive goalkeeper with experience and leadership to help lead this young squad to the future. Degea is well suited to Newcastle to avoid all the unnecessary pressure and rumors in Manchester United.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 04, 2023, 08:28:13 PM

Everton and Newcastle both won their last matches, but Newcastle was the better team. I don't think it's too risky to expect Newcastle to win the game against Everton, they are the favorites based on their performance. Even if Everton plays at home, then I think the morale of the players is not good after the points deduction. They are under huge pressure and I don't think they can steal any points from Newcastle.

I agree that Everton are still very likely to avoid relegation this season because they have 24 games yet to play. Everton can improve and return to their best form, but not when Everton plays Newcastle or a better team.

Everton seriously have be brilliant this season when compared to last season, but Newcastle can easily be called one of best currently in the league it will be hard to beat them but I will say Everton has a chance. The point deduction adds hunger to their game and they will need every points they can get this time around. This game is like the fourth game in a row now that Newcastle will be playing same team without any major substitution except that of Ritchie. I believe fatigue will set in and with Everton having more resting time they could punish Newcastle this weekend.

Have said this before am not sure both teams have a coach are they sleeping or what, most especially Chelsea they wasted their money buying frauds, what both teams are facing now I will blame their coach Ten Hang and Mauricio Pochettino and in situations like this we should blame the coach, I can still remember when Arsenal faced the similar issue every week Arsenal will always play something else and everyone blamed Wengar, same problem with Arteta at first and I was like what's going on but till today I can't tell how  Arteta build himself and the team, Ten Hang and Pochettino should work on themselves first before the team can progress, I find no fault in the players.
Manchester United vs Chelsea match will be so funny it's a must watch match but I can't predict the winning.

You found no fault with the players but it’s the coach, I think I will disagree with you. Take a look at Manchester United they have sacked 3 to 4 coaches which two can be called one of the best in the business. But with the same players nothing has changed. Is it Ten Hag’s fault that this team can’t spin a 20 second passes between themselves. Against Newcastle, the goal they scored, Rashford lost possession and was strolling back without pressing, same thing with Martial. Is that the coaches fault.

The Arteta you mentioned that struggled and later found a team how many of those players did he start with and are in the team now? I think only Saka that he promoted that is change. And that is what Manchester United need not to change another Coach and continue recycling them
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antpool set to return 83.4btc transaction fee paid. on: December 04, 2023, 08:14:56 PM
If the hacker can manage to send the previous transaction with 83BTC as transaction then he's still in possession of the wallet key and in this situation the only to verify the true ownership is through the signing message from self-custodial wallet address that the wallet owner once send BTC to before the hacking accident.

What you mean is signing message an old receiving address, this is actual a good way but what if the address doesn’t belong to the real owner of the wallet or probably the address private key or seed phrase is no longer available?

The malicious actor has apparently the private key of the wannabe "cold storage" of the legit owner. What the malicious actor likely doesn't have is the private key of the owner's address where the coins came from to be transfered to his (bad) "cold storage".
What you meant is the real owner should sign a message from the first address that this wallet was first funded with? Just like I said it could be possible that the coins might have come from exchanges or that wallet keys is no longer available
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 02, 2023, 06:08:05 PM
I hope so too that they don't repeat the mistake of previous season after giving their all only to get it all wrong at the end. I think a solidification of their position at the top of the table with a clear distant points away from City let say 10-12 points clear will be great. Also, I just wish to talk about the the 1 goal conceded by Arsenal in this game in the 86mins of play, that Cunha goal was due to a defensive error which I think coach Artheta need to give a close look at his defender's for correction in future, because the last 10mins before full time wasn't funny for a team whose objective is to win the EPL trophy this season.

