I am considering taking a loan to buy btc and eth, is it a good idea? Because btc and eth always go up in long term. They never die. There seems to be a great chance of getting huge profit instead of losing money. A few years ago somebody in this forum asked others the same question and everyone told him not to do that, look at the price now. If that guy did, he would have been rich now. Nowadays the situation is not different, the price will continue to go up. I think people who invest more will earn more profit eventually. What do you think?
No, the first rule when you want to invest is only invest what you can afford to lose. Most of us here predicted that bitcoin and eth will increase in the future, but nobody knows for sure what will happen. If something unexpected happen and suddenly you suffer a lot of losses then it will be hard for you to get up again because you have to repay the loan. You should've spared your salary every month and leave some for investment purpose. |

Does anyone know if it's possible to restore an encrypted minex wallet from a dat file? How would an individual accomplish this?
if someone will get your dat file he will be able to restore the wallet but will not have the access to its fund. The latter requires your password. It can be obtained only via bruteforce but if the password is strong enough ( no less than 32 characters including all their types) this is in fact impossible. I've got the password, no problem there since I'm the one who made it up. A better rephrase of my question would be what program, app, or software should I utilize to restore said wallet from dat file? If you remember the password then it's no problem as you only need to copy and paste the dat file to the minex folder in the appdata directory and replace the one over there. After that open the wallet and it's already restored, unlock the wallet and you can move the funds again. |

Hello! There are no need in 2FA. MinexBank isn't storing your coins, so even if someone will proceed to hack your account, all he will be able to do it's cancel or create parking. I think hackers aren't interested in such things.  I don't think that the reason giving is genuie enough, the space is getting smart everyday and 2FA has helped me alot, If it adds tot he team overhead cost then the team need to say, just know that anything that can be hacked will be hacked now or later In the case of Minexbank 2FA absolutely useless feature that can even be obstackle for client, IMHO. To have it on Minexbank is similar to have 2FA on weather forecasting website. The day you're gonna park $10.000 and you'll see someone get into your account and make you loose $500 because he cancelled your 5% weekly parking, maybe you'll change your mind. Someone might not be interested to do it alone, and there's no point in doing that, but we absolutely know that cryptocurrency world is sensible. And the day someone will want to see minexcoin going down, they'll find a way to get into everyone's account and cancel all the parkings. You'll see how nice it is on the news sites... My investment is much higer that 10.000$ But, my PC is protected, wallet is encrypted+backup is saved outside from PC. I have long and strong password at Minexbank. But in bank working people who knows about security much more than you or me. And if they are saying 2FA is useless anymore, so that is like that. And nobody say you why, I hope you understand why? 10.000$ was an example, I don't care how much you owe. Which bank said 2FA is useless. I'd be curious to know. Why did Visa develop 3D Secure then ? GPU RIG: Kenapa standart satuanya hashrate-nya MH/s (sekarang), karena yang mempopulerkan kembali GPU mining adalah ETH (Ethash/Dagger Hasimoto). GPU/VGA bisa mendapatkan satuan hashrate yang berbeda dari tiap Algoritma coin yang ditambang. Banyak factor yang harus dipertimbangan untuk menentukan alat yang mana yang mau bro pilih. Nothing can stop them if the team didn't lock the token. They can buy it from etherdelta if it's cheaper over there until the cheap token is exchausted and after that they have to buy it from the tokensale page to get the token. |

Of course it will be bad for oil industry because the demand will go down but oil has limited supply and it caused more pollution than electricity based car. Maybe in 10 more years everyone will use electric cars because at that point people are aware how bad the pollution is and start doing things that can reduce it. There's still a lot of other industries that use oil so the demand is still there although not as much as it used to be.

The dotcom bubble last longer than this and way bigger than bitcoin marketcap, bitcoin is just booming this year, it's been moving sideways for two years before finally moving again so i don't think it's the right time to sell your bag. I will sell a little because christmas is around the corner but i will keep holding the rest for another year or two.

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least. My question is, what do I do now? As far as I can see, I have 4 options;1) Hold the Bitcoin
2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin
3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

How many times has this been asked? at $2000, $5000 $7000 $ 9000, the answer is it's never too late if you are going to invest and hold it for atleast more than 1 year. Bitcoin value will keep rising especially with more new money coming in. Yes you won't get as many return as the one who bought it at $1000 but it's better to be late than never. Bitcoin is still a good thing to invest as it's just the beginning. |

No way it's going to increase until $1000 as there's only 2 month left for that. I can see ethereum break $1000 in 2018, but maybe late 2018 or early 2019. It just break a long time resistance so it will need time until another bull run which will bring it past $1000 mark. Anyone knows criteria for kraken because i havent seen any coin listed on kraken for a long time and neither on poloneix. Why would we go to smaller exchange if you want presence, if you want presence you should aim for bittrex, a large US exchange with lots of liquidity and traders. Jadi kalau kita ada pasang 2fa, walau passwordnya kebobolan setidaknya dia ga bisa masuk karna ada 2fa, ini perna kejadian pas banyak yang kena hack di exchange liqui, saya dapet email ada coba login juga, cman karna ada 2fa nya dia ga bisa masuk. Coba dicek lagi apa tokennya masi di lock atau engga, kalo masi di lock ga bisa dipindahin ya bakal gagal dan bayar gas. Kalo ternyata memang ga di lock, coba di cek tx yang gagal di etherscan diliat errornya kenapa, kurang gas apa gimana, kalo memang kurang gasnya dinaekin, kalo ternyata memang masi ga bisa juga langsung aja di kontak support etherdeltanya.