Arsenal are currently doing well and that's why they are the league leaders. This game against the wolves was actually a tricky one and I was a bit scared that Arsenal could have dropped point because wolves have always been a nuisance to all top 6 traditional teams especially Manchester city. The thing now is can Arsenal keep up the momentum? I will give them a necessary of doubt because of the acquisition of new players. The one problem Arsenal had last season was defensive shortage due to Saliba injury then this season the defender has been solid again and if they keep him fit with the return of Timber the defense line will be complete. The next thing is to get a back up striker in the winter transfer window.

Arsenal could lead the table until next year but I don't think they will ever give any team that gap of 10 points because the EPL is too competitive this season to have teams slip up like that
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 02, 2023, 05:51:34 PM

This has got to be very inaccurate if you ask me. Heo do you want to measure the both of them then?! Inter Milan got to the Champions League finals and lost with a narrow win from City. Arsenal bottled the chances they had on winning the Premier League. We all know how the Champions League is way bigger than the Premier League. You shouldn't have compared the both of them in the first place.

This season, Inter Milan are also a better team than Arsenal, with both defending and attacking, you can't compare them together. If you intend to rank em, Inter Milan should come first ahead of gunner's.
Manchester United would be hoping nobody wins the game between Galatasaray and Copenhagen so they get a win against Bayern Munich. They'll need a miracle in between.

Firstly I would say inter Milan and Arsenal both are on the same level in terms of performance this season, if Arsenal is not even better Than them. Arsenal bottling the league wasn't just to anybody but to a city side that can be considered as one of the greatest in the team ever. The only thing inter Milan has over Arsenal is the champions league final experience and a more experience players but I will consider them same. on that list I will only move Bayern Munich above the two team, last season they didn't do well because of the lack of a proper striker but this season they have the best No 9 in the world in person of Harry Kane. if Halaand could power City to the title I also believe that Kane could be that person too
547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the importance of identify in your local board? on: December 02, 2023, 02:48:53 AM
Now I understand it is optional to identify in your individual local board. I have just a question to ask. If a person is not fluent in speaking good English on the general boards will they have to remain only on their local board for the rest of their time or years spent in the forum? Is there any consequences for bad English and comments on other general board that the message is not being conveyed to other. Perhaps someone writing a topic that the other members can’t read it or relate with it because of errors in spellings and grammatical functions
This forum is just a place for you to learn, so if you find almost all what you need that is all the information you want from even a board there is not necessity for you to leave there except you wish. For example you speak only the Russian local board language and you are get all your info from there, there is no need to move. Moving to a different board in the forum in which the language use there is the one you’re not familiar with is definitely not advisable because you will only be stressing yourself more and this could even lead you to the use of translators and this is bad and against the forum rules which is somewhat considered plagiarism and could lead to ban.

So do not leave the board to that which you can’t understand or pass information on, even if it is a single thread that gets you what you want stick there. There is no rule to be everywhere even on the general board in the forum
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Antpool set to return 83.4btc transaction fee paid. on: December 01, 2023, 10:00:42 PM
The record breaking high transaction fee of 83 bitcoin paid for a transaction of bitcoin which the block was mined by Antpool had earlier reported here which was found out to be a hacked wallet due to weak randomization of seed has been after a tweet on X. Now the pool that got lucky to mine the block in which is AntPool is ready to return the excess fees. Although it is not mandatory to return the fees but they are willing to return it.

Now the procedure is to just sign a message using the private of the sending address. The procedure is as explained here by AntPool with deadline set to 10 December.

My problem or say concern is what if the hacker is still in possession of the keys and ends signing the message.

Should Antpool decides to be careful and send the excess bitcoin back to that address as any new address collected by them might also belong to the hacker and in sending it back to the address again what if the sweeping malware is still on the address and the bitcoin is immediately sent out again to the hacker new address is there away for the network to block this kind of immediate transaction again from that same account for the main time. Just like double spending sometimes is rendered invalid by most nodes.

If you’re the owner and you are not if the private key is with the hacker and they could use it to Sign the message what will you do at this moment?
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 01, 2023, 04:26:46 PM
I agree that depending on the fate of other clubs is something that is very disappointing, and that will be experienced by Manchester United at this time. Manchester United can be said to only depend on luck now seeing such a reality. Because if they win against Bayern Munich, then if Galatasaray or Copenhagen one of them can win then it will not make them qualify, only maybe they will be in the Europa League play offs. But still it is something difficult, even their opponent this time is Bayern Munich which we know what their strength is like.

It’s going to be an exciting end to the group game in both group A and Group H. For group A Manchester United are just hanging by a thread, not only do they need to pull a miracle to win against a giant like Bayern Munich but also need luck in the other game. Yes I believe Manchester United can win Bayern Munich because Bayern already have qualified and their perfect record of not dropping points in the group stage has been broken by the draw against Copenhagen, so we all will be predicting them to Atleast name a weaker team against United. Another advantage is united are playing at home, which also isn’t much of an advantage since they haven’t won much there this season but we know they will have the backing of the fans to rally them all the way.

The other match between Copenhagen and Galatasaray is going to be the most fierce one because not only can both qualify to the round of 16, both can also drop to Europa league or out of the European competitions totally. This means both teams will Atleast have a target of getting into the Europe second division which of any lost will be at the mercy of Manchester United losing. So until then I can’t predict any right now

Improving the performance of a team doesn't occurred in a day but it do triggered in weeks and months before watching such team grow to become very promising in performance and strong when it comes to gaining full ground. Erik Ten Hag is not and will never be the prominent coach for Manchester United. I think is high time Manchester board and the Glazers family relieve him off his duties as headcoach because he's been given too much time to fixed the club and he's showing his impotent actions and have really dealt with the team's stats.

Given too much time? I beg to differ, this is Ten Hag second full season in charge of Manchester United, there have been many managers who have came and given too much time than this. Last season he came into the club and I would say raised the performance of the club, won there first trophy since 2018 even some saw it as a micky mouse trophy and then went to a cup final, finished third to qualify for the champions league which has been a nightmare so far. Yes I still think some of his decision making are poor and sentimental but I feel he deserves more time with this club. What Manchester United needs a good director of sport to make some football decisions and not necessarily sack mangers anyhow. What Manchester United needs is to Lower their expectations and build the team gradually, Arsenal and Liverpool were at this point with the current managers but with the backing of the Board they are looking like a proper team.

551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 30, 2023, 09:06:35 PM

I don't think Manchester City will win the trophy this season because he has shown on their performance because they are weak this season they are not strong like last season, I just think Arsenal or Liverpool can win the premier league trophy season especially Arsenal because I believe in them they can try their best and win the league title they won't make mistakes like last season that caused Manchester City to win the league and Liverpool are better than last season and playing well, I enjoyed their match against Manchester City they played really well, and if they continue like this they can win the league title.

Manchester City are not at their best as we saw last season but that is understandable due to the number of matches they play last season and the treble won. Everyone actually expected them to slump a little bit this season and that is what we are witnessing. But still I don’t still see a formidable opponent to challenge them for the title. Arsenal were able to challenge them last season and fell short but with new signings this season they look like a team that could still go all the way to the title but I still doubt their credibility of winning it. As for Liverpool, they are just better than last season but not yet the Liverpool side that won the league years back. As it stands with Manchester City still in the race even without their talisman De Bruyne, I will bet on them to win it again if he returns and back to form. But the jinx that no club has ever won it four times in a row could still play it’s part.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2023, 08:51:16 PM
Still, Guirassy remained behind Harry Kane. He started the season great but couldn't keep it up. Still, scoring 15 goals already would be enough. We have to say that he competes with Harry Kane and Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. I can say it's the golden season for Guirassy. He became an important player for Stuttgart this season.

Serhou Guirassy was the leading scorer when the season started and broke some records when he was smashing in goals and had Harry Kane trailing behind him. He got unlucky and picked up an injury which is not only bad for his chase to became the highest goal scorer but also created a lot of problems for Stuttgart has they couldn’t cope with him their Talisman. They lost two to three matches in his absence and that’s why they are some points behind the league leaders and third on log. I still think Guirassy will chase Harry Kane till the end but beating him to the goal scorer award is something I don’t see happening because of the quality team Kane is in.

I'm a bit perplexed by the instruction not to click on links.  The internet kinda loses its usefulness if we can't access other sites by clicking links.  Instead of a blanket prohibition, it would be better to recommend checking the destination URL before clicking, being cautious around links from questionable sources, or using security software that screens links.  But saying I can't click on any links at all leaves me unable to utilize the webs that makes it valuable.  There should be some nuance here rather than an extreme ban that defeats the whole purpose of browsing online.

I think what he was actually implying is the fact that one shouldn’t be clicking on links sent privately to you on your social media accounts or even through emails. This links are mostly sent based on algorithm to people who regularly browse about cryptocurrency or who follow various influencers on social media. There is softwares that actually filter this messages but the problem is sometimes hackers create sites that look so unique and end up not getting caught by this softwares. The best solution to all this phishing attacks is to have a separate device for your wallet or use the safest option of going into cold wallet
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: November 30, 2023, 06:12:52 PM
The growth of the population has decreased but not to a level where there are more opportunities. It is true that our generation and the generation after us has become less interested in sex due to many things, but it has increased slightly this year. That is a 1% increase since 2014.

In the part of opportunities I will say there still old opportunities but the problem still remains that most of the new generation are after getting office jobs or say people do not like to learn skills or trades anymore, education is seen as the only key to opportunities and once people acquire the degree they feel like other hand jobs isn’t worth it again. In the third world countries you will see in the past that one large family will be completely famers and Another family will be into another thing. But the current generation, when Many are into agriculture even with mechanize technologies available? So I will say it is actually this generation that is limited opportunities to something they prefer rather than what is available
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 29, 2023, 09:39:07 PM
Newcastle as a rich club did not buy many great players earlier this season. Their current performance tends to decline. In the EPL and UCL they did not perform optimally.  They should have maximized the mid-season market. They can prepare from now on by observing the players. One of Newcastle's current problems is strikers. So there is news they are approaching the second Top Scorer of the Bundesliga at the moment. He is Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgar.

Most at times it is not about been a rich club that just get you attracted to players but sometimes it is the project you have. Newcastle still looks like a small club in the face of some players even with Chelsea or Manchester United crisis a player will pick them ahead of the Magpies. So far so good I still think they are doing well this season even though they are not in the places we want them to be. They are just Like Five points behind the premier league leaders Arsenal and are third in their champions league group, this group isn’t as easy as it seems but they are putting pressure to qualify. If not for the fact that VAR awarded a controversial penalty to PSG yesterday they would be perfectly placed to qualify.

It's not a false hope but been optimistic as a fan, you don't want calamity to befall on your team, don't you? So, it's possible because today, I didn't expect them to raise the bar by having much goals like that but they should have done better. They raised everyone's hope that they will finish the match and win but ended draw which hqs further reduce their chances.

However, we can't say Bayern Munich will completely beat Manchester United in their next game. Bayern Munich is playing home match against Copenhagen and get have not lead nor conceded any goals, if they display this kind of less quality attack Manchester united, I have confidence in Manchester United to win them most importantly that they have home to protect.

Manchester United future lies on what Copenhagen played with Bayern Munich, if they lose then Manchester united have upper leg but if they draw, then the chance is very slim.

The match between Bayern Munich and Manchester United wasn’t even my thing of concern for them, but this game they just drew today, had they came out with all three points I think that will place them well to go against Bayern Munich. That match will mean nothing much to Bayern Munich and they would rest some players but we all know how they love to keep their perfect record in tact, so as things stands United might not be mathematically out but I don’t see them pulling this through
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 29, 2023, 09:16:37 PM

Erik Ten Hag knows Andrea Onana very well, they have worked for a very long time during the season with Ajax and won some big gajesnin the Champions League. He knows about the strength and weakness of the player but if he doesn't raize his game he will be dropped. I cannot say too much, I'll make sure to see the highlights of the game tomorrow before I can judge.
Anyways, Galatasaray has done well, they should be giving enough thanks to Hakim Ziyech who helped his side score two beautiful freekicks.

Galatasaray will have to win the last game against Copenhagen so they can successfully qualify for the Champions knockouts. Manchester United will be back home even if they get a win against Bayern Munich.

I am with you on this, I have actually defended Onana about his ability as a goalkeeper which I believe was world class before joining Manchester United. The first few matches I had excuses for him about not yet settled into the team and the EPL but today he had a disaster class. The two goals from Hakim Ziyech were just gifts from Onana, my critics against Degea has always been that he doesn’t comes out to claim balls from set pieces, but same thing is happening with Onana. The worst thing is Ten Hag is not so good in substitutions, he should give the second goalkeeper a chance and when making substitutions it shouldn’t be on sentiment. In this match Anthony should have came off and not Garnacho.

Mathematically Manchester United are still in this but should Copenhagen win tonight then it is over. Personally I don’t want them to drop to Europa league but rather just go home and focus on the league matches and cup games
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the bitcoin network be affected if? on: November 29, 2023, 08:58:18 PM
Don't worry about the mining reward as it will take a long time before all of Bitcoin is mined and even though there's no block reward but still miners will still earn from transaction fees. The reward that miners will get depends on the price of Bitcoin so, no matter how much BTC that the miner will get the value would still be same. Let's say that the miner get 5 BTC where the price is around 37k to 40k then that miner will get 185k if 37k and let's say miner get 10 BTC in the future and with the same value in dollars which is also 185k.

Yea the time to completely mine bitcoin which is around 2140 is very far from now but before that time I don’t think there will be much significant change again. The reward will be around 0.1 come 2044 which is 20 years from now from beyond that time the reward to mine a block wouldn’t be too enticing again. Also except the transaction fee increases I don’t think even the bitcoin price which is supposed to be high would be enough to keep the entire network decentralized because maybe other miners would have quit but just as you said let’s allow time decide that

One reason I can get is the fact that these projects actually found out that the Bitcointalk forum just as the name implies has shifted its focus totally to bitcoin only related issues and the alternative cryptocurrencies are not getting the attention they deserve. And for a wide coverage of their project they go to maybe other forum to advertise their projects and works. I don’t see this as Bitcointalk losing it charm but rather it’s members putting their focus fully into bitcoin only. There is this dashboard that shows the number of daily registered members (I can’t find it yet) and it is still increasing which shows that this forum still has its charm

Get out of the Champions League Milan after tonight super super miserable performance,Dortmund could have been winning 1-5 right now or even more if they had scored the huge amount of goal chances they have had so far, what a pathetic team Milan,I wonder how is a team like that fighting for the title in their domestic league,it must be down dramatically in performance the Serie A as there is really no other explanation to what I am seeing here.

Looks like the favorites Milan and PSG are saying good bye to Champions League this year as only one of them will go to the Europa League, the other out of every competition.

A win today will mean a qualification for Dortmund to round of 16 and should PSG lose they are on the verge of missing out on the last 16 places. The drama in this group still continues to last match I think. I agree with you that Milan have been poor in this seasons champions league but that should not take away their good performances in the league or even ridicule the league. There have been many times clubs failed to make an impact in the champions league but go home to win their league. A clear example is the Barcelona team which is poor in the Champions league but always peeps Real Madrid who are the king of the competition to the league title. So it’s not the impact of the competition that matters in the league

I would say the best is certainly inventing a job that is you own this comes with total control and freedom. There are people that wants to practice their profession but the capital to actually invent it is too high and risky. As for me I would prefer both. I have a profession that I would love to practice and also have my own business. So both have an advantage but inventing one’s business is definitely more appealing to many people because of the freedom that comes with it
